what made you decide to give your Ruin's design a mainly gray color pallette?

I figured i’d do a whole rundown because I’ve been asked why I designed em like this before!

Secret design LORE, comic sneak-peaks, in-character dialogue, headcanons, and more!

Eclipse will be a separate one, his has a lot more history!! The color palette question is answered in #7!!

And now, some in-character lore…

Yes he in fact has trans scars. Why? The AI’s are all naturally agender and can be programmed to act as a singular gender. Gender itself is not a real concept to them, and is only there to make humans feel more comfortable.

After everything Ruin has gone through, delving into human life and discovering the different genders humans may identify as, he related to the struggles of transgender slander, being labeled as a complete freak for being born the way he is and then outcasted for it. He designed those scars himself to give himself his own “identity” as you would program into him.

Ruin has no specified gender (my specific Ruin) but he leans towards being a feminine he/him.

In shorter terms I watched all his past abuse and all I could think about was transgender representation.

Decided to have my 1st sotw entry (probably only one for this sotw) of them taking a family picture!!

Charlie somehow having a camera, takes the picture. Eclipse looking at Charlie, wondering how she got a camera in the first place. Jake/Andrew (stitchy) taken off gaurd from the sudden picture, not expecting it to happen all of a sudden, and Andrew's smile and eyes visible but hidden with his invisibility, still being able to be seen just barely in the still momment.

This was fun to do it only took me 10 hrs and 11 min

AAAAHHH I CAN’T BELIEVE I PREDICTED IT!! I completed the drawing a few days after it was confirmed that Ruin and (his version of) Monty had a brief but happy relationship before everything went downhill, and I’m EATING UP the angst!

I was in the middle of drawing this when the ship was confirmed! A ship that ends in tragedy, but still a SHIP! Let’s focus on the happy parts they had before the virus everyone, if we pretend hard enough maybe we can manifest that they stayed happy like this forever… :,)
