【Kaoru】 Of course sometimes we talk about stupid things, that's nothing special. We must always maintain equal relationships so that all can communicate with each other. But everyone has that personality, so it'll be a little bit… it's gonna be hard (laugh). Well, we all had different periods. Even so, we're still five people, spending time together in each other's lives. I still think we have to be aware of each other and move forward. Well, all I can say is that it's a pleasure to be in a band with them. *(一緒にやってくれてよかったなと思って)

【Shinya】 A balance of not being too deep and not being too shallow relationships with the members would be great, wouldn't it? Maybe during the periods when we were together for a long time, it was a little bit awkward, like a decade or so ago. Now it's just right.

【Toshiya】 I think it is necessary to consciously maintain a certain distance.  Considering this, it should be the most natural feeling now. Although we have been together all along, we have not had unnecessary conversations.  Of course, human beings communicate with each other through conversations, but at the same time, they get unnecessary information. Personally, if my work and private life are mixed together, I gradually feel like I'm misunderstanding something, and I don't like that. As for the connection between us, when (everyone said)  "Okay, let's go!"  (before the live show), there’s a very strong cohesion.  I feel that way.

【Die】 I am often asked, "Do the members have a good relationship?" "After all this time, you've become like family members, right?" It’s *troublesome to answer. *(めんどくさい / mendokusai) The time we spend together may be longer than that of family members, so do we have a good relationship? Or a bad relationship? It has nothing to do with that. We're beyond that. There are many things that only the five of us have been through together, and that is the connection between us. We've been through all kinds of things in the band, happy things, going overseas for the first time, getting frustrated.  We've been through a lot together. We all hit the wall together, rushed forward together, and then hit the wall again. Precisely because the five of us have experienced many things together, this kind of relationship can only be understood by the five of us.  It has nothing to do with whether we have a good relationship with each other, nor are we family or friends. In DIR EN GREY, there are some things about our relationship that only the five of us can understand.

【Kyo】 I guess I like these guys. *(人間が好きなんじゃないですかね) There's something to honor in everyone, and I often think that they're amazing. Maybe even if we didn't form a band, but just meeting and getting to know each other on ordinary occasions, we'd still be friends.  At least I'd do that. It's just that we're connected through music now, even though we don't talk a lot... Yeah. I guess it's because they all deserve respect.

* I don’t watch baseball so I’m not so sure about this whole conversation, but I know Die is a huge GIANTS fan while Kaoru is at Hanshin’s side, and people in Osaka often jump into the Dotonbori river when celebrating something big (new year, winning the olympic games..) so Die is talking as if the Hanshin would surely win the game (or winning over the GIANTS? idk..)

- If the GIANTS were to change the manager, who would that be? I think Abe Shinnosuke…? but the atmosphere would be…

- The whole world is destroyed: If everything and everyone dissapear all at once then I’m not scared

- Won’t you dye your hair red again? or would you dye it blue? Frankly, during the pandemic when I could not see anyone, I’ve made a mistake and dyed my hair blue. It didn’t suit me at all, to the point that it gets creepy. So I cover it with red dye right on the next day.

- What’s your favourite colour other than red? BLACK&WHITE (he used english here)

- Any recommendations lately? Prison’s book of rules

- Favourite type of meat for Yakiniku (grilled meat)? high-quality outside skirt steak, thick-sliced beef tongue, beef organs

- What would you say if Kyo send you a picture of him standing on top of the mountain that he’s just climbed? The Zoom meeting has already started

- Favourite GIANTS player? It’s hard to choose one, but I’d say Kuwasa Masumi, he lived near my house back in Osaka, and used to be my hero when I was in PL Academy

- Your luggages always seem heavy, which item is the heaviest of them all? Dyson airwrap styler, hair dryer, hair iron, hair oil, hair cream, hair treatment spray… most of the items that added weight to my luggage are hair related

This is a Shinya's post that later on could be better illustrated with a picture, so there ya go a scan from an old fan site (ooh it's on!!). It's an incident that happened to him while on tour 😅

10月5日、朝いつものように迎えの時間の1時間前に起きて、寝ぼけながらシャワーに入った。

洗顔してる時に「何か右まぶたが痛がゆいなぁ。」と思ったが、寝ぼけてたので気にしなかった。

そして、シャワーから出てコンタクトレンズを入れようと鏡を見ると

蚊にさされたのか、右目がお岩さんになってました。

焦ってキンカンをまぶたにぬると右目がヒリヒリして大変でした。

そして、そのまま会場に行き、いつまでたっても腫れがひかないのでID-JAPANに眼帯を作ってもらいました。

リハーサルで付けてみると片目なのでドラムが叩きにくかったので小さな穴をいっぱいあけてもらいました。

するとチクチクして痛かったです。

野音までに治るかな。

Hi🙂 I have a question. A documentary about diru after 20 years has been available on YouTube for a long time. "Documental of dir en gray 20 years" Could someone make subtitles? is there a translation for it? do You know anything about it? It's great to look at them and listen to them, but it would be even better to know what they say🤔

I can't remember anybody translating it all, and I'm not good for spoken Japanese most of the time. It's funny to see them react to them watching their older footage though!

Okay, to be exact, what I've bought since August. 😄 Because that's when I decided to start over my physical media collection. (I lost all my old CD's / concert DVD's. 😿) I'm first focusing on stuff I can buy new, before I need to start relying on second-hand market.

About DEG

Coming back to diru properly this year has been a wonderful experience. DIR EN GREY was the band I listened to the most in my teenage years and early adulthood. Then I drifted away from them. Life got busy. Also, back then I was always afraid of them disbanding. I liked them so much, and couldn't bear the idea, so I created emotional distance. Nothing came to claim their place in my heart while I was away.

I started listening to Phalaris and DAMN. When Uroboros came out it was so good I cried. Phalaris mesmerized me much the same. From there I started to do catching up!

Last summer I started to search what tumblr has to offer, and seeing photos of them after a long break was just... ☺️ such a warm feeling. Also, the vibe I get from the band is somehow more positive. They are on social media! O_O It's quite different from the old days and hearing them mostly on interviews, sounding somewhat uncomfortable.

About B-T

2024 has been spent also falling deeper and deeper in love with BUCK-TICK. I started by just listening to their music. Watching lives/PV's/interviews came later, in 2024. I've had so much fun! 😹 But it also intensified the grief I felt about missing out all these years. Last summer I was cycling long distances through countryside, and happened to find an abandoned playground by a pond. With no-one around, I ended up spending way too long on a merry-go-round while listening to 80's BUCK-TICK. Maybe it was the abandoned retro milieu, but for some reason it just hit me really hard that I was really alone with my B-T enthusiasm. After that I started to check out tumblr, and created this blog in October. Now it's no longer a lonely fan experience. 😊 Just seeing other people loving the same music and caring about the band, it warms my heart. ❤

On some level I had assumed that the enthusiasm I once felt for music/bands was at least partially because of youth. I thought it might be different now, but no. 😄 It feels exactly the same. I'm just more chill, and in terms with the fact that these bands cannot outlive me. I must enjoy them NOW. 👍

Title taken from a Japanese expression which supposedly came from a comment that Natsume Soseki made during a lecture, it's a very subtle way of telling someone you love them, with 月(tsuki/moon) sounding similar to 好き(suki/like).

I feel it describes Bernardo's pining for Gian perfectly. xD Thus I made this playlist extra emo for that particular reason xD

1. LUNA SEA - LOVELESS

I listen to a bit of Luna Sea and I really like the dreamy quality to their songs. This song may be called 'loveless' but it sounds so full of love xD I have a soft spot for songs that have a certain melancholy to them and this is no exception.

2. Laufey - From the Start (The First Take)

I told my Mom I like jazz, so she recommended this to me knowing I would like it xD Laufey's style is very reminiscent of 1930s songs that play in those old black-and-white movies, and I think she's great for wanting to get the younger generation to appreciate older-sounding songs.

The First Take is this Japanese YouTube channel that invites artists to perform a song in 'one take', hence their channel name. I find myself listening to their takes a lot when I want to hear something 'live' but without audience fanfare.

3. Neon Genesis Evangelion OST - Fly Me to the Moon

My favorite version of Fly Me to the Moon, sung by Claire Littley with orchestral arrangement by Toshiyuki Omori. I often argue with Mom that this version is much better than the Sinatra one xD But that's because she grew up liking Sinatra and I like Evangelion xD

I personally like this bossa nova style take better, the Sinatra version and original Bart Howard version sound too lively to me that I'm not used to it. If ever I have kids, I'm definitely going to argue with them about music. xD 20 more years and Diru and the GazettE will be considered grandpa/grandma bands xD

4. BEASTARS OST - President of Academy

Composed by Satoru Kosaki, BEASTARS in my opinion has a very underrated OST, this one is one of my favorites, I like to call it 'sensual jazz', it's music that Bernie can play when he invites Gian to his room to relax and to get freaky.

At least it isn't Jodeci…that's the Bucci Gang's theme xD I normally don't like R&B and listened to this song for the memes but now it unironically sounds good to me. :D

5. Yakuza 0/Kiwami OST - New Serena

What is it with Yakuza and amazing unreleased music xD I love the calm, familiar feeling this song gives. Serena has been a staple of Kiryu's life for so long, it feels like home in a way.

You could play this song during the scene where Bernardo takes Gian to one of his shops for drinks and believe me it fits perfectly.

6. Yakuza 0 OST - Cabaret GRAND

This song makes me feel classy and rich xD When I think of Bernardo, I think of jazz. I could totally see Bernardo going to the Grand since he's the kind of person who likes the best quality of things. He's a quality over quantity kind of guy, which makes him picky, but to me being picky is not necessarily a bad thing. I feel that him wanting the finest of things shows how much he values life, his dream even is to leave behind a lasting legacy of his, he clutches on to life real tight if you ask me.

7. Transistor OST - She Shines

Bonus track made for the Apple TV version of Transistor, sung and composed by the very talented team of Ashley Barrett and Darren Korb. Ashley's voice is atmospheric and dreamy, and lends itself perfectly to Korb's compositions. 2:22~3:08 is my favorite part, her harmonization is heavenly. I really enjoyed just listening to her hum in Transistor as the voice of Red.

8. Shigi - Kagayaita

ED12 to the anime Gintama. Underrated. The vocals and instrumentation are so beautiful. The lyrics as well are full of soul. It gives a feeling of having the courage and will to keep pushing on, of wanting to 'shine' in darkness.

I feel it fits Gian and Bernardo's story so well, Bernardo is canonically nyctophobic and claustrophobic, to me he sees Gian as the guiding 'light' in his life.

9. the GazettE - Redo

I love picking all the lesser-known songs of bands that I like and putting them in playlists. This one is great for walking in the rain and twirling your umbrella :D

Knowing the context of this scene, it's so cool that Redo's lyrics fit so well xD To Bernie and Nastasha *cough* not Bernie and Gian thank god I would had a heart attack otherwise

10. the GazettE - Cassis

I make a playlist about the guy who's been pining for years and no way I'm not including this song xD If I had to pick just one favorite ballad song of the GazettE, it would definitely be Cassis. It's the definitive GazettE love song for me, and I never get tired of listening to it.

Just listen to the last verse of Cassis with this scene and you'd cry too with how well it fits QQ Have some crème de cassis even and cry in style xD

lol loads. at one point in life like... fifteen years ago, most things i wrote were co-written with a friend. and i've done it a couple of times after that too. i really like co-op stuff tbh but haven't found people to collab with lately.

right now i would sell my soul for nivannedy. might already have.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

ehhhh at this moment i doubt i'll ever finish anything. maybe the lifeguard au? i was red-hot for the idea at first but then it kinda... fizzled out. kept changing. got ruined by pushy ppl lol. but maybe i'll get back to it one day bc i would love a nivannedy summer romance tbh.

depends very heavily on the context. in general i do think it should be all in one language for readability but there are exceptions. i've done it too lol but it was only like a line or two in finnish :'D

1.O God, O ultimate object of needs!

وَيَا مَنْ عِنْدَه نَيْلُ الطَّلِبَاتِ

wa yaa man i'ndahoo nay-lut'-t'alibaat

2.O He through whom requests are attained!

وَيَا مَنْ لا يَبِيْعُ نِعَمَهُ بالأثْمَانِ

wa yaa mal-laa yabeeu' nia'mahoo bil-ath-maan

3.O He whose favours are not bought by prices!

وَيَا مَنْ لا يُكَدِّرُ عَطَايَاهُ بِالامْتِنَانِ

6.O He toward whom desire is ever directed and never turned away!

7.O He whose treasuries cannot be exhausted by demands!

10.O He who is not distressed by the supplications of the supplicators!

تَمَدَّحْتَ بِالْغَنَاءِ عَنْ خَلْقِكَ وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْغِنَى عَنْهُمْ

tamad-dah'-ta bil-ghanaaa-i a'n khal-qik wa anta ah-lul-ghinaa a'n-hum-

11.You hast lauded Yourself for having no need for Your creatures, and it suits You to have no need for them,

وَنَسَبْتَهُمْ إلَى الفَقْرِ وَهُمْ أَهْلُ الْفَقْرِ إلَيْكَ.

wa nasab-tahum ilaal-faq-r wa hum ah-lul-faq-ri ilay-k

12.and You hast attributed to them poverty, and it suits them to be poor toward You.

فَمَنْ حَاوَلَ سَدَّ خَلَّتِهِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ

faman h'aawala sad-da khal-latihee min i'ndik

13.So he who strives to remedy his lack through what is with You

وَرَامَ صَرْفَ الْفَقْر عَنْ نَفْسِهِ بِكَ فَقَدْ طَلَبَ حَاجَتَهُ

wa raama s'ar-fal-faq-ri a'n-naf-sihee bik faqad t'alaba h'aajatahoo

14.and wishes to turn poverty away from himself through You has sought his need

فِي مَظَانِّها وَأَتَى طَلِبَتَهُ مِنْ وَجْهِهَا

fee? maz'aaan-nihaa wa ataa t'ilabatahoo miw-waj-hihaa

15.in the most likely place and come to his request from the right quarter.

وَمَنْ تَوَجَّهَ بِحَاجَتِهِ إلَى أَحَد مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ جَعَلَهُ سَبَبَ نُجْحِهَا

wa man tawj-jaha bih'aajatiheee ilaaa ah'adim-min khal-qika aw jaa'lahoo sababa nuj-h'ihaa

16.But he who turns in his need toward one of Your creatures or assigns the cause of its being granted

دُونَكَ فَقَدْ تَعَرَّضَ لِلْحِرْمَانِ

doonaka faqad t-taa'r-raz''a lil-h'ir-maan

17.to other than You, has exposed himself to deprivation

وَاسْتَحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَوْتَ الاِحْسَانِ

was-tah'aq-qa min i'ndika faw-tal-ih'-saan

18.and deserves to miss Your beneficence.

أللَّهُمَّ وَلِي إلَيْكَ حَاجَةٌ قَـدْ قَصَّرَ عَنْهَـا جُهْدِي

al-laahum-ma wa leee ilay-ka h'aajah qad qas'-s'ara a'n-haa juh-dee

19.O God, I have a need of You: my exertion has fallen short of it

وَتَقَطَّعَتْ دُونَهَا حِيَلِي

wa taqat'-t'aa't d-doonahaa h'eealee

20.and my stratagems have been cut back before reaching it.

وَسَوَّلَتْ لِيْ نَفْسِي رَف��عَهَا إلَى مَنْ يَرْفَعُ حَوَائِجَهُ إلَيْكَ

wa saw-walat lee naf-see raf-a'haaa ilaa may-yar-fau' h'awaaa-ijahooo ilay-ka

21.My soul induced me to present it to him who presents his needs to You

وَلاَ يَسْتَغْنِي فِي طَلِبَاتِهِ عَنْكَ

wa laa yas-tagh-nee fee t'alibaatihee a'nka

22.and can do nothing without You in his requests,

وَهِيَ زَلَّةٌ مِنْ زَلَلِ الْخَاطِئِينَ

23.but this is one the slips of the offenders,

وَعَثْرَةٌ مِنْ عَثَراتِ الْمُذْنِبِينَ

wa a'th-ratum-min a'tharaatil-mud'-nibeen

24.one of the stumbles of the sinners!

ثُمَّ انْتَبَهْتُ بِتَذْكِيرِكَ لِي مِنْ غَفْلَتِي

thum-ma antabah-tu bitad'-keerika lee min ghaf-latee

25.Then through Your reminding me, I was aroused from my heedlessness,

وَنَهَضْتُ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ مِنْ زَلَّتِي

wa nahaz''-tu bitaw-feeqika min zal-ltee

26.through Your giving success, I stood up from my slip,

وَ رَجَعتُ وَنَكَصْتُ بِتَسْـدِيدِكَ عَنْ عَثْـرَتِي

wa rajaa'-tu wa nakas'-tu bitas-deedika a'n a'th-ratee

27.and through Your pointing the way, I returned and withdrew from my stumble.

وَقُلْتُ: سُبْحَانَ رَبّي كَيْفَ يَسْأَلُ مُحْتَاجٌ مُحْتَاجـاً

wa qul-tu: sub-h'aana rab-bee kay-fa yas-alu muh'-taajum-muh'-taajaa?

28.I said: Glory be to my Lord! How can the needy ask from the needy?

وَأَنَّى يَرْغَبُ مُعْدِمٌ إلَى مُعْدِم؟

wa an-naa yarghabu mua'-dimun ilaa mua'-dimin?

29.How can the destitute beseech the destitute?

فَقَصَدْتُكَ يا إلهِي بِالرَّغْبَةِ

faqas'at-tuka yaaa ilaahee bir-ragh-bah

30.So I went straight to You, my God, in beseeching,

وَأَوْفَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ رَجَائِي بِالثِّقَةِ بِكَ

wa aw-fat-tu a'lay-ka rajaaa-ee bith-thiqati bik

31.and I sent You my hope with trust in You.

��َعَلِمْتُ أَنَّ كَثِيرَ مَا أَسْأَلُكَ يَسِيرٌ فِي وُجْدِكَ

wa a'lim-tu an-na katheera maaa as-aluka yaseerun fee wuj-dik

32.I came to know that the many I request from You are few before Your wealth,

وَأَنَّ خَطِيرَ مَا أَسْتَوْهِبُكَ حَقِيرٌ فِيْ وُسْعِكَ

wa an-na khat'eera maaa as-taw-hibuka h'aqeerun fee wus-i'k

33.the weighty I ask from You is vile before Your plenty;

وَأَنَّ كَرَمَكَ لاَ يَضِيقُ عَنْ سُؤَال أحَد

wa an-na karamaka laa yaz''eequ a'n soo-aali ah'ad

34.Your generosity is not constrained by anyone's asking,

وَأَنَّ يَدَكَ بِالْعَطايا أَعْلَى مِنْ كُلِّ يَد.

wa an-na yadaka bil-a't'aayaaa aa'-laa min kul-li yad

35.Your hand is higher in bestowing gifts than every hand!

أللَهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ وَاحْمِلْنِي بِكَرَمِكَ عَلَى التَّفَضُّلِ

al-laahum-ma fas'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih wa ah'-mil-nee bikaramika a'laat-tafaz''-z''ul

36.O God, so bless Muhammad and His Household, take me through their generosity to Your gratuitous bounty

وَلاَ تَحْمِلْنِي بِعَدْلِكَ عَلَى الاسْتِحْقَاقِ

wa laa tah'-mil-nee bia'd-lika a'laalis-tih'-qaaq

37.And take me not through Your justice to what I deserve!

فَما أَنَا بِأَوَّلِ رَاغِبِ رَغِبَ إلَيْكَ فَأَعْطَيْتَهُ وَهُوَ يَسْتَحِقُّ الْمَنْعَ

famaaa ana biw-wali raaghibir-raghiba ilay-ka faaa'-t'ay-tahoo wa huwa yas-tah'iq-qul-man-a'-

38.I am not the first beseecher to beseech You and You bestowed upon him while he deserved withholding,

وَلاَ بِأَوَّلِ سَائِل سَأَلَكَ فَأَفْضَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يَسْتَوْجِبُ الْحِرْمَانَ.

wa laa biw-wali saaa-ilin saalaka faaf-z''al-ta a'lay-hee wa huwa yas-taw-jibul-h'ir-maan

39.nor am I the first to ask from You and You wast bounteous toward him while he merited deprivation.

أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ

al-laahum-ma s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih

40.O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household,

وَكُنْ لِدُعَائِي مُجِيباً وَمِنْ نِدائِي قَرِيباً

wa kul-lidua'aa-ee mujeebaa wa min-nidaaa-ee qareebaa

41.respond to my supplication, come near my call,

وَلِتَضَرُّعِي رَاحِماً وَلِصَوْتِي سَامِعاً

wa litaz''ar-rue'e raah'imaa wa lis'aw-tee saamia'a

42.have mercy on my pleading, listen to my voice,

وَلاَ تَقْطَعْ رَجَائِي عَنْكَ وَلا تَبُتَّ سَبَبِي مِنْكَ

wa laa taq-t'aa' rajaaa-ee a'nk wa laa tabut-ta sababee mink

43.cut not short my hope for You, sever not my thread to You,

wa laa tuwaj-jih-nee fee h'aajatee hd'ihee waghay-rihaaa ilaa siwaak

44.turn not my face in this my need, and other needs, away from You,

وَتَوَلَّنِي بِنُجْحِ طَلِبَتِي وَقَضاءِ حَاجَتِي

wa tawal-lanee binuj-hee t'alibatee wa qaz''aaa-i h'aajatee

45.attend for my sake to the fulfillment of my request, the granting of my need,

وَنَيْلِ سُؤْلِي قَبْلَ زَوَالِي عَنْ مَوْقِفِي هَذَا

wa nay-li soo-lee qab-la zawaalee a'm-maw-qifee had'aa

46.and the attainment of what I have asked before I leave this place

بِتَيسِيرِكَ لِيَ الْعَسِيْرَ وَحُسْنِ تَقْدِيرِكَ لِي فِي جَمِيعِ الأُمُورِ.

bitay-seerika leeal-a'seer wa h'us-ni taq-deerika lee fee jameei'l-umoor

47.through Your making easy for me the difficult and Your excellent ordainment for me in all affairs!

وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ صَلاَةً دَائِمَةً نَامِيَةً لاَ انْقِطَاعَ لأِبَدِهَا

wa s'al-li a'laa muh'am-madiw-wa aaalih s'alaatan daaa-imatan-naameeah laa anqit'aaa' liabadihaa

48.Bless Muhammad and his Household with a permanent, ever-growing blessing, whose perpetuity has no cutting off

وَلا مُنْتَهَى لأِمَدِهَا وَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ عَوْناً لِيْ وَسَبَباً لِنَجَاحِ طَلِبَتِي إنَّكَ وَاسِعٌ كَرِيْمٌ.

wa laa muntahaa liamadihaa waj-a'l d'alika a'w-nal-lee wa sababal-linajaahee t'alibatee in-naka waasiu'n kareem

49.and whose term knows no limit, and make that a help to me and a cause for the granting of my request! You art Boundless, Generous!

first of let me just say this: i am crap at making maps. I literally just googled "literal translation of countries' names" and went from there. i also just grab a photo-to-linear converter on google and then made nessisarly changes to make it workable (because converting a photo of a colored drawing to linear creates messy results), plus a few misspelling here and there. but I'm happy with the results, cause now i really got a frame of references for when i start making more exclusive fauna and potentially stories.

anyways, as a copy planet of earth, it's not just the flora, fauna and biomes that are near-identical to us, but also the continents as well, even there's an "old world" and "new world". however, when it comes to countries, that's where it ends, because they have different names than ours (and different-looking countries).

but, before I go listing off countries, i should probably talk about language first:

so, because I lack some creativity, the elkinets do speak "common human" (aka human languages). common human, contrary to what one may believe, is not specific to humans; it's called "common human" because it's the most commonly spoken languages among humans, and has been developed independently by other sophonts across the omniverse.

some of the most common and predominate of the common human throughout the planet include: -English -spanish -Korean -Russian -Chinese -Hindi -Japanese -French -Italian -German -Arabic -Greek

however, their original language is known as "true elkinish", which has nouns, pronouns and adjectives in Latin and the rest in greek. here's how it works and sounds (example text taken from Butte collage):

anyways, as a copy planet of earth, it's not just the flora, fauna and biomes that are near-identical to us, but also the continents as well, even there's an "old world" and "new world". however, when it comes to countries, that's where it ends, because they have different names than ours (and different-looking countries).

but, before I go listing off countries, i should probably talk about language first:

so, because I lack some creativity, the elkinets do speak "common human" (aka human languages). common human, contrary to what one may believe, is not specific to humans; it's called "common human" because it's the most commonly spoken languages among humans, and has been developed independently by other sophonts across the omniverse.

some of the most common and predominate of the common human throughout the planet include: -English -spanish -Korean -Russian -Chinese -Hindi -Japanese -French -Italian -German -Arabic -Greek

however, their original language is known as "true elkinish", which has nouns, pronouns and adjectives in Latin and the rest in greek. here's how it works and sounds (example text taken from Butte collage):

true elkinish (greek & latin): O puer pue efere ego poly longo littera apomagister, kai meta puella grigora. O thee! if this is too complicated, that's ok. most humans (and other earthfolk that come here) usually learn the Latin parts. most countries speak common human (which correlates to where they live, ie Chinese in center kingdom), however true elkinish is still taught and spoken throughout the planet. most developing countries/indigenous tribes still use this original language as their primary language.

а я, блядь, тоже отвечу, над чем я работаю, я , как полагается нормальным творческим распездалам, до сих пор рассказы на других языках на сайт не добавил. Ну, типа, они, конечно, если на всяких ноблах и амазонах, но в одном месте чтобы все было - не было. Ну и вот сейчас привожу файлы в порядок (помните, я спрашивал, нужно ли делать содержание в файлах? Дак вот я тогда все привел в порядок, и у меня диск полетел. Вы спросите, почему я в облако не добавил, технологии же, а я вам скажу, что я добавил. Но технологии-то жопорукие! У меня ни синхронизированный блокнот ваннота ни сохранился, ни файлы в облаке), добавляю на сайт. Так что скоро можно будет все-все-все, включая дурацкие переводы (есть у меня такие) найти в одном месте, на сайте. Ну или ссылки на них (у меня есть переводы, когда люди хотели их продавать только на одном ресурсе). Вооот. Эта та самая организационная работа, которую я ненавижу и которой не должен заниматься писатель.
