she's beauty, she's grace, she's 15 year old DION DAO (ディーオン・ダオ), soon-to-be famous hunter and unfortunate travel partner of GING FREECSS (ジン・フリークス).

dion was born in the last carne levare, a hedonistic sex ritual of the kakin empire's royal family. she's the daughter of king nasubi hui guo rou of kakin and an unknown woman. before she could be taken by the mafia, dion was left at an orphanage owned by the chengqian-bi mafia family, known as the most powerful and most merciful of kakin's four mafia families.

she had a relatively ordinary life after this, with some special doting by the nuns for reasons she never quite understood before being told of her past on her tenth birthday. she develops a fascination with puzzles, riddles and history.

after the death of her beloved teacher and friend sister hershi, dion is inspired to leave the orphanage for good and to travel the world. she then takes the hunter exam, where she meets ging freecss and begins travelling the world with him, intent to find some meaning in her (seemingly) meaningless existence as a mistake made by a man and woman who never wanted her.

dion is a manipulator with a truly prodigious mastery of nen. her hatsu is PRIVATE PURE LOVE RENDEZVOUS (プライベート・ピュア・ラブ・ランデブー), which has four different sub abilities.

ROMANTIC LOVE AFFAIR (ロマンチックな恋愛) is her simplest and most frequently used ability. dion assigns a number from one to ten on her opponents. she can then assign commands in order of the numbers to her opponents, which they have to follow. for example, if dion assigned two people with '1' and '2':

"1 -> leave the room."

"2 -> follow them."

if the commands are assigned incorrectly or incongrously, this ability will not work.

LOVE BEYOND REASON (理性を超えた愛) is her next ability and one she uses only in emergencies due to its nature.. she can assign a number of days to someone, where they obey her commands. on the final day, she is unable to give them commands and she can choose if they end up forgetting her or enter a state of 'devotion' for her, meaning that they end up loyal to her.. if a marked target becomes consciously aware of the nen and rejects the feelings or compulsions with clear intent, the countdown pauses — frozen at its current number,. this ability also does not work completely if the target has exceptionally strong nen, or they manage to get a nen exorcist before the final day.

IF YOU LOVED ME, YOU'LL LISTEN (私を愛しているなら、聞いてくれるだろう) is her next ability . if a target feels strong emotions to dion and confesses either love, lust or hatred to her, she can make them do up to five commands with starting phrase "if you love me.." after the five commands, the target ends up forgetting her completely. dion is unable to use this ability more than once on someone. if those feelings fade, she is also unable to give them commands.

DON'T YOU REMEMBER HOW MUCH YOU LOVED ME? (私をどれだけ愛していたか覚えてないの?) is her final ability. if she touches someone and feels genuine emotion to them, she can ask "don't you remember how much you loved me?" dion can then reframe the relationship between her and the target. love, hate-- its all up to her. however, if the target has exceptionally strong nen or clarity, this ability becomes void. along with that, if they witness undeniable proof that the memory didn't happen, the illusion shatters.

DION and GING fight like cats and dogs, as everyone loves to point out. they've been together since they were twelve years old, ever since the first hunter exam. through rain and heat, its just been the two of them. there's a certain bond the two of them share that no one else will be able to understand. a certain connection. sometimes, people will swear up and down that the two of them communicate telepathically.

along with that, their braincells ae simply non-existent around each other. seperate? they're both pretty competent. together? their iq goes down a freefall. they spend so much time fighting over who gets the firewood that they're both freezing by night time. but they'll never, ever be apart. plain and simple. one is never seen without the other. its a relationship that no one but the two of them are able to fully grasp.

Did you script out the story as we know it?: Not entirely. A lot of my reality difference from the reality you watch on YouTube is that the sins interact more in casual terms and are siblings, and that they have more access to the human world and it’s perks (as long as everyone is in human form). I also went ahead and merged Hazbin in there because why wouldn’t I? I’m kicking Val’s whole ass. Thanks.

GROUP A , TRIAL i. : THE MAZE. ꕤ the grass is lush and slightly scratchy beneath her as she reclines down on her back. lexi, ever the lounging-happy med-jack, is soaking up the warmth of the sun during her lunch break, a soft breeze ruffling her hair where she lays. the air is thick with the scent of sunbaked pasture and warm soil; distant sounds of shrieking laughter, rythmic clanking of porcelain dishes, and casual conversations echoes over the tree tops in the glade. the sky overhead is an endless, brilliant blue… it almost makes her forget about the towering ivy walls surrounding her. almost.

i , GINGER AND BARK : ginger the cat struts along the edge of the maze. he’s on a mission. bark the-non-barking-dog follows him anxiously, tugging the stubborn feline’s fluffed-up tail in protest. ginger sits down, having finally found himself his perfect waiting spot right in front of the opened maze doors. he’s waiting for a certain glader, minho. his little cat brain plotting and scheming. (maybe minho will come back from his run soon….. maybe minho will give them some food….. maybe minho doesn’t know that they were just fed by zart 20 minutes ago…...)

no glader pay the farm animals any mind in the hustle and bustle of the workday. they’re used to them by now. the cat and the dog have been there since… well, forever; since before the first ever gladers came up in the box. one might wonder if the pets arrived in the box they themselves, all alone to fend for themselves in a strange new environment, or if they’ve simply always existed - and will always exist - in the grassy meadows of the glade. like some sort of mythical, immortal beings.

ii , HOMESTEAD : the shabby, raggedy old thing leans like the tower of pisa. and somehow, til this day, it’s still standing. what really ties the whole damned thing together is the bottle tree outside next to the decrepit porch. and probably the (amateurishly and unnecessary) added sections by the builders. much like ginger and bark, the homestead has always been there in all of its water-damaged glory. sometimes it feels haunted. especially late at night, when it creaks and groans like it’s alive and angry that it is.

humble and simple bedrooms exist for the lucky few bastards who managed to get first dibs on those. the rest sleep in hammocks or sleeping bags on the dew-covered grass outside. gladers dine al-fresco. the reason gladers don’t dine inside? see the following sitting rule, which exists for a reason: ”doors with high thresholds are called windows, and you’re not allowed to walk through those.”

People die all the time.

They die in the hunt, they die from fever. In rare cases, they die because their body is old.

People don’t come back from the dead. And yet─

In Ida’s scarlet heart, which is not meant to beat anymore, she knew home to be the tent she shared with her mother father and three brothers. She knew home to be her and her witch mother finding herbs for the healing tent. She knew home to be the warm and strong arms of her father as he readjusted her archery form once more. She knew home to be her irritating her three brothers again just to have their attention and their annoyed yet loving looks. She knew home to be her girl, her love, as she bounds over and jumps in Ida’s arms after Ida comes back from a hunt. In her somehow-beating heart, she knows that she has to leave home sooner or later.

Because witches live long but not forever. Vampires, however, do.

But in her grieving of a mortal life, Ida chooses to give herself time. She grows tense when she thinks of leaving. She grows quiet when she considers the loneliness. She avoids thinking about the blood of others that now lay in her veins─moving through them and bringing a flush to her face as if its hers, as if her own blood that her scarlet heart had pumped since she was a mere baby wasn’t drained from her years ago. And so she grieves and knows that she has infinite time─a lifetime that will not end unless the world ends, a future forever uncertain─and she does not think about the fact that her home will forever be her only grave.

And its such a strange thing, being the dead walking. Your bones to never creak, your heart feels like it never beats─as still as air is at the eye of a hurricane─even though it must, and your veins carry the blood of dead creatures and is always hungry for more blood that almost shimmers and sings in its promise of pleasure.

And there is a silence that howls beneath your ribs─the absence of life clear despite the thumping of your heart─like a candle suddenly snuffed out, the smoke still there floating, the wax hardened in place─something sharp and almost-divine and withered lingers at the place where life bloomed like flowers in the spring sun, and you get tired of the silence. You wish to hear your insides speak and make sound but it stubbornly keeps quiet. And it is a punishment in return for the eternal dark gift; to hear nothing but the outside, to have no peace in the sounds of yourself and your body. Your heart beats yet you could never hear it yourself, your lungs expand and you breathe and yet it is as quiet as a predator stalking its prey in the woods─it is like pretending to be human has been made impossible. Because the dark gift doesn’t like to be denied─it is erratic and cruel and hungry─a thudding hunger that sets fire to your veins and extends your fangs… it is a strange thing laced with poison for those unaccepting and the only thing that aches is remembrance of a mortal life.

And you are untethered in a way that makes the word home sound strange. The lack of the deadline is felt. You feel like a mortal turned unrightfully divine─

And the sun has turned its back on you.

And Ida used to chase the sun. They would call her the sunchaser and laugh at her when she would whine about the red spots burnt onto her exposed skin. Now she is a creature of the night, never to feel comfort under the rays of the sun, never to feel its kiss on her skin, never to take in its beautiful rise and its colors. And now she finds herself in Rome, looking for her lover, trying to be the carefree girl she once was─even though she is now a phantom and myth that walks under the beams of the moon, even though she can not be a sunchaser any longer, even though she is no longer naive and fragile─but she is a killer in nature and her body is quiet in its attempt to be the apex predator and she has been dead for centuries.

And her lover, who took to being a creature of the night much better than Ida, who never truly changed─an adventurer and impatient as always─walks among the people of Rome like she is nothing different, waiting to be noticed and be seen. Luckily for her, Ida would know her by the way the moon makes her skin shine iridescently, by the way she holds her arms when she walks, by her scent─because their love has never been ordinary. It has always been a wild beat of their hearts and now it is their only thread still shimmering with life─the only thing about them not blood-stained and fierce. Their former home is a grave and their love is the remaining ashes, and yet they’ve found it to be gentle and bright, and it bloomed in their distance that spanned two centuries… it has never been clearer that they are each other’s companion.

And that is enough for Ida to find her in the thousand faces walking the marble streets of Rome at the dead of night. And after that, with their eternal companionship renewed as two untethered vampires who have eyes for only the other, starts the rest of their life.

Sólaire, Hollywood’s recent obsession has taken the industry by storm. At first with her debut film “Overmorrow” co-starring Matthew McConughay and Kate Winslet, which surpassed James Cameron’s “Titanic” on the list of the highest grossing films of all time. Then her work with Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead in his directorial debut, “Red Vice,” as the lead female character, and today, the young actress is rumored to be Sophia Coppola’s newest muse for her upcoming film.

But it didn’t always start off like this. In fact, Sólaire has always been open and honest with the fact that she didn’t even take an acting class before auditioning for “Overmorrow.”

SÓLAIRE: It was a complete accident, really. My friend was auditioning and there were, maybe, three people in the room? So, as a joke she said I should just walk in and try and…well, here we are!

INTERVIEWER: Are you still friends with that person?

S: Absolutely not.

Alongside her Hollywood take over, Sólaire’s fashion and aesthetic has made her palatable to many niche spaces on the internet that have welcomed her with open arms and armor of protection. A few of these include enjoyers of “coquette” fashion, various anime communities, and even fans of K-Pop have found themselves standing behind the actress as much as their favs.

Despite her fame, Sólaire wears the term “fan girl” like a badge of honor. Her many interests include K-pop (specifically Enhypen, Twice, IVE, and Kiss of Life), anime/manga, Marvel/DC, video games, Chase Atlantic, all things book related, F1 and other sports.

She has embraced the fame as it comes to her and is spoken highly of by many colleagues, fellow co-stars, and industry workers alike.

S: People work hard for this kinda thing, you know? And it was just an insane series of coincidences that I was able to break through this industry on my legitimate first try (laughs). So, even if I don’t feel up to it or whatever, I take a moment every single day to be grateful for every opportunity and every challenge I’m faced with.

━━━━ PERSONAL LIFE ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Sólaire prefers to maintain a very private life with a close knit circle of friends. Her immediate friends were made in high school and college, while her more well known friends include Marsai Martin, Wonyoung (IVE), Sabrina Carpenter, Natty (Kiss of Life), and Olivia Rodrigo. These friends are often scattered amongst her Instagram and TikTok’s, making the actress feel more relatable to fans.

As much as the young actress tries to protect her privacy, paparazzi can be relentless in their pursuits of uncovering gold, and in Sólaire’s case, that is exactly what it is.

In October 2023, she and the star player of the New Jersey Devils, Jack Hughes were seen getting cozy after a game, of which she had been in attendance. The couple didn’t make their relationship official until June of 2023 in spicy and loving summer boat pictures posted to both of their main social media.

SÓLAIRE: I was plotting on that man from the first time I saw him. I just knew I was gonna get that and surprise, surprise, I did it again. Maybe I should make a book on how to manifest (she laughs).

INTERVIEWER: How is the long distance working for you guys? Is it hard with the hockey schedule and acting schedule conflicts?

S: Sometimes, but we usually work together on that kinda thing. I’ll take time to see him in New Jersey or he’ll come visit the film set, it can be fun, actually. And then the summers are usually ours!
