Spore print slides are up next. These prints were made from bioluminescence fungi. The colour attracts a specific beetle that helps spread the spores throughout the forest. Tiny bottles waiting for their labels!🤗 Think I’m gonna call this one “Hunters Sleep”. When stepped on these plants release spores that attach themselves to the stepper and then get transported and replanted. An unfortunate side effect is that it can cause temporary paralysis if one happens to pass through a full grove. 😧 These little bottles will be in the curiosity advent calendar I’m working on.
