Small update!! RPG maker is taking some getting used to, but I finally got somewhere today!! I was having a lot of trouble with tilesets and making sure everything looked alright, but managed to figure it out today :)
This isn't how the official will look, I think for this prologue bit I am going to make it into a demo to test the things I need to test (and see if there are things that need improvement!!)
Also if anyone knows how to make the game itself bigger that would be great cause it's ridiculously tiny...

COVID and then Pneumonia got Hex last month so dev slowed down. And by 'slowed' I do of course mean "I'm not making Hex work on the site while they have effluviate goo in them making their life hell."
That said - little to show this month. Sorry about that, y'all. But you at last deserved to know, yeah?

been slowly working on the next chapters for {gone to the dogs} and {return the favor}. even been working on a little one shot for {by the grit of sandpaper} and the first chapter of {black hole sun} while on my prolonged bedrest
i didn't anticipate taking time off work but two days doesn't seem like enough now...i will be going back to work tomorrow though and most likely working a straight week to make up hours. tooth pain is serious, this whole ordeal has seriously knocked me on my ass. if you have any, please see a dentist and get treatment started, don't let it get worse. granted my dental health was impacted greatly by my chemo

Drops of Death
As you may know, Drops of Death has been gaining popularity across our social media accounts, and it's exciting to see the response we’ve received just from the small bits we’ve shared about the project. The game is still in its early stages, but what we can tell you right now is we are currently working on writing Singh’s route, which is nearly complete. Singh is the detective who is working to find the killer, but ironically, this man could very well be the killer himself.

She is also working on some of the CGs for the game, including this creepy doll that Adrien receives in the mail as a threatening “gift.” Spooky, right?

Eleanor is working her magic to create the sprites and CGs for Drops of Death. We can’t spoil much more right now in terms of CGs, but trust us when we say there’s a good mix of chilling scenes AND romantic ones.

Choose your pronouns and play as Adrien, who could have been the victim of a gruesome murder, but has luckily escaped with their life. But now, our MC has to tread with caution, because someone around them is very likely the killer. 
Love’s Crescendo

While we work on DoD, we have also made steady progress on Love’s Crescendo, our rhythm game visual novel. We recently shared this new clip of the game, showcasing a scene not revealed in the demo.
Kristi (@husbandogoddess ) is very skilled when it comes to making lively, animated scenes for our games, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The camera movement and snow falling really help paint the picture of Valerie and Cadence’s love for one another.

The scripting has been completed, and now we’ve been turning our focus to some of the UI designs, including the CG gallery’s layout. These were the list of concepts we zeroed in on, and the team seemed to like the bottom row of gallery ideas the best!

At long, long last, the Wishbone Summer Year 1 Public Beta is COMPLETE! Download it here!
For those who haven't been following the project: Wishbone is a character drama-slash-farming sim game that takes place in a wild west-inspired setting. The player takes the role of a farmer, fresh off the wagon in a new town and tasked with building a successful ranch. The town of Wishbone might seem sleepy and mundane--albeit full of weirdos--at first, but there’s trouble brewing on the horizon: a fierce, prolonged standoff between the lawmen and the outlaws that will decide the fate of the town itself.
The Summer Year 1 beta represents a complete vertical slice of the first 25% of the final game. It contains around 10-20 hours of playtime, depending on how thorough you are.
