If you're happy to do a little hurt/comfort drabble - something post MW3's reboot, but with Johnny surviving? With the line "I'm still here, hen", or something along those lines?

Hen is probably my favourite nickname/term of endearment that he would probably use I will not lie - I've yet to see anyone make use of it though!!

Ok ok ok I did get an idea for this and I hope I executed it in only this short drabble (is not 100 words but I don’t know what else to call it) - you wanted to be hurt? Then to be comforted? You got it. And listen- I gotta have some amnesia in there. If Soap if surviving a gunshot wound to the head, bruh probably sat in a coma somewhere until his ass got woken up. My man was in hell fighting the ghouls to claw his way back to consciousness. For who? Simon. Yeah, damn right.

I will also be very honest. Though I don’t write it, or ship it intensely, it’s a cute ship and I’ve got a rubber sword to bat anyone way that doesn’t like it. Come at me, Ghoap is a lovely ship and I love all art and such I see of it (even if I don’t actively do much for it myself yk?)

Fandom: Modern Warfare 3 Reboot

Relationship: Ghost x Soap

Characters: John “Soap” MacTavish, Simon “Ghost” Riley.

Drabble under the cut.

The day John MacTavish had woken up had been hard for Simon. A man he had come to love was stolen away by a bullet.

Even then, when John had come to, calling him Ghost, not some nickname, not his name… he knew then that memories had been stolen, too.

Simon never left his bedside, only unless Price or Gaz were there to take over watch. Simon couldn’t risk anyone coming to finish the job. Not while he tried to help the other recover what he could of the man that had been damaged.

I’d kill anyone who tried to lay a finger on Johnny.

Understatement. Kill wasn’t a harsh enough word, he supposed, not to match the animosity that grew in his chest at the thought of anyone coming to cause more harm.

He could still see the blood on his hands, soaked into his gloves, his sleeves, his-

“You still with me?”

Simon blinked a few times, eyes having glossed over as they hovered in an unblinking stare at his open palms. He clenched his fists, moving his half lidded gaze to the man before him.

“I am.” He replied, voice levelled calmly.

“Good,” John replied, coming to sit next to Simon. Things had been difficult, but slowly, surely, they were getting to a point where things were as they had been. With Simon slowly regaining his Johnny back, even if the memories were still not there fully.

“You were thinkin’ about somethin’.”

“I was. About you.”

John chuckled a little, “you worryin’ again?”

A beat, then a gentle nod.

“You’ve nothin’ to worry about, I’m no goin’ anywhere.”

Simon warily watched the other silently, almost like he was questioning the integrity - a moment of weakness, one could suppose. Weakness that he only ever felt like he could show around John.

John let his hand rest on the back of Simon’s neck, giving it a light squeeze while his other took hold of Simon’s hand and guided to his chest. He placed the hand against his heart, letting Simon feel its strong beat against his palm.

Then, their foreheads rested against each other, eyes closed as they basked in the brief silence they comfortably fell into. Then, after John placed a kiss on Simon’s cheek, he breathed, “I’m still here, hen, I’m no leavin’ you, ever.”

“Good,” was all Simon could breathe in response.

Drabble under the cut

Alex Mason was not one for huge parties with all the trimmings, especially if it was for his birthday; it was always a bunch of people there only for the drink or the food with the ones who actually mattered mixed in. So, to have his family and friends filtered throughout his home, cosy and together, was enough for him. Just those who mattered. In the living room were Jodie and Frank, somehow managing to keep David entertained; yet again, the colouring book he had scribbled all over was the main focus. Alex hovered in the doorway, a bottle of beer in hand, silently watching the three and their antics. David was pointing at all the different parts he'd coloured in, then shoving a crayon in Frank's hand and betting he couldn't colour in the lines. Jodie was sat on the sofa, whereas the other two were on the floor. Alex bet Frank was nigh on seizing up being static in that cross-legged position for so long. As he continued to watch, Jodie caught his eye, and the smile on her features was serene - she nodded furtively to him, mirth in her eyes and he returned the gesture. Then, he moved away and into the kitchen, where Hudson, stoic as ever, stood talking with his wife, Sarah. They were polar opposites. Her animated talk and excitement contrast that of Hudson's quiet, immovable nature, but the man listened to every word Sarah was saying, discussing all manner of things as though they had years of talk they needed to catch up on. Other's of his friends had apparently been invited, but for whatever reason they couldn't attend. That did mean Sarah hadn't fiddled a way for them to have gotten involved for his birthday. Throughout the day, there had been brief calls from Weaver, Aleks, who had urged her husband to at least say something on the phone which culminated in a short gruff wishing him well. Then he'd received a call from his sister, which was longer than the rest, detailing her plan to come see him soon; that sounded nice. Once he had drunk up enough of the scene, Alex went outside. It was warm, bright, and there was birdsong carried through the trees around them. All manner of plants and wildlife and sprung to life. Alex headed towards the edge of the patio, leaning over the fence surrounding it. At his feet, his faithful companion Maximus came lolloping to stand at his side, tongue hung out of the side of his mouth. "Heya boy," Alex said, as his hand rested atop the malamute's head, "pretty nice today, isn't it?" If the dog could speak, he would agree. Then a thought crossed Alex's mind. I never thought there'd be that many people who'd have stuck around.

He was glad for it.

To have friends and family, to have people who cared enough about you.

To be loved.

And once he had thought himself too broken.

"Alex! It's time for your cake, come in here and blow out these candles!" His wife's voice called out. He couldn't help the smile that formed on his face when her head popped out of the door, wide grin on her features and a glow to her face, "you better be quick or else your son is gonna blow 'em out for you!" "Alright, alright," Alex chuckled, "I'm coming." As he entered the door, he saw David begin to take in a deep breath, before his large eyes landed on his Dad and a giggle erupted from his chest. As the little boy laughed, the lit candles were blown out. Alex feigned a gasp, before he began a chase of David, the boy laughing the entire time as he tried to escape his Dad's clutches. Everyone was laughing, everyone was happy. And most of all, Alex never felt more at home and loved.

OC Ask for Jodie: What is her favorite memory? Why is this memory important to her? and

What is her least favorite memory? Why is this moment difficult for her?

Hello Rosie!! I’m so happy to see you in my inbox!! It’s always a pleasure! 💖

As for these questions, I’m excited to answer for Jodie! I will preface that memories for her are something very complicated to face, given that she has 40 years worth of memories lost to the brainwashing Adler did - so she wouldn’t be able to talk about those.

But, let’s not waste any more time!

What is her favourite memory? Why is this memory important to her?

I think her favourite memory would have to be torn between two; the first time she held Ashley as a baby and the day she married Frank. These are two core memories for her and both have their own reasons for being important to her.

With Ashley, Jodie went through a relatively easy birth *physically*, but the mental side of things were extremely difficult for her. Jodie suffered through Postpartum Depression for the first couple months due to how she viewed herself as a monster and Ashley as an innocence she was going to taint. This was especially prevalent in the first week or so after giving birth and Jodie refused to hold her own child. She’d even recoil if the nurse tried to make her hold her.

Anyway, when Jodie finally acknowledged Ashley, when she finally held her, there was a euphoria, a deep seated warmth of affection that started to grow and the protective streak in Jodie, the mother instincts began to surface. She remembers looking at that little baby, so soft to touch, so quiet and gentle, and when Ashley’s small hand wrapped around her forefinger without any judgement, or fear, or any other negative emotion… yeah, Jodie finally just snapped awake emotionally. The innocence that Ashley was, in her arms, was not tainted by being near Jodie, held by Jodie.

It was irrefutable proof that Jodie was not a monster, that the blood on her hands had been washed away and that she was worthy of being blessed with Ashley.

As for the day she married Frank? That was a day that Jodie knew she deserved to loved and she couldn’t imagine spending the rest of her life with any one else!

What is her least favourite memory? Why is this moment difficult for her?

That has to be when Adler and Park revealed that Jodie was not, in fact, Jodie Hall, MI6 Agent, but in fact an agent that worked for Perseus. Everything she knew was a lie, all the memories she had before the safe house were fake. She had 40 years worth of memories deleted and replaced with a manipulative attempt to get her to talk. She lost herself; she lost her sense of self. I don’t think I need to go into detail about *why* this is her least favourite memory. I do cover her initial reaction though in the fic Unknown Soldier, which can be found on my masterlist!

Ooohhh yes n I would like to do this!!

So, Esme Fun Facts:

She has her own rage room. Inside is full of things that she’s found from ruined homes and spaces, old TVs, consoles, furniture, trinkets - you name it, she’s a bit of an explorer and she’s brought all this broken stuff to this room where she can take a bath to it when she feels she needs to rage a little. In the same area, there’s also an engine that she takes apart and puts back together over and over again. If anyone touches it, she will get upset, so she very rarely shows anyone this room. There’s a handful of people that know. She didn’t even tell Keegan about it until their friendship was well and truly concrete and he knows that if she’s had a bad mission that’s where he’ll find her. Even then, she didn’t actually tell him because she wanted to, she had to, because he followed her when he had suspicions about where she was disappearing off to.

She got the nickname “Falcon” because she is perceived as deadly when flying her “bird”. She’s a skilled attack helicopter pilot and has eyes like a hawk.

She and Keegan do have feelings for each other, but between the fighting and the fact that it took him a long time to trust her given she was technically a Fed (against her will), it took them a while to even properly speak or acknowledge each other. By the time they got feelings, Keegan was very much focused on the fight and Esme has a belief that she loses people she loves, one way or another, and so staving off that love for Keegan would keep him alive.

Esme has broken her arm in two places once before and her leg in childhood.

Her favourite flavour is cherry.

Her least favourite flavour is mint.

She was close to her brother before he joined the Feds.

Hello! At this moment in time, I have both Klaus "Shaker" Newman and Stephanie "Seraph" Miller currently retired for a short while as I rework them; however, once I have them sorted, I would be more than happy for you to add either one of them to the list! I just don't want to disappoint you by saying yes now and then them not being actively used ;u; I should have probably made that clear on his about tbh, so that's my fault! Like I say, they're not retired forever, just... for a short while. I'm having to rework a lot of stuff regarding both the shadows I have AND I will be adding (possibly) two more Shadows.

About the message that I sent about Koa’s dog, Pono. I’m also going to share this with the others as well who had the Bell OC by the way! So they can get to know the protective doggy!

I could imagined that if Pono meet with Jodie for the first time. He would be very cautious from her. As he could smell some like a bad vibes out of this woman.

But once seeing his master was really friendly with her. He believes and trusted him. So he wouldn’t growl at her but is still being cautious.

When Pono had confirmed that she’s not as bad as he thinks (After a few missions with Vasili). He would let her pet him and give him a belly rubs (his FAVORITE by the way).

You could imagined that whenever Koa and Pono goes out on mission with Jodie. He will let Pono stay with her so he could help and protect her.

And if you’re wondering about what would happened AFTER Adler had dealt with Jodie.

Pono would growled so very low and ears pinned back while seeing Adler enter the scene. He could smell Jodie’s scent from him. Which it caught Koa’s attention. And that’ll be the part when Koa had told the team that he quit.

Yeeeeaaah. I changed my mind. I’m letting Koa taking Pono in the Black Ops: Cold War.

Soooooo….how will Jodie react meeting with Pono from the first time vs the last time?

UGH I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO ANSWER THIS FOR AGES but I could never find the right time nor the right amount of energy to give it the answer it deserved, and I didn't want to half arse it yk?

However, to answer this now, Jodie loves dogs, for starters. She'll not go feral over every one she sees like I do (I must pet the doggo when I sees the doggo ok) but she does love them.

So, upon a first meeting with Pono, I imagine that he can probably smell the amount of drugs Adler and Park were plying her with, I wonder if that was the bad vibes - he can most definitely tell that there is more to the new face than what Adler is letting on, anyway. Jodie would kneel, one knee to the floor, the other up with her hand rested on it, while her free hand was cautiously reaching. She lets Pono sniff the back of her hand, getting her scent, deciding whether he wants to say hello.

Jodie is not forceful or pushy, Pono is his own person in her eyes, he deserves space and respect, like anyone would. I can't say she wouldn't be disappointed he didn't allow her to fuss him straight away, but she's a stranger and he's also a working hound. He protects his handler, Koa, and she can respect that he's doing his job.

She is elated, though, when Koa's friendly attitude prompts the same from Pono. She'd be the one who be sneaking him treats, letting him finish off her cup of coffee every once in a while as another treat. She'd let him lay on her bed and give him extra good scratches behind the ears and the best belly rubs of his life. She would practically dote on the dog like it was a child, not going to lie to you XD

This is behaviours that are very "out-of-character" for Jodie in her Safe House days, as most of the time there she's very stoic, stays quiet and to herself to do her work, only ever really speaks when spoken to; unless you've made a friend out of her, then she would be more talkative, but she's a reserved kind of woman, her emotions are not easily noticed. So to have her explode into this unbridled happiness with the dog, everyone is kinda like "what drug is she on and can I have it".

As for when on mission, she'd try to tell Koa that she really doesn't need protection, that Pono should stay with him, that he's his protector. But when a stray enemy almost takes her out, only for Pono to attack and save her life, she later thanks Koa and apologises for questioning his judgment.

NOW FOR THE SAD PART.

I would like to think that after the months of dealing with the truth and eventually finding herself settled into the CIA and no longer "Bell", Jodie would have the chance to meet with Koa and Pono again as she does come to see him as a good friend of hers she could have relied on in the Safe House. Of course, when she finds out the truth, she goes apeshit, she punches Adler, she's just very generally angry about the whole thing (can you blame her) and then obviously doesn't know who to believe or trust.

Point being, Koa leaving at that point isn't something that she's focused on, she focused on the feeling in her chest, the anger that is burning hotly through her veins. She's just pissed off and wants to get Solovetsky over and done with.

So she probably wouldn't even say goodbye to Koa.

Pono might come to the door of her room, catch her seated on the edge of her cot, trot in cautiously to see what's going on. His ears might perk up at the sound of soft sniffles coming from the woman, but her back is to him. Eventually, Pono is in front of her. She wiped her tears, put one hand on top of his head and mutter, "look after him, there's a good boy."

Then she'd rise to her feet to go slink away in the furthest and darkest corner of the Safe House, getting ready for Solovetsky, alone and out of sight of anyone who might question why there's tear tracks down her face.

Only Pono knows, and now he's leaving.

UGH GONNA MAKE MESELF CRY, MAN 😭

Arcades, pinball machines, taking advantage of the beautiful nostalgia and some friendly competition! your oc will probably get a lot of info drops on random trivia, and have a sugary (hopefully) good time! 🩷

One of her first dates with Frank is exactly this, so if you were to take her out on a date like this, with that friendly competition, showing her the best arcade games to play, then a sweet treat along with it all, she'd have an absolute blast. Woman, pointed her cigarette at him with a disgusted look on him: You better grow up to be something GREAT to make up the damage you’ve done.

Casper, tearing up: I will……

[starts measuring the woman's height and width]

Woman: what are you doing?

me: I just like to be accurate when digging graves.
