Anyway hi, I'm finally here at nearly 11:30pm, gonna get some bits done and send those asks out!!

short update: got a bunch of things queued that are a mix of hcs, aesthetic, text, meme, & image!! the schedule is currently at the default 2 times a day, but i may change this. more mun business under the cut.

on the oof side: haven't been feeling great the last couple of days cause of Shark Week™ being a literal pain. a lot of IRL stuff has had me either asleep, helping my grandparents, or making sure to stay connected with friends outside of this particular hobby, such as hanging in VCs & playing games.

on the positive side: i am officially gonna have a published thing!! actually for realsies!! i've also gotten re-listed for the upcoming school year so fingers crossed that goes smoothly and much better than last year so i can save more significantly than i have been. also-also we have been gearing up because Pennsic is coming and i'm gonna be a helping hand go-fer slightly more than usual this year!

working on it side: i've got another reboot i gotta do. still working on tags for here. i've gotta re-tackle the queues for the marvel & spn multis. i may be thinking about adding two more muses here. i've got spiderverse brainrot and i WILL continue to meme about my sassy spidey baby because i love her. i'm gonna be seeing about re-organizing my cursive greek myth project so i can start it over on a clean edge. && i'm trying to learn how to draw more things, including people. gotta work on a promo edit at some point so i have something Pretty for here lol

this is the one i don't hate, for anyone who is interested. i would absolutely link the other, regardless of the fact i despise it, but i searched for it and, no word of a lie, the dumblr™ search wouldn't find it! (not really a shock but could sound like an excuse—only it's just not lol).

feels a bit silly to make an Official Announcement™ on my personal blog for posting bullshit but, uh, an announcement! i've decided im not going to continue liveblogging any of the currently airing big three toku shows (sentai/rider/ultra). i'll stick to finishing out my zenkai liveblog since we're so close to the end anyway, but for donbrothers, the rest of revice, and whatever the next ultra is, i'll just be watching them on my own

i WILL still post about them, for sure, but the play-by-play recaps i've stuck to for so long have been feeling more like an obligation than a hobby for a good while now. yall have seen how much i've fallen behind on basically every show, to the point where i haven't finished a season of ultra since r/b, and a lot of that just comes down to looking at an episode, wanting to watch it, but not being in the particular mood to liveblog. so i put it off, and then one week turns into six, suddenly im majorly behind on everything, and catching up while liveblogging it all starts to feel daunting and i fall back even further

it's been an issue for a long time but i stuck with it bc liveblogging stuff felt like my main contribution to our little side of toku dumblr. but i just don't have fun with it anymore, not with the currently airing stuff. i feel like im missing a deadline and finding out all the spoilers before i get to them, and by the time i do get around to them i don't feel like im saying anything new or unique (outside of being the rare reiwa liker i guess). i'd like to just enjoy them on their own terms again rather than as tumblr content fodder. like i said, if i've got something to post i'll post it, probably put it under tags like "revice posting" or "donbrothers posting", just something less rigid and more casual

i will, however, still be liveblogging toku! just the older stuff, where there isn't that itch in the back of my mind that im not watching fast enough. turboranger finished airing over 30 years ago, so im not too worried about falling behind on it, ya know? im hoping without having to liveblog the current stuff, i'll have more time to hit up my backlog and get back to stuff like all the sentai and metal heroes and rescue forces i haven't seen. i think that's the stuff i like liveblogging most bc i get to spread some love to lesser talked about shows and might get someone interested in them, as opposed to liveblogging zenkaiger which everyone and their mom is already watching and talking about

so you know. not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but just felt like i should make a post about it since i've been getting asks about when i'll get back to liveblogging regularly. just don't wanna feel burnt out on something as non-serious as tumblr blogging :s
