A quick sketch of how Vox looks In Washout Diner

He wears a sweater gifted to him by Brianna.

His hypno eye doesn’t work, he can’t afford to repair his screen, and even if he could, they stopped making his head screens when the e Vees were overthrown.

He lost everything, and Velvette and Valentino were killed.

He was found in a back alley by Cucumber Melon and taken in.

He has trouble dealing with the loss and change, and is just trying to have some control.

He scavenges the rubble of the V-tower to find some more remnants of his former life.

Is possessive over his few belongings.

Has random posters all over his room in the building to imitate the screens in his former office lair thing.

He has a lot of trauma from the event and goes to therapy later on.

PROTECTIVE over loved ones. (He doesn’t want to lose it all AGAIN)

Named the diner “Washout Diner”

I couldn’t find too many more instances of this shimmering fragrance mousse (and by that I mean only this single listing of this one product) but it’s in their most iconic scent. I remember in like 2010/11 having this foaming mousse but it was all crackly and foamy and was supposed to give you a bronze tan. It was in a brown container.

What is Washout Diner

In this AU, The Vees were overthrown. This attack resulted in Velvette and Valentino's deaths. Vox is left homeless, powerless, traumatized, and with his screen damaged beyond any repair he could afford after the attack.  

Left with nothing, Vox is not willing to admit defeat or go to the Hazbin Hotel. He ends up in an alleyway, bullied relentlessly by some people, like the dorky kid in a High School movie. One member of the diner, Cucumber Melon, finds Vox and takes him to the diner.  

Why Washout Diner? 

A washout is described as an utter failure. After the events of the attack, Vox felt like, well, an utter failure. He was filled with survivor's guilt and dozens of "What ifs" and "If I only" questions to himself. The diner did not really have an official name before Vox arrived, so they just used the nickname Vox gave the place. The dinner gains some more members. Despite Vox being annoyed about being at the diner at first, he realizes that like vines on an abandoned structure, or a kind of fungus, the diner is growing on him. 

I will introduce characters and different facts and tidbits about the characters over time!

I am not sure what gourd or melon mum bought but likelihood is Old Cucumber (老黄瓜). Usually, they are used in soup but mum did a stir-fry with tiger prawns, minced pork and tomato wedges. The Spicy Red Snapper is cooked with plenty of sliced bamboo shoots and tomato for acidity.
