So I'm gonna say Soap is at the bottom tentatively. It depends on how well you can handle pain. I think he's almost overly empathetic-- he's the type who will cry if he sees someone crying, and wince when he sees someone in pain. So if you're easy to reduce to tears, he won't do very much, if anything. However I can also easily imagine a scenario... Stay with me here.

(So there's a style of corporal punishment, which I'm not going to say is good, but I can see Soap subscribing to it. My grandfather used to put his hand on the top of my fathers head and hit that. This is so that whenever he was giving him corporal punishment, my grandfather hurt himself as well, maybe more so, and wasn't able to forget how much force was being used. Again, not gonna say it was a good thing to do, but there's an amount of logic behind it.)

Anyways, I can see Soap doing that. Any injury he inflicts on you, he'll do to himself. It's almost like he's making his own soulmate style bond. It's another effort on his part to build up a connection between you-- a sort of camaraderie.

I think John cares too much about image to be able to hurt you very much. He won't do anything that will leave marks-- I also think he's the one most likely to take you on outings, so he can't exactly have you looking like an abused spouse. Anything he does is open palmed, nothing that leaves cuts or bruises.

Gaz prefers not to resort to violence, but he's not shy, either. He's more likely to put you in scenarios where its up to you not to get hurt, so less of the burden is on him. Things like holding a knife to your skin so you have to stay completely still. Also in situations where he'll grab, and tell you to say what he wants you to say or he'll just keep twisting.

Ghost is fully willing to hobble you. Not in a permanent way, but if you like running, like fiddling with things you shouldn't be fiddling with-- he will break bones and cut tendons. It is not in a way that causes more pain than needed. He isn't cruel, he doesn't want you to hate him and associate him with pain. So he'll dutifully care for the wound, make sure everything is setting correctly and that you have everything you could ever want while you recover. But it's possible he's only making sure it heals well so that he'll be able to do it again later if needed.

Nikolai's physical punishments will come without warning, without gradation. He'll basically let you rack up sins, offenses, bad behavior-- all while you don't know he's keeping a tab and fully intending for you to pay up when he's ready. And he will do permanent damage. Nikolai will have never once laid a hand on you in violence, and suddenly one day one of your tirades of screaming and calling him a monster ends with your pinky wedged in his bolt cutters, right at the middle knuckle, all while the look on his face doesn't change. And he makes you beg for him to help. Tell him you need him, that you always needed him, that you were being stupid and you didn't mean what you said. If you tell him what he wants to hear? Suddenly he's like a big cuddly bear again, doting on you and cooing poor thing while he neatly bandages and cleans everything, feeds you your favorite meal, doses you with plenty of painkillers and cocktails.

If you refuse to beg? Well, he won't let you die of gangrene or anything. He'll pour the nearest bottle of liquor over a kitchen knife and hold it on the stove for a minute before cauterizing the wound.

When all's said and done, months and months from now, he'll probably get you a decorative silver cap for what remains, finely engraved, with you new last name, perhaps?

tbh it has been a bit since I've had to post trigger warnings, so if I missed something I should have added, I'm sorry. My comic will have blood, but it will be kind of artsy-flowery blood. And this is the end of the Prologue!

the brig!! thrown in there and forgotten while saltwater seeps through and drenches whumpee constantly leaving them coughing and miserable

hostage situations on “friendly” terms. whumpee can wander around on deck and maybe they even joke around with some of the pirates. but the minute they try to escape, there’s a sweeping blade at their throat and someone roughly manhandling them to the captains quarters to be “dealt with”

being made an example of for misconduct is often extreme and cruel. there are no laws on the high seas

the damage left by the opposing side’s cannon fire? timber embedded in limbs, gaping wounds, and formerly brave sailors curling up in fetal positions to try and protect themselves

a captain whumper who calls their prisoner whumpee “darling” in the most derogatory way possible.

emergency first aid being applied hurriedly and with unskilled hands.bandages made from old shirts, amputations done unabashedly and crew mates being carried back fireman style to their ship.

In the tiz version of the movie Donnie and Mikey take the role of the Raph and Leo scene where Raph gets impaled? If thats when Donnie gets his arm taken off the whole severed arm could end up in the escape pod with Mikey and thats how they manage to keep access to his tech, since the computer gauntlet thing left with Mikey.

Okay so I was thinking that IF Donnie loses his arm (and this is still an if) it'd be because it was too badly damaged to heal so they kinda had to.... ✂️.....ya know... cut their losses if you get what I mean

But HOLY SHIT imagine if the arm just got yoinked off right before Mikey got sent away in the escape pod. So when Mikey reaches home, instead of Donnie coming out of Donnie's escape pod, it's Mikey covered in blood and Donnie's severed arm what in the actual fuck- 🫠

Okay so as fun of a concept that is (for me, not for the characters lol) I think I'll stay with my current plan. I wanna make the movie angsty in the AU but also.... maybe not quite that disturbing lmaooo. And in the AU they don't need Donnie's "computer gauntlet thing" as you called it, whether it's attatched to Donnie's arm or not, cuz they have Shelldon to access Donnie's tech if they need to. (No he did NOT die in the season 2 finale, not in the AU and NOT IN CANON EITHER I AM NOT IN DENIAL HE IS FINE!!!!!!!) ....Point is, they'll be able to use Donnie's trackers anyway!

This discussion about the cuck chair in Hannibal's kitchen has got me thinking about weird interior design choices.

Chilton describes this as his guest room:

I'm sure that Hannibal put the set dressing in there, but even without all the funky medical/catering equipment, isn't this a bit odd?

It adjoins his wine cellar.

It has one tiled wall and one stainless steel wall.

The door for what is presumably an en suite (given that this is a 'guest room') has a window in it.

Are those ten (10) light switches?

(This is a small tangent, but what did Hannibal do with all the original furnishings? I don't see a bed or wardrobe. Does he put it somewhere else in the house? Furnish his own house by stealing other psychiatrists' furniture? Take it all to the tip? On his own? Just picturing him in his little murder suit, carrying a double bed over his head like an ant...)

We know that Chilton isn't The Ripper, but his interior design choices do lead me to believe that he is a psychopath.

Don't even get me started on Bedelia.

whumpee just gets so scared of whumper they pass out. Just the idea of their body shutting down, not even able to handle it anymore psychological. Whumper finding it amusing how whumpee has gotten to the point of passing out due to fear.

mmm I love this. Whumpees body literally going into a freeze state is good shit 10/10

Whumpee has never been very brave to begin with. They’ve never liked conflict, or discomfort, or dealt well with pain.

However they are very good at pacification; they’ve been described as charming, having a silver- tongue, or as whumper calls them “a lying little shit”

But once the knives are out, whumpee goes silent. Slack-jaw in horror. No no no no. Their voice is dead in their throat.

Worse is the hammer. The shock collar is pretty bad too.

“Aren’t you going to sing for me?”

Whumpee tries to salvage the situation (their dignity) “why don’t we talk this out? I promise I won’t sue you, you’ll be safe if I’m safe.” They’re lying, they’re lying, they’re lying, they’ll come after whumper with the best fucking lawyers in the city.

But Whumper won’t stop. They keep going. Whumpee reached their breaking point when they were twelve and their dad yelled at them for not mowing the lawn. What Whumper’s doing? They can’t deal with it.

The panic attacks get worse. If they hear Whumper’s footsteps, they start crying. A reflex, they can’t control it. They’re so scared, they can’t think straight.

Whumper has a god awful grin. “I’m having a blast, what’re you crying about?”

There comes a point, after they lose their finger to Whumper’s knife, when they black out when they see them.

Whumper loves it. They don’t have to do a thing and their captive will slump forward, eyes glazing. It’ll last for a minute before Whumper slaps them awake, or grabs their hair and twists

“Wake up, sleeping beauty”

Whumpee is shaking, voice hoarse. “Please— please no—“ they much prefer the aching nothingness.
