Alright so for a belated Christmas present here's part 2 of the 0!Tiff stuff which is now going to be chopped up into multiple asks (for the sake of time and to prevent any more computer problems on your end) and is now going to be called...

*INSERT SOUND OF DRAMATIC DRUMROLL HERE*

~The FalseFumu AU~

Ok so first, one more group of addendums

CW:This is going to have {2} particularly disturbing scenes involving stuff pouring out of one's mouth and I would like for you to tell me how well I did

• The reason why this version of Tiffumu out of any and all others had the last laugh, at least in a sense, was because, just before she got knocked out, she acted on the sudden impulse to call the WarpStar™ to help her, though pained and quiet it ended up coming out as (which had the fortunette(?) side effect of it being too indesurnable for 02 to properly react to (not that him knowing what she said would've really helped him much))

• When she called upon the star, it responded by sending some of it's nigh boundless power to help her out, though by the time it reached her, she was already knocked out, so it improvised and did the only thing it could do at the time and coalesced into a protective sphere for her now dormant consiesness (which has the bonus of being invisible to beings of pure negativity like 02) and hiding within the deepest recesses of her mind

• When the Ebrum twins went to play with Kirby, he could tell something was off with Tiff, like he had an intense feeling that she wasn't what she seemed, though everyone just chalked it up to him acting weird because he can't talk well (and even if he could, who'd believe him anyways)

• Funnily enough, the OG version of "Control Over Mind And Body" had 02 experiencing deja-vu when looking at Castle DeDeDe despite it looking "[not] that interesting or notable" and maybe that could be like trace amounts of tiff still remaining before he officially does the whole rooting thing and link him and her together proper

• After the rooting thing, (which, BTW, happens shortly after the "Castle DeDeDe...?" part of the story, specifically for the check-up), the first instance of the link interfering is in dr. Yabui's office where they slightly zone out looking at and being strangely fascinated by a diagram of a cappy's body and then looking down at theirs and being even more strangely fascinated by merely having one before being snapped out of it and quickly dismissing it as just a weird feeling (yeah, in this story, 02 gets pretty dence about this kind of stuff)

• Another instance of this occurs when they're manipulating DDD and Escargoon, manifesting as a weirdly intense fury for the penguin, like, 02 already dislikes the king, but they feel really upset at them, to the point where they're struggling not to be mean at him, let alone to avoid just gutting him for trying to kill Kirby being this dimension's version of someone that almost caused 02's demise (they somehow manage to fool the king but not quite the snail and after that was the part where they start spiraling)

• The very night after they found that cool looking shell, 02 had a nightmare where they were in a black void with a wooden floor, being judged by Z E R O, (looking particularly like his more humanoid design made for "KRBAY:A Reoccurring Nightmare"), specifically for being a dishonorable coward who ran away and for being soft twords the dark matter clan and just generally being a manifestation of 02's feelings of total inadequacy, with it's final words before the dream ends being an ultimatum that"If you dare as to let your feelings resemble anything like this ungrateful brat of a vessel, you will NEVER be worthy of being my second coming, and your clan will wish I was still ruling over them instead of you"

(Even after he gets flayed by Kirby using a artifact known as the "Love-Love stick" whist getting shot at by one of his "defective" spawn, Zero STILL remains one of, if not the biggest scumbags in the Kirby franchise)

• When the whole entanglement process really began to happen, 02 decided to avoid mirrors, as looking into them fed the ever growing part of him that accepted Tiff as herself and he did not want to let Tiff win over them

• Around the time 02 began to really become Tiff mentally, her body, in turn, began to...make itself more comfy for the dark matter inside it and slowly mutated into one more fitting for a cross between 02 and Tiffumu (hence why I called his left eye the "original" body) which, aside from being in painful growth spurts, also made them look a bit off-model (white-ish hands, thinning height, and the like)

• When he tried to shift their form back in line of how it used to be, the growth just sped up and got more painful, (to the point where it started to feel like her very ORGANS were shifting places), which ended up being one of the prime reasons why they decided to get some alone time to gather up their thoughts and reformat them to something else other than a whirlwind of emotions

• I originally had 0!Tiff just lock herself in a room or something but then I realized that...well...this is 02 were talking about, so he could instead lock everyone out of the castle Ripple Star Style (ala chase everyone out and envelop the castle in darkness)

• Due to being almost completely overwhelmed by the thoughts swarming through their head and the dark matter clan unknowingly joining in, (which ends up being especially bad considering that Tiff's memory of being possessed and resulting trauma are now also being re-expereanced), they decide to give the clan the order to chase everyone else out of the castle but to not possess them (which, despite doing anyways, does confuse them a bit) except for 3, which she gives free will and instructs them to give a diet version to the others so that they can roam the halls for intruders and do so without him having to instruct them (hence, why they have different looking eyes now, as well as explaining how Kirby managed to convert them onto his side)

• I guess I should also mention that the soon-to-be hybrid, like, up-chucked the entire dark matter clan to get them out (and I DO mean up-chucked like she straight up vomitted the dark matter clan) due to the pain he was feeling

• When he entered the bathroom, her body started to mutate for the final time, and man, did the growing pains not disappoint, for they started to feel their ribs push out, their bones stretch, and their eyes churn, but the most memorable part of the experience was when the mouth started bleeding and it felt like their tounge was being pushed out and he leaned over the toilet to try and drain it, only to cough out her own tounge and watch in horror and fascination as a cactus looking replacement immediately began to grow in it's place

• They REALLY didn't want to look into the mirror, in fear of what they currently looked like and/or what it would make them feel, but a persistent little part of them told themselves that they would never have closure if they let fear purely dictate what they should do

• When they innevably look at themselves in the mirror, their reflection was that of...themself...and as they admired every detail, they started to finally feel...relieved and even comfortable with themself, like they transformed from a bunch of intrusive and contradictory thoughts into a brand new them...of course, the second they actually register that thought of being a new entity, they immediately go back into panic mode as the part of them that once was 02 wanted to cling desperately to it's own identity as an angel of the dark via calling his name... only to slowly realize that that name no longer... fits them... like it doesn't really even register as being their actual name anymore... they try again... same lack of personal connection with it... they start SCREAMING his full self-given title at her reflection... their own breath starts to waver in fear and confusion... they try to convince themself about who they should be by telling Tiff that she won't win and that the light will drown in despair... but they are already starting to doubt if that will even happen at this point or even if it should as the face in the mirror starts to cry... they start to instruct Tiff that this isn't funny and that she should quit being in their head and get back in line if she knows what's good for her... but then they remember that they are the one inside her head... and then, almost as if by cue, a thought flies by that definitely breaks the last safety net that they had left, in an attempt to correct a perceived flaw in an argument...

"02... was the one in Tiff's head... and now she and him exist purely in mine."

02 is... as an definitive entity... gone

Tiff's subconscious mind had pretty much absorbed him completely

The resulting hybrid entity, who's pride about being the heir to Zero's throne that kept them going now replaced by a bottomless pit of regret, now started to wonder if they should go on or even can go on and starts to admit to themself that the light had won and tried to call themself Tiff to honor her and say that she had officially won over the angel...

...but no one responded

For you see, Tiff unaware absorption of 02 had, paradoxically, caused the total annihilation of Tiff as anyone knew her as well

They weren't Tiff and they are not 02

Being a entity who now completely sees themself as a hybrid between a child that's too rude to be listened to and a misshapen nest pretending to be a king of darkness, all that now was on their mind was a simple yet seemingly impossible question...

"Who am I?"

They then tried to do the three options I described in the initial ask, in a desperate attempt to get some certainty about their identity back

They reached to pull their left eye out first, feeling like the world's better off without 02, before his necrophobia and care for the dark matter clan kicked in

They then thought about defenestrating themself as to finally steal the last laugh from Tiff and feed off of her family's sorrows but that ended up just making them scared of doing it

Finally, they tried to defuse so that they could both be themselves again (though with some hesitation, it is worth at least trying)...

The attempt resulted in pain, and when they looked to see what the problem was...

It turned out to be the fact that, as 02, they rooted themself to Tiff's mind

That was it... That was the problem... It wasn't just the shell nor her stubbornness nor the power of the WarpStar... It was 02 and his cockiness that defeated himself...

With final chuckle, though sounding more like croaking, the hybrid said onto themself...

"I guess you really did get me this time, haven't you Tiff."

.....

... But just before they could decide on plucking their old body out of it's socket again, the door starts to creak open, startling the poor thing, and out pops in...

~Kabii~

A flurry of emotions smashed into them after seeing his face and hearing him call the other half of the vessel's name but what the processed final result ended up being was a unmotivated claim of coming here to mock the part of them that was 02

Kirby doesn't really pay it any mind and go to check if they have any injuries, self-given or other wise

They just give up any fighting back and just ask about how Kirby always has some part to play whenever dark matter ambitions get snuff, not really for a definitive answer but just because they feel like it's just fate than pit them together

Kirby poyos a bit more as they ask if he can say much of anything else to which he responded with, of course, the name of his favorite food

This offends them, like, they just suffered a emotional hurricane and lost all sense of purpose and all Kirby has to say is something to do with FOOD

They then start to yell at Kirby, moreso being upset in general about how they will never ever ever get to be anything other than a misshapen copycat of 0

As the rage dies out and they start to realize what they are doing, they realize that they got upset at a mere infant just for saying what was probably just the thing on their mind, thus, in theirs, confirming their fears of inadequacy

When they let go of Kirby, they lie down, back to the ceiling, and place their arms on lower part of it as they call upon the Warp Star within Kirby, granting him the star rod ability before telling him to rid the world and his caretaker of 02, thinking that Kirby probably already got rid of the rest of dark matter considering that he's already gotten this far

Out of pity and because he actually spared the others (trust me, we'll get to that) decided to instead leave the room in order to get his new friend a "cheer up" snack

Meanwhile, the hybrid saw it as the ultimate insult to injury, with them thinking that Kirby found so pathetic that he left them in their own grief

"GG, Kirby... GG"

Kirby went back into the room and said his favorite food again, much to their dismay, thinking he's just announcing his favorite food on loop for some reason

They looked up just to tell him to stop only to that Kirby had brought a dish of watermelonly delight alongside 3 balls of dark matter that Kirby befriended

The dark matter explained that Kirby wanted a similar thing that they did so they made a truce to try and help both parties out

The hybrid states that, at this point, Tiff as Kirby knew her, doesn't really exist anymore to which Kirby thinks about it and then does something that basically says that he's fine with any version of Tiffumu

The hybrid thanks Kirby and in response Kirby calls them "zee-ru tif" which makes them so emotional that they pass out and have another strange dream

...BUT DAT'S A STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY

BONUS CONTENT:

• When I said that they "...promised to be a better Tiff than she ever was,"I meant that she was going to be and act like an actual Tiff without foresaking his new identity as a hybrid between her and 02 (Superior Spiderman, despite being a Spiderman, still has very clear influences from his past life as Doctor Octopus, what with his 4 extra robotic limbs and all that)

• When in their "ANGEL" form, they start to move a bit like a puppet on strings (like how I imagine normal possessed!tiff moves like in that form)

• She can actually see through TV static (and maybe even climb out of) referencing Kirby 64 (with shiver star and that poem), the anime (Channel DDD), and IRL dark matter (cosmic radiation and all that,like check out UpIsNotJump, he's great)

KRBAY/HNK Head Canons (Robobot Addition Finally)

1.Susie disagreed to hurting Kirby and Tiff because they were children, but Haltmann was crazy enough to hurt children, so he denied her request.

2. The gang also runs into the cyborg version of Whispy Woods & battles the 3 Tripple D clones (along with cones of Escargoon & Taranza)

3. This unused design of Susie

is used as the design of her mother & Haltmann's wife (her real name is Solana which I got from this post on Tumbler (shout outs to whoever drew this))

Solana left Haltmann because of how greedy he's became instead of looking for their daughter. 4. After the arc there is an epilog episode where Susie needs to find a new job on Planet Popstar but has a hard time getting one. She tried to work at places like Kawasaki's Restaurant or Dr. Yabui's Clintec (where the otter girl got one), but it ultimately would end in disaster. Tiff, Kirby, & the gang tried everything till they thought they were done for. But then Maglor gave them advice to not give up and keep trying. (I'll explain more in my Magolor head canons ask) The gang took Magolor's advice and then saw their friend Gus, needing help repairing wheelies, cars, & robots (he had interest in repairing the fallen robots from Haltmann Works). Susie said that she doesn't know if Gus would be ok with it, but he said he would accept the help. and thanks to her help, Gus's work became easier. Susie & Gus have really shippy moments together. In the epilog episode when Gus first meets Susie, he was acutely kind of shocked that a chick would know so much about machines. He only thought from all the females he knew weren't interested in mechanics. In later episodes, on a few occasions is trying to ask her out. (And eventually she does go out with him)

5. Gus also calls Susie Sue & her design after the Robobot arc & epilog now resembles more of Gus' attire

6. There is a later episode/2 part where Solana meets Susie totally by accident. When Solana finds out that Susie is a dirty mechanic, she faints. She is absolutely furious that her OWN BABY is now a filthy, barbaric, dirty, (even burping) mechanic, so she brings her back to her mansion where Solana tries to make her more regale again. Gus, Tiff, Tuff, & Kirby then try to stop Solana from taking Sue back, but she ultimately takes Susie with her. Then they find out that there is going to be an aoristic ball where King Dedede along with his servants is invited (who didn't want to go but Goonie & Ranzy are forcing/coving him to go) So Tiff then comes up with a comes up with a plan to get Susie back. Meanwhile the biker gang from Born to be Mild come back & plan to savatage the ball. (Yes, Beat is alive but there's a complicated reason (that treated as a joke) why) In the end Gus proves to Solana that not all bikers/mechanics are bad people because there "uncivilized". After Kirby once again saves the day, with the help of Tiff, Tuff, & Susie, Solana then thanks Gus for saving her and let's Susie be the person she wants to be.

Kirby of the Stars (New English Dub)

Was thinking up a potential alternate English dub cast for the Kirby of the Stars (if the series had been done in Los Angeles dub, same as Japanese Original Dub and instead of 4Kids voice actors). Anon I am impressed by the very thought out list! I haven't watched the Kirby anime in ages so I don't remember all the characters, but I love the idea of Billy West voicing Escargon :D

Okay, so you said MK didn't tell anyone about his PTSD/Survivor's guilt/whatever, but I wonder if there was anyone in Dreamland who was able to put the pieces together like "wait, this guy watched all of his friends and family die. shouldn't he have been affected by that in some way?"

I think, maybe Curio may put a few pieces together about MK. Curio Must have studied the ruins all around Kabu and read enough history to have an inkling about what may have happened. But that information would all be well out of date and vague and MK certainly would have no reason to talk to the cappies. Same with Dr. Yabui, I think they’d be the only two cappies to be able to do it, but they probably don’t know he’s a Star Warrior and a veteran until well after Kirby arrives

I think however smart Fumu is, I don’t really think she has any basis to understand what he’s gone through. She could probably observe his behaviour over the years and maybe she could read a psychology book and make a leap of a connection to the way MK acts. After they talk more when Kirby arrives I think she would pity him for his losses (which he doesn’t want), but she’s never lost anyone herself, so I don’t think she’d really be able to understand how he feels.

Oddly, I think the first person other than Sword and Blade MK talks to that may understand, is Knuckle Joe. But even with Joe, it’s only the understanding of loss, not of outliving everyone.

MK needs therapy.

Why do the elite cappies look almost nothing like the peasant cappies? Fumu/Tiff looked incredibly like Sirica despite being a totally different species. There is so few elites in the Kingdom, I have little doubt that Parm and Memu weren't placed in an arranged marriage (one or both of them coming from outside of Cappy Town).

Well the easy answer is... they’re just not Cappies! 

They, and likely Dr. Yabui, are just a totally different, unnamed species. (And then Kawasaki is another species from them!)

Remember it’s only called ‘Cappy Town’ in the dub. So officially, there’s nothing saying that everyone living there has to be a Cappy, ya know? They’re just the majority.
