My second submission for Haunting Heroes' Guess That Artist game. This is my "if DPxDC were BotW while not, in fact, being a zelda game, exactly".

Here are a couple of other outfits:

The Atlanteans aren't exactly the Zora, but they're not not the Zora.

Danny in full Yeti gear with a shield he found in a field and an ice blade from the Yetis.

World building details beneath the cut

Details are in bullet points because I'm still working on various details

Maddie and Jack are Ancient Sheikah tech researchers (more like Jerrin than Purah or Robbie; they aren't Sheikah themselves, but Vlad is)

The shrines are portals/rifts to the Spirit Realm; every region has a few but they went inactive a while back (but recently became active again while still locked)

They became inactive because a demon king is sealed in the Spirit Realm; supposedly, heroes guarding the rifts disappeared to close the portal form the other side, locking themselves in the Spirit Realm with no way back

How to open the portals is a closely guarded secret and no one knows how to do it anymore exactly, but they know it involves ceremonial garments

Danny figures out how to open the one his parents are researching by accident and stumbles into the Spirit Realm

The general plot revolves around going back and forth between the Mortal Realm and the Spirit Realm, finding heroes of yore and the heroes who stepped up to replace them and figuring out how to stop the demon king from returning

Demon King is Pariah, BTW, and the ones trying to revive him are the League of Assassins

Gotham is a city in the Spirit Realm

This is gonna be a demon twins au

The Fentons live close to the Lost Woods/kokiri forest; they found Danny sitting on the shrine just outside the woods because "he was too old to stay with the kokiri anymore". They said "it's free baby" and took him in. He doesn't remember much from that time

Only someone born in the spirit realm can open the rifts. Danny finds out the fun way that he was born there (mid game boss fight ig)

Part of the game play revolves around catching ghosts and returning them to the Spirit Realm...but you can also release them during fights or puzzle solving or adventuring to produce certain effects

Basically, you work with the teen titans/young justice/etc in the Mortal realm and you work with the justice league in the spirit realm, but you also have to catch ghosts, and most importantly of all, collect outfits

Idk what the conclusion is but I'll probably write this someday

This au is inspired by botw, totk, oot, tp, mm, and other Zelda stories, but it's really a LoZ flavored story and not a LoZ crossover, so I'm not sure there's going to be a Zelda or a Link or a Ganon

I'll add more to this someday but I'll call the au Heroes of the Realm au if you want to find the tag later

Hmmmmmm... Lately I've been feeling like I maybe want to join a Danny Phantom Discord server...? Maybe a DPxDC server...? The hyperfixation has me and I would like more people to talk to about it and bounce ideas of off... >.< But I dunno... Are there any Discord servers out there that hold a particular affection for Vlad...? I just feel a bit starved for Danny Phantom fan content with high levels of novelty right now and don't really know what to do about it... >.< But maybe talking to someone(s) could maybe help... At the very least maybe people could point me in directions... >.<

Hacker Defense Strategy

….So I did a thing.

First I should start at the beginning. My friend’s discord account was hacked today and the hacker messaged me. It was actually pretty convincing as at first I didn’t realize what was going I and was genuinely worried for them.

And by the time I received their message, it had already been 8 hours, so while waiting for a response I went over to a DPXDC discord server I shared with them. (Not the DPXDC discord server but a server, although I think we might be apart of that one too.) And the very first thing I saw was this.

….huh

*peeks over at the message again. Looking at the sender*

Huh

What a coincidence.

So naturally I ask the DPXDC server, tell them about the message, and check to see if this was the hacker or if perhaps I had gotten a message from my friend before they were hacked.

I check the DM with Eros again and I see this.

A link.

…..

suspicious.

I’m starting to think that this may not be my friend.

So what do I do? Report it? Ignore it? Ask for help? All of the above?

No, no I do not.

Now, you are going to need some context. You remember that shared discord server I was a part of? Well, when one greets a new person in a server we have the option to ‘wave’ and say hello to them as a sticker of a character appears. Sometimes it’s a peach, sometimes a dog, or a robot, or a bird. Well this one person in the server became obsessed with the peach. So much so that whenever someone got the peach sticker they would SCREAM peach and just start chanting it in the chat. And then naturally other people started doing so as well because no one in this server is normal (and I love it so much). There may have been a cult. And a channel dedicated to the peach cult. Not important. But basically! The peach became such an important part of this server and then we discovered that you can acess the wave stickers at will. And they ✨vibrate✨ So naturally we bombard any newcomer to the server with peaches. So I think this is a perfectly natural response to the hacker.

But do I stop at one?

Psshhh. Of course not.

Keep in mind that as this is going on, I am giving live updates to said discord server on how the conversation is going.

It went something like this.

Hacker: listen to me! Me: peach peach peach peach peach peach Hacker: this is very important! Me: peach peach peach peach peach peach Hacker: you are in danger! You must call this ID. Me: peach peach peach peach peach Hacker: ok, don’t forget to call them.

And after many peaches I think they just kinda gave up.

But do I stop there?!

No. No I do not.

I go back to the DPXDC server and start typing.

That’s right.

I got the entire discord server to DM this person and spam the peach. All 233 of us (or at least of who was online at the time).

It was glorious.

But DID I STOP THERE!?

Hah! No.

ROUND TWO!

I might have been having too much fun with this.

In the end, the real Eros managed to get a new account and I’m pretty sure the hacker got blocked (or they blocked us, not sure which) and currently Eros 2.0 is trying to rebuilt and save as much data as possible. They also found our response to the hacker hilarious.

Remember! Internet safety everybody! Don’t click on mysterious links and if someone says you might get banned, do research first before anything. A single report (even on accident) won’t ban you or trolls would have taken advantage of that a long time ago. And no personal information! Not even between friends! The reason Eros still has most of their personal info intact was mostly because they didn’t want anyone (even someone friendly) to have access to their writing prompts and stories. So they were very lucky.

Damian glared at the front of the classroom, specifically at the teacher in front of the whiteboard. Mr. Nightingale. "Call me Dan, for Ancient's sake," he had told them early in the year, was a curious man. He was one of Gotham Academy's more.... unorthodox teachers, less formal as well. He was a science teacher, and despite the urgings of Admin, he never coached for any of the sports GA offered. He was half certain Nightingale was a villain in his career's infancy. All Damian had to do was stop him.

Hero Owen

"Dick!” Tim shouted out his older brother, cringing at his voice. Well, actually it was Dick’s voice, but his brother decided to be an idiot so it’s going to be his voice for now. “You said to grab it!” Dick shouted back, from his spot inside Jason’s body. “WHY ON EARTH WOULD I SAY TO TOUCH THE GREEN GLOWING OBJECT?!” “I DON’T KNOW!” “GUYS!” Jason screamed. “It doesn’t matter whose fault it is! The fucking problem is that now I’m in Steph’s fucking body and she’s a foot shorter than me!”

Tim Drake is a descendant of an ancient hero known only in modern day as Phantom. What happens when this hero comes back from the dead, possessing is next of kin?

Hero One Spooky Boy

Danny seriously hates the Justice League. He tried calling for help in Amity once, and they completely dismissed it as a prank and didn't even attempt to check it out. Something about knowing how ghosts worked and they didn't work like this. Anyways, the Justice League turned up in Amity Park to investigate the GIW and Danny is not having it.

When Danny dies for the first time, he sees something. A masked city with a caped crusader of the night, and a man with a grotesque grin and green hair holding a crowbar over his head. He doesn't find out until years later that his ghost half is the ghost of Jason Todd, keeping him alive.

Villains! Prompts:

Look. Danny didn't mean to fall through the floor and into the cave underneath Wayne Manor. It just happened! But, well. It wouldn't hurt to take a peek, right? Right. Just a little look around the frankly ginormous cave wouldn't have any consequences at all.

A magic user manages to get down to the Batcave. Luckily, no one is hurt, but a stray spell hits the dinosaur, making it come to life.

Villain Non-Malicious Animalization

Something's out in the Kansas woods. Something dripping green, something defensive.

Gotham rogues quickly learned the rules of aposematism. This has resulted in some parents taking the risk of dressing their kids like Robin. This makes most low-level thugs avoid them, but can be a risk when it comes to the bigger rogues and the batclan itself. (Please feel free to make this an inhuman batfamily AU. Preferably not vampires or something. I like it when vigilantes are their own species. They're territorial.)

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Jazz is the one who’s put all the actual realms biology stuff together, not danny. So when it comes down to defeating misinformation, Jazz and Phantom team up to give the…. world’s most awkward schoolwide presentation?

I had been informed that there was at least 2 fairly active servers for this fandom when I had made the poll asking if anyone would be interested in a server. But I still decided it would be best to still go ahead and make one for people to have options and variety.

In the @haunting-heroes-creative-games discord server, we just finished the debut of a new art game called "Guess That Artist"; artists had a month to respond to the above prompt and submit up to two pieces of art anonymously, whereupon players tried to guess who made what.

Fun was had by all—the artists in our server really went all out!
