Kimiko and Bruno's relationship in a nutshell.

(Thank you so much for the support for this ship it really means so much guys💖💘)

On the surface, Kimiko and Bruno have a pretty balanced relationship. A bit of hopeless romantic action going on, but the love they have for one another is quite intense and passionate. Their bond fuels them and motivates both of their hearts greatly. Increasing internal strength, resolve and hope for the future. Both willing to lay down their lives for the other, in order to protect themselves and what they've built. The connection provides them both with a sense of peace, something away from the world beyond their walls. A safe haven. This is something they both desperately needed/craved considering the corrupt cruel world that they live in. But they find that peace, that private solace within each other. Bruno was never given a chance to slow down. Living his life in survival mode and enduring hardships all alone, that no young person would be prepared for. Carrying the weight of so many years of decisions that he couldn't take back or make right, despite his best efforts. Haunting him deep down. As for Kimiko, she drifted through life with no real purpose or understanding of what it meant to truly live. Shunned from those around her, leaving her lonely and afraid in a world that she doesn't understand. One that would prey on her innocence and inexperience, just to leave her to die. One moving rapidly, growing up far too quickly. And the other moving too slow, inching along like a corpse. Everything about who they are as people is the exact opposite,(even narrative foils I dare say) but also exactly what they both need to become more balanced, happier individuals. Bruno has his team, has his goals, has his desires. But underneath that, is something that no one could reach or touch for many years until Kimiko came along.. (this also happened to him similarly when he first met Giorno) something revived and ignited both Kimiko and Bruno when they first met. Like they could finally breathe for the first time in a very long time. They were safe.

Moving on to more deeper layers. Kimiko is extremely dog coded when it comes to her relationship/bond with Bruno. Her extreme loyalty and devotion is a staple of their relationship and she follows him without question. Ever. She pretty much complies with everything he says, but not in a doormat type of way. More like it's her duty and purpose, to be his shield. By being this way Kimiko believes that she's protecting Bruno and their bond undoubtedly. Which puts her into incredibly dangerous situations and fights that she absolutely CAN. NOT. HANDLE. This really stresses Bruno.

Some may say that her behavior seems cute, always by his side, happy to just follow him around, come running to his every beck and call. Tbh they work really well together in their personal and professional life and their relationship just flows well in general. But when threats are involved it's a different story. At the first sign of a threat, or anything Kimiko perceives as a threat that's when things get.. complicated. Doing anything possible to protect Bruno first, above anything else. Though Bruno displays these protective traits as well, he doesn't lose himself in it like Kimiko does.

This behavior brings some uncomfortable difficulties into their relationship.. of course no relationship is perfect.. and their darker parts sometimes cause trouble.

Deep down, this is a double edged sword for Bruno. A part of him is afraid of that much devotion coming from one person and the uncomfortable power it gives him. It's almost smothering in a way. He would never misuse it, but it is uncomfortable for him. On the other hand half of him actually sees the beauty in it/reciprocates it.. to have some be so... dedicated.. to him without asking for it. Something he hasn't had before, at least to that extent. But Kimiko's loyalty is blind, and he sometimes enables it.

However, despite all of that they have learned to balance out both their light and dark. And are extremely mindful to avoid falling into any self-made vices or bad habits. Mainly focusing on the good times, both enjoying and cherishing calm days where they get to walk around town, talking, trying different restaurants, and simply just exist in each other's presence without worry. Kimiko's childlike nature really makes Bruno feel a simple, carefree, freedom that he didn't get to experience as a child himself. It's a fresh breath away from his responsibilities for awhile. While Kimiko gets to experience a calm peace and stability. Overall loving and supporting each other through challenges. Keeping their relationship light and free as a bird flying over the open ocean~!! 🩵💙🕊️

In the midst of a family gathering, König found himself enveloped in the warmth of the moment. Laughter echoed through the room and the smell of home-cooked meals wafted in the air. Amidst the chatter, he caught sight of you, standing alongside your twin sister.

The resemblance between you and your sister was uncanny, so much so that even your parents occasionally struggled to distinguish between the two of you. It was a familial quirk that had given rise to countless moments of confusion and amusement.

As König approached, a smile played on his lips, and he greeted you, "Hey, enjoying the family gathering?"

You reciprocated the smile, acknowledging the joyous atmosphere. However, before she could delve into the conversation, König continued.

"So, I was thinking," he began, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief, "what kind of ring would y/n like?"

You blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback by the unexpected question. "Wait, a ring? Are we talking about what I'd like for dinner or—"

König interrupted, a puzzled expression crossing his features. "Y/N??? OH- uh…. shit… you know uh… ONION RINGS. How would you like it"

Realization dawned upon you as you exchanged glances with your sister, who wore an equally perplexed expression since she was standing not so far away from you. It became evident that König had mistaken your twin for you.

A playful smirk danced on your lips as you decided to play along. "Hmm, an onion ring, you say? Well, I've always had a soft spot for sapphires. What do you think?"

König furrowed his brow, attempting to make sense of the situation. "Sapphires? I thought we were talking about onion rings. Is this some kind of inside joke?"

You chuckled, your sister joining in. "Oh, König, you asked the wrong twin. But don't worry, it happens all the time. Maybe next time, double-check the face before discussing jewelry preferences."

He scratched his head, a bemused smile forming on his lips. "Twins, huh? You two make it a real challenge." the three of you started laughing

In the midst of a family gathering, Simon found himself caught in the chaos that was the reunion of the extended family of yours. Laughter echoed through the air and Simon felt like this was his family.

Simon's eyes sought ts/n. Ts/n, was never far away. Your shared genetics were truly remarkable, making it a perpetual challenge for even your parents to discover between you.

Simon, determined to make a thoughtful gesture, approached the woman he believed to be ts/n. Your faces were so indistinguishable that he often found himself relying on contextual clues.

"Hey" Simon began, a warm smile gracing his features as he sidled up to who he thought was Ts/n. "I was thinking about what y/n might like. Any preferences on the type of ring she'd want?"

Confusion danced in your eyes as you processed his unexpected question. "Wait, are you asking me about a ring?"

Simon, equally perplexed, nodded earnestly. "Of course. I've been contemplating getting her something special, and I thought a ring would be perfect."

A perplexed expression crossed your face, and you couldn't help but chuckle. "Simon, are you sure you're talking to the right twin here?"

Simon's eyes widened, realization dawning on him. He glanced between you and Ts/n, who was now observing the exchange with an amused twinkle in her eyes. The uncanny resemblance between the two of you had led him astray.

"I.. uh…. so… I apologize. I got a bit mixed up," Simon admitted sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "Thought I was talking to my girlfriend’s twin. Not with the actual girlfriend… fuck…."

John MacTavish

John MacTavish, known to most as Soap, found himself in the midst of a familial gathering, a world quite distant from his usual battlefield. The air was thick with laughter and familial warmth, a stark contrast to the cold reality he faced in his line of duty. Yet, here he was, determined to immerse himself in a semblance of normalcy, even if only for a fleeting moment.

John, holding a bouquet of flowers he had picked up on the way to the gathering, approached what he thought was you. His heart raced, not from the intensity of a mission, but from the nervous anticipation of presenting you with a small token of affection.

"Hey, love" he began, his Scottish accent adding a touch of warmth to the words. "These are for you."

Ts/n turned towards him, a mirrored smile on her face, though her eyes held a glint of amusement. "Wrong person, buddy," she replied, her tone with humor.

John's brow furrowed in confusion as he realized his mistake. The flowers, meant for you, had found themselves in the possession of your twin sister. He stammered, caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events.

Ts/n couldn't help but chuckle at the mix-up, her laughter intertwining with the ambient joy of the gathering. "Don't worry, it happens all the time. Just don’t let it happen with another woman johnny"

Embarrassment painted John's features, but Ts/n took the flowers with good humor. She turned towards you, who observed the scene with an amused glint in your eyes.

You, the intended recipient, couldn't resist teasing John a little further. "Well Johnny, looks like you'll have to try that again with the right twin."

Ts/n's eyes widened subtly, realizing the gravity of the situation. She managed a subtle nod, offering encouraging words, her acting skills proving useful in this unexpected scenario. Meanwhile, you overheard snippets of the conversation, curious but not entirely aware of the context.

John continued to interact with Ts/n, unaware of the subtle shifts in your expression. It wasn't until he excused himself momentarily, leaving you alone with your sister, that the pieces fell into place.

"You know, I think he's planning to propose," Ts/n casually mentioned, her eyes twinkling mischievously.

You blinked, caught off guard. "Wait, what? Propose? Are you sure he was not talking about someone else?"

In the living room, Kyle found himself involved in a conversation with you, or so he believed. "You've got this way of making everything seem more interesting," he remarked, his eyes reflecting a mix of admiration and something more elusive.

You, however, maintained an amused silence, sipping your drink as you observed the unfolding confusion. The dim light played tricks on perception, casting shadows that seemed to blur the lines between you and your identical twin sister, Ts/n. Making it looks like your twin sister was you. You however were on the toilet.

As the conversation meandered through various topics, Kyle, oblivious to the subtle nuances of your features, began to feel an inexplicable connection growing stronger.

A warmth crept into his eyes, and the once casual conversation took a turn towards a more intimate trajectory. The air became charged with unspoken tension, and he found himself leaning in, his gaze fixed on what he believed were your eyes.

"Dude, hold on" Ts/n interrupted abruptly, a confused expression playing on her features. Kyle, caught off guard, froze in his tracks, mere inches away from an unintended intimacy.

His eyes widened with realization, embarrassment etched across his face. "Y/N, I'm so sorry. I thought—"

"Dude, you were about to kiss me" Ts/n interjected, laughter dancing in her eyes. "I'm Ts/n, not Y/N. You might want to reevaluate your moves."

The room seemed to hold its breath as Kyle's embarrassment deepened, and he stammered out an apology, desperately trying to salvage the situation.

As Kyle fumbled through his apologies, Ts/n couldn't contain her laughter any longer. "Easy there, Garrick. Mistakes happen, but next time, make sure you're locking lips with the right twin."

Rain Black comes from a wealthy family, but her life took a dark turn when her parents died in a car accident. She and her older brother Ryen were then taken in by their uncle, a man who not only raised them, but also trained their Quirks and subjected them to rigorous military training. From an early age, the siblings learned to hold their own in battle, develop strategies and survive in a world that was not intended for them.

But over the years, their uncle's true nature was revealed. When Rain was old enough, he planned to force her into marriage in order to further expand his own power. those who love the ship probably do so for two main reasons: tragic doomed romance and two super messed up angels talking shit out. I'm certain there's gonna be debates on whether this ruins Gabe's queercoding (despite the fact that all angels are genderless and Silypheus specifically chose her pronouns as a direct affront to the council), and others might not like it bc it doesn't fit the vibes of the game normally, too fluffy and sappy for them and that's OK, Gabe just needs someone to vent to and will tell him to stop caring about the damn council all the time and that's what matters :)

I love Bayverse Raph! I think he’s such a sweetheart underneath that gruff exterior. There are days when I latch on hard to various versions of Donnie and Leo, but I always seem to come back to Raph when it’s all said and done 💘

With Animal I Have Become, I think of his temper that he has trouble controlling. And his fear of hurting others because of it. Like it’s a monster he can’t control and constantly battles with internally.

Till I Collapse makes me think of his relentlessness in fights, his determination, and his refusal to stop/back down. Particularly when his family and friends’ lives are on the line.

Famous Last Words, I think, captures his defiance and resilience, particularly when hurt or cornered. His refusal to show weakness, pushing through pain, declaring to survive no matter what. But also a double-edge, which is his tendency to push others away, especially when he’s feeling emotional.

Leave Out All the Rest is probably my favorite song of the bunch, so I’ll go on about this one a bit little longer than the others. Anyway, this song makes me think of Raph in general—how he projects immense physical strength and a tough, aggressive attitude. But underneath lies deep insecurity, vulnerability, and a fear of not being good enough. Like his insecurity/rivalry with Leo. How Raph thinks Splinter’s favorite is Leo and how Raph feels he will never match up to his older brother. In terms of his temper and emotions, he explodes often and regrets it. He doesn’t like hurting the ones he cares about. And he would rather be remembered/thought of positively, despite his mistakes and his anger.

Finally, I feel like State of My Head reflects those moments where his thoughts are racing, his frustration is boiling over, and he feels completely consumed by the madness of his own temper. The ‘pressure’ part of the lyrics makes me think of the pressure he feels to control said temper, particularly from his brothers (especially Leo) and Splinter. And then there’s the part about running. It captures his impulsive nature when agitated. His first instinct typically is to remove himself from the situation, either by storming off or reacting immediately and forcefully.
