Whumpee has been out for a few days, and when they wake up, they see Caretaker, asleep in the chair next to Whumpee's bed, holding their hand.

Somebody should explain why skizz is an angel to me cuz the only justification i can think of is because impulse is a drmon so wouldnt it be silly if skizz is an amgel and that feels like reducing him down to impulses best friend and i dont vibe with that. When the Pillars first meet Tanjiro's friends they're curious to see if they have any competition (which really they don't because who could ever compete against them?) to win Tanjiro's heart.

Watching Zenitsu they're happy to see that the blonde boy is more interested in Tanjiro's drmon sister than the sunshine that's captured their hearts.

But Inosuke? Takes a little longer to understand. They see how he puffs up whenever Tanjiro compliments him, they see how annoyed he gets when Tanjiro isn't paying attention to him, or how he's always trying to drag Tanjiro to the training yard.

Till one day it hits them, "He's like an overly excited dog!"

Aoi, who heard they come to this conclusion and questions why this is her life, as she tries not to sigh when she says: "Or a younger brother trying to get his older brother's attention."

RAHHHHHHHHHH HELLO!!!!!!!!!!

So I’ve been dwelling on Ivan Franzwick’s power along with the more minor background characters in Ramshackle.

I LOVE THAT IDEA FOR HIS POWER TO BE SIMILAR TO DAKI’s POWER! I think it fits him very well with being able to manipulate these sash like appendages to attack and defend himself. I definitely wanna tie in his love for fashion into his power. I was also thinking like a power similar to Best Jeanist for MHA. Just anything that has to do with manipulation of fabric. I feel like that since our boy has expensive taste, drawbacks would include that Ivan can only manipulate NATURAL fabrics like wool, cotton, silk, linen, ect. Nothing artificial like polyester, spandex, ect. Or maybe something adjacent to SpiderMan where Franzwick can produce fabric from his fingers or wrists. I’m still thinking of the drawbacks for his power though, nobody in this super hero universe is going end up being OP.

Curious; Could you tell me more about Drmon and his story?

Basically demon was a geno sans (aftertale) but he never escaped and went insane. He was found and recruited by nightmare who discovered the little “quirk” of this sans. He just doesn’t die anymore. No matter what happens he has so much determination that he involuntarily comes back from the dead, leaving him in constant pain. Eventually, with a few borrowed assets , he found his way back to his world. While back in his world, he tried his best to save it. It was then that corrupted chara revealed themselves (in this au chara was a sweet child and sans’ childhood friend but she was corrupted by her hate for humanity and lost herself after dying). Corrupt chara offered sans a deal where they would kill everyone except papyrus to gain the power to wipe out humanity. Sans trusted chara blindly because he remembers how kind chara was to him when he was little and he blames himself for the deaths of chara and Asriel (wasn’t his fault he was three). He gave chara some control over his soul but chara went back on her word and killed papyrus. Sans was obviously upset but he wasn’t strong enough yet to stop chara. Sans’ plan to take his brother back to the castle where he could be safe had crumbled and he lost all hope. He and chara wiped out the underground with ease. Afterwards they took the souls and wiped out humanity. Sans wanted to stop but chara wasn’t done. Using their power they reset over and over again, forcing sans to constantly kill everyone until he started to realise it would never end. He purposely shattered his soul as an escape attempt but the fragments went on to become different people. It did loosen chara’s control though, allowing him to gain back control of his actions. He went and found the fragments of his soul living separate lives, they agreed to fuse giving demon a bit of a split personality and way too much power for his own good. He revived his world once again but with the help of error removed the player’s code. Now he lives a split life as papyrus’ brother (he helped papyrus get into the royal guard), nightmare’s right hand man (despite the fact he could easily overpower nightmare. He’s just really loyal) and the king of catperia (a different story). He pretends everything is ok, he married reaper and they have children together. From the point of view of everyone else it seems he got his happy ending. But that isn’t the truth. Those close to him know his in constant unbearable pain, He’s a high functioning alcoholic, he still has to deal with chara constantly trying to gain back control and he has so much trauma that he struggles to just live his life without panic attacks. He tried to go back to his old life with his brother but the damage is done. And now his hunger is taking its toll. Especially when it comes to blood.

God you're so right the Canon minerva drmon outfit should burn I'd forgotten how truly bad it was 😬😬 love your redraw of her!! I'd always wished she kept her demon features after the tartarus arc and got to more badass!!

I have so much animosity towards post tartaros Minerva. Outside of just wanting her visual design to reflect some sign of what she went through.

I don't have anything against redeemed villains, but she's one of the many women Mashima turns more docile/meek when he makes them good. She made such a turn and it's awful. Part of what makes villain redemption arcs work so well is actually seeing the villain struggle to be a better person and I think Mashima is allergic to actually engaging with the complexities of those situations because even outside of the women, when villains turn good they're just instantly better people with no difficulty beyond external.
