I have to ask, what was your favorite character to make a clothing design for? All of the designs look amazing, so I was wondering if you have a favorite.

i'm actually proud of all my designs and had a lot of fun figuring everything out! i wanted the designs to conform to canon and make it look like it can be in the show but i've also put my own spin and flare to it!

at some point, i'll make turnarounds of all the characters and detailed explanations of why i designed them like so but here's some bonus fun facts about the bros' design~

leo's design will always integrate all his brothers' colors. he's closest to canon because i want to keep the canon element of the show and not change too much.

raph's design is actually inspired from lou jitsu's fit! most especially the shoulder guards. just as a reflection on how much big mama wants him to be the next lou jitsu.

mikey's design is the one that lacks his color the most because his colors mimic draxum's armor and has his opposite color to show how much his authentic self is repressed. the only thing that represents him is his burnt orange sash around his waist.

donnie's outfit is designed to show as little of his turtle self as possible. when he has his mask on, the only thing that hints of his turtle self is the green on his gloves.

both raph and donnie's designs have M's all over it to signify how they are big mama's "property" and are treated as such.

Something about the fact that all the people gi hun is mostly shipped with (inho, salesman, sangwoo, junho and occasionally daeho) is so funny to me. like yeah this man is older than them but somehow is the submissive one has so much flavour 😩

yeah he's so submissive and breedable fkswnwbgfjrbn he looks good with every man with whom he has a 3 seconds intection!!!

and i especially love that gihun is not shipped with women 😭😭😭 like in my head, he is a proud bisexual but he almost exclusively dates men bc most wome probably dont like how patethic and submissive he is (couldn't be me but 🤷)

he needs hot younger men so that they can fuck him nasty and sloppy 😌

how do you see dae-ho as a dad with teen girls?? i know they're more emotionally vulnerable then and I wonder how he'd help them as they grow up?

Great question! Thank you for asking!!

Here's my headcanons:

• We established that Dae-ho would treat his little girls as little princess. I see no reason to believe that would change as they got older.

• I think it would be a difficult transition for him to accept that his girls don't rely on him as much as they did when they were younger, but he'd adapt.

• I can see him as a person who really tries to talk through emotions. As his girls begin to have more complex emotions and experiences, they'll feel safe to go to him to talk through what they're feeling.

• With any subjects they might feel awkward approaching him about, Dae-ho can refer to his partner or his sisters for help. They say it takes a village, and he has one.

• He's not afraid to ask his sisters about their teenage experiences when he is struggling to relate to something his girls are going through.

• Hopefully the girls won't have too many problems with relationships. Dae-ho and his partner are a model relationship for their kids, so the girls know green flags from red flags well.

• Dae-ho would set standards for them as well. With how involved he is with his girls' interests, they know not to settle for anyone who gives them less than 100% effort and attention.

• Dae-ho would be incredibly intimidating to any partner his girls brought home too.

• It wouldn't even be on purpose! He'd be kind, because he wants his girls to be happy. Him being an ex-marine and his natural protectiveness over his daughters would scare anyone pursing them to a degree though.

• He'd be so sweet when any of his girls are on their period too.

• If they have snacks or things they frequently crave, he always makes sure to keep them stocked.

• He's patient and understanding about mood swings, and though it pains him, he knows when to give the girls space.

• He's a consistent guy, and he'd be incredibly supportive of all of the girls' interests as they change and grow.

• I could see him being frustrated when they spend a lot of time out of the house with their friends, but ultimately he knows it's a part of growing up. Plus, since he wasn't allowed that freedom as a kid, he wants his girls to have opportunities to socialize.

• Also, very emotional about his girls growing up!! He doesn't want them to leave!! Even as they mature, they'll always be his little girls 🥹

The pink bunny isn't gone, I just had an artist breakdown one night and decided that I could make something funny that took half the time of my regular comics out of pure spite.... And then I ended up loving it so I made 5 more... Then 30 more, currently have a total of 39 comics in this style in the time I would usually draw 3 comics in my other style

So I've decided that I'll keep making these but also make bunny comics for my longer form comics, like Moribund and Dead Eyed Ivy ^^

13. Were the Jedi right or wrong to ban attachments? What constitutes an attachment?

Attachment, as the word is used in Star Wars, is an attempt to translate the Buddhist idea of upadana. I… don't think it's a good one — I would have used rapacity personally — but uh, points for effort I guess. 

More than anything else, it's specifically and explicitly a cause of suffering. 

It's not love, not in any positive connotation of the word. It's coveting. It's greed. It's wanting to possess someone, not caring what their feelings are on the matter. Not letting them go, even if they beg. It's needing the next hit of a drug to function, even if you hate what the drug does to you, hate the person you become under the influence.

@gffa has an excellent post on attachment as we see it in the core lore (movies, TCW, word of god etc) if you want further explanation/examples.

So, back to the original question: are the Jedi right to ban attachments? (An aside: they don't ban it, they're not the church, but we'll ignore that for now.)

The Jedi are magical space wizards, with the power to cause mass destruction. They choose not to, because they've grown up understanding that they must be responsible, and live harmoniously with the world around them. This keeps both them and their society safe(r). 

Do I think people with built-in abilities to raze cities should be controlled by greed and fear? No, actually. I think that's a terrible idea. We had one darksider with Jedi-level powers completely destroy democracy in what was once the Republic after plunging the entire known universe into a years-long war. One. There are 10,000 trained Jedi Knights. 

I don't want to even imagine that universe.

this was suuuuuch a good ask tbh— i thought about it a lot and i think i’m pretty happy with my answers!

Ganondorf- water lily

tbh i thought initially to choose something that fit his personality more, or a type of flower he would like- maybe some kind of flower that thrives in harsh conditions like the crevasses in a rock face. but in the end, i couldn’t say no to the water lily. it’s what inspired his design (along with other similar water plants), and i do think it suits him even tho it may not be his favorite flower personally. he also keeps water lilies in his throne room (in a shallow pool that surrounds the throne itself)!

Zelda- orchid

for Zelda, i wanted to pick something elegant, refined, and feminine. she’s a huge lover of flowers and plants in general, and has a special place in her heart for flowers commonly grown in Hyrule Castle’s gardens, but i think she really enjoys something that’s a little bit more difficult to cultivate as well. actually, the flower design on the bottom of her skirt is kind of reminiscent of an orchid as well- totally unintentional as i was kind of just going for “flower” when i designed it, but i guess it’s a nice coincidence!

Impa- gladiolus

for strength of character, and for honor and protection. straightforward like her personality. when i was looking up reference images, i found a really pretty orange & red colored one that reminded me so much of Impa’s color scheme for her Sheikah cloak as well!

Link- wild clover

quiet and subdued. a weed. something commonly found in nature and covering the ground, rather than a plant that would be grown purposefully in a garden or similar role. basically the opposite of Link, in his role as the Hero and as a being cultivated specifically for grand purpose- but one they identify much more with subconsciously. i think one of the reasons Link would enjoy it so much is because they saw a lot of clover and similar plants while wandering the forests before being brought back to Hyrule Castle. so it’s a familiar kind of enjoyment.

Of course! I love questions—especially when they involve Squid Game, so my inbox is always wide open.

I just watched the teaser (cue me screaming directly into my pillow), but before that chaos, here were my humble hopes:

•Maybe a tease of the final three games? Just a taste? A whisper? A suspicious marble rolling across the floor?

•Some cinematography so painfully gorgeous I can repurpose it in my fan-fiction like the shameless gremlin I am.

•Jun-ho, alive and beautiful, sneaking around the island. (Let him live. Let him breathe.)

•In-ho, brooding in a corner, playing “All By Myself” while the body count rises.

•Gi-hun, mid-existential crisis, murmuring something vaguely poetic about Jung-bae and Young-il—maybe a hint of that reveal. Bestie. You’re not ready. I’m not ready. No one is ready.

•Dae-ho. No reason. I simply want him to exist on my screen again.

So I've seen a number of anons bring up potential Gi-hun pregnant during the second games scenarios, but I think for maximum comedy he should have zero idea he is pregnant and randomly go into labor either during or in between one of the games.

Gi-hun, during the search for the Frontman, slept with "Young-il" nine months before, who claimed he was grieving the death of his wife and unborn child. Really, In-ho wanted to see Gi-hun, and one thing led to another. So when they "run into each other" at the second games, it seems like a massive coincidence.

Gi-hun has been displaying some strange symptoms like nausea and stomach pains and the occasional odd food craving that he has dismissed because of his stubbornness and determination to stop the games. Plus, the thought that he is pregnant just never even occurs to him because he is not showing because he has not eaten much or rested and simply because he believes he is far too old to worry about such things anymore. So when his waters break at the second games, it is a big "what the f*ck" moment for all parties.

I would love to imagine how In-ho reacts, but I have already taken up a lot of space 😂

sometimes he feels some fluttering in his stomach but he just thinks it's something bad he ate, neverming that he never actually eats anything 🙄

i'm trying to think of the funniest moment he could go into labor and it's either as he is about to vote on the games or when they are playing mingle or the pentathlon.

let's say it's during mingle.

they have just crammed ten of themselves into the room and the shaman is yelling like a maniac and inho is staring creepily at gihun and gihun is bent over, clutching his stomach and watching the remaining players be gunned down outside.

his abdomen is cramping and his hips and lower back ache really back but he thinks it's the physical stress of the game and the result of not eating anything while being nauseous all the time. again, pregnancy flies right over his head because he. is. old.

the labour is one of those that is super quick!

gihun is still watching through the door slit when he feels something wet down his legs and he looks down to find his pants are wet.... daeho of course, would ask if he is okay and jungbae would chuckle that he peed his pants but gihun is just horrified and geumja is like "that doens't look like pee 🤨"

and gihun curls up in pain, holding his abdomen and inho is like "are u pregnant? 😟" and gihun says no, that's impossible... except that they had sex nine months. his contractions are worse and everyone is freaking out and the door won't open!!!! and inho feels like he is about to pass out bc what do u mean he's having another kid????

gihun has the baby right in that room, there isn't even time to get anyone out. junhee has a lovely preview of herself within the following month and daeho can't look gihun in the eye bc he's seen ALL of him. jungbae immediately claims to be the baby's fav uncle and geumja is admonishing gihun for not noticing that he is pregnant. of course, hyunju, our queen, held gihun's hand through the whole thing and let him yell at anyone he wanted, particularly inho 🥰

OR - he has the baby during the night while everyone is in the dormitory asleep
