I bet their arms got magnets (the North-South magnets have a strong attraction) so they can attract each other, to call each other and that is why they are together most of the time when they are on screen. I cannot get over how tender Biarra is, making sure Katopesla is on his feet and how Katopesla does not panic knowing it's Biarra got him. He is familiar with Biarra's touch, which could indicate a familiar intimacy they share. I know Katopesla is blushing under that helmet and I know off screen, Katopesla super jumped to kiss his cute head to thank him before coming down.

Even their last moments before being erased, they were at each other's side 🥺 thinking about their universe, how they tried their best (especially against Jiren of all people) and about each other, their presences comforts each other before they go. (At least Universe 3 historians are not in denial so they know Biarra and Katopesla are ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜)

You know, the thing I like about Katopesla is that while he’s presented as kind of a butt monkey, it’s really not because he’s incompetent or a wimp or anything like that; he’s just really out of his league in the Tournament of Power setting.

Katopesla’s poses and mannerisms make him come off as kind of goofy, sure, comes with being a Kamen Rider Parody, but as we see here he’s actually pretty capable of holding his own to some extent even against the likes of Vegeta, one of the most powerful and skilled warriors in the known multiverse. 

Him being able to keep up with Vegeta in super Saiyan state, if not overpower him, suggests that at the least he’s on Ribrianne’s level and a galaxy-busting powerhouse in his own right. Put him up against Krillin or Android 18 or maybe even Piccolo and he’d probably do a pretty good job fighting them.

The problem is, he’s constantly getting in the way of people like Kefla, Android 17 (Who’s almost on par with a super Saiyan blue) and of course, Vegeta here. So he ends up constantly getting his butt kicked, or otherwise is prone to misfortune like being tripped up by Gamisaras.

Katopesla’s someone you end up laughing at because of his eccentricities and constant misfortune, but you also kind of wish he’d get a chance to really give it his all because clearly he’s capable of putting up a good fight. He seemed ready to keep going against Vegeta if he hadn’t been knocked out by an invisible sneak.

I think that and the great design is part of the reason fans find him really endearing for such a minor character.
