dangan-error § open
Favour wasn't really believing this whole explanation. Kill each other? What kind of opening ceremony was this supposed to be? Nonetheless, he had always had the suspicion that teddies were actually evil. They could have bombs or knives hidden in them, after all. Perhaps this was his conspiracy theory finally coming into effect.
"I-I don't really get this joke... But, uhm, I'll stay quiet in the background for now..."

Dangan-error starter
The air was stale as Kubo's eyes blinked open. It was warmer than how he usually kept his room, and quickly he began to realize that something was wrong. He stood up and looked around, seeing nobody.
Kubo was walking around the school. "Why am I in the school? I don't recall walking here today." He remarked to himself. He went to the library, sat down, and started to read some fiction novels.

Casual Observations [Open]
Considering the volume of students who went in and out of the school cafeteria regularly, the critic decided it would be the ideal place to sit back and quietly judge those students he hadn't yet met, at least for a preliminary review. He set himself up at a little table in the back corner of the room, observing some of the others as they sat and ate together. The thought went through his mind that he might not be particularly bothered if someone were to stop by and chat, but he pushed it aside, promising himself he would deal with such a situation as it arrived, no sooner.

§ the letter
Shakily, Favour took out the letter and looked it over. He was so excited to be hearing from them, but also nervous! People seemed to be expressing distaste at their letters, after all...
His eyes scanned over the contents, quickly at first, then slowly, analysing every word. He stood frozen for a while, before he crumpled up the letter, threw it on the ground and turned, running as fast as he could out of the gymnasium.
The letter read...
Dear our son,
Hello, Fav. Are you enjoying it there so far? Me and your mother, we have something to tell you.
The truth is, we only sent you to this school so we don't have to look after you all the time. It's tiring, and your mother was getting very stressed out by all the hassle you cause all the time. You're always asking for things and asking for us to be around. It's inconsiderate. Anyway, why do you ask for so much? It won't be long until you're gone. It's just a waste of time looking after someone who's going soon anyway. We hope you understand.
From your father

DANGAN-ERROR STARTER
Satoshi stared ahead of him, right where the bear used to be. "W....what?..." He stood there in shock for a few moments. This...wasn't serious, right? These things just didn't happen in real life... He looked around at the other students. Did they know what was going on? T-this just....couldn't be real. Maybe it was a nightmare...A very real, very weird, very awful nightmare. He turned to the person next to him. "This can't actually be happening...right?"

I'm sorry but dinner is canceled...and so's all the food!
"I'm very disappointed that no one's dead yet. I'd assumed that none of you would actually kill over some water, which is why I'll be stepping up my game. From here on out all food kept in the cafeteria and storage room has been removed. No more food will be stocked until a murder occurs. However, whatever food is in the Monomachine will remain there, but I highly doubt any of you can survive off that upupu. I'm curious to see how long you'll last without anything filling to eat."

Wallowing In Doubt (Open RP)
After delivering the note, the Critic made his way back to the dark library and sat in silence. He'd been doing that almost exclusively it seems, since the trial. What sort of critic, he wondered, would make such a terrible mistake? Certainly not a Super High School Level one. Did he even deserve his place here? He began to doubt himself. He began to doubt everything.

Let the Mutual Killing begin!
It is a pretty quiet day within the school. The entire building is still sealed shut but there's been no word from Monobear recently until...
"Attention you bastards! Everyone report to the gymnasium for an extra special assembly!" Came the announcement suddenly.
Curious as to what Monobear wants, you and the other students head off to the gym. When the last person enters Monobear suddenly appears from behind his podium.

"There's been a startling lack of killing going on and that makes me a very bored and very angry bear. So in order to have some fun I've decided to give you all a motive. With me I have an envelope for each of you. Enclosed in these envelopes are letters from your loved ones."
With that Monobear throws all the envelopes into the air. You find yours scattered among the others and open it. Within is a letter from your family. You scan the contents of the letter and your eyes go wide. You look up at Monobear, your face mixed with shock, anger, and confusion.
"Upupupu you're probably questioning whether these are real or not. If you're so desperate to find out then why don't you murder someone and graduate?"

Home Sweet Home
The Sakamoto household was not, as you may expect, a judgmental or critical one. Quite the opposite, in fact, their mother had been supportive of anything her children did. In fact, if it had not been for the young critic, his siblings would have grown up believing they truly had talent in all sorts of silly things. So what if he had "stunted their potential"? It was their fault for not having the drive to improve.
So, frankly, it was perfectly normal that his younger brother would send him such a scathing comment. What wasn't normal was the included photograph. He immediately judged the scene a seven out of ten for psychological torment and gruesome imagery, and tossed it to the floor, quietly walking off.

dangan-error § alibi 01
Favour was in his room for the whole night, lying awake and occasionally sitting up to continue his knitting. He didn't leave his room or even make a sound, and no-one entered.

Satoshi's back thumped against his door. He didn't care to open it or enter. He instead slowly slid down it until he was sitting on the floor. The person he had looked up to and admired...had been a murderer? Had...thought no one had cared about him? He looked down at the comic book in his hands. Something...to remember him by... He set it on the ground, looking away from it.

dangan error starter (open to members of dangan error)
Kubo gripped his stomach and sunk to the ground, laughing uncontrollably. "Perhaps this was worth the waste of my fucking time. Look at all these idiots! God." He stood back up and looked at the some of the faces in the multitude. "Don't tell me some of you are buying this bilge from a shitty little toy?" He pushed up his glasses. "This is the problem with allowing super high school level gimmicks into this school. It should have been just for people with at least a modicum of intelligence."

Welcome to Hope's Peak Academy
It is your first day of becoming a student at the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy. Excited for your new life to begin you step through the front gate when all of a sudden you feel yourself getting dizzy, and the world around you slowly blacks out as you collapse. When you wake up you find yourself in an empty classroom where you take quick notice of the windows, which were bolted shut with steel plates. Suddenly the PA comes online and a strange voice is heard.
"Attention! Attention! All students must report to the gymnasium for a special assembly at once."
Confused and somewhat shaken you decide to listen to the person on the PA and make your way to the gymnasium. Opening the doors you come face to face with several other people all standing around confused. Suddenly a voice comes out of nowhere.
"Good morning you bastards!"
Your eyes travel to the podium from which a black and white stuffed bear emerges.
"I'm Monobear, your headmaster in this wonderful new school life of mutual killing. All I'm gonna tell you right now is that if you wanna graduate and leave this place then you gotta murder someone. Your electronic student IDs which contain your school handbook are in your pockets and can give you more information. Now don't forget to make friends with everyone and I hope we all have an exciting school year together upupupu!"
