I haven’t attended a festival outside of being an artist in over a few years now and, I won’t lie, my anxiety was a little high before showing up on the @downloadfest grounds today. I was taken by surprise on how quickly I felt comfortable and safe due to the atmosphere. I got to discovered so many new bands that I would have otherwise never have experienced if @richardshawguitarist didn’t drag me out. (Seriously, I was writing lyrics that suddenly came to me while watching the bands!) My highlight of the entire day was seeing @officialjonathandavis debut his new solo album. I was also caught off guard and bursted into tears when he started to perform “Forsaken” from the Queen of The Damned Soundtrack which is one of my all time favourite albums. I seriously thought I’d never get to see that song performed live! I’m overwhelmed with grateful that I finally got to experience this legendary festival and get to perform here with @cradleoffilth at noon on Sunday! #dl2018 (at Download Festival)
