Is that [ JASMINE CEPHAS JONES ] that just arrived at Wellington Prep? No, it's just [ CHERRY SPICE HARPER ] walking around campus. [ SHE/HER ] are a [ 23 ] year old [ ELITE MASTER ]. They're a member of [ CULINARY ARTS, NEW DIRECTIONS ] and are currently working towards their [ CULINARY ARTS/MUSIC ] degree. If someone asked about them, you might hear that they're [ CHEERFUL ] but you also might hear they're [ SPOILED ]. Try getting closer to learn more about their love of [ BAKING ]. 

ONE DETAILED HEADCANON: Cherry had her father wrapped around her finger. She got whatever she wanted. Her best friend taught her to be more down to earth, like the southern belles of the golden age. Sweet, but tart, A mix of her smarts and her skills got her marked as Elite.

Owned by the always friendly (and seldom sober) April Rhodes, A Cup-pella is a tiny coffee shop in which the only thing more mismatched than the random assortment of furniture and decor is the clientele. And yet, just like an obscenely pink feathered lampshade somehow manages to work right next to a sensible Chesterfield, April’s regulars have become a family. Some came for a much needed caffeine fix, and others in search of a part-time job. Some treat April’s tiny stage as their own personal trampoline to the Grammys, and others just want to enjoy the show. But whatever their reasons to open that bright yellow door for the first time, the truth is it now feels a bit like home.

A NECESSARY INTRODUCTION

This is Dani Harper. She is 22 years old, currently a Senior at McKinley and her concentration UTP. She is sexuality is UTP, and it is said she looks like Demi Lovato. Lucky for you she is open.

WHO WILL I BE? ITS UP TO ME

Dani has never been close with her parents. They both work long hours and any talk tends to consist of their work, but never about her or what her life goals might be, and often she feels more like a nuisance then their child. Of course it makes her angry, and her outlet for that anger is a roller derby team over in the town next to Lima.

Ever since she was young Dani knew she was attracted to women, but she didn’t act on it until middle school. Her first girlfriend, oddly enough, was one of her teammates from the Titan’s softball team. Everything went great for the few months they were together, until her parents found them in Dani’s basement together and forbid the two from seeing each other.

When McKinley changed into an art school, most of the previous students left, and with new kids coming in it became a bit lonely for Dani. With the new glee clubs forming, and her love of music, she decided the best thing for her was to join one of the club. And choosing the Troubletones were a no brainer.

THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK

Santana Lopez (+/-): Santana and Dani have hooked up before, a few times actually. And while each time they’ve been together is hotter then the rest, Santana still likes to act like it means nothing. Dani doesn’t want love or flowers or whatever, but she doesn’t want to be pulled back into the closet with Santana, or be used when it’s appropriate, either.

Mercedes Jones (+): Dani has noticed how often her Captain’s argue on decisions, and how Mercedes is usually left to a 2-1 vote. In all honesty, Dany tends to agree with Mercedes’ side more, and has no problem standing up for her against Quinn and Santana. It doesn’t mean anything, obviously, but Mercedes appreciates having someone on her side.

Mike Chang (+): Both previous athletes at McKinley, Dani and Mike met early into their freshman year at one of the many parties the jocks threw after a football game. The two got along easily, and often talk and hang out whenever they were in the same area. They’re not best friends, but it’s nice to just have someone to talk to.

Tina Cohen Chang(+): Dani and Tina met through Mike, and while Tina was initially wary of their friendship, once she realized how cool Dani was, those fears fell away. The girls have a humanities class together, and often pair up when given the chance. Dani has tried, and failed, quite a few times at recruiting Tina to join The Troubletones. While Tina is flattered, she was one of the original New Directions members and would feel horrible leaving.

That’s always the hardest question to answer. Right now we have one character officially, which breaks down to one gay, cis man, who happens to be a resident and a Switch. So a Sub or a Dom/me would be cool to add to the mix, and Elliott is gay but I’d love to add some women and non binary babes to the masterlist. I’d name some names but at this point, the whole masterlist is open so it’s a little harder than normal.

😎 CONNECTIONS:

____ ABRAMS:  The two never really paid much attention to each other in high school but met again recently. It always feels better to see familiar faces once you get older, isn’t it? They seem to think so as they naturally struck up a friendship.

____ JONES: What do these two have in common? Terrific voices and artistic sense. They did form a band back in high school but reluctantly decided to disband it after graduation but only agreed to do so if they reform the band one day. Was it just a break or is that project long forgotten?

KATRINA HUMMEL:  Introduced to each other by M_____ Jones, they are more of acquaintances than actual friends.

VERONICA MEEKS: They have become the very best of friends through the years, which first began when ____ Meeks joined ____ Harper’s former band. She still hopes the group will have a reunion someday.

I don't think it would be a matter of resources with Demi but her past struggles may be triggering for someone.

Hi, nonners! I appreciate your concern.

I of course want to be cognizant and respectful of as many people’s personal concerns as possible. That being said, Demi Lovato is an idol, not in spite of her past struggles, but because of them. She has been a vocal proponent of mental health and getting help from the time Disney released her from its claws. I understand why people were hesitant to play her while she was getting help and outside of the public eye, but she’s returned to public life now complete with a really inspiring photo of her in a bikini, unedited, which she called her ‘worst fear’ and posted anyway.

To quote Mercedes from 3x17 - she’s had a hard life. The fact that she’s persevering and continuing to represent the benefits of getting help and getting better is not a reason not to use her face, or at least not in my opinion. It’s a reason to use her face, to emphasize the fact that not being perfect, that being a human who struggles, isn’t something to hide away or be ashamed of. I would hate for anyone to be so deeply uncomfortable for the sake of a Glee roleplay; that being said, Demi Lovato is not a faceclaim I’m willing to change at this time. If you’d like to discuss this further, I’d welcome you approaching off-anonymous.

For those who are current players - if anyone has an issue with Demi being used, please contact me or the main privately so we can figure something out. Player comfort is of the utmost importance, and I would hate to make anyone already in the game uncomfortable.
