It was a fine dry night; frost in the air; the streets as clean as a ballroom floor; the lamps, unshaken by any wind, drawing a regular pattern of light and shadow.

I wish that the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde had been told from Jekyll’s point of view rather than Utterson’s. After reading it, I was struck with that feeling of ‘this was good for what it could have been.

I generally don't make posts like this, cause I don't wanna start an argument or disagreement, but I do find the "Is Hyde really a person?" discourse, a bit odd...I know it's a comic, and maybe I'll be proved horribly incorrect but...
Does he have emotions, with personality traits and preferences? Yes.
Does he insist he's a person? Yes.
Then he is, in fact, a person.

You must suffer me to go my own dark way. I have brought on myself a punishment and a danger that I cannot name. If I am the chief of sinners, I am the chief of sufferers also.

☆ Pspspsps- Fandom! Torn between writing something for another OC of mine or not..
No, not Malory. Some might remember her from one of my previous writings.
This one's a bit of a dual-bladed mind. A bit of a troublemaker.

The surprising thing while reading The strange case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, is that the book doesn't show Jekyll is Hyde even when he dies. And then the truth is revealed through others' narrative when the story is almost finished
Anyway, the book is good. It's a nice gothic horror mystery novel to read
