Eversharp Gold Seal Emblem Senior Fountain Pen Box Set
Tumblr media
- Eversharp Gold Seal - SENIOR largest size of the series - Gold seal "double-tick" emblem representing Eversharp's lifetime warranty - Part of the Personal Point Line - Equi-Poised - Twin Tassie ~ Broad Art-deco Cap Band &amp - Roller Pocket Clip - Pen and pencil box set - perfect for gift for someone special Eversharp gold seal pen set - Up here is a vintage Wahl Eversharp gold seal equipoised fountain pen and pencil box set, which was manufactured in USA circa 1930s. In 1930s, Wahl-Eversharp introduced the 'Equi-Poised', which advertised as 'Equally Balanced' to emphasize its ergonomic qualities. And this is the early version of the 'Doric'. This 'Equi=poised' was part of the Personal Point line. The Wahl-eversharp for your consideration here is a fine example. The pen is large and bold, JUMBO MAXIMA of the series, with overall length 5-3/8 inches. It comes with its original Eversharp hard gift box. The pen set is in stunning shiny marble black pearl colour, with a broad art-deco gold cap band and roller pocket clip, which are very attractive. On the cap an gold seal emblem, representing Eversharp lifetime warranty. The pen bears TWIN TASSIE, which is highly collectible. The Eversharp GOLD SEAL Signature nib is in excellent condition. The lever filling system is in perfect working order; and the pencil is also in working condition. The pen set has been serviced and tested for full functionality. This is rare and very much sought after, of such a collectible and vintage pen set in excellent condition. The Wahl Eversharp was founded as pens manufacturer in 1917, but in reality the company was founded in 1914 when the Wahl Adding Machine decided to expand and spearhead the first in the world of mechanical pencils, and then what of fountain pen. The company continued its activity until the crisis of the '50s. Activities stopped in 1957, when the division which produced the pens was bought by Parker. Despite Wahl Eversharp has not distinguished itself in the fountain pens history for turning point technical innovations it has always produced very high quality pens of the best level. The characteristic for which the Eversharp has shone in fact was the design, producing, at the apex of his success, some of the most beautiful pens ever made and distinguished by the wonderful achievements in Art Deco style. Thanks to remarkable success from its golden years it will be fully included, though in position less important than the other, between the Big Four. You can also view our item on Trumblr. The Rocollection collector’s show in Paris 🇫🇷 was this weekend and I had a pretty good time there with @aliettedb and @amkfrance. 😊 Though this year’s show had far more watch collectors’ than pen collectors’ tables, I was super happy to find this sweet adjustable Wahl-Eversharp Doric nib and fall in love with a Silko that tempts me still. 🤭💕🙈✒️✒️ . Next weekend will be time for the Madrid Pen Show with @stringsandpedals 🎉🇪🇸 . . . #Rocollection #WahlEversharp #WahlEversharpDoric #WahlEversharpAdjustibleNib #DatNib #BlackPenSociety #PenShow #PenShowHaul #Penaddict #FPAddict #Inkantadora #Fountainpengeeks #StationeryAddict #FountainPens #StylosPlume #PlumaFuente #Stilografica #Vulpen #Füller #Estilografica #CanetaTinteiro #만년필 #万年筆 #钢笔 #鋼筆 (at Compagnons du Devoir Officiel) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4wkaWvCfCX/?igshid=1hda0zrn35zoz

My current favorite quotations, day 2 of the September challenge by @journaling-junkie I haven’t done lettering in a while, and I’m very out of practice, but this was really fun. A vintage flex nib is something special.

I’ve been experimenting with taking pictures with my DSLR camera instead of my phone, what do you all think? Are they better quality? Sorry for the low lighting, I didn’t get a chance to take some pictures until late afternoon.
This is how I’m keeping track of the September challenge by @journaling-junkie and I’ll probably do something similar for October.

I’m actually doing two journaling challenges this month! This one by the incredible @journaling-junkie and this one by the amazing @chatoyantquill ! While I probably won’t be starting any monthly prompts of my own, I am thinking about starting a journaling series that everyone can participate in. Let me know if you would be interested!

I didn’t have enough time to fill my new journal’s first page with a single entry, but I’m rather pleased with it anyway. Here’s the second edition of a “currently” card inspired by @tinyrayofsun
And I wanted to be able to show off my two newest fountain pens that I bought at the DC pen show; a Sailor Pro Gear Slim with a 14k gold extra fine nib, and an Eversharp Doric with a #2 signature semi-flex nib. The Evershap is a restored vintage pen, it was first produced in the 1930s. I bought the Sailor from the amazing Anderson Pens and the Eversharp from the wonderful Michael Quitt at Charm City Pens. I think I may call them Poirot and Marple.
Pen: Sailor Pro Gear Slim, Extra Fine (print and cursive), Eversharp Doric, #2 Signature (”Currently”)
Ink: De’Atramentis Pine Green
Writing Music Sound: coffee shop noise
