Card 1 - 10 of wands (Red Jasper)

The energy going into the this week may be a little heavy, like the world has handed you a large to-do list that you have to complete alone. Whether it’s school, work or home life, this card suggests a build up of pressure and responsibilities. And it’s not just about the amount of responsibilities that you may need to take on, you may care deeply about these tasks and responsibilities a lot as well and you may feel the need to live up to the expectations of yourself and others, thus the pressure of doing things perfectly. This card reminds you that, you are not alone, ask for help when you need so that you don’t burn yourself out this week. There will be people happy to help you out and lighten your workload. Prioritize your workload, you don’t have to do everything at once. Let go of the non-essential workloads or delegate them so you don’t get exhausted as you finish them. And remember, perfection is not required, as long as your heart is genuine and sincere, people will feel the effort put into completing these task. This week may bring may bring an overly critical energy from within. You may be prone to harsh self-criticism and hesitation, feeling like you’re not good enough or a feeling of being left behind, and having to catch up to everyone else. There could be a lack of confidence and the fear of making the best decisions that’s causing this self-criticism. Judgement reversed urges you be to be kind to yourself and trust your gut feelings and intuition. You are not falling behind, everyone unfolds at their own pace. Don’t be afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone or making the ‘wrong decisions’. Let go of the need to be perfect or make the ‘right decision’ and embrace the journey of imperfection. You may be prone to overthinking or overanalyzing and it may cause missed opportunities, so this reinforces the message of embrace change and imperfection. Energy Update: July 2025

Note: All dates and times are listed in EDT/UTC-4:00; adjust to your local time zones accordingly

July is a "7" Universal Month ["7" (July) + "9" (2025) = 16 = 1+6 = 7] in a "9" Universal Year. Seven is a number of reflection and ascension; it is a more active number where we all have the opportunity to expand and grow. This is somewhat in line with the astrology of the month, which includes an intense Mercury retrograde in Leo.

The Set Up

We begin the month with the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer, Mercury in its pre-retrograde shadow in Leo, Venus and Uranus in Taurus, Mars in Virgo, retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. By the end of the month, the Sun will be in Leo, Venus will have moved through Gemini to Cancer, and Uranus will have entered Gemini. Additionally, Mercury will be retrograde.

The Nitty Gritty

There's some interesting planetary motion this month as Mercury retrogrades, Venus moves fast to catch up to the Sun, Mars conjuncts the South Node, and Uranus enters Gemini. There are many moving parts, and we may need to stay flexible to keep up with the shifting tides. This may prove difficult for some as Mercury retrogrades in the fixed fire sign, Leo

Mercury

We are coming up fast on our second Mercury retrograde of the year, which will run from 15° to 05° Leo. All eyes are on Leo this month and, most especially, how Mercury (our planet of communication, technology, and travel) is individualized in the sign of Leo. Emphasis on individualized because Leo is the king sign, ruled by the ego to a greater or lesser degree.

From the very start, I want to be clear that I am not throwing shade at Leo or inferring that having an ego is bad. Each sign in the horoscope rules over a different part or aspect of human life, and Leo's job has always been traditionally known as the ruler. It's Leo's job to stand up in front of the crowd. It's Leo's job to be seen, villainized, and sometimes idolized. Said another way, Leo is celebrity. Leo is the "influencer." Leo is the person who makes money off their personality.

Here I speak of Leo as a concept, at the part they (to some degree anybody with a strong Leo element in their chart: Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and the North Node) play in our varying societies and group systems.

Leo stands in the limelight so that those of us who are more introverted don't have to. But the limelight is difficult, and, with a Mercury retrograde on the horizon, we will all, to a great or lesser degree, get a lesson on just how hard Mercury in Leo can be.

This is a pure Mercury retrograde, which means that Mercury doesn't make a single unexpected aspect for the entirety of this transit - from the beginning of its pre-retrograde shadow on 6/30 all the way into August and the end of its post-retrograde shadow. This adds some significance to this retrograde cycle and may intensify these lion tendencies. I expect that those who are more comfortable with Leo energy may have an easier time with this retrograde, at least initially.

The spotlight is a hot seat, and it should be treated as such. Think about how much scrutiny British royalty gets, how much the paparazzi follow around celebrities. You may need to pay off Mercury (he likes coffee, especially chicory coffee) if you want to slide under the radar all month long and into August.

I won't discuss this too much here since I've written an entire post about it that should already be available. If you're looking for more information about the specifics of this retrograde cycle, read that.

Mercury retrogrades on 7/18, so the first half of the month is our pre-retrograde shadow. Stay aware and keep a good accounting of what is coming up for you, as you may need to revisit it during the retrograde proper, which runs from 7/18 to 8/11.

Once Mercury retrogrades, standard advice applies: plan for outages and detours, proof read thrice before you hit SEND, editing will come easier than writing, say less, take more chances, and don't trust a fart.

That last one isn't actually standard retrograde advice, but it stands, so I'm leaving it there.

Uranus

Uranus is one of those planets that it feels silly to try to explain because it is the planet of unpredictability, so everything feels inherently wrong. I associate it with the lightning strike in the Tower card in the tarot (complete, unexpected, unavoidable), but its association is with The Fool. The Venn diagram in the middle of these two cards will probably give you a better understanding of this planet than I ever will.

Uranus will enter the mutable air sign of Gemini on 7/7. Uranus was last in Gemini from 1941 to 1948; yeah, those dates should look familiar. I want to point out that the radioactive bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 were made with enriched uranium. Like its namesake, the planet Uranus is fairly radioactive.

It destroys. It unmakes. Many astrologers believe there is a chance it makes space, but the toll of destruction Uranus is capable of should not be underemphasized here.

This isn't meant to scare people; this is all about knowledge. Uranus is always in our skies and therefore always in the charts; and despite what Chicken Little would tell you, the sky is not always falling. We want to watch Uranus when it makes major aspects to other planets in the skies (especially the Sun, Mars, and Saturn) and when it changes signs. On a theoretical danger scale of 1-4, I'd put Uranus changing signs at about a 1.

This is a Uranus Watch, if you will. We haven't sighted any funnels yet, but there is convection.

Uranus has been in Taurus for about seven years; it'll be nice for a change of pace. And, because of how long it takes to transit the horoscope wheel, we can say with some certainty that no astrologer knows what it will bring.

Uranus enters Gemini on 7/7, where it will immediately form a sextile to retrograde Saturn and Neptune, sitting in conjunction in the first degrees of Aries, and an ascending trine to retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. This is that outer planetary setup that I've been talking about for a while now - for the rest of this year, all of our outer planets will be sitting in aspect to each other.

Something big is shifting; only time will tell how it all turns out.

Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto

These four planets will make non-exact aspects with one another all month long. Saturn will be conjunct to Neptune; this conjunction will be sextile to retrograde Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini. Uranus and Pluto will be trine to each other. This setup will be in effect for the rest of the year, although both Saturn and Neptune will retrograde back into Pisces and sit on the other side of this planetary divide.

Every time one of our more movable planets changes signs, it will make aspects with each of these planets all at once. This is the big shift mentioned above; we know it's the real deal when all of the outer planets are involved.

As it mostly concerns the outer planets, this won't necessarily sit within our personal lives, at least not initially. This one will work from the outside in; as above, so below. This indicates a major societal shift of some kind. We'll have to wait and see what it is, but it will likely (eventually) trickle down into all of our lives. Those of us with personal planets or luminaries in the last 2-3 degrees or the first 2-3 degrees of the signs will feel it first.

As our moving planets enter the fire and air signs, they will create more positive aspects (conjunctions, sextiles, trines, and oppositions) to these planets. Things will get more complicated as they enter the earth and water signs (semi-sextiles, squares, and inconjunctions). For the rest of this year, we can assume fire and air sign seasons will just be coded as "easier" than earth and water sign seasons for this reason.

This is worth staying away of, but there's really no reason to panic at this time.

The Lights: The Sun and the Moon

As the Sun continues to make its way through cardinal watery Cancer, it is relatively unaspected. It will trine the North Node in Pisces on 7/13; this is a good day to set intentions and align more with our North Node energies and to all things Piscean in general. Then, on 7/19, it squares off with Chiron in Aries. These days in between 7/13 and 7/19 could have a bit of a feel of eclipse season, moreover, a bit of a callback to that intense solar eclipse in Aries during April of 2024, when the eclipse was closely conjunct to Chiron.

Once the Sun enters Leo on 7/22, it immediately forms an ascending trine to Saturn and Neptune in Aries and an opposition to retrograde Pluto, as I mentioned above. It also immediately sextiles Uranus in Gemini (exact the next day). This all just reads as really unpredictable; Saturn says stop while Uranus leans towards go, with all three of our outer planets being unknowable. As a general precaution, I'd keep an eye on this date (and 7/23) and lie low if you can. There could be a big reveal as the Sun shines a light on that which has been hidden.

The Sun trines retrograde Saturn and Neptune in exactitude on 7/24 (also interestingly, the day of the new moon) and opposes Pluto exactly on 7/25. This still feels more global than personal, but no guarantees with these exact days in particular and solar involvement.

Our Capricorn full moon on 7/10 is a 5/3 full moon.

10 (Capricorn Moon) + 4 (Cancer Sun) = 14 = 1+4 = 5. 5 (Capricorn full moon) + 7 (July 2025) = 12 = 1+2 + 3.

At 18° Capricorn, this full moon forms a wide trine to Mars in Virgo and aspects the lunar nodes, setting the tone for a day where putting in the work (Mars in Virgo) in your life pays out x10. It's also Thursday, which draws in much of the natural beneficence of Jupiter exalted in Cancer (in a 12° conjunction with our Sun). Think big, and make it happen. The full moon goes exact at 4:26 PM. Work your full moon magic closer to this time for the strongest results.

Our Leo new moon on 7/24 is a 1/8 new moon.

5 (Leo moon) + 5 (Leo Sun) = 10 = 1+0 = 1. 1 (Leo new moon) + 7 (July 2025) = 8.

At 02° Leo, our solar lunar conjunction interacts strongly with that major outer planetary pileup I mentioned above. The new moon will be trine to retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Aries, sextile to Uranus in Gemini, and opposed to retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. This looks like a low day, one that is better spent at home, staying aware and calming the nervous system rather than out being social or casting big magics. Practices that help to find balance in tough times will be helpful during this time.

Venus

Venus is still moving fast, trying to catch up to the Sun and Mercury after her forty-day-long retrograde back in March. She starts the month in Taurus, conjuncts Uranus on 7/4, and then immediately enters Gemini, where she will remain for most of the month.

Gemini is our mutable air sign; not the best Venus sign for consistency, but a great Venus sign for having some fun. This is because Gemini - ruled by capricious Mercury - isn't in it for a long time; they are simply in it for a good time. If you are looking for a summer fling, do it in July while Venus is in Gemini (and be honest with your partner that you are just looking for some fun - Gemini doesn't have to be dishonest).

But maybe wait until Venus pulls away from the first degrees of the month and our major outer planetary pile-up. As she enters Gemini, Venus immediately enters an ascending sextile to retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Aries and trine to retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. In other words, she won't be much fun until she escapes Saturn's clutches. She will quite quickly, though; if you are Venus sensitive, you will know when it is go-time.

Stay aware that Venus should always be read, at least partially, in relationship with her Other, Mars, who is sitting in Virgo. Gemini and Virgo are both mutable signs and naturally square with one another, but they are also both ruled by Mercury, which means that they are really more alike than they are different. This could create a lot of relationship angst this month, but it is relationship angst that is almost ENTIRELY due to a lack of communication.

Communication will solve everything this month. Oh yeah, and let's not forget that Mercury will retrograde from 7/15 on, which means it will retrograde while Venus and Mars are in the Mercurial signs.

Venus in Gemini squares off exactly with Mars in Virgo on 7/23. This is solidly within Mercury's retrograde period and a glaring red flag for breakup weather. I truly believe that couples who work well can get through this kind of shit, but it definely trips up those that can't communicate, don't align value wise, and probably "shouldn't" be together in the first place.

Again, we should approach this with understanding, not fear.

Venus enters Cancer on 7/30, relieving pressure on the Venus-Mars mutable square, which will otherwise be widely in effect all month.

Mars

Mars will be in mutable Virgo all month long, which reminds us that consistent work pays off. Besides that square to Venus, he only makes one aspect all month, but it's dozy.

He is about to conjunct our South Node at 20° Virgo.

A primer: the lunar nodes aren't objects in the sky but rather mathematical points that indicate where the Sun and Moon need to be to create our solar and lunar eclipses. Said a different way, they are pure potential. They are always read as two astrological opposites that read like an arrow in the sky: the North Node points to where we are going, what the world as a whole (and us because we are a part of the world) needs to focus on. The South Node points away from where we have been, what we are meant to get rid of or move on from.

The lunar nodes changed signs in January, so this is the first time a planet meets the South Node since it entered Virgo at the beginning of the year. For some people, this is going to be an earth-shattering day.

For others, it may show some of what is yet to unfold during our second eclipse season, when our Sun, Mercury, and Venus will move over the South Node for the first time in this cycle.

Some may not even notice it at all.

Still, I generally suggest paying attention. This is a chance to act early; sometimes, all you need is a chance. If you have a personal planet, luminary, or Saturn at or around 20° Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces (and probably Taurus and Capricorn), I would definitely pay attention.

This is the best day of the year to perform banishments, unbindings, removals, or any kind of magic done to walk away from what was. It will have all of the energy of the eclipses without the wild touch of the eclipses; use that.

energy update 🧿: 8/18/23

Things are getting real out here for real so I decided I’d give you guys an energy update and some guidance from spirit because I’m sure they’d be helpful and you’d find some peace in this reading today. So many things are shifting, we’re all undergoing so many changes and experiences and I pride myself in my ability to bring people guidance, help them understand what’s going on, confirm their intuition, and validate their experiences and beliefs. In my own life, I’ve got a very intricate and complex story of my own that I live with and alchemize to the best of my ability and draw my power and motivation from to continue striving forward and striving towards better. I want many things in life but what I want most on a soul level is a better world and I live my life every day setting forth the energy and taking actions that resonate with that goal.

When things get hard for you and you feel alone or like you’re the only person on the planet that is struggling or having a hard time to the extent that you are take power and peace from the important fact that as a collective we move through these energies and challenges together and are always in connection with another. Not to invalidate yourself and find proof that there are others in the world who are suffering as well therefore your problems are worth less but to validate yourself in knowing that we are a collective and we are breathing and pushing through this as one. 🤎

I see you purging a lot of internal energies here pile one. There’s an energy here of someone coughing up a lot of stuff they’ve had within themselves buried deep for a long time or a lot of things really coming to the surface they hadn’t seen in themselves before or things they hadn’t seen in themselves in a really long time. And all of this is coming up for a good reason because you can’t take it with you into the next step of your life. Things could feel very unstable for you at this time as well. There are a lot of insecurities coming to the surface here and maybe even aspects of someone’s shadow self and they’re really taken aback by this or are unaware of where these things are coming from. You could be experiencing a lot of shame lately as well attached to certain habits you have or there are self-limiting beliefs attached to your relationships and connections and the way you show up in them or in the way you think of these people or your connection with them.

There’s something about this energy that I’m having a hard time tapping into and really truly understanding. It seems to be like you’ve been in a very confused energy. This hurtle you’re getting over is very large and complex. I’m hearing something about someone’s home life as well being significant within this part of their lives or even just foundations in their life. People who’ve been around you a long time (ex. Parents, friends, lovers, etc.) and your connection with them and how those relationships affect you and other aspects of your life and being, I’m sensing some sort of cataclysm or some type of coming undone of something or some type of rising action leading up to or towards something here. Spirit is telling me about these things from your past or these things that have come from deep within that are coming up because there is a reset in store for you or a new life you’re about to receive. I’m hearing “things get worse before they get better” or there’s a deep internal purging happening for your greater good.

There are questions coming up about when and how things occurred and what really happened. You could be thinking back on past events or things that have happened in the past or you’ve been in this energy of digging up things. The reason behind trauma you have, how certain events in your life that caused a lot of trouble came to be, what type of people you were around, and the things that happened while you were in communication with them. I chose this young girl for the cover of pile ones pile. The inner child is very significant. The past is very significant. I’m hearing, “push. push. push.” Things could’ve been rough for you lately or you could’ve been incredibly tired or drained of energy for whatever reason but there is this need to push through and overcome and your spirit guides, I’m talking everyone, deities, guardian angels, ancestors, the divine mother. Everyone is in your ear collectively pushing you on and telling you to trudge through whatever this mud is. Life as you know it is coming. You are to be born again.

I’m hearing you hear the guides too. You’re very spiritually connected at this time. Their power runs through you. And I’m getting you could’ve been sent some kind of bad juju or people could’ve been working with deities or entities to send you trouble and misfortune and really squash your power but even these spirits want to stand behind you and support you. There’s a very powerful energy radiating from this group here. Someone has a very powerful lineage or is destined for something very big and the ancestors are not playing about you anymore they're tired of people and things bothering you or trying to stand in your way and knock you down. All these delays and all of this stuff that's come up is for a very good reason. It’s like you’re being blessed and all of your problems and anything that weighs you down and keeps you stuck is being dragged out of you. You’re coming into all your power. The spirits are getting very excited. There is about to be a celebration.

Spirit sees how energetically drained you’ve felt, how unable to do what you need to do you felt, how tired, how open and vulnerable your mind has been these past couple of days to negative thoughts and heavy emotional distress. I’m hearing a lot of you thought this energy was your own as well. There was a dangerous combination of natural purging occurring and for some of you whomever this person was doing magic on you or sending you evil eye and bad juju but you’re learning to take the energy sent to you and reel it in and turn it into your own. People are waiting and watching trying to see if you come out of this unscathed and you will because you’re protected and you’re divine. You’re being heavily advised to put your energy and your power into building this empire for yourself. Your success is brewing. Spirit wants you to take your ambition and feed it into leveling up and expanding. It’s about to be a whole new you.

With this moon card in reverse you’re releasing these fears, you’re letting all this stuff come up and you’re being empowered by it. Im hearing someone doing an evil laugh. Someone’s little villain era is coming. Justice is coming. This is not a drill. You’ve been talking to the spirits. The greats are reaching out to you. Answer the call. Your spirit team is growing. You’re about to be untouchable. Remember in The Princess and the Frog when Dr. Facilier was talking about how he had friends on the other side? This is exactly that energy lol.

Spirit has a lot of messages for you. I didn’t ask for this many cards but they were adamant on the amount they gave me. I’m getting this urgency or this high priority. You need to hear this they want you to receive it. They gave me 11 cards. 11 is a very powerful number all on its own. But as a soul number, it is magnificent. this blew my mind on a personal level. I see you working on something, this is big, it’s personal. You could be doing a lot of inner work or you could be really growing or preparing for something or all three of those things but there’s an energy of preparation, getting ready to receive a large blessing or getting ready for something big to come into fruition for you and preparing yourself to be the person you need to be to receive it. And I hear you’re working on this behind people's backs or you’re real quiet like about it. 🧿. I’m hearing you get what it means and how important it is to keep things private in order to protect them while you’re waiting for them to come to fruition for you or grow.

You’re about to come into some money here, you’re about to step into this big provider energy or you’re working on your finances so that you could be this figure. Some of you or building lives for yourselves in general, for some of you, you’re masculine energies and you’re building yourself up and getting your money and finances together to give someone the offer of a lifetime. There could’ve been a lot of inner conflict that you had and held onto that kept you from having something you truly wanted or getting this key wish fulfillment in your life and this time is coming to an end for you with this five of wands in reverse. You could’ve been holding onto a karmic lover as well or karmic people and karmic cycles and you’ve just about dropped all of this. I’m getting the energy of you casting these energies out or exorcising these energies out of your life and from within you.

And there’s conflict here regarding whatever it is or whomever it is you’re getting rid of cause whatever it is or whomever it is has their claws in you deep or it doesn’t want to let go of you because they sense that you’ve got big energy and you’re destined for great things but these people and things are leeches and energy vampires and I’m hearing you really don’t give a fuck at all. You’re ready to finally go to war behind your peace and behind what’s yours. You’re coming into your power and seeing your strength here. You’re manifesting your happiness. In life, in love. And you’re ready to receive it. There are very big gifts and very big wish fulfillments coming in for you or that you desire. And using the word happiness doesn’t feel big enough or even like it fully encapsulates what type of abundance, peace, and wholeness we’re talking about coming in for you. This is huge. Things are about to shift drastically. I’m hearing in a week or a month. And once those floodgates open the abundance isn’t going to stop flowing in. Like I’m getting a high flood warning here or a tsunami. It’s gonna wash anything in its path away.

Whatever these karmic people or relationships are or energies are, they’re gonna come crashing down very soon. Expect it. And I’m hearing you’ll be unscathed by this because you know it was time and behind this gigantic tower of karmic energies lies a bright meadow. You will be able to watch the sun being born. Any type of inner confusion and illusions will be done for and dealt with. Your spirit guides and ancestors are going to finish these people and these energies off, pack your shit and they’ll handle the rest. There’s a car waiting for you outside. You’re taken care of and protected. You’re gonna be in tune with your intuition, with the divine mother (God), with your higher self, with your ancestors as these events have birthed a spiritual awakening for you. Your time is now. Nothing can stop you where you’re going. Any type of heartbreak. Any blockages. Any type of feelings of shame or disappointment and anger. Will be washed away and gone forever. Your divine feminine is coming (or divine masculine). In separation? Not anymore. No contact? No. Union? Yes. Spirit is having all your boxes checked for you.

Spirit is telling me that you’ve been harvesting a lot of ambition. There is something that you want. A lifestyle you desire, a connection, whatever this wish fulfillment is you’re very determined to get it. You have to have it. It will be yours. You could be working very hard towards financial independence or are manifesting financial independence and spirit is telling me that money is necessary to get where you want to go or to give yourself the opportunities that you want within this life. You could’ve come from poverty here or there’s some type of aspect of your early life or some type of conflict in these foundational areas in your life that bring about this manifestation or this desire to be abundant and have these things for yourself.

There’s something coming in here too about you finally having the energy and the true desire to evolve and express yourself and show yourself to the world. You could’ve talked about these manifestations or talked about your desires a lot and may not have taken any action towards these dreams or put as much energy as you could’ve into these manifestations but that’s not going to be your reality anymore. Like I’m hearing you’ve had a sudden realization or some type of power up or something happened around you that really pushed you into this space of self-awareness and self-growth. This could’ve been some sort of large loss. A loss of a connection or something incredibly significant that you could’ve sucked a lot of energy from or kept yourself supported against.

You could’ve lost a friend or a lover or a family member that you really leeched off of (even if you weren’t consciously aware) this person gave you a lot of validation, gave you a lot of energy, or really kept you in an energy where you weren’t tuned into the energetic frequency to tune in and understand what you needed to do, how you needed to change or wake up to realizing that the life you were living, the habits, the mindsets, the behaviors you held onto weren’t good for you and weren’t going to get you the happiness and abundance you’d been asking spirit and the universe for. This person pulled themselves from underneath you and it may have really shaken you up and sent you into a dark night of the soul and really shone some light on your shadow.

But now that this mental clarity, this breakthrough, this newfound perspective, and understanding have been bestowed upon you, you’re stepping into your power and mustering up the energy and the courage to completely transform your life. You could’ve played a significant role in this person's life and could’ve been the villain in their story or simply just weren’t able to be the best person to them at the time that you knew them and it was within your path and within this persons divine purpose to shake things up for you and teach you a lesson by taking their leave. Your nine of cups is coming. Finally, you’re going to be happy and content in life or be able to have something to show for in all areas of life and be able to truly curate the lifestyle and the experiences you want for yourself.

This situation was meant to give you courage and push you into the action you needed and open up your mind so that you can improve and do better.

Some of you have been disconnected from a connection that has played a large part in your life or kept you in one place, physically speaking or emotionally and spiritually. This could’ve been someone who contributed to self-limiting beliefs and insecurities within self and/or played a role in your life that brought to light any self-limiting beliefs and karmic energies or aspects of your shadow self. I see someone recovering here or coming to terms with some sort of ending or coming to terms with some sort of truth that was revealed to them in terms of this connection and in terms of their own belief systems, behaviors, and views of self. You could feel very alone right now and may even be in an energy of pessimism or be incredibly worried or anxious at this time due to rapid change and not knowing where you’re headed or what’s going to happen next.

But, this person, this connection or whatever this is that you’ve been disconnected from was divinely orchestrated and you’re being realigned or your path here or I’m hearing rerouted and turned around. Whatever this was, was meant to be temporary for you and you weren’t meant to keep it. I’m hearing it’s not yours to keep. If this is a person, they could’ve not done anything inherently bad to you or said anything hurtful or harmful but they could just have simply not been super into you or your energy and may have left you feeling very needy and unheard and unseen oftentimes. I’m getting that this person isn’t YOUR person or your divine counterpart and this is why they aren’t deeply connected to you and this person may hide this from you or be very guarded and out of reach. This relationship or this person was meant to send you into hermit mode, into isolation so that you can see yourself and identify what needs to be worked on and be pushed into self-growth and expansion.

You could’ve gone out of your way to keep this person or bent over backward to try to keep this person in your energy and may have really stepped into a side of yourself that isn’t very good at making decisions or who doesn’t value herself/himself and behaves in a way that reflects that. Everything that’s come up and is coming up is for a reason, for you to look at and see for yourself because whatever this is has caused a bit of a tower moment for you I’m getting. This person or whatever this is could’ve been taken from you already or you could be on the verge of disconnecting with this person or breaking up with this person. I see you being very exhausted, burnt out, and confused. You could be really in your head about this or really heavily thinking about what’s going on within your connection or the things about you that have come to the surface.

There may be conflict about this situation with this person. I’m hearing arguments or disagreements or this really heavy push-and-pull dynamic. You could be pulling this person, trying to remove blockages and barriers and they’re pushing you away further and moving further away from you and you may be feeling a lot of loss and heartbreak regarding this situation. I hear you being very frustrated and not really truly understanding why you’re experiencing what you’re experiencing. And it has everything to do with you and your own shadow and self-limiting ideas and beliefs. This person reflects back to you, your own karmic energies. When you decide to hold self-respect for yourself and release things that are no longer serving you and take the leap and make that decision to be done with this because you’re no longer choosing to live this way or accept this for yourself things will begin opening up for you and you will then have time for yourself to grow the way you’re meant to. This person is a karmic. They may not be intentionally or consciously causing you harm or mirroring back to you your own karmic energies but they need to. You and this person are and were teaching each other important lessons. You’re teaching them the reality of choosing to be where you do not truly desire to be. And they’re teaching you what it feels like to not be valued and that it is your choice to continue to be treated that way and not grow into an energy of self-love and alignment.

Energy Update: June 2025

June is a "6" Universal Month [6 (June) + 9 (2025) = 15 = 1+5=6] in a "9" Universal Year. Six is a calm and balanced number, a slowdown after the chaos wrought by "5". It also carries a hint of manifestation as it is "3" doubled. When you add another three, you end up at the "9" of completion - the number representative of this year. It may unfold slowly and with more grace than the months prior, but things are still changing and moving at an alarming rate. This shows up both in our astrology and in our numerology for the month.

The Set Up

We begin June with the Sun Mercury and Jupiter in Gemini, Venus Saturn and Neptune in Aries, Mars in Leo, Uranus in Taurus, and retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. There is a lot of planetary movement this month: the Sun will enter Cancer, Mercury enters Cancer and moves on into Leo, Venus enters Taurus, Mars enters Virgo, and Jupiter enters Cancer. That means every single one of our personal planets and one of our intermediary planets are on the move.

As above, so below; we can all expect to be on the move as well.

The Nitty Gritty

As June unfolds, we will begin to recognize one of the major themes for the rest of this year. Our outermost planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) have all recently changed signs or are about to change signs, which puts them all clustered together in the first degrees of the air and fire signs. Saturn and Neptune are sitting at the beginning of Aries, Uranus will soon move into the beginning of Gemini, and Pluto is in the first degrees of Aquarius. As our more movable planets (the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and - to some degree - Jupiter) also change signs, they will activate every one of these outer planets simultaneously.

Over and over again. Basically, for the rest of this year.

I bring this up now because this is a repeating sequence of transits that will really need a lot of awareness to navigate successfully. A lot of what unfolds may feel like it is beyond your control; these are the outer planets in play, after all.

Now, all but Uranus have fallen into line to begin this activation. The pieces are in place, and we may feel like we are stepping into and out of a repeated lesson as this unfolds. With so many planets in play, its hard to predict how any individual person will be impacted by this; but it might be wise to look at where the beginning of Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius falls in your charts. If you have a luminary (especially) or personal planet in the first degrees of any sign, you should be paying attention - these planets will be holding long-term aspects with that planet for the next year, or longer.

It is fitting, then, that we begin this activation as our Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter enter Cancer and square off with Saturn and Neptune.

00° Aries, sorta, and our Saturn-Neptune conjunction

I've been talking about this for a while now, and we're moving away from the most concentrated point of this activation for the year, but it's worth noting that both Saturn and Neptune are sitting close to this degree (they will conjunct at 2° Aries on 6/18). Additionally, the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter will enter Cancer this month and directly square off with Saturn and Neptune.

Oh my dear cardinal signs - y'all have been in the hot seat since 2020. Thankfully, if anyone can stand in the fire for that long, it is Aries.

Saturn and Neptune at the same time is a hard pill to swallow because it isn't there. At least not when you look for it. Saturn is the most grounded planet (since we don't count Mother Earth), and Neptune is nebulous on a good day. These two energies do not get along; in fact, they can barely stomach one another. If you know what you need to do but instead find yourself off chasing butterflies, know that you are right on time.

Saturn is the planet of restriction and restructuring. Neptune is associated with faith and the higher realms, sometimes with spiritual awakening. As you can see, those two things don't seem to go together. I have lived through one other Saturn-Neptune conjunction, but just barely. This is indicative of some significant shift - one that is far beyond the personal. (If you have a planet at 03°, it may become personal, though, especially if it's 03° Aries or Libra)

If you're astrocurious (like to live through transits with your eyes wide open) like I am, circle 6/18 on your calendar and pay attention. Keep in mind that this conjunction will be in effect all month long, the 18th is simply when it reaches exactitude. Are you identifying more with Saturn or with Neptune? Are you feeling the pull of both of these planets? This is intense Saturn in the 1st House AND Neptune in the 1st House energy right now - even if Aries is not the ruler of your first house.

Next, circle these dates:

6/9 - Mercury in Cancer squares Saturn and Neptune in Aries 6/15-6/19 - Jupiter in Cancer squares Saturn and Neptune in Aries 6/22 - Sun in Cancer squares Saturn and Neptune in Aries

These days hold all of the potential inherent in a cardinal square. Use them, or they will use you. Schedule yourself higher-energy activities on these dates if you are prone to mania or anxiety due to an excess of energy. You may need to run yourself ragged around these dates just so that you can sleep at night. Apply self-care liberally during this time. You might need extra support here; may I suggest Tulsi, vinyasa, and deep grounding stones like obsidian or black tourmaline as great allies all month long. Likewise, maybe avoid caffeine and other stimulants, and steer clear of things like quartz unless you are very knowledgeable on how to release excess energy. (A great time to make a battery, though.)

For most people, everything else that comes up this month will pale in comparison to these aspects. I'll discuss them individually in their own sections.

The Lights: The Sun and the Moon

As the Sun moves through Gemini, it is mostly unaspected other than a t-square to the lunar nodes - as it enters Cancer, it squares off with Saturn in Aries and conjuncts Jupiter. This shows us that our personal lives will be taking the backseat this month to what is happening in the world around us - everything is, for the most part, transpersonal. This isn't to say that it doesn't affect us personally, because we still need to LIVE in this world, but it's only in our homes as an afterthought.

That might be little to no comfort for those in it right now, and I understand that.

Our full moon peaks on 6/11 at 20° Sagittarius, closely square to our lunar nodes, which are sitting at 23° Pisces and Virgo. This will create a mutable grand cross in the sky between the Sun in Gemini, the South Node in Virgo, the Moon in Sagittarius, and the North Node in Pisces. This is the middle point in the year between our eclipse cycles, and it will carry much of the energy of eclipse season because it aligns so closely to our full moon for the night. From a wide enough lens, the mutable signs are all about adaptation; where do you need to bend in your own life so that you don't break?

There is an opportunity here from the full moon's peak on Wednesday, 6/11, to the Sun's exact square with the lunar nodes on Friday, 6/13. The lunar nodes bring chance to the table, but it's not just any chance; it's the chance to align with the path of your own life. Pay attention to these three days, and note what is showing up for you and what is mysteriously absent. There is art in reading the events associated with the lunar nodes that must be self-taught, so far as I can tell. Write down every detail of what happens to you and then refer back to these notes when we reach our second eclipse season in the late summer.

Our Sagittarius Full Moon is a 3/9 Full Moon.

9 (Sagittarius moon) + 3 (Gemini Sun) = 12 = 1+2 = 3. 3 (Sagittarius full moon) + 6 (June 2025) = 9.

It's worth noting the numerological synchronicity here. Gemini is our third astrological sign, and 2025 is a "9" Universal Year, so both the sign and the year are represented here. Additionally, three multiplied by itself is also nine. Three is the number of lesser manifestation, and nine is the number of greater manifestation. This is the divine right time to use this to your advantage - check out my 3x3 post for more details on how you can do this!

The Sun enters Cancer on 6/20, the Solstice, and the beginning of the Summer season. This is the height of solar energy for all those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, and the divine right time to work solar magic or honor the Sun. Now, in Cancer, the Sun immediately interacts with the planets mentioned above by squaring Neptune and Saturn in Aries.

This is actually the third pass of this we will have experienced this month, Mercury squares Saturn (let's put Neptune aside here) on 6/9, and Jupiter squares Saturn on 6/15. Now the Sun does so on Sunday, 6/22.

This will likely be a challenging day and one of the first big checkpoints on our new Saturn in Aries journey. We've had a couple of weeks to grapple with Saturn's long-awaited return to the 1st sign in the zodiac, and now it's time to get real with how we feel about things. Immature Cancer energy will throw an absolute fit and make it everyone else's problem. Mature Cancer energy feels it to work through it. Nobody can escape the pressures of Saturn, no matter how far we run; time catches up to us in the end, so it's best to try to manage mature Cancerian reactions in this regard.

Not everyone will succeed, and that's okay, too. We're not about shaming here; this is about creating a better understanding. When we see the bigger picture, we find opportunities to step out of reaction and into awareness.

Then, on 6/24, the Sun conjuncts Jupiter at 03° Cancer. This is our best day of the entire month (even though both the Sun and Jupiter remain in a descending square with Saturn). The world was shit out of luck while Jupiter transited Gemini, the sign of its exile, from 2024 to mid June of this year. Now, our Greater Benefic is in the sign of its exaltation and conjunct to the Sun. This is a good day to have a good day. Treat yourself and watch it ripple through your life.

This will continue the next day when the Sun and Moon meet at 04° Cancer for our new moon of the month, which is still exactly conjunct to Jupiter. This is one of the best days of the year to start something new, especially if you do so from a place of reciprocity and generosity. I will try to write more about this date as we grow closer (yell at me if I haven't gotten to it yet).

Our Cancer New Moon is an 8/5 new moon.

4 (Cancer Moon) + 4 (Cancer Sun) = 8. 8 (Cancer new moon) + 6 (June 2025) = 14 = 1+4=5.

This echoes what I was just saying - 8 is the infinity sign or the ouroboros. It is the cosmic reminder that what comes around, goes around. Every action has an equal (and opposite) reaction. The world always turns. Day becomes night to become day again. Give freely, knowing that you will receive as much back in return.

On 6/26, the Cancer Sun sextiles Mars in Virgo, a day to put in the work to get what you want out of life. Do the work now; Mars in Virgo is on your side.

Mercury

Mercury is moving ahead of the Sun, so we can expect to see the same aspects, albeit earlier in the month.

On 6/5, Mercury in Gemini squares off with the lunar nodes, creating a mutable t-square in the sky. This is a great day if you are looking for inspiration or some answers, but just know that you need to be prepared for the Truth (something that many people don't like - I'm looking at you Piscean types).

Then, on 6/8, Mercury conjuncts Jupiter at 29° Gemini and then moves into Cancer. (The next day, Jupiter also moves into Cancer, we can see this as the two planets doing it "holding hands", it's quite auspicious for our Traveller to guide Jupiter into the sign of their exaltation) That said, they both immediately square off with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, which is a Full. Stop.

Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

This is a cosmic stop sign, for sure. But if any planet can get under Saturn's radar enough to not have to stop, it is Mercury. IYKYK

Mercury is moving fast and covering more than one sign in a single month, a sure sign that they are reaching towards another retrograde cycle. By 6/21, Mercury in Cancer will trine the North Node in Pisces; this is a sweet watery glimpse into the future. You will almost certainly have to let it flow to get anywhere with this transit, but the possibility IS there.

Then, they square Chiron on 6/24 - watch what you say and how you say it, as words hurt a lot more than the nursery rhymes say they do.

On 6/26, Mercury enters Leo. They quickly trine Saturn and Neptune and oppose retrograde Pluto on 6/28 and 6/29 before entering their pre-retrograde shadow on 6/30 at 04° Leo. We should all be very relieved to see that build up of planets outside of the Mercury's next retrograde cycle. Mercury will retrograde on 7/18 at 15° Leo - stay tuned!

Venus

Venus is still paying catch-up after her retrograde cycle in March. As she moves through the last degrees of Aries, she conjunctions Chiron at 25° on 6/1 and sextiles Jupiter in Gemini on 6/5. In the sign of her exile, she is doing us no favors. Thankfully, she enters Taurus (her domain) on Friday, 6/6. I want to emphasize this again: VENUS ENTERS TAURUS ON FRIDAY 6/6. If only six was also the domain of Venus, but alas, we should be grateful for the astrological opportunities we DO have.

This is the best day of the year to work Venus magic. This day will lead itself to the earthy, Taurus side of Venus - more sensual and experience-oriented than relationshipy and social. That said, any Venus energy can shine through when Venus enters a new sign on a Friday.

In Taurus, Venus makes a weak semi-sextile to Saturn and Neptune, which is barely worth noting, and a fixed square to retrograde Aquarius on 6/9. That's the same day that Jupiter enters Cancer and that Mercury in Cancer exactly squares Saturn, so stay aware. Watch out for excess, one of Venus in Taurus's less-than-desirable traits.

Once she passes this threshold, Venus is free of any other major aspects for the rest of the month—she is pure Taurus beneficence. This is a nice reprieve from these other planets that are interacting more closely with Saturn, who's being even more of a Debbie Downer than normal.

Venus is a place to hide all month long, not in a pathological way but rather in the way that finding more joy in the world is always an antidote to sorrow. Find a new favorite song or dance with some fireflies. Romanticize your own life. Eat some fresh strawberries (pick them if you can!) and don't skimp on the whip. Taurus has never cared one bit about practicality in regards to truly enjoying life.

Mars

Mars is out ahead of the pack, chugging away in Leo. He trines Chiron on 6/10, an echo of Venus' own conjunction to Chiron a few days earlier on 6/1 - this shows that the first days of the month may be somewhat painful, relationally. Venus and Mars should always be read at least somewhat as a pair because together they make up the energy that the collective we that is humanity brings to the table. With both of our interpersonal planets aspecting Chiron, something is going to hurt. It's not likely to be that personal (Chiron is the incurable wound), but people will take it personally between 6/1 and 6/10. If you are someone who can get really triggered, watch yourself, and all of us might want to avoid those people in our lives who make their lives our problem.

Then, Mars in Leo squares off with Uranus in Taurus on 6/15. We should all be thankful that this is the last time we'll experience this square as Uranus will make its way out of Taurus (finally!) later this year. Watch out for explosions of all kinds - literal and more metaphorical. Uranus in Taurus is instability in a fixed earth sign, which is an augury for natural disasters at baseline and square to Mars, the planet of action. Just don't take any unnecessary chances on and around 6/15. There are bound to be more slipups and oopses around this date, and you don't want to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

On 6/17, Mars enters Virgo, which puts a laser focus on effort and follow-through. Virgo isn't Mars's fastest-moving placement (by a long shot), but it brings the energy of effort to the table. Set your intentions to show up for yourself every day, to the best of your current ability. We will all need to watch out for being nitpicky or overly critical, as well.

Mars in Virgo sextiles Jupiter in Cancer on 6/22, a lucky day. This screams hard work paying off more than a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. This is undoubtedly a day to expect nothing less than what you deserve.

If you follow through, there might be great rewards down the road.

Jupiter

As mentioned above, Jupiter finally exits Gemini for the mutable water sign of Cancer on 6/9, and we can all breathe an intense sigh of relief. Everything was slightly unlucky as Jupiter transited Gemini, the sign of its exile, but Cancer is the sign of its exaltation. Just like we could all lose while Jupiter was in Gemini, we can all win while Jupiter is in Cancer.

Jupiter will square off with Saturn as they enter Cancer, so the winning might not be apparent in those early days following 6/9, but the opportunities will soon appear. Look towards the days when the Sun conjuncts Jupiter on 6/24 and Venus conjuncts Jupiter on 8/11 as perfect days to do positive/increasing magic of all kinds.

Looking Forward

This pattern I mentioned has set pretty far in by now, and we'll continue to experience this in July as Uranus moves into Gemini and Saturn retrogrades, beginning its backward journey towards 00° Aries all over again. As our planets move through Cancer, they square off with Saturn and Neptune; as they move through Leo, they trine Saturn and Neptune and oppose Pluto. Each of our personal planets is going to move through this progression.

Some of you are undergoing some really heavy transitions here and some of are you are about to stepping into manifestations or be given things you’ve been asking for long term or things that were divinely orchestrated for you to have as these things are part of the divine plan for you to come into, it was only a matter of time I just heard. Someone or some of you have done a lot of inner work or undergone a lot of tower moments within the last couple of years or beyond that. There’s emphasis on past life karma or deeply rooted triggers, past situations or nostalgia weighing heavy on the heart chakra. Issues and blockages with the nervous system are significant as well. Some of you who this message is for may not have super trivial or turbulent pasts or can’t think of anything that has happened to you that may have caused significant damage or changes but some of you have had a humble beginning or have had to pave the way for yourself for a long while and are making breakthroughs at this time, I just heard “debut” someone actually makes music but there’s an energy of those who are being blessed soon being given the opportunity to really step outside of their shell or step outside of a version of themselves or a version of their reality that was stagnant or was limiting for a really long time. Someone is due for a heavy reset in their lives as well and is being pushed to leave all things behind.

Whomever this person is has dealt with a good amount of loss or was being prepared to make these steps for the past couple of months as they went through a consistent process of having to let things go that they carried with them a long time and this is sort of a climax moment in your plot here. You made a physical transformation (through appearance perhaps and/or most certainly through people and environment) there may be people from your past or people you’ve let go of whose karma is coming around to them soon or were taken aback by the move you made to move forward without them and are going to continue to be taken aback for whatever is coming for you next or whatever you’re about to come into. i just heard, "you need to stop hiding." someones fear of being seen made a spontaneous return or there was some sort of extinction burst here but spirit says that behavior isn’t going to do moving forward.

Someone is struggling with guilt or a lot of unresolved feelings and deeply rooted issues or emotions regarding various situations within their past but there’s a message here about coming up on the moment where it’s finally time to let these things go. Indefinitely. Someone had some sort of “villain origin story” or some sort of large emotional catalyst that caused them a lot of chaos and pain I’m hearing but you can’t take that with you where you’re going. Whatever you’re about to receive is on its way but while you wait confront all these things that are coming up to the surface to be let out and resolved. You’re sensitive to energies at this time as well, you know what people are thinking of you or how they feel about you on an internal scale whether they want to admit it or not but this is there problem don’t let their energy dictate the way that you feel. Whatever guilt you’re holding onto, whatever energy they’re sending that you’re absorbing, you need to release. You did the best you could, let it go. Forgive yourself and forgive others. Let it go.

Letting things go is very significant at this time. Don’t let other people’s thoughts, energies, perceptions of you or intentions hold you back any longer. Take all your power back. 2023 is significant as well as 2022 and 2020/2021. There’s a lot of unresolved bullshit within the heart chakra that may be effecting the solar plexus as well as the sacral chakra, I almost said root, the root as well.

Heart: love, healing, acceptance

Mantra: “I love..”

Solar plexus: vitality, manifestation

Mantra: “I do..”

Sacral: creativity, abundance

Mantra: “I feel..”

Root: survival, trust, grounding

Mantra: “I am..”

Pay really close attention to where all your emotions are felt in the body when triggering emotions or thoughts arise within you. The chakras I just channeled tell me a lot about what’s been going on within the collective and where a lot of these trigger points or internal emotions or dialogue are sitting. There’s a lot of crisis or reflection regarding who you loved, what you loved, what you were passionate about, how you loved, what love meant to you, and that experience and what you did/were doing in the name of love or in the energy of love, there’s a LOT of feelings and unresolved emotions and just *shit* really that’s sitting within oneself regarding all of that and who that makes you or your essence!! Forgive yourself for the mistakes you made, for the times when you couldn’t love yourself beyond how much you loved others, and for some of you make peace with the fact that the hardship is over and you did what was asked of you and stood tall in what you loved, believed in and were passionate about despite what you faced from others. A lot of this hardship took place 2020-2023 for a lot of you. Remember who you are, what makes you who you are, your essence, your power, your energy, your strength! There’s a lot of self hatred or some overly critical energy you’ve picked up along the way that’s coming up. Someone feels like throwing up or has been nauseous lately. A physical manifestation of spiritual and internal purging.

Energy update

what is going on in the enegery field ~ a perspective

It's been a while since the last update. Proof, if you needed it, that I am not exempt from turbulences - and whatnot - in the energy field.

August has been an interesting month for sure. Lots of upheaval and things being stirred up. Too much to go into detail here, or even a summary. I don't actively remember most of it, in any case.

So just know that if your life has been particularly challenging over the past four weeks? You are not alone, and it's not your fault, either. You are part of the whole, part of everything-that-is-moving. And as it moves around you, so do you.

Or not, which is then the point where things will get harder, tougher, and more challening. Think about it. If everything moves and you don't - what happens?

Resisting the movement will only increase hardship, pain, and suffering.

So if things have been unbearable / challenging / tough on you? Ask yourself where you are holding on. Where is the attachment? And can you soften it, if only a little bit? You might not be ready to fully let go, to go all in. And that's fine!

Yet maybe you can soften a little bit? Allow change a little bit?

Because I cannot sense things getting any easier from here on out.

Because my sense of the energy field, right now, at this point ~ is of a vast opening. A space has opened that was not there before. A space in the fundamental construct of our reality. Only the frame is left, at this point ~ all the intricate little cogs and wires have been unravelled, have been removed.

Heartfelt gratitude to the Anu. This is how we can unravel what is to make way for what comes without everything exploding.

But. That open space, that expansion is not a soft one. Oh, no, not at this point. Something fundamental has been removed, the energy realigned ~ and as in the energy field, so in you and me.

There is a space that was not there before, a silence that used to be filled with noise ~ and in that space, that silence things will rise that we ... repressed, refused to look at; forgot.

In that space, in that silence, our inner shadow will become more visible. The old identies and constructs, limiting beliefs and traumas.

For many of my clients, the inner child has come forwards.

And this, to my sense, is what is happening: that space is now confronting us with the Hard Shit. The uncomfortable parts of our Self. The things we didn't want to look at.

The pain. The fear. The desolation. The desparation. The shame. The grief. The disappointment.

This new opening is not gentle. And in that, it is kind. It offers the space, the silence, for each one of us to really look inside, to go even deeper than before ~ and work with what we find.

And work with what we find we must. I cannot feel we will be given any other choice. Not if we are genuine and committed in walking the spiritual path, in following our soul, in realising our authentic self ~ in ascending.

This is not the point where you make the decision. That point is long past. This is the point where you are asked to step up.

This may sound harsh. Maybe it is. Maybe it needs to be to convey the pressure, the sense of urgency I'm sensing when tuning into that new expansion.

Do it. Do it now. Now is the time.

Refine your spiritual practise. Is it still working for you? Does it require adjustment?

Can you do a little more of it? Not heaps, not hours. Just a little.

Meditate for five minutes longer. Sit down twice a day. Meditate in the mornings, practice deep-consciouness bodymovement in the evenings.

Focus on all the ways you can connect to yourself, to the feeling-sense of Soul. Settle in that feeling-sense as much as possible; ground yourself in it, in yoourself.

From that settled, grounded place it becomes much easier to be with what is being stirred up, to work with what is presenting.

Ground yourself so that you cannot lose yourself.
