i have this offshot theory that lukey is just going to show up randomly at pangi's house on stream on the 8th. cause he mentioned in his moving out stream that after italy, hes going back to the netherlands to hang out with pangi again. idk if thats still the plan cause pangi is acting like hes just gonna lock in after derap leaves but like idk bro could just be straight up lying yk

does it annoy tf out of anyone else that when a character says smthn like: “i’m not in love with [a male character], i was in love with [female character], it took me a while to accept and i’m incredibly scared telling you please don’t tell anyone” people immediately go “ah yes, canon lesbian, i don’t know how u can’t pick up on that”

meanwhile when a character says smthn like: “i’ve tried for years to force myself into a romantic relationship, thought it would ‘fix me’. but i realise now that’s not how it works, a romantic relationship won’t fix me and i honestly don’t think i was attracted to any of the people i tried to date, im going to swear of romantic relationships for life bcz i don’t experience romantic attraction, later guys ily platonically” 99% of the fans go “oh, ok. so they’re probably asexual but it’s definitely up to interpretation. wtf is ‘a romantic’, yeah they’re a romantic; in a romantic relationship with their ‘best friend’ who i ship them with and is basically canon. very homophobic of the author to make them explicitly state that they weren’t into them like that. they must hate gay people despite the rest of the queer characters in here…”

rehashing an old post but i think a lot about how in trying to absolve hunt instead of seriously addressing the power imbalance/impropriety of the relationship between him and the mc, pixelberry chose to make it so it’s the mc “pursuing” hunt and being really forceful about it. in this case, it’d be okay because it’s not him being weird and, well, the mc really, really wants this! this was not an well thought out decision because 1. it doesn’t remove the need to address a professor dating his student, and whatever that means for both parts + the story they’re in, and 2. in the process they make mc a person with no respect for boundaries who quite literally stalks this man and assaults him under false pretences. not to mention how the writing in these quests is confusing and contradictory (the mc is written in two different ways at different times, whatever the plot is in need). just… really bad on all fronts

#i still think they introduced bianca’s blackmail right after mc/hunt get together because they realised they now had #a professor (their most beloved character) dating one his students and that’s not a good look + they didn’t want to address it. and #i’ve always thought they had a hard time condemning hunt. lmao. plus the longer their relationship went on the more… dubious it made hunt’s #character. and this can’t happen. which is why in my opinion the entire plotline happens in the span of two weeks #which is of course bad writing but once again ill thought decision. they get exposed but they keep dating. that’s still a professor dating #his student (who is STILL in his classes for some reason) and the game keeps ignoring it.#you ruined your main character and wrote a really gross questline for nothing #edit. also. if this were in any other app (and not a kids game)#i don't even think they'd need to turn to the camera and say This Is Really Bad. they just had to address it and what it meant for the #story. you can write stories about a multitude of topics and you don't need to categorise things in good and bad. right or wrong.#that's not really compelling. but you need to think about the implications of said topics. which is something pixelberry actively avoided #doing here. sure hunt gets “punished” for dating mc but it's laughable and Nothing Really Happens. plus mc assaults him. can't forget that

dumb phone obsession is back the urge to replace my phone with a flip phone how I've missed you

#currently eyeing the alt mive style folder cause it's got the same look as the infamous Samsung galaxy folder 2 (minus the iridescent-#front </3. but plus a more bulky/thick build to it <3)#also it runs android 12 compared to the folder 2's android 5 that will soon be out of date altogether #also!!!! it's cheap as hell!!! compared to the folder 2 for what it's worth (both around £130~ but the folder 2s price has been inflated #significantly over time. esp the Korean(?) variant with the pure white colour and circular navigation pad)#I mean ig there's also the mode 1 retro 2 (running android 13) but it's just... so fucking ugly #the faux leather and tennis ball stitching on the outside? the CAMERA??? bleh #I always love the addition of a little led screen that tells the time or indicates notifications or whatever #but it just looks bad on it idk #the look works for an older demographic maybe #psii.txt #will rn with pictures later idk why eBay won't let me screenshot properly
