Can we talk about how Phoebe ended up being the most powerful sister? Her empathy power gives her such a buff it's not even funny. There were so many scenes where she was able to tap into others people's powers and use it against them. Not only that, it fully enhanced her psychic being. The premonitions were already a leg up but throwing in empathy to the point where she could fully read people was such a boost. I'm sure she would've found more creative and useful ways to use it if she had been allowed to keep her powers. I'll never forgive the writers for nerfing her in season 6 and demoting her character to a basic pickme.

In the first few seasons, she was all about the craft and arguably the most knowledgeable as she was teaching Prue and Piper constantly. It hurts to see how far she fell throughout the series.

Update, turns out those two different scenes are part of these "leaks", but the criticism stays the same; the details are different in such an obvious way when comparing them -im not talking about drawing style, but the ways objects are depicted in different ways. For example, I thought the right one could be a real one or closer to it as the suitcase follows the description we got in 430 -on the sides there are white spaces in a particular geometrical shape, shrinking at the end of the sides, and has some other details under it. In the left one we get a clear rectangular white shape with nothing under it, getting bigger and taking the whole space. I still dont know how Izuku's face looks so wrong in both, or why in the same "chapter" we would get even less details in a scene just to add some more in the next page.

No matter what happens, this is still a sloppy job where we jump to different qualities from page to page, and never getting the actual level of skill the author has shown previously in the same volume.

There are some more backgrounds with more details too, but a big part of it doesnt have that at all making it feel weirder; the moments that look better are because the light work improves, but still there are scenes with worse shading than others in the middle of it -the ack of consistency cant be justified by not having enough time, as this probably was one of the chapters with most time to work on ever in BNHA.

Idk how much pressure there was, im not part of that world and ill never get what it feels like, but theres no way to consider this a great close to the series both as a story and as art -the bad anatomy doesnt make sense to me, as some stuff like Deku's finger going down weren't typical mistakes (even as a complete beginner you just had to go out of your way to depict holding a glass like that).

I don't see BNHA when I read whatever this is, I see repeating chapters 428-430 in order to quickly tell us Ochako's character isnt completed unless she tries to date Deku. Its repetitive, we go back to the past and reverse the characters (both Izuku and Ochako live in the past, even if they are trying to accomplish things everything they do turns out to be an act tinted by guilt and shame over the war according to these "leaks") without saying anything new besides what look like little character fun facts.

The lack of All Might and Wonder Duo makes this feel like it isnt BNHA, like it could never be that in the universe "431" suggested.

What if it's confirmed these aren't real pages and we've been upset over some fanart???

The best thing about my three all-time faves is that they absolutely could be friends.

I talked in the past about Killer and Lust having plenty of similarities (they both come from situations where violence was normalized to them, their souls and emotions were messed with against their will, and they both tend to be objectified a lot, with Killer being seen as a weapon and Lust as a sexual object). But also, they have plenty to give to each other. Killer can teach Lust how to defend himself better and Lust has a lot to teach him about self expression, individuality and so on.

They're a great duo already, but I can make the dynamic better by throwing Red into the mix.

My guy comes from a world that doesn't fit among the darker AUs like HorrorTale, DustTale, or Something New, but it doesn't fit among the lighter ones either. Violence was very much normalized there and he's used to being a weakling compared to those around him. Nothing but easy EXP (I don't doubt that he and his brother had come to rely on one another a ton during their time in UnderFell. Those two are codependent af and nobody will ever convince me otherwise).

He can empathize with Lust's and Killer's feelings of being something other because he was. However, he cam also teach them a lot. He can teach them how to stand up for themselves (because, while Killer knows how to fight, that guy is the worst advocate of his own boundaries), and how to truly trust. He'd be out there helping to reconnect with their bros (and maybe helping Color too since we're at it, because if Killer's there Color is never too far behind) and that's a hill I'm willing to die on.

Also, my brain gave me the name "shades of love trio" for them and it fucking slaps, so one more reason to make them buddies

- Will has a very subtle addition to masturbation and porn. Honestly the fact that he saw the humanity in Gale and Hecuba, that he saw their pain and grief and thats what made them trust him, that is so good. And the way he related to them. Goodness. And it highlights again how good a person he is, how much he feels and cares. I mean, he cried cause he had to send Mrs O Leary away, I cant with this kid-

I supposed what Im left unsatisfied with is how he still perceives himself as dumb? Baby, you survived San Fran for two months as a homeless kid without memories and pursued by different monsters who cant die. Youre the furthest thing from dumb.

He cant see this of course and while it was slightly addressed(?) by Annabeth telling him to his face that she doesnt give him enough credit, that he’s pretty smart, I dont think thats enough for addressing this particular issue. There was a time in the middle that he almost snapped because he thought Annabeth probably thinks him too dumb to know what to do next. Which I understand is frustrating to him. But to be fair this book made him look at Annabeth for a solution a lot. Theres also little comments about how when he cant think of anything - which is every 60 seconds apparently according to him- he looks at Annabeth. This doesnt help the co dependent allegations LMAO. Idk, I will die on the Hill that Percy is one of the smartest people in the series, not just emotionally but also in strategy. And theres, of course, nothing wrong with looking at the genius strategist for answers. Ive mixed feelings because definitely this is more of a Percy-insecurity issue than an Annabeth-being-bossy issue. But okay. One more book, heres to hoping we get more heart to heart on that front because Im 999998% sure she doesnt mean to make him feel stupid, Percy’s just got a lot of demons to fight but this in particular they need to figure out together. Still, its obvious how much they care for each other still. If only Dave and Hana did not piss me off at the start Id probably be a little more lenient about this.

Annabeth’s fatal flaw also makes a comeback, we love to see it.

Walker through and through, especially with his growth spurt lmao, and Annabeth’s confidence? All Leah. I can see what Rick’s trying to do. Ive no opinion on this, just pointing it out. I do love love love the live action. Just. I can see you Rick. You aint slick.

ok team gai-centric tenten headcanons now:

(handwaving canon cus idk if they even still have anbu after the war lmao but) she wants to be an ANBU and specifically requests it when kakashi becomes hokage - since kakashi is her sensei’s husband best friend, she incorrectly believes that he will grant her request. it’s because of this that the opposite happens: he explicitly DENIES her repeated requests and when she eventually confronts him about it, he’s like: well. me and gai care about you too much for me to fuck you up like that. here is a genin team that would benefit from your tutelage instead :)

tenten was neji's first real friend. but also. he used to piss her off BAD with all his fate and destiny talk, and for being an uptight clan-kid. she definitely used to pick fights with him in their academy days. he often won, but she discovered his blindspot because one time he turns his back on her and she throws a rock at him and it actually hits him. she's like "oh word? 👀 that vision's not quite 360 is it HYUGA?"

also. kinda pisses me off that neji is on a team with ROCK LEE and TENTEN, two of the canonically most pleasant, friendly and optimistic people in the konoha 11/12, and their sensei is fucking MAITO GAI, but it takes getting beat by naruto, some random jerkwad he just met, to change neji’s perspective on fate and make him less driven by his anger and hopelessness. i absolutely do not accept that, though i understand it had to happen because this is Naruto the Manga. RELATEDLY: sorry, but. for a while. tenten does not like hinata. she feels bad and guilty about it, but, well, two things. 1) (at least according to narutopedia) tenten allegedly hates weak people. based purely on what she hears from neji, she would probably categorize hinata as a weak person and 2) even if she didn’t, as neji’s literal only friend and someone who understands injustice, she would empathize with him and his hatred for the main house. in her child’s/teenage understanding of it all, she would find it perfectly reasonable that neji hates hinata, and in defense of her friend, would also not like her. she is never outright mean to hinata, because she’s not cruel! she just doesn’t try particularly hard to be her friend! hinata might not even notice it herself!! and she gets over it eventually!!

she also likes spicy food just not as spicy as gai and lee like it. her spice tolerance is like. she can eat buldak spicy ramen (original) but wouldn't touch 2x spicy, which gai and lee could eat regularly. neji cannot handle spicy food at all, bless his heart <3

ok. i'm disregarding the filler that explains how everyone became a chunin for this one:

after losing to temari so quickly and brutally, tenten OBSESSES over proving herself in this specific way. chunin exams are apparently held twice a year, so they register again–lee and neji are lowkey not ready after both getting major surgeries just a few months before, but they see how important it is to her so they register anyway and both end up getting knocked out in their final matches. that's right baby: tenten becomes a chunin first! lee and neji follow in the next exams six months later

speaking of disregarding canon: instead of gai holding them back a year, i hc that when it was time to register for the chunin exams when they were more newly a team, tenten opts not to register because she thinks they are not cohesive enough as a team (cus neji and lee are always getting into it.) neji and lee are very mad at her for this but she's actually right
