the delightful combination of ken/goro/futaba all being shido siblings is a wonderful mental image, so thank you for that one. mostly because of how much it would piss shido off and that’s delightful to me. a terrible trio, it makes me giggle.

oh absolutely- they would all be menaces. Ken being the middle child by two weeks is also a recipe for comedy

see the problem with assigning yourself a tma fear is you either have to be really lame and like go into your traumas and psychological issues and shit to see which one lines up the best (the canon accurate approach) or you just go fuck it whatever and pick the one that sounds the most fun vibes wise (less accurate. makes my autistic soul hurt)

I just remembered this fuckin' story I had on a burner somewhere:

The main character, Connor Kageyama, was isekai'd into an otome game as an extra and is told that he has to make sure every single route is done to completion in order to go back home. Somewhat classic shit. Imagine Mobsekai, but set in Magic Modern Japan and maybe at a community college.

However, that isn't where the story begins.

Instead, the story begins after Connor completes the final route. It was decades of dealing with the same main story, with some routes of him being a little shitter, and others being this mysterious extra in the background. He's done with it all, basically a tired old man in all but looks due to Time Loop Fuckery, and is ready to leave...

And is then told that he can't, because something is interfering.

Turns out, the main heroine, Yuko Aikawa, now armed with the memories of all the time loops (or smthn, idk what I came up with) and also god-like power (don't bother asking why, don't remember atm) decides to make him her boyfriend, entirely against his will. So now he has a yandere gf with practically godlike powers-his one lethal counter (and maybe also a part of his soul, idk).

The story is just Connor trying to find a way to get back home, get Yuko off his ass, maybe save the world in the process, and also Not Die bc now he doesn't have the safety of the time loops to save him.

I called it Love Stuck: Trapped In An Otome Game By The Heroine (I think).

the thing about 2/2 is that i wouldn't change anything about how it's written so i have no fics to write about it. fics usually exist in my "let's make things better" play space but i got nothing. they did the damn thing!
