Vwoop knew what the book was as soon as it had seen it. The print on the front cover was unmuddied, displaying "DO NOT READ" clearly. It ran its thumb over the black letters depressed into the cover. It was Ranboo's diary, of course -- a near exact replica of the third edition, Vwoop would have attested, but it didn't know anymore. There were far more accounts of his life than Vwoop had read back then. It seemed that the more ey saw, ey felt more and more that ey would never know the true details of what happened to him.

(At least Graphite had attested to have known Ranboo -- in some way or another. It didn't seem that they were friends, though, but ey didn't quite know what to ask or how to ask it. Regardless, crown had assured em that Ranboo was, at least, real.)

Of course, if this place was some weird… cognition… state, thing, this would be the one book that was intact. It was Vwoop's favourite. It didn't only live under eir pillow, but was replaced there night after a day of carrying it around. Ey had made countless copies of it -- ey couldn't write a default smiley face in any handwriting except Ranboo's.

Ey had read countless of his tales, but the allegedly real firsthand account spurred em in a way that none of the other stories did. Ey thought of what it might be like to have eir own journal, filled with real adventures -- not an account of how many books it had sold or what Ren had made for dinner, or brief entries detailing strange clients. It would write about having its own life! What it would see! Short notes about people that it wouldn't know yet, something to be able to look back fondly on when it had forgot its first impressions, jotting down happenings that it wouldn't understand until it could look back and all the pieces would fall into place. It could maybe even write back home to its brother, tell them all that it was getting up to….

It had a very simple view of the world, back then.

Vwoop stared now at the book in its hands. It didn't open it.

It wondered if Ranboo hated his journal as much as Vwoop hated eir own.

Vwoop had written about courting eir friends. The things ey wanted to do for them, trying to scheme to get them to hang out together. A few funny quips ey remembered to jot down. Events planned. Some names that Vwoop didn't know anymore -- ey wondered about them still. An explanation of why it hadn't written, page smudged with purple grit where the page had absorbed a tear. Empty pages.

It seemed like a lifetime ago. It was a lifetime ago. It was, what, two years? That was as long as Vwoop was alive when it settled down in the Flower Area. Ey've known ClockworkLocusts longer than ey've known eir brother.

(Finch has been sick for longer than ey knew xem.)

Vwoop didn't write much about Finch. Ey didn't even think about it, ey didn't need to -- what would be the point in noting down something it was so sure of? It was like ensuring it wouldn't forget the colour of its own eyes, or how the sun felt on its face.

She is so close. She could definitely immobilize her with the Unfaithful Nail that Qian Qiao gave me. WOH, episode 15, part 1. GXL is taking care of the unconscious DK, sitting on his bed and holding his hand tells him that the Heroes' Conference starts tomorrow. She explains that her father said that he would announce her engagement and ZCL at the conference. The girl adds that she cannot ignore her father's orders and if one day DK wakes up, she asks if he will blame her. GX enters the room, clearly looking sick. GXL asks who is entering and notices that it is GX, who is unsteady on her feet. GX with difficulty approaches the table, and GXL, seeing the state GX is in, asks what happened. GX picks up a bottle of medicine, and GCL grabs her hands and asks why GX has such hot hands and asks GX to go to bed. CWL leads GX to the other bed in the room. GXL asks why GX was acting so recklessly. GX gets into bed and GXL sits down next to her, brushing her hair back from her forehead and affectionately saying that GX is foolish and should be more careful. GXL leans over the girl and GX thinks to himself that GXL is so close that she could definitely immobilize her with the Infidel Nail that LQQ gave her. GX holds a hidden blade in her left hand. At this point GXL stands up and states that GX seems a little hot and GXL wants to get up but GX stops her and weakly asks her not to leave. GXL agrees and says that he will check GX's pulse and takes her wrist. GX thinks to himself not to panic because she has to immobilize GXL the first time. Only then will GX have the chance to exchange it for LFM. GX carefully raises the blade, but at that moment a male voice is heard calling her name. Hearing this, GX hides the blade. A breathless CWN runs into the room and looks around. He runs to the bed where GX is lying and states that he was told that GX is sick and went to see a doctor. The concerned young man asks what happened and why GX suddenly became sick. When GX does not respond, CWN asks GXL if it is something serious. GC's daughter replies that it is not and adds that she will give GX some medicine. GXL gets up and walks away from the bed where GX is lying and CWN moves closer to the girl. GX with his eyes closed tells CWN to go away and not to touch her and opening his eyes asks what he is doing. Surprised CWN replies that he did nothing of the sort and shows her a few bags saying that he bought her a few snacks. GX ostentatiously shows that she is not interested in them. In her mind, GX says to herself that CWN has clung to her like a burr to a dog's tail. She wonders why he had to barge in just when she wanted to overpower GXL. CWN, unaware that he has ruined GX's plans, takes out one of the snacks and says that the medicine will be bitter and asks her to eat something sweet while giving the snack to her. GX pushes CWN's hand away and says that she doesn't want it. CWN insists, saying that it's very good and that she should try it. GX's irritation grows, and CWN puts the snack in her mouth to show that it tastes good. GX looks at the young man for a moment and turns her back to him. GXL feels guilty towards DK that she won't be able to marry him, but she has to obey her father and hopes that DK will forgive her when he wakes up. GX, seeing that WKX shows no desire to save LFM, comes up with an idea on her own how to do it. She wants to kidnap GXL and force GC to exchange LFM for his daughter. The plan seems perfect according to GX, until CWN interferes, whose presence ruins GX's plan. The young man is surprised by GX's reluctance, while he is only worried about her health. He does not assume that GX is not sick, but wants to use this as an excuse to save LFM. GXL is also unaware of the danger she is in.

Chroma - 'I Wanna Be Where You Are'

Pontypridd, Wales bi-lingual alt-rock trio CHROMA are pleased to reveal the official video for their new single ‘I Wanna Be Where You Are’ out now via Alcopop! Records. The news comes ahead of a huge support slot with Foo Fighters for the band this week, and they also support Newport comedy hip hop troupe Goldie Lookin Chain on their forthcoming 2024 headline dates later this year, with limited tickets remaining. The track is the latest to be taken from the band’s gigantic Alcopop! Records 2023 debut album Ask For Angela. Commenting on the single, vocalist Katie Hall said: "This song is about limerence. It’s a new word I’ve learnt from the Lalala Let Me Explain podcast. It means to be emotionally and romantically infatuated with someone. It’s like when you have an intense crush on someone who’s not good for you. It’s not necessarily because they're a bad person, it’s because you’re in a bad place so you try to mask your problems with love.  In an age of modern technology, love and dating seems disposable. When I fall into limerence it’s usually because I feel lonely. I think it’s something a lot of people go through. We wanted to write a punk song about turbulent love that people could maybe relate to." The track comes with an official music video directed by Ren Faulkner, with artistic direction from the band's Katie Hall, movement director Bronwen Wilson Rashard, hair and makeup by Yasmine Davies, featuring model Emily Koko, styling by Alaw Griffiths and clothes by Rosie Evans. “One of the coolest things about being in a band is being able to creatively direct your own music video,” says Hall of the challenge. “The idea for ‘I Wanna Be Where You Are’ came from a hinge date I went on in Port Talbot. FFXVI RP・DYNAMIS - MARILITH・CWLS・FC

We are an FC・CWLS・RP Group focused on FFXVI and its characters. Our objective is simply to have fun doing FFXIV content while in character. Of course, it doesn't mean using the FFXIV world to set roleplay scenes is not in question. You can either use Etheirys as if it was Valisthea or RP as a crossover. Or neither. We only want to have fun while roleplaying our favorite FFXVI characters. Therefore, there is no restriction on how you want to roleplay in our group.

We also don't have restrictions for who is interested in joining and only recommend having finished the game because of spoilers.
