soooo i decided to challenge myself and design every warrior cat because it’s a right of passage atp. thought it could be fun and help diversify my designs while giving some meals for people’s underrated background favs lol. it’ll be tagged with #design every wc if you wanna mute it, though i don’t think it’ll cause any spam since i’m ungodly slow at drawing in general lmfao and. hopefully this’ll help my consistency. we’ll see how long i keep this up place your bets now.

The autism post: TANGLED THE SERIES X WARRIOR CATS AU (SUNCLAN AU)

Yes, I drew most of the characters as cats because I'm obsessed with warrior cats AUs : 3

SUNCLAN AU 

(I didn’t name everyone so you can all choose the names, I just enjoy making warriors AU so if you wanna hear my yapping be welcomed :333) 

> Basically the plot is similar, but cats. I kinda scratched the magic aspect of the movie and made Goldenpetal (Rapunzel) a prophecy cat chosen by Starclan that was stolen by Gothel (Sunclan’s former med cat that was exiled). Goldenpetal grew up as a kittypet and was kept inside her house by Gothel who told her stories of bloodthirsty clan cats or rogues. Golden had dreams about starry cats telling her to leave the twoleg place and with help of a loner named Flint (later Flintheart) she found Sunclan. 

> I like to think that Sunclan is kinda different from canon clans. Most tom-cats are guards protecting the clan (the guards have matching golden leaves in their fur ;3). She-cats can’t fight, and are more of a gatherers, making the clan look pretty or caring for injured cats (they all have med-cats training). Kestrelwing hates that wholeheartedly. 

> The trash thugs live in a nearby dumpster. They’re mostly harmless > w < 

> Monarchy. Sunclan loves monarchy. 

> Vervainpaw wants to become a medicine cat (which is kinda frowned upon). He’s interested in herbs and finding the new properties of them, which ends pretty badly most of the time. (IT’S MEDICINE, NOT MAGIC!!!!) 

> Sharppaw and Redpaw were abandoned by their parents and welcomed in Sunclan :’’3 Dad Strongclaw <3 (I think their warrior names would be Redsnap and Sharpclaw) 

> The Brotherhood come from the forgotten Moonclan that guarded the moonstone before breaking up. Everyone has a raven’s wing in their fur.  

> The Baron’s group is kinda like Bloodclan - they all have the iconic tooth-collars >;3. EVIL KITTIES. 

> Zhan Tiri is a dark forest cat (sorry i forgot to draw her) mentoring Kestrelwing. 

> Kestrelmoon covers herself in mud and thinks she’s cool (she’s not). She stole Goldenpetal’s nine lives ceremony at the moonstone or something.

> I don’t know much about vat7k, I just really wanted to draw those characters as cats :’’3 

That’s all that I came up with!!!! If you have other ideas I WOULD LOOVEEE TO HEAR THEM.

Crow & Night fam (plus Ashfoot 🕊️)

Names:

- Breezeheart: I just thought it sounded nice. Plus I think -heart fits him, especially after his uhhh "redemption" arc in Crowfeather's SE. I'd say his name was originally Breezepelt, but after the DF battle Onestar changed it to Breezeheart to give Breezy a new start or something.

- Heathergaze: Heathertail is not only a boring name, it would make more sense for her to be named after her eyes I think, since they're a blue-ish heather (though I made them more lavender in my design idk if that's how you're supposed to draw them or not).

- Bristlewing: I thought it sounded nicer. She is technically molted canonically, so Brindle makes sense, but I like Bristle as a prefix so.

- Applebranch: Twigbranch cannot be the only cat with -branch as a suffix (don't point it out if I'm wrong about this). Although -shine is a pretty suffix, I thought -branch should get some love. Plus the name actually makes sense unlike Twigbranch. At first I was going to do Sandshine, but tbh I didn't really like that name. Applestem I think could work too though :3

- Flutterwind: Flutterfoot is a very funny name to me, so I wanted to keep it. But Flutterwind came to me & I like that name more. I can imagine they're given this name bc they're like a feather fluttering in the wind, lightweight and pretty chill and calming to be around. Look at me, giving complete background characters personalities!

Headcanons: (since I didn't really change the designs from canon too much)

- Ashfoot lied about the father of her kits! She said it was Deadfoot because she didn't want to admit to having kits with a loner. Kind of like a Mapleshade situation, besides the fact Deadfoot kind of adopts Crowfeather as his son, in Starclan obviously, just to protect Ashfoot & such. The reason this lie was believed so easily is bc Crowfeather looks almost exactly like Deadfoot, lol.

- Crowfeather is non-binary in this. It doesn't change much of anything besides him feeling even more isolated from his clanmates. (He/They pronouns, but he mostly uses he :p)

- Nightcloud put a pair of leaves behind her ear to remember Leafpool (in this Au type thing they would've been friends after Nightcloud realized she couldn't hate Leafpool anymore. So she thought she'd make it up to Leafpool by being her friend.)

- This doesn't change much at all, but I wanted Flutterwind to be a she-cat. This totally isn't because I thought she was a she-cat pft...noooo. Anyway, her and Applebranch are in a very loving relationship! They took in two kittens that were given to Windclan by a passing Kittypet. Peace and love ✌️

- Woodsong loves singing! Sometimes she even finds reeds and blows through them to create some tunes ❤️

I headcanon she looks a bit like Yellowfang and Brokenstar (snub-nosed, stocky, small ears, broad head), so it's somewhat more believable that cats suspected she was Brokenkit’s mother. And it’s another reason why Raggedpelt tolerated her clinginess and affection.

I don't think I've ever seen this much hype around just the BLURB of a new wc arc before, all these cool predictions/ideas are exciting!! I can't wait for us all to be inevitably disappointed when moonpaw is a gray cat with blue eyes playing the role of sad anxious medicine cat #4 and the voice haunting her is actually ashfur (back from th water) and its her mission to go find the moonBush and in order to do that we have to go through 400 pages of walking to the tribe

REWRITTEN WARRIOR CATS FAMILY TREE LET'S GO!!

So...we all know the...issues...with the canonical tree right? The first cousin parings, the ridiculous age gaps (Pinestar and Leopardfoot, *cough cough*), the "super couple" of every few generation who has a bunch of kids who then have more kids and then they ruin the diversity, and, my favorite, inserted horrible retcons that completely decimate the canon dynamics and relationships, especially when they do so without thinking and the new team takes it as gospel and just shoves them in there.

We all know that the hunters don't care that much about their books, and produce them on the cheap, so they never made an official tree.

BUT I DID.

BECAUSE I LOVE CHARACTER DYNAMICS AND RELATIONSHIPS, NO MATTER ROMANTIC OR PLATONIC. AND LET ME TELL YOU, THERE'S PLENTY OF THAT GOOD STUFF IN HERE.

*slaps* This badboy can fit so many unhealthy and unconventional family dynamics.

This is the full Thunderclan family tree, going back all the way to near the end of Pinestar's choice all the way up to the end of the broken code! (ASC isn't counted because it's not finished yet.) Most of this is either my own headcannons, taken from the books, or inspired off of users like Bonefall or The-Owl-Tree! (Both of whom are awesome by the way, definitely go check them out!)

Since I didn't label who any of the cats are on the completed tree, I'm also providing a paper version/draft featuring every character and their name! Both are the same with the same cats, the only difference is that some of the smaller trees on the paper version were moved around on the digital! (And also Princess's tree was made separate from the whole Firefam tree because there wasn't enough room).
