I've been loving all of these en plen aire paintings. It was a struggle but I got there in the end!
I also finally figured out how to get black with my limited kit which I was really excited about. Before it kept pulling way too red but I have definitely fixed it now

Henry Scott Tuke

🖤 Figs with Honey 🤍
- C r e a t i v e L i t e r a t u r e -
“ The piercing sunlight through the subtle coral coloured clouds above shines onto the lively foliage below. The lively plant flourishes with warm sunlight making it photosynthesis. It starts off as a foliage filled with life. Prosperous green is the colour of a veiny leaf that grows in the sunlight after absorbing clean aqua at the base. As the clock spins clockwise with the correct time, the fig foliage would wither and the moisture inside it evaporates because of the warm sunlight. The prosperous fig foliage had fig fruits growing on it’s branches and is to be eaten with drizzled floral honey. Let’s play a slow paced song to hear. Your laughter sounds funny, dear! Today was definitely sunny. We decided to make en plen air paintings with hopping bunnies near. Your oil paint is definitely a bit runny. Why are you on one knee? What’s with the glowing lights on the tree? The diamond gold ring is a must see. Our heartbeats were increasingly beating heavily. The reflective ring was as gold as a fifty. Our intentions is to have a big family. Things to go to our plan so we could breath easily. The sweetest efforts made by the black striped honey bees. This is absolutely heavenly! A moment to definitely last forever, metaphorically. Stop calling our phones, we’re a-bit busy! It’s our besties wanting to find out and hear this unforgettable story! ”

What’s your opinion museums? 😉♥️
ok you asked for it
Museums are worth so much more than just a place to take cute pictures. They bring such amazing educational content to visitors from all around the world, using world-class education systems to meet their goals. Hands on/tactile learning, visual learning, lectures, movies, videos, live demonstrations - they do it all, and they do it extremely well. Many museums give tours for children, too, allowing them to explore the spaces at their own pace and in their own language. I think the museum experience for children is SO powerful. Do you remember the first time you went to a museum? How big those dinosaurs seemed? Or how pretty the gems were? How ancient the artifacts seemed, too old to comprehend? That shit sticks with you. Museums are a way for children to learn at their own pace and about things they enjoy - I think museums can be much more valuable in regards to education than a lot of school systems! But that’s just me.
Museums also let us remember things that we should never forget. Take the Holocaust Museum in DC for example. That museum will resonate off of your bones for the rest of your life. It reminds us of the people who were affected, the things they carried, the fear they felt, the lives they lost. It reminds us to never turn our eyes away from terrible things. It’s more powerful to be in that space than any lecture could ever be.
They allow us to travel through means of art and artifacts. We can see clothes people wore in feudal Japan, Monet’s en plen aire paintings from France, wall paintings from 30,000 BCE. It moves us through the world not just country by country, but century by century.
The most amazing part of museums for me is the emotional experience. When I look at hand tools from a colonial American, I can see the hands that held it, strong and firm. I can see the woman who used the teapot to make her friends a brew. I can see the Egyptians who paddled that boat to shore, full of fish and song. I can hear the wagon wheels creak as the adventurers moved West. I can see the children playing with the kite by the lake. I can see it, I can imagine those people - someone, just like me, used this, painted this, saw this, too. It makes me so emotional. These people are not forgotten. We might not know what they looked like, but we see their tools, their clothes, and in that way, we remember them. Someone as insignificant as me can make an impact on history just because their pottery wasn’t crushed by hundreds of years of sand and mud and dirt. It’s amazing.
Museums are my life and my passion. Museum education is all I ever want to do. I want to see children’s faces light up, their eyes glistening with joy as I recount what dinosaur this was; I want to see the art major brought to tears when standing in front of a Pollock; I want to see the old man smile tearfully as he remembers his mates in the war. I want to see it, I want to be a part of it, I want to facilitate these discussions and discoveries more than anything in the world.
I need to stop bc I am literally crying but I love museums so much and I miss mine and I just want her back

We bring the natural surface/stones from Earth
Why Italian Marble Is the Finest Marble in The World. While marble is quarried in many countries around the world including Greece, USA, India, Spain, Romania, China, Sweden and even Germany, there is one country which is generally considered the home of the most high-grade and luxurious marble available
Natural stone is a sublime material. When it transpires in its most precious forms it becomes a true icon of excellence and exclusive luxury. Allowing yourself a journey through the most precious marbles, granite and natural stones in the world means being enchanted by unexpected colors, games of light and shadows, veins that seem to be constantly moving and interweave, come together, move on the surface like waves of water. Beautiful and tireless. Your journey begins here: from the White Statuario marble of Carrara …
White Statuario marble of Carrara: in the heart of Italian excellence
The White Statuario marble of Carrara is one of the most precious marbles in the world. Few materials, in fact, can compete with its transparent sheen and its incredibly compact structure. Among the main types of this material are the White Statuario Veneto Marble, which has veins in shades of grey of various sizes, and the White Statuario Extra Marble on which the veins are extremely thin and not very visible. Both these qualities are very valuable, even if the second one is truly a unique example of aesthetic perfection and grandeur. Many Italian artists from all times, have created real masterpieces with the Statuary: think for example of the “Grazie” and to “Amore e Psiche” by Canova without forgetting Michelangelo’s David, entirely carved in a single block. Today, this material is used to express luxury and magnificence especially for roofing and furnishing elements such as fireplaces, sculptures and special design creations.
The Brilliant Calacatta Carrara marble
Calacatta is one of the most precious and appreciated Italian marbles, above all for prestigious projects and extremely refined furnishing elements. Extracted from the Carrara quarries, this marble has been used since the Renaissance in the most exclusive projects for its delicate magnificence and for the ability to transmit with extreme elegance the most refined aesthetic luxury. The base of Calacatta marble is crystalline white. Depending on the color of the veins, however, we can have various types: the Calacatta Caldia is superb in shades of mint green without forgetting the Calacatta Crema in shades of light beige tending to ivory. Unique, sought-after and splendid in its enigmatic transparencies and in the brilliance of its surface is then the Calacatta Oro that gives the elegant veins in yellow-gold that literally ‘shine’ on the white surface of the base.
The warm tones of Sicily’s Diaspro
The Sicilian Diaspro is mined from the quarries of the mountains of Custonaci, in the province of Trapani. Its color is unpredictable and alternates various colors ranging from dark red to ocher yellow, with rare white intrusions. The softness of the colors gives a wonderful feeling of warmth and comfort and that is why the Diasro is mainly used for luxury upholstery and interior decorations. Among the most expensive stones in the world, Diaspro has always been sought after by Princes and rulers who wanted it for their churches, palaces and mausoleums. It was used in the splendid works of art of the “Opificio delle Pietre Dure” of Florence, a place founded by Ferdinando I de Medici in 1588 as an artistic manufacture for the production of hard stone furniture, second to none for finess of workmanship and creativity in the use of precious materials.
Brèche du Bénou marble Pride of France
French marble with an important design, the Brèche du Benou has a multi-colored gravelly structure in shades of intense yellow and green, up to pink. This is a very precious marble and has always been used for important achievements such as the decorations of the palace of Versailles (especially for the splendid fireplaces) and the interiors of famous historic buildings throughout Europe. Its dynamic poly chrome is a true piece of furniture and is transposed with fascination in both traditional and modern settings.
The White Thassos Imagine what’s Possible
The White Thassos Extra marble is a particularly precious material that comes from Greece. Its value is to have a very fine grain, which gives it a particular crystalline touch, and an absolute white background that has neither veins nor intrusions. The slabs are usually small and carefully selected according to their more candid color. Given the intrinsically beauty of the material, the most suitable processing is the polishing that makes it incredibly bright and suitable for enhancing any type of construction. Usually, White Thassos Extra marble is used for interiors, decorative objects and luxury coverings. Its superb whiteness is often enhanced by the combination with other darker marbles such as the Black of Belgium, the Portoro or the Bottochino marble.
Real stone beauty: the Belgian Black marble
Elegance: this is the most correct and exhaustive definition to describe this marvelous marble that comes from Belgium and that offers an intense black background on which a slight bright white dotting stands out. This detail gives the material an original and unconventional appearance, making it perfect in any declination dedicated both to interior design – such as stairs, floors and counter-tops – and for the preparation of outdoors. As for the finishes, the polishing is the most recommended treatment since it is particularly suitable to emphasize the aesthetic qualities of this most exclusive natural stone of its kind.
Shape your imagination with Black Portoro
A very precious marble, starting from the few quarries in the province of La Spezia that extract it and then continue with the difficulties related to the protection of the local landscape that require a particularly complicated extraction. The Black Italian Portoro is a beautiful marble, characterized by an intense and brilliant black with golden veins alternating with whitish areas of variable dimensions. In its palette there are eight variations ranging from yellow veins for its ‘large stain’ to those ‘fine stain’ up to the Black and White of La Spezia where the white spot is predominant on the grey-black background.
Style in the new standard: The Amazonite granite
Looking at a slab of Amazonite, a very precious granite from Brazil, it seems like you are in front of a contemporary work of art: it’s incredibly moving structure, in fact, creates unexpected suggestions that come to life through the thousand tons of emerald and blue. The Amazonite granite has the power to enchant those who stop to observe it and its value reinforces the magic. In luxury interior design, this material is mainly used as a coating with an open-book stain finish in small spaces, niches in showers in particular, to reinforce the en plen air effect. Not being resistant to frost, the Amazonite is unlikely to be used for outdoor installations.
Total dedication to your work with Blue Sodalite
An extremely rare and precious stone: the blue Soda-lite is an intense material that amazes with its variegated colors that range from sky blue to cobalt to reach the shimmering shades of lapis lazuli. Beautiful and very precious are also its blocks of uniform color, devoid of stains or veins, which give a disruptive perfection as magically wrapped in an incredible depth of color. This natural stone has established itself in the design of luxury environments where it has been chosen for interior cladding and highly decorative elements such as fireplaces, niches and columns. Thanks to its particularly relaxing color, the Blue Soda-lite is also very sought after for the creation of wet areas such as baths, spas and swimming
This makes marble a member of the carbonate family, cousin to limestone and magnesite. Marble can be a material on its own, or as a host rock for gemstones such as ruby, sapphire, spinel and more
Think you know with- Semiprecious marble
Marble Trend searches the world over to bring you the finest quality marble, hand selected from the source
Maximizing your Space with Onyx marble
Onyx is an exotic, rare and expensive material most suited to backlit backsplashes. The difference is the stunning patterns and veining in each slab. … Onyx is more translucent than marble, making it a great stone for lighting or for creative purposes like a backlit wall or surface that casts a glow and enhances the stone’s patterns.

Day 3: Favourite couple
- Així avui has quedat amb Hakkekkyiū, eh?
- On ets, eritrócit? Què vols jugar a fet i amagar, pot ser?
- N-no...
- Perdona?
- Què t'has cregut!?
- E-estic bé, no pateixis. Gràcies per ajudar-me.
- Hakkekyū-san?
- Quan t'he vist quieta, m'he espantat molt... He pensat que havia fet tard, que ja no...
- Hakkekyū-san! Estic bé, has arribat a temps! Veus?

My paintings from Parc de la Cuitadella in Barcelona. I wish that I had seen the heron on the griffin statue earlier, but it didn't land there until I needed to leave so I got some pictures so that I can hopefully paint from reference later

taiga - dense forest
Tumblr media
Walking amongst the trees in a dense forest full of doubt, the fruit there could be very sweet, or it could be that it is not.
One thing is reality the other, fantasy.
It could be there is no easy way, it could be there is no black or white, everything could be grey. It could be there is no time to be bitter, when there are no more options to try.
Like the dead skin of a snake, the afterbirth of change, we drag along with our feet all that rare pity and rage
In a small clearing it was found, dressed in the light of white skin playing with what’s hidden and done if your hair is blue, this is heaven.
When we are full of rose-colored hope what good are these reams of words whose leaves reflect the tree into which we will one day convert.
Walking amongst the trees, in a dense forest full of doubt, the fruit there could be very sweet, or it could be that it is not.
The sun faints between the trees guarding over the quiet tomb, graying air cooling the end days of glory and what’s to come.
Darkness falls flat with no warning, the sweetness of fruit on the lips replaces doubt with a yearning for how this life might eclipse.
The star brilliance outline the trees in this thin forest full of life, the dense darkness calls us down but we somehow fly to the light.
Floating amongst the trees in this forest now, no doubt, the fruit seems to be very sweet. We could be here or we could not.

Taiga (original lyrics in Ibicenc from the album Niu de Born - Nest of Medusa)
Camin entrte els arbres d’un bosc ple de dubtes, potser aquell fruit d’alla sigui ben dolc a potser no sigui no aixo, ni aixo.

karmina // ballet.
Though this is a skill she doesn’t practice often anymore, Karmina is actually a rather talented ballet dancer.
Years back, I’d say between the 18th and 19th century, she living with the aristocratic Siniy family, Karmina was taught a number of things that were related for the most part to---but not solely restricted---acting as a proper, dutiful landlady and being carrier of the noble family name. Consequently, she had been guided through learning about various artistic and creative fields, such as music (playing the piano, singing), drawing (sketching en plen air, to be more specific), writing poems, reading classic, modern literature and such. All things she still perfectly masters to this day.
However, the one activity that she personally enjoyed the most, that she found less bothersome than the rest, was ballet. She thought of it as quite fun. As a plus, she found it an extremely graceful kind of artistic expression, so of course she did all she could to become the best at it. Surely, she did not surpass nationally famous dancers; she did not participate in any actual choreographies and exhibitions, but she did, the more she trained, demonstrate great dexterity and determination. It’s lively, energetic, while still able to retain a classy, elegant style. Basically, the perfect activity for a being such as Karmina, who thrives on vibrant yet nimble things.
After quite literally a couple centuries of training (she kept going long enough to be able to learn the Russian Vaganova method), Karmina got tired of it, as with most things. The difference between ballet and say, piano playing, is that if she were requested to make a demonstration of her dancing skills, she would much more gladly comply. Perhaps she may not enjoy doing it on a regular schedule, but once in a while she likes entertaining others with this unexpected passion of hers.
Additional notes:
despite being extremely fragile in her human shell, practicing ballet dancing actually helped her become very flexible. Her skin doesn’t crack when she practices it. On the contrary, she is able of rather monstrous feats when it comes to twisting her body.
she can stand en pointe even without wearing appropriate pointe shoes. She can’t do it on heels, but barefoot, definitely.
