Ngl I think I hate performative girlbossification of female characters more than I hate people not including said female characters in their fan content. Actually I don't care at all if they're indifferent to her. Who gives a fuck. Like I'd respect it more if they're like "ngl I just don't give a shit about her" with their whole chest, rather than being like "OMG I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!! She's perfect, she's best girl, she kicks ass [never talks about her ever and only includes her as a prop to examine the male characters they DO like]" just because they're scared of getting called misogynistic. Like if you know in your heart that this character means nothing to you and you know you're not gonna do her justice, might as well just leave her out. But attempts to shoehorn her in, using your 2015-feminist style characterization is so weak, man.

hello I suddenly got into hunger games fics (from reels on instagram as one does) and I read an amazing fic series called.... the ashes of district twelve by silvercistern (now orphaned) and it was written in two thousand freaking twelve and it's so good that I've basically accepted it as canon?

and the peeta's pov fics that I wrote off for some reason are next on my list after a few other post mockingjay healing/growing together.

Ya’ll cannot convince me this isn’t true. Headcanon or not he is their son and they are his birth parents.

I finished the game days ago and he literally has so much of both of them in him its crazy.

My headcanon is that his identity was concealed to protect his identity as a Kirigiri. Because as Kyoko says, Kirigiri detectives aren’t well known by choice. Yet he had Makoto’s desire to help everyone and make them happy despite that.

So he gave up his identity as a Kirigiri to protect his family’s identity. In case he ever becomes famous as his own detective. Leaving his family to grow on his own.

I feel like this would make the most sense.

i need to remember that f1 isn't some sacred, exclusive community that's only accessible to fans of it, and is actually just as mainstream as other sports. because i just saw an f1 post with over 17k notes (which i've... never seen before on here) and i was like 'damn, i never knew there were that many of us on here'. til i realised that it was, in fact, posted by someone whose account wasn't f1 centric, and was mostly interacted with by other non-f1 accounts. it's literally equivalent to someone just posting a silly sports meme. and it boggles my mind.
