I agree with classist Alfred but I am always a believer in him hating Steph the most. Like when Tim was pissed at Bruce for telling Steph his identity Alfred was defending him with “oh you know he’s bad at communicating, and he takes secret identities very seriously yadda yadda yadda.” But in the Same Issue he tells Steph he blames her for upsetting Tim by being told his identity by Bruce (which I can’t state enough how little it was her fault, like she did try to find his identity in the past, but this was an entirely unrelated event where Bruce just straight up came up to her and told her) and he thinks it was a bad idea for Bruce to add her to the team.

I think for Alfred Steph and Jason are on the same level in the sense they're the lowest class out of all the bat children as such they both deserve the least respect especially compared to Tim who is himself from an upper class background

Fanfics and art are telling me that the whole Megatron nearly killing Twitch when under Mandroid’s control thing in the Season 1 finale would have been a really interesting thing to explore after the fact. I mean, in the storyboards at least, Megatron was crying during that scene, it’s prime angst material

It’s really disappointing then that they didn’t do anything with this plot point. And worse, there was a 1 year timeskip between Seasons 1 and 2, so there’s barely any reason to bring it up other than it happening, nothing about their feelings on the matter

cannot stop thinking about the trope of “character who refuses to ever talk about his trauma/admit he needs help” who has close ones who don’t even know exactly what it is he’s gone through bc he just will Not talk about it (both out of yknow not wanting to go through it all again, but also bc he doesn’t want to be seen as weak/be pitied), finding out by accidentally seeing some record of it. like a video, audio recording, detailed report, pictures, etc. and suddenly having that horrific realization of “oh my god he was dealing with this The Whole Time and never said anything”

OR ALSO the character’s close ones overhearing him going through something while it’s happening (with or without the character knowing): security cam, over comms, etc. They’re all in shock just listening to what’s going on, but after the fact when he’s saved he’s just like “yeah i’m fine it wasn’t that bad” while everyone’s like ?????? we saw it!! we heard it!! the fuck!! bonus points if he cried/whimpered/screamed during but didn’t know they were watching and is absolutely mortified when he finds out that they heard him start to break. and god forbid someone try to approach him after the fact to ask if he’s okay

there’s just something about the idea that the only way that anyone will ever find out the truth is by witnessing it against his will
