Sirius definitely finds the box and breaks into it before Regulus and James get together and makes fun of Regulus endlessly. (he never tells anyone though)

A year or so later James comes to Sirius in a panic about his developing feelings for Regulus and Sirius feels like it's karma for all the times he's made fun of Regulus for his "embarrassing crush"

He doesn't complain when they get together though.

edmond naturally attracting fireflies and quincy pointing this out with a knowing, amused expression on his face. he just knows quincy was going to say something extremely corny, something like “of course they’re gathering around you, you’re practically glowing”, but he thought better of it at the last moment.

and edmond wants to react and fluster like he usually does, scolding quincy for supposedly teasing him, but he can’t or else he’ll scare the fireflies and other forest animals away. so he just has to sit with his embarrassment while he watches quincy’s expression go from amused to outright smug.

I absolutely despise enemies-to-lovers trope, and I know everybody and their mother loves it. It's one of my biggest dislikes. Friends with benefits... Internalised homophobia (you know where one of them tells the other that they're straight after they fucked or smn)... Breaking up & making up (it has to be done in a very specific way for me to like it, it's very rarely that someone writes it right)... Single parents...
