Mi jam tradukis ĉi kanton kaj afiŝis ĝin ĉi tien, antaŭ monatoj. Mi retradukos ĉar nun mi estas konanta Arkaikan Esperanton.

Mi iam legis ke ArkaikEsperanto uzatas por traduki latinajn tekstojn kaj mi tuj pensis pri ĉi kanto. Estas interesa la tradukado ĉar ĉi Esperanto havas deklinaciojn kiujn la latina havas krom akuzativon, do tio donas etoson de pli rekta traduko, kvazaŭ ne tiom da originala esenco estus perdita. Mi konfuziĝis pri la traduko de "beatam estat ityu cuyu", ĉar latine estas "beatus vir qui", kiu laŭvorte estas "beata estas la viro kiu". La konfuzo estas ke mi ne scias ĉu "viro" efektive aludas al viro, aŭ ĉi tio estas nepersona aludo, kiel "oni" aŭ "tiu" mem. Kvankam mi scias ke latine eblas diri "is qui" por nepersona aludo, mi ne dubas ke ĉi tio povas esti alternativo. Fine mi elektis traduki kiel "tiu".
