I have technically already answered this here, but since I have tons of favourite Italian words, you get another! Specifically, arzigogolato, which means convoluted, especially when talking about a thought process (e.g. un piano arzigogolato, a convoluted plan). I really love that the word itself looks and sounds convoluted (especially when you write it in cursive!), I love the double go sound and the rz pair at the beginning, and I love that it makes me think of another nice Italian word, gomitolo (= ball of thread/yarn). It's just so needlessly dramatic and I adore it.

Oh boy. I have tons of favourite English words, but most can't properly be translated in Italian, lol. I really love English pet names, more than I like Italian pet names, as a rule! My favourite is darling, which I guess could be approximated with 'caro/a' (lit. dear) or tesoro (lit. treasure). Neither of those are quite as gentle, though.

Oooh, a fun one! I'm not sure I have a favourite proverb (there's TONS of Italian proverbs and they're all pretty good), but one I say often is 'Dio dà il pane a chi non ha i denti', lit. 'God gives bread to those without teeth [to eat it]'. It's the sort of thing you say when you witness somebody who has an abundance of something that you need but doesn't want it/can't enjoy it, if that makes sense? It's a complaint about the fact that sometimes life is unfair and things go to the people that don't need them. Technically speaking there's also a secular version that simply states 'chi ha il pane non ha i denti', 'those who have bread have no teeth', but I like invoking the name of God at random to complain about my life.

Double Face's adventures in my hometown!!!

I went home for the holiday and, since my wife had just gotten me Madara and Kohaku nuis, I decided to bring the boys along! It was quite the trip because we were also traveling with one of our cats, soooo why not document the highlights?

Part 1: On the Road!

Here we goooooooo!!!!!! We had breakfast at Sheetz - a classic road trip stop for quick eats - and then made our way north. I've made the trip so many times, but tbh taking cute pics along the way made it new in a way~

Part 2: Fun with Friends

We were very kindly hosted by dear friends in their new home!!! They bought a house earlier this year and this was my first time getting to see it, and it was just really lovely to be together ;w; We played a very fun game of Cards Against Humanity (and included our cat, because Lumos is great at CAH, I swear) before going to get dinner- and of course, pumpkin pie :D

Look, sometimes you just need a hot sandwich from Eat 'n' Park for the holiday to be complete. AND IT WAS JUST AS GOOD AND NOSTALGIC AS I REMEMBERED!!!!!!

ALSO I was deeply jealous of our friends' road sign!! I have one that Pat and I found on the side of the road in Pittsburgh like a decade ago, but the Squirrel Hill tunnel is GOALS!!!!!!!!!! We had to go get pizza from a place around the corner from their house before I tried to steal their sign XD

And I had to stop the boys from gambling their life savings away, I guess~ Nothing says home like random shitty pseudo-gambling in a family restaurant ✌

Part 3: The Mall

We had to swing by the Monroeville Mall- and no, not because of the zombies or anything. It's my childhood mall and I wanted to see how it was doing. Some of my favorite stores are still there, some are gone, but it's still the same mall I grew up going to!!! And it was nice to just wander around the mall with friends :D

Part 4: The Return!

We left Pittsburgh kinda late, so we ended up driving pretty much straight home with minimal stops. There was snow at one of the rest stops in Pennsylvania though, and that was awesome :D

All in all, it was a wonderful trip visiting family and friends, with the added fun of making everyone stop so I could take pictures of my nuis everywhere XD I wouldn't change it for anything~

turned quickly to resentment and was contacted by someone in konni's inner circle with the typical 'aren't you tired of being nice. don't you want to go apeshit' and joined soon after. part of the team that extracted makarov from vought confinement

abilities: flight (peak human lung capacity, aerial adaptation), metal manipulation (matter surfing, metal constructs, platform manipulation), enhanced condition (strength, reflexes, stamina, senses)

flight is it’s own ability and classified as pure gravity defiance - jason is essentially choosing at all times when to be affected by gravitational pull, which allows him to fly but also hover and walk on vertical surfaces just as easily as the ground. he’s capable of carrying anything within his capacity while in flight but they remain affected by gravity

maximum speed of flight clocks in at around 700 mph, subsonic. he’s unable to break the sound barrier but is faster than commercial jets

to withstand the effects of his flight, jason has an increased lung capacity, able to hold his breath for 30 minutes as high as the troposphere, and vastly decreased incriments past that - with the highest he can fly being the edge of the stratosphere with 1 minute of lung capacity

his body further adapts to high and low air pressure passively, allowing him to stay conscious and unharmed as long as he can still breathe. he’s also immune to the effects of g-force when under his own gravity defiance

The hero pulls double duty as the Brave Prince and The Clever Underdog Sheperd Boy, the dragon litteraly gets defeated through the power of music and joy which sounds like something more out of a cartoon less out of a folktale but here we are I guess. And the aforementioned bread crumbs are barely featured in the story. They're false advertising(in more than one sense).

50. Have you ever seen someone die?

Technically seen the death? No. But uh I was once stuck in traffic because the buss in front of the one I was in hit someone. I have an old sketch book from middleschool and I remember the exact page I drew on that day while waiting for the bus to move. And I remember how I wondered wether or not I should be more upset about what happened? Cos I sort of wasn't. Idk, I try not to dwell on the topic of death, but this was still really memorable.

60.Have you ever fallen asleep at work/school?

This isn't me bragging bcs that'd be stupid but I was sort of... known as someone who just naps any chance she gets and in usually sort of odd places back in highschool(god that;s weird to say- back in hs. holy god) . One time I managed to sleep away gym in the changing room without the teacher even noticing I was absent. Some motherfucker in my class took a picture of me curled up under a jacket though and messaged it to my older sister and she kinda made fun of/ gave me shit for it. So uh. Yea. Not my proudest achievement (it wasn't even a good nap smh).

62. Have you ever felt an earthquake?

Yea lmao a few months ago I was litteraly just chillin in bed when suddenly everything shuddered a bit. And then I just went on with my day????? xD It felt sort of like when someone shakes you awake. Now obviously it caused plenty of damage at the epicenter and I'm not trying to make light of that but yea. That was like. A moment in my life.

92. Have you ever been told you’re hot by a complete stranger?

Nope. But!!! I never told this to anyone because a) no one would believe me b)it would sound like bragging and I cannot handle being made fun of in the slightest, but. This one time when I was..... 16-17-iiiish? a modeling scout attempted to stop me in the street but as soon as she uttered the word 'model' I instantly nop'd the fuck away. Partially because I am a nervous wreck and I did not feel like stuttering through a guaranteed awkward conversation with a complete stranger in the middle of a crowded street(oh god...), and partially because I simply did not want anything to do with that shit.

the un-named unfinished golden pair fic i have sitting my drafts is a fucking banger. I’ve carried it in my heart since 2019, if i ever get around to finishing it,,, its OVER y’all

it’s not published …but i used verses from subtle love for the title of my TK fic…which i may or may not post anonymously on ao3….someday….

3. How do you get inspiration to write?

i come up with an idea and i replay it in my mind about a handful of times before my hands start itching for the keyboard because i have to immortalize it for myself somehow
