Audio Drama Sunday - 5th January ✨

Happy first Audio Drama Sunday of 2025! I feel like I’ve had such a busy week but still squeezed in some time for some top quality audio fiction!! 

🦋 @remnantspod (22) Oh man. There was so much to unpack in that episode. We got a name reveal?! The fact that we know Charlotte kept him trapped due to her obsession with him makes me feel sick when you compare it to the situation with Sir. No wonder Sir tried to stop him from reading that Remnant the whole way through! Can you feel sorry for a murderer? Yes! It’s complicated! But I’m doing it right now! I love this show because the more I’m told, the more questions I have. I feel like we’ve reached a new layer of narrative but there’s a labyrinth on this level too!! 

🎃 Waiting For October by @monkeymanproductions (3) aw, Karo!! Bless them, I can only imagine how hard it is to show off a place you have such deep feelings about to someone who innocently only sees the exciting side of it all. Yvonne was such a sweetheart at the end though. I hope the pair of them can continue to communicate and work towards Karo finding some peace in October! The music and sound design really shone in this episode too! I’m not always a huge fan of songs in audio dramas but who could begrudge the presence of a skeletal Alan-a-Dale??

🌵 @desertskiespodcast (6+7) I really loved both these episodes and I felt we got a closer look at how ride-or-die Mac and Tendy are for each other (even if they don’t know it yet). The accent of our astral projectors reminded me so much of Deb (the sentient patch of haze) from WTNV that I couldn’t help but be immediately fond!
