Sometimes I sit and think about how Jeff considers David his "only friend in the world"/the only person who loves him but David was actively making him worse/canonly abandoned him in an asylum for five years. And yet the irony of the whole situation was while David was turning him into a monster, he was the only thing that made Jeff human, and when he died, Jeff lost the only sherd of love/empathy he had left.
