Nylah snuck out for her first college party, but Brandon was already there. He let her stay, confirming he was the coolest big brother ever, but he made her change out of the short skirt. He approved of her cheerleading outfit because it let the college guys know she was still in high school. Win, win.

It's my favourite time of the year, so I'm back with another challenge! At first, I was planning this to be just a CAS challenge, but then I thought: why not let everyone approach the prompt as they like? Currently playing the Random Decades Legacy Challenge. - (Current Decade: 1950s)

I’ll be playing by the rules of the Random Decades Challenge as per @twentiethcenturysims.

This game will be a little different than my previous decades challenge as the decades will each be one generation rather than a set length of time in-game (e.g. 20 in-game days), so the historical accuracy won’t be there in terms of timing.

Disclaimer: I am a white American (Italian, Armenian, and a mixed bag of other European cultures) but am interested in portraying history from diverse perspectives and decided to play a Decades Challenge game with a family from a different culture after my first Decades Challenge, the Lombardos, which follows an Italian-American family. I noticed that the historical Simblr community would benefit from more diversity. I try to do my research for portraying the past from the point of view of Latine characters in a respectful way. I hope my stories can incorporate diverse perspectives.

Hi! Would you mind if other people did the twenty five days of holiday makeup lookbook challenge you do? (Or maybe just twenty five days of makeup lookbooks because I missed the existence of this until mid December)

Hiya! Nope, I would not mind at all!

I'd love it if others wanted to participate. Although, it's not much of a challenge tbh lol just something I decided to do for fun as my advent calendar activity for December.

Some rules I set for myself are that the collection or palette should be released after Nov. 1st. for variety and not "x-mas" colors only (red, green, white, blue, gold, silver, etc.) Everything else is up to personal preference.

If you want to join it, you are more than welcome to do so! Even set your own rules if you like or tag me if you want, I wouldn't mind. I love seeing others create lookbooks! 😊

how long have you been playing the sims? 

the first actual “sims” game i played was the sims 4, so maybe around 5-6ish years?? but i did have a game called “MySims” or something like that on the DS when i was like 8 if that counts lol

ahh my first post was in december 2018, but i created my blog a few months before that i think. i mostly just created it bc i wanted to find cc but then i saw other people’s gameplay/lookbook/legacy/etc posts and thought “i wanna post too!” so here we are lol 

what type of simblr are you?

90% gameplay, 10% lookbooks/cas things!! i would love to be a story simblr tbh but i lack the skill, imagination, patience, and confidence so there goes that idea haha

Day 12 | December Lookbook Challenge : 60’s retro

Today is the 12th day of the Lookbook Challenge. Today's theme is kinda hard for me, I do quite a lot of research because I don't know a lot about the '60s and I don't even know if this look is historically right 😅. In my research, I saw a lot of the models use something similar to this in the spring/summer, most of the models use a big chunk of a bracelet since I don't have it I change it into big earrings and the clothing has a lot of fun pattern. Also usually, the clothing items have the same/similar color. Base on that, I choose this outfit for today's theme :) and again I don't know if this look is historically right 😂 and I don’t know if this outfit fit the theme 😂

Year 2019 

This year was hard for me. I had much toil and trouble in my personal life, i was sick a lot and in the end of the year I finally gave up and got a sick leave because of burnout and depression and exhaustion. I hope the next year is better :) But here is some things I did in the sims. 

by Month

January was the month or Rethink Beauty Standards Challenge. I liked that challenge much it really was well challenging :) 

February was the month of Sims World Look Book Challenge I made up myself I also liked that a lot. 

March I played Sims 3 and Midnight Challenge. 

April Was the month of Belle and the Beast, starring Narya and Sethius. 

May was the month of Watters, I still miss that family. 

June was the season of mermaids. 

July I announced Mature Love Bachelor thing that I still ahven’t started ? 

August my selfsim was in troubles in Strangerville 

September I explored the mass effect sims with Shepard and Sparatus ♥ 

October was the time I finally picked up the Get Famous story. 

November was also Getr Famous story and I finished it!  What an accomplishment XD 

December was the month of look books as in Vanilla Holiday Lookbook.

And some random info: 

Challenges started: too many 

Challenges finished: not too many, actually maybe just few lookbooks 

Stories started: one

Stories finished: two (yay)

Played Vanilla : 3 times 

Back to CC: 9 times 

Played other games : too less 

Went out to walks: not so often as I should have

Some Things

For those of you sick of my ugly sims I finally have a couple lookbooks in the works! I'm also hoping to get my Golden Girls up for download this weekend as promised so keep your eyes peeled :)

As for my story, I still have a nice few poses left to make for the next part of A Devil Between Us. Given it's now the end of November I'll probably aim to resume after Christmas. It turns out sim-weddings are a lot of work but I'm so excited to finally get Tillie's wedding off the ground. I'm especially eager to show off the beautiful lot that was made for it (shoutout to @aggressivekitty!)

Finally, I'll be doing another lookbook challenge for December, details will be released real soon!
