sadly bylers have shown themselves to be just as close minded and toxic as milelevens. it’s funny to see all their intelligence and media literacy fly out the window and watch them become suddenly unable to analyze media on a deeper level as they have been for years when a theory pops up that they don’t like (this isn’t even the first time they’ve acted like this too over a theory they dislike) .. I think this is the problem when a fandom is made up primarily of children. The brat hasn’t aged out of them yet. They are too concerned with fitting into the crowd and cowtowing to the loudest and nastiest voices. This is why I as a byler don’t fuck with this fandom anymore. I think a lot of this behavior is also tied to the idea of “winning” against milelevens, and some have become so focused on winning that they can’t see the forest through the trees and forget they are watching a tv show where a bunch of diff things can and will happen, not just some sort of race towards byler kissing
