Industrial Loft Addon

Hello! It's time for another addon! This one is for the Industrial Loft Kit!

This addon aims to provide more versatility to the various items from the Kit, as well as creating new items that use the same style! There are plenty of new tables, shelves and desks, as well as some new seating options! I even threw in some windows and doors — who could say no to that?

There's just over 50 items included in this addon, effectively tripling the items you get from the Industrial Loft Kit! You can easily find the items in buy mode by searching for "Industrial Loft Addon" or "IllogicalSims" using the in-game search function.

Install

To install, place the .package files into your Mods folder found, by default, in My Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods. Alternatively, you can place the individual .package files from the separated ZIP into it’s own folder within the Mods folder to keep things tidy.

ranting warning

I'm getting real tired of these stupid holiday decorations getting stuck on public lots. It's also causing other issues like one time I went to build on a lot in a neighborhood that was bugged and every time I created a roof, the decorations would show up with it.

I tried to put down a box to turn off the decorations but then when I went to build and re apply the roof the fucking game crashed (thankfully, next time I removed the decoration, went to manage worlds and came back and it did not crash that time)

Also does anyone know what hell is causing this last exception below the cut, it's the only one I am getting consistently and there isn't even a small business in the area I'm in so I wonder if it's a Nordhaven NPC or something.

but i do have impossibly garbage internet! which means i can't do much of anything requiring wi-fi for the majority of the month, and when it is usable, it's primarily used for other things (it doesn't help that i was a little burnt out on sims anyway)

but semi-good news! i just got my new graphics card, i got topaz clean to work—i just need to get back in the groove of using photoshop again! still gonna have to be fairly inactive (no internet + i made a personal 2nd tumblr acc that i'm logged into on my phone)

the problem with the goth kit isnt that the items are bad (which is ultimately subjective) its that "goth" as a fashion genre is. far too broad of a term to be confined to 1 pack, let alone 1 kit. but i dont really expect ea to be aware of that so hey

my new rankings on The Sims 4 packs

out of the 11 packs that came out this year, only 4 of them are the best in my opinion (Limsimsie kit, The Bathroom Kit, Business pack and Kitchen Kit)

i like some other kits but there are 2 kits what i dislike a bit but not extremely bad (elder and business chic kits)

there are so many packs and kits i decided to create lots of categories based on my vibes

there's a fairy pack coming out in 2 weeks so i'll keep you updated
