We're nearing the end of our Curse of Strahd campaign - we've just entered his castle for presumably the last time, and the stakes are higher than ever, with all our beloved NPCs with us! We're so excited and terrified to reach the end of our journey, so I did this art piece in Strahd's (dis)honour!

My wife asked me to come up with a Strahd-compatible PC and I decided to make Baba Lysaga’s dorky son who is jealous that his mom loves Strahd and wants to give him dark gifts more than her own kid.

After his girlfriend also left him for Strahd he retreated to the Barovian woods, picked a spot to slump, stayed there for days, and became one with the woods. He fused with the trees and they are his friends now. In my mind he talks like Kurtis Conner. (CLAPS) FOLKS- (the trees echo “folks” 100x)

Daraath “The Shadow”. Dragonborn Ranger. Lawful Evil.

My friend's dragonborn in our first campaign: Curse of Strahd. She gave no fucks and was the one to land the final epic blow on Strahd. She was incredibly chaotic and really became the life of the party/main driving force. From adopting a changeling baby to shooting the mayor of Vallaki during a wererat assassination attempt, she was really good at keeping us on our toes and guessing, haha.

The first image in the timelapse video was from almost a year ago. I was excited to be commissioned to draw Daraath again and to do so with the help of BG3's character creator for references! This was a quick 1 hr 35 min sketch to warm up for the actual piece.
