Ardent (Qimir x Ex Jedi reader)
Prologue of Ardent
Ratings: Angst | Fluff | Strangers to Lovers | Friends to Lovers | Abuse | Violence | Questioning the Jedi order | Slowburn
Summary: You have been by his side since the beginning⌠This is your story.
If you could use one word to describe Qimir⌠It would be ardent. He was ardent in everything that he did. Passionate to the fault of the universe caving in on his achievements. He was ardent in the force⌠Ardent in his training⌠And ardently in love with you.
He put the word love to shame, going beyond the definition and excelling just as he excelled in everything else he did⌠Well of course walking. You couldnât understand how someone so poised could trip over air without a moments notice, but you loved him anyways.
You always will.
You would die for the man that you stood side by side with since the very beginning. Since the day he decided to leave the Jedi order.
You ardently followed him then to.
âAnd where would you go?â You asked Qimir.
The two of you sat under your favorite plum tree. The fruit was out of season and so no flowers bloomed, but that didnât deter you. It was still your favorite spot and with time it became Qimirâs favorite spot as well.
You were both young and naive then. You believe that the Jedi taking you from your home had been a good thing⌠A noble thing. You wouldnât have been able to meet Qimir if the Jedi order hadnât taken you and so you forgave them. You believed that you were here to serve a greater purpose. Qimir believed that as well, but time had a way of shedding light on things that wished to be kept in the shadows.
The order began to leave you stumbling with questions and doubts that you couldnât control. Even your master couldnât sway the growing thoughts and you grew from a youngling to a padawan⌠Everything had been going well. Your training improved and you spent your free time following Qimir around.
It was then that you slowly began to find the bruises that Qimir so desperately tried to hide. He always began questioning the way of the force and the path of the Jedi, but unlike your master who valued knowledge, Qimirâs master valued violence.
You remember that day clearly. You remember the blood dripping down his brow and the burnt slack across his back. You remember the way he bit his lip to stop from crying out.
You remember using the force to throw his master against that faithful plum tree.
âIâm leaving.â Qimir slowly stood to his feet.
No one told either of you how cruel the Jedi were.
âIâm coming with you.â It wasnât even a thought to you.
âYou canât. You have your master. You have your path.â He tried to convince you to stay. Even as two teenagers, you both wanted what was best for one another.
You looked at him wondering what you could do to convince him that you would not stay here without him. It was then that you decided and in one swift moment, you took your padawan braid and cut it off with your lightsaber. You handed your old life to him, the braid in his bloody hand.
âYou are my path.â Your tone left no room for question.
He took your hand in his bloodied one and neither of you looked back as the two of you ran from the life you could have taken.
Qimir knew then that he would never let you go and anyone who would take you away from him would face a death even far more menacing than the dark side of the force.
Now letâs start at the beginningâŚ

point of view

summary: you sneak into your ex-boyfriend's ship with the desperate hope to save your Jedi friends. but you discover more than you bargained for... pairing: seonghwa x reader x chan genre: space opera, romance (?), science fiction, fantasy warnings: morally grey characters, mentions of past crimes (unspecified but we're talking Anakin Skywalker level of crimes), betrayal, cheating (?), kissing, crying, just overall Star Wars setting with no clear-cut boundaries between good and evil author's note: the events are loosely based on certain scenes in Revenge of the Sith and the title is inspired by Ariana Grande's pov word count: 2.3k
The lightsaber glows brighter as you near your destination. All along, you knew it was a bad idea to infiltrate Darth Mars's ship all by yourself. But you have no choice. If you do not confront him yourself, you are afraid that your Jedi friends will be in danger.
Considering your history with Darth Mars, a small part of you still believes that you hold some kind of power over him. He is the one who taught you everything you know now about being a Jedi. He is the one who taught you how to fight, how to defend yourself and how to look after the ones you care about.
So, when he turned to the Dark Side, it was not only your heart that was broken, but also your trust. In him and in everything he stood for. He was the chosen one, for Force's sake...You have to admit, you miss him more than anything. You miss the man he used to be. You even miss your past self. The one who was not haunted by the consequences of his betrayal. The one who still had hopes for a better future for the Galaxy.
"Very foolish of you to come alone," Darth Mars, or should you say, Seonghwa, says, appearing from the shadows.
Bravely, you point the lightsaber at him.
"I taught you better than that," he scoffs.
"Have you?" you attempt to taunt him, because you know your fighting skills are nowhere near his supreme excellency. You can only use your mind and your tongue as a weapon.
"Did you come here to kill me?" Seonghwa chuckles lightly. "Go ahead, then. I don't intend to fight you, of all people."
"I have no intention of killing you."
"Pity. I was beginning to grow tired of it all. Even so, it wouldn't be in your style to kill me while I was defenseless. It wouldn't be honourable," Seonghwa spits the last word out as if it's dirty.
"What do you know about honour? You betrayed us, turning to the Dark Side. And for what? More power? What did you do that for? You left us, Hwa!"
"That's not my name," Seonghwa shakes his head in denial, still hiding beneath that mask. You feel so sad. You wish you could make him see...See how much he hurt you. See you.
You let go of your lightsaber, pulling his mask off.
Oh. His face is not like you remember. Filled with scars and burns and so much pain, as if reflecting the way he changed. Not just on the inside but on the outside, as well. No, you refuse to believe that. Some part of him is still your Seonghwa, the one you fell in love with. The one, that despite everything, you still love.
"Who did this to you?" you ask softly.
"Who do you think? My Master..."
"No, Chan would never...He loved you," you argue.
Chan is the Jedi who taught Seonghwa everything. Just like how Seonghwa taught you, the relationship between Master and Padawan is so special and sacred. But you cannot imagine that Chan would do something like that to Seonghwa.
"Fine, I did it to myself," Seonghwa shrugs. "We had a fight over our...differences. Things escalated and...well, let's just say a planet filled with lava is not a good place for exchanging blows."
You shake your head, still in desbelief. How could this go so far? How did you let it?
"Don't beat yourself up," Seonghwa grins darkly. "This would have happened with or without you."
"I never looked at Chan that way, you know? Not while I was with you, anyway."
"But you do now," Seonghwa states. Not really blaming you, just stating a fact.
"I do," you admit. "But I never stopped thinking about you."
"Not even after everything I did?" Seonghwa murmurs and is that...regret in his voice? You are unsure if he's still capable of that. Or any feeling for that matter.
"Not even then," you sigh.
"Why did you come here, Y/N?" Seonghwa needs to know.
"I came to beg you not to kill my Jedi friends. Leave Chan and the others alone. I would do anything you want. Just let them be."
"Would you stay with me?" Seonghwa tilts his head and in that moment, it's like you're back to when it all started. Deep down, he's still just a boy, desperate to be loved.
"I said anything, didn't I?" you insist. If this means never seeing your Jedi friends again, so be it. At least, they would be safe...Or that's how you delude yourself.
"Very well, then. I won't touch them provided that you don't go back on your word," Seonghwa promises.
You cannot believe it worked. You cannot believe he still cares about you enough to accept this. You never found out why he turned to the Dark Side. Seonghwa was never one to be blindly tempted by power. No, there must have been something else.
"If you wanted to be with me so badly, why did you betray us, then?" you can't go another second without knowing.
"What's the use in telling you?" Seonghwa replies sadly, turning away from you. No, no, he's shutting himself off again. Just as he was beginning to open up...
You grab his wrist as if possessed, forcing him to face you again.
"Please, tell me. I want to understand you," you plead with him.
"You died. You died in my arms and accepting the Sith way was the only way to bring you back to life. If there was another solution, I wouldn't have done this, I wouldn't have left."
"W-what?" you are shaking, not capable of accepting the truth. "I was d-dead?! How did I not know that? How did nobody know?"
"Chan knew," Seonghwa grunts angrily and puts on his mask again. "He insisted on hiding the truth from you. He was certain that if you found out, you'd follow me to the Dark Side...And he couldn't let that happen. Said you have too much potential as a Jedi."
No, no, this can't be right. Truths and lies become blurred in your head as you struggle to decide what to think. Who to trust? Seonghwa? Chan? Yourself? You cannot tell what is real and what is false anymore.
"You don't believe me," Seonghwa guesses correctly. "That's alright. You can ask Chan yourself," Seonghwa tilts his chin forward, as if pointing to something, someone behind you.
In that moment, a bunch of Stormtroopers lead Chan into the room.
"What should we do with this intruder, Lord Mars?" the Stormtroopers ask.
"Leave him here with my other prisoner. I shall question them myself," Seonghwa replies, appearing disinterested. Oh, so you're a prisoner now? Even though you voluntarily offered to stay with him provided that your Jedi friends are safe. You feel so foolish all of a sudden.
The Stormtroopers accept Seonghwa's orders rightaway, leaving the the three of you alone.
"I'll give you two a moment," Seonghwa shrugs carelessly, locking you in the same room with Chan.
For a brief second, you wonder if he did the wise thing. But then you remember, getting on his ship was easy. Getting out? Sounds like an impossible ordeal.
"Chan, what are you doing here?" you ask furiously.
"What does it look like?" Chan replies. "I'm here to rescue you."
"Yeah, and how is that working out for you?" you hiss bitterly. "Now, we're both stuck here instead of just me."
"Did you seriously think I'd let you face him alone?"
"I told you I can handle myself!" you argue passionately. "You always do this. You don't trust me, do you?"
"It's not you I don't trust, it's him around you," Chan cries out in pain.
"Well, I'm not sure I can trust you anymore," you confess.
Chan shrieks back, as if stricken by your words.
"Is it true that I died? Is it true that you knew I died and you kept it a secret from me?" you want to know.
"Listen, I don't know what lies Seonghwa told you but he would have turned to the Dark Side with or without you."
"Funny, I never mentioned that's the reason he went all Sith. You just confirmed it yourself."
Chan gulps nervously, realizing his own mistake.
"How could you, Chan?" you shake your head in disappointment. "I thought you'd never lie to me."
"I just wanted to protect you."
"Protect me?" your eyes widen in disbelief. "From what exactly? 'Cause it seems to me that Seonghwa was the one protecting me."
"And it was wrong! He committed all these terrible crimes just to bring you back. He turned on all his Jedi friends. He turned on me!"
"So, you're saying you'd rather I stayed dead? Is that it?"
"Don't twist my words," Chan closes his eyes, pained to have this conversation.
"You have done that yourself," you murmur, feeling tired all of a sudden and go to the door, knocking as loudly as you can. "I can't stay in the same room with the other prisoner!"
Expecting the Stormtroopers to show up and move you somewhere else, you are taken aback when Seonghwa...well, he's currently looking more Darth Mars, opens the door himself.
"And here I thought I was doing you two lovebirds a favour," he jokes.
"Get me out of here," you respond angrily.
"You're in no position to be giving me orders, sweetheart," Seonghwa chuckles gently. You want to kill him. Or kiss him. You don't know anymore. Everything is so confusing. It hurts so much...
"Get me out of here, please?" you try again, knowing it will infuriate Chan. Oh, how he wishes it was him you were begging. To run away with him suddenly sounds even more imprudent than staying with a Sith Lord.
"Much better," Seonghwa acquiesces, takes you by the arm and leads you somewhere else.
"You'll regret this," Chan warns.
"You'll regret me more," you whisper.
To your further shock, Seonghwa takes you to his chambers. You are uncertain whether he trusts you that much or he's simply confident enough that you won't be able to try anything funny. To be completely honest with yourself, even if you did try something, you would never be able to defeat Seonghwa by yourself. Then again, examples of Padawans beating their Masters are not unheard of...But you are definitely not ready for such a confrontation. Not yet, anyhow.
Not only did you learn that Seonghwa turned to the Dark Side in order to save your life, but you also just discovered that Chan kept that a secret from you. And if Chan knew, then there was a huge chance other Jedi also found out the truth. Chan was never good at keeping secrets from the Jedi. But he seems to be great at lying to you. Thus, everything you ever believed in is put into question. What is right or wrong? What is true or false? What is good or bad? These notions seem so ridiculous to you now that you have no clue what you intend to do next. You can only hope that Seonghwa's sacrifice wasn't in vain. You can only hope to live long enough to find answers for yourself.
"He told you the truth, didn't he?" Seonghwa makes yet another correct guess.
"I tricked him into it," you smirk, somewhat proud of yourself.
"That's my girl," Seonghwa nudges your shoulder playfully.
"What do I do now?" you burst into tears, burying your head in his chest. "Everything I believed in is in shambles. I don't even know if I wanna be a Jedi anymore."
"That's alright. You can always join me."
"Join the Dark Side?" you eye him suspiciously.
"Dark, Light...isn't it all the same?" Seonghwa tilts his head to the side. You hate it, but he has a point.
"Do I even have a choice? You said I'm your prisoner..."
"There's always a choice," Seonghwa insists. "And maybe I'm your prisoner. Did you ever think about that?"
You take off his mask again. He looks away, as if embarrassed.
"Don't hide from me," you beg, placing a hand on his scarred cheek, making him look at you.
"I know I'm not as pretty I used to be..."
"Well, then it's a good thing I didn't fall for your pretty. I like your ugly, too. Wish you could see yourself from my point of view," you insist and kiss him, trying to convey all the mixed up feelings you're experiencing.
Maybe he saved you. Maybe he destroyed himself in the process. Maybe he has the power to destroy you, too. You don't care. Right or wrong, this is where you belong now.
"What do you want me to do with Chan?" Seonghwa asks after a while.
"Are you seriously saying you'd do whatever I asked of you?" you are still shocked to learn how much power you have over him...He may have full control of the Force, but right now, you have full control of him.
"Within limits," Seonghwa replies vaguely.
"Let him live," you reply cleverly. Despite everything that went down, you still care about Chan. Just as how you care about Seonghwa. Your feelings might be irrational. But they're yours. "He might be useful to you one day. Who knows? He might learn to see things from where we stand."
"We? And where would that be?"
"Like you said, Dark, Light...What difference does it make?" you smile at him.
"Hm. I knew you'd get it," Seonghwa embraces you, thinking you're joining his so-called Dark Side.
But there is no such thing. You're on your own side now. And after being lied to and betrayed to by those you considered your closest people, you realize the most important thing. In this Galaxy, you can only trust yourself.
And one day, just like how Seonghwa became stronger than his Master Chan, you are certain you will become stronger than Seonghwa. They both underestimate your power.
It will be their final mistake.
The End

âWhere the stars can shineâ
Summary: the fighting never stops, and it never will so itâs in everyoneâs best interest to find the calm moments when you can.
Pairing: The Bad Batch x padawan!reader (OF COURSE THIS IS PLATONIC)
Warning: none just so much fluff!
Word count: 1261 (not proof read but what did you expect)
Notes: IM WATCHING THE NEW BAD BATCH SEASON AFTER THIS! So this is my way of manifesting everyone being alright to end the show đĽ˛
The war never ended, nor would it for anyone who has endured it and its intensity.
One fight always rolled into another and nothing could be done to stop it. The only way to get through it was to find the little cracks in all the bad. The place where the sun could shine and the flowers could grow.
Or in this case, the stars could twinkle.
"This is already too high for me." Wrecker stated loudly hauling himself up the side of the Marauder.
Crosshair, who was currently under Wreck scoffed to himself before clambering up the side like it was nothing. "You never seem to have that problem when we're in the air." He quipped.
"Well I'm inside then." He whined finally being assisted by Hunter who had the small hands of Omega making sure he didn't fall.
You could only laugh at the scene, leaning back on Echo you could feel him laugh too.
"Who do you think's falling off first?" You ask with a smile that was masked by the moonlight.
"The real question is," Echo leaned forward, surprised a little bit that the top of the marauders could fit 5 fully grown clones plus omega and the Jedi padawan. "Who's going to be pushed off first."
You looked back towards him and in an instant you spoke the same word together. "Tech."
Speaking of the devil, Tech's voice rang out as you looked over to where he had an arm pointing something out beyond the horizon.
"-and if you look there you'll be able to see Endor"
Omega's eyes lit up brighter than they have been in the past few days, nothing seemed to be going right for that bad batch no matter how much they tried.
"Have you guys been there?" Omegas eyes scanned the rest of her family that sat gazing with her. The sky on this backwater planet was surprisingly clear, clearer than you thought it would be.
"Eh once or twice." Hunter shrugged it off with a smile as all that Omega could do was gawk up at her big brother.
"Thats an understatement." Crosshair added quietly from beside you. With a nudge to your shoulder he added. "That meat-head over there blew up more than half the forest and got us kicked out. For life."
"Hey!" Wrecker let go of his strong grip of the Marauder with one hand to wave it at the sniper.
Omega giggled giving you a glance as you could help but laugh at the exchange. "Have you?"
You could only smile at the found memories the question brought you. Landing with your Master on a planet you've never even heard of at that time. The trees the towered over you and the abundant shades of green that you didn't even know existed. The faint sound of your master laughing as you stared up from the base of the tall trees fathomed by the hight.
"Yeah I went once I think during the Clone Wars. It was beautiful there." You spoke, the smiles spread from Omegas face to Hunters as he watched you retell the fond memories.
"Well I also did kinda crash into a tree there but other than that the rest was beautiful." Echo hide his laugh behind you as you told the more embarrassing part of the trip.
"I think I did hear about that one." The ex arc trooper spoke out. You shoved him back slightly as your gaze returned to the stars above.
"Now if you all turn your gazes eastward you can spot the Orion constellation which should also mean the Canis Major is pretty close." Tech pointed upward now, his own eyes locked tightly on the stars.
"That one has the brightest star in the whole galaxy right?" Omega filled in, whether Tech wanted to continue himself or not he could only beam down at the girl, who clearly heard this from him before.'
You smiled also recounting when Tech probably told the group for the first time.
The bounty hunters came from nowhere that day, Omega gripped on the back of Echo's armor plate with tears streaking down her face clearly scared.
Tech stood above you the, a data pad scanned over you as Hunter tried to apply some pressure to a wound you sustained on your side. Wrecker and Cross stood around the group, the sniper's gaze fixed on the darken horizon beyond.
Panicked breath sounded out and flown into the barren night, as much as you didn't want to scare Omega more you really could help it. You were scared yourself.
"Do you see that over there." Tech took your free arm in his hand and pointed up to the looming sky with it. "That really bright star?"
You were pulled back from your thoughts with the slightest nudge from Crosshair who spared you a glance, nobody else seemed to notice his movements
"I want to go to all of those planets one day." The words were light from Omega, a smile still evident in her voice.
"You'll definitely need to learn to fly then." You added shooting a look at Tech who finally spared a glance at someone else and was immersed in taking pictures of the different planets and constellations.
"If you can find another ship." Tech said mater-o-factly with a finger in the air.
"Aweeee Tech." Omega did the only thing she could think of, huge tooka eyes found Tech and with the pout of her bottom lip you could almost see the moment Tech cracked.
"More contemplation will be needed for that"
Though Omega wasn't disappointed for long as Crosshair whispered to her. "That's practically a yes."
Hunter laughed now shoving Crosshair back into a lying down position. He noted that his brother looked quite different without his armor, but it was a sight he could get used to.
Opening his mouth Tech was about to defend himself before a snore racked through the air.Â
"Put someone else to sleep too Techy." Crosshair jabbed a finger at wrecker who still seemed to gripped the ship tightly.
You couldn't blame him though, and is wasn't just because of Tech talking, but you did insist the stars and planets were best to see in the late night. A yawn stifled through you, Echo wasn't the warmest person but the arms that wrapped around you from the clone seemed to do it.
"It's not even that late." Omega protested but her heavy eyelids seemed to contradict her own words.
"No no, we all can't fall asleep up here or it's going to be a pain getting down." Omega curled up into Hunters chest as he spoke. He slowly started to get up.
"One of us should get Wreck." Your own eyelids battled against you as you fought to sit up.
"On it." Crosshair was the last person who you thought would offer but as his leg extended you watched Wrecker rolled over the side.
His startled yell was masked by the thud of him hitting the soft grass below.Â
"See it wasn't even that far." The skipper shrugged pushing himself over the edge and landing gracefully with even using the side to get down.
You chuckled as you rolled your eyes at the brothers were up to their old antics.
The chill air was a good contrast to the heated days that came before, so much fighting it seemed that it would never end.
Moments like these would always be cherished, and surprisingly Tech wasn't the one to get pushed off the Marauder.

Cal Kestis x Male Mirialan ex-Jedi!Reader
Warnings: You flirt with stormtroopersâŚ
Part 1: Being a mirialan jedi youngling and getting your kyber crystalâŚ
Y/l/c = Your lightsaber color
Summary: After the fall of the Jedi Order you fled to Raxus Secundus for your survival, 5 years later Cal Kestis and the crew of the Stinger Mantis land on Raxus Secundus with their ship in need of repairsâŚ
ââ
You walked in to the cantina looking around at the different patrons, you walked and sat down at the bar. The bartender soon showed up in front of you and asked âWhat can i get you?â. You thought for a second and decided âA phattro, pleaseâ.
âComing right upâ he said and soon placed a glass filled with a purple beverage in front of you. You took a sip and a familiar refreshing taste hit you. Two off-duty stormtroopers were sitting a few chairs away from you, their helmets placed next to their drinks.
They were looking towards you. You gave them a small smile and raised your glass to them in a little âcheersâ. They smiled back at you and grabbed their drinks and helmets coming over to you, sitting down on each of your sides.
âHey beautiful, whatâs your name?â said the one to your left. âIâm Y/n, whatâs yours?â you said in a alluring tone. âThey call me Redâ he introduced himself with a smirk. You turned to the trooper to your right and asked âAnd you?â. âSpikesâ he answered cooly.
âHow may i be of assitance for the troops?â you asked taking another sip of your drink. âWell, weâve had a lot to attend to lately and it can get very stressfullâ Red explained. âExtremely stressfullâ Spikes added. âAnd we thought a pretty thing like yourself might help us⌠relieve some of that stressâ Red said putting a hand at your waist.
You smiled a flirty smile. âOh really, how about we-â you started but was cut off by a sudden feeling brought on by the force, a warning? No. A familiarity, a memory, a very distant one. You stood up and looked around seeing no one. âAre you alright?â Spikes asked.
âUh yeah⌠Sorry i have to goâ you said, leaving credits and a tip for the bartender. Red scoffed annoyed and said a snide âTeaseâ. You ignored him and walked out on to the streets of Tamwith Bay. The connection you had felt was now lost.
You closed your eyes and tried to focus, reaching out through the force, trying to find the connection again but there was nothing. You were left alone and confused.
As you wandered home you thought to yourself about what or who it mightâve been, a Jedi? Just another force user lost in the galaxy?. Memories of the jedi and your training started flooding your brain as you entered your small apartment.
You had been made a padawan only 4 months before the collapse of the Jedi Order and the Republic. In most cases you wouldâve most likely been to young to become a padawan but the Clone Wars had taken a big strain on the order and because of the deaths of many masters and padwans in battle there were a lot of gaps to fill.
You had been assigned to Jocasta Nu, the chief librarian of the Jedi archives. You didnât earn a lot of battlefield experience from this but your master had shown you some of the secrets of the Jedi temple.
Once the destruction of the Jedi hit in full force you and your master escaped the temple through a secret passage hidden within the temple. Once on the streets of Coruscant she ordered you to get on a shuttle while she had drawn away a group of Clone Troopers.
That had been the last you ever saw of her as the shuttle had left. Sometimes you wondered if she had survived that night and had managed to escape the purge as well but even then they mightâve caught up with her sooner or later.
You lifted a loose floor panel of the ground revealing a box containing your now dusty jedi robes, a hard drive containing Jedi texts and your twin lightsabers. You brought your lightsabers out afraid to turn them on incase someone could here the noise and report it to the empire.
You shouldnât even bring them out of their hiding spot, you never knew who was watching. But something told you that you would be needing them in a couple of hours. You went to bed that night with your lightsabers hidden under your bed in case of a intruder or sudden attacker.
You were kept allert by the force the next day, you hid your lightsabers beneath a cloak as you ventured out in to town. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary so you just tried to go about your business as usual but as evening came, things would change.
You were once again making your way home but saw people running away from the town square, you decided to check it out. Once you got there you were met with a life changing sight. It was jedi, or at least someone carrying a lightsaber who knew how to fight like a Jedi.
He was fighting what you assumed was an imperial inquisitor, you had heard rumours about them but never seen one in person. They were Jedi hunters, sent out to find the survivors of the purge.
You then felt the connection from the day before reignite, you had met this Jedi before⌠but who was it? Suddenly the Inquisitor used a force push to knock the Jedi in to a stack of crates, knocking him over.
As the Jedi layed among the crates you caught a glimpse of his face, he looked like⌠Cal Kestis, a friend of yours from the order. The Inquisitor walked menacingly towards Cal, spinnig his double bladed lightsaber.
Without thinking you forced jump up in the air and landing between Cal and the Inquisitor. You faced the Inquisitor and ignited your lightsabers making two y/l/c blades emerge from them.
âTwo Jedi, this just got a lot more interestingâ the Inquisitor said, his smirk being covered by the helmet. It had been a long time since you fought or even practised with your lightsabers so you begged the force would guide you.
The Inquisitor slashed at you but you dodged, you flipped over his head cutting at him but he blocked. The two of you started attacking back and forward while Cal tried to absorb what just happened. A hodded Jedi had just come out of nowhere and saved his life.
He watched as the Jedi fought, lightsabers skills clearly rusty but skilled. Cal then got of his feet and jumped, attacking the Inquisitor from behind. The Inquisitor managed to block but started to struggle keeping up with the three blades slashing at him.
While the Inquisitor was blocking an attack from both one of yours and Calâs saber. You managed to get a cut in down the middle of the doublebladed saber, destroying it. You and Cal then force pushed the Inquisitor at the same time sending him flying in to a stone wall which knocked him out.
Cal then let out a sigh of relief at the Inquisitorâs defeat. He then turned to you and said âYouâre a Jediâ. âNot quiteâ you said lowering your hood making Calâs eyes widen as regcognition hit. âY/n?â he questioned.
âHi Cal, itâs been a whileâ you greeted. Without warning Cal ran up to you and threw his arms around you. You were caught of guard at first but then wrapped your arms around him as well, it didnât hit you until now how much you had missed him.
You heard troopers approaching and broke the hug. âCome on, this wayâ you said and started sprinting down an alley way. Cal followed close behind. You led him back to your apartment, you gave one last look outside before closing the door, making sure you werenât followed.
Once behind closed doors you find your arms locked around each other in another tight embrace. âHow did you survive? You were on Coruscant that wouldâve been the most heavily guarded planet?â Cal questioned in amazement.
âLetâs sit downâ you said, you made some tea for the two of you and poured it up in two cups. You both sat down around a small table and you started telling him how Master Nu had saved your life and that it had let you escape Coruscant.
âHow about you?â you asked and Cal explained that his master had sacrificed himself for him. He then told you of the events that led him and his crew to land on Raxus Secundus a couple days ago for ship repairs.
âY/n, you should come with us, weâre trying to rebuild some of whatâs left of the Jedi Order, you could help usâ Cal suggested. You thought about it for a second before answering âCal, Iâm not sure how much i will be able to help you, i only just became a padawan before the fall of the Jediâ.
âTo us thatâs enough, we need to rebuild with what little we have leftâ Cal insisted. âI donât know Cal, i just need some time to thinkâ you told him. âAlright, you have until tommorow, me and my crew are leaving once our repairs are doneâ Cal said.
You opened the floor panel and brought out the hard drive out of the box. âWhatâs that?â Cal asked. âItâs a hard drive, it contains a few Jedi texts from the library. Itâs not a lot but itâs something, i think you should have itâ you said handing it to him.
âThank youâ Cal accepted gratefully. Cal then contacted his crew and let them know about the events of the day. They decided it was best for Cal to stay the night with you as security had tightened because of the reveal of two Jedis in the city and that he should try sneak his way to the ship at the crack of dawn.
âWhere should i sleep?â Cal asked, looking around your small apartment, there werenât many options besides the bed and the floor. âYou can have the bedâ you offered. âAnd let you sleep on the floor, we can share your bed, wouldnât be the first timeâ Cal suggested.
âAlrightâ you nodded and the two of climbed in to bed together, laying on your sides to face each other. âThis reminds me of when we would sneak out of out temple rooms to have sleep overs togetherâ Cal said making a smile spread over your face.
âI remember that and that one time Master Skywalker caught you on the way to my room but he promised not to tell anyoneâ you reminded Cal who let out a chuckle. âThen after you left the temple with Master Tapal, i remember how much i missed you and how lonely i feltâ you admited.
âI missed you too Y/n, especially after purge. It was terrifying having no way to know if you had survived or notâ Cal said as you gazed in to each others eyes. He continued âBut now weâre both here again and i never want to leave you behindâ.
Cal then leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to your lips, from which you didnât pull back. While attachment was against the Jedi teachings their was no order around anymore to supervise you. You were free.
As you both pulled away from each others lips you brought a hand up to cup his cheek stroking it lightly. âIâll come with you, i donât want to lose you again eitherâ you confessed. You both then fell asleep, hands clasped together ready for the challenges tommorow would bring.

â â Chapter VIII: Connections
The silence that followed was thick, almost tangible. Still sitting on him, your breaths mingled with his, but in your mind, everything had grown cold and distant, serene. When you pulled away from the kiss, resting your forehead against his, your eyes closed as if shielding yourself from what you felt, isolating your thoughts while the weight of your decision suffocated you. Qimir still held you, but he seemed to sense the growing distance between you.
His hands moved with an almost painful tenderness across your skin, caressing your cheek as if trying to hold onto you in that moment, pulling you back from your thoughts.
"You donât have to do this" he whispered, his voice filled with sweetness and concern. He was trying to bring you back to him, into the present, into the world you two had built in that fleeting moment stolen from fate. But he already knew, deep down, that his words would carry little weight.
You swallowed, your eyes still closed, but you felt that void within you, a space that seemed impossible to fill. When you finally opened them, he saw something different. The light that once burned bright and fierce was now replaced by a darker, deeper shadow, fueled by a fire that even you seemed unable to fully control.
"I owe it to Mae." Your words were cold, filled with fierce determination. The name of your sister slipped from your lips like a vow, an unbreakable promise. And Qimir felt a shiver run down his spine. The pain you had kept hidden beneath layers of suppressed emotions had turned into pure resolve.
"You already know where this path will lead." His piercing gaze sought yours, as if trying to stop you from fully giving in to the darkness that was slowly taking hold, the same darkness he had once offered you to accept. He could sense your determination like an impenetrable wall, reminiscent of what he himself had experienced so many years ago, when he was a padawan and embraced the dark side.
You turned your face, firmly brushing his hand aside. Your gaze, unwavering and sharp as a blade, was now devoid of the sweetness you had offered him just moments before. Then you stood up, composed, a figure full of authority and resolve. Every movement was measured, almost cold, mirroring his.
âYou canât know that,â you retorted, your voice icy and devoid of emotion. âIâm no longer a Jedi; thereâs no light or darkness left for me to followâ you declared in a cutting tone. Your gaze briefly shifted to the nexu, watching you both silently, almost entranced by your interaction. âYou said it yourself. I am who I am, and I choose me.â Those words, so final and distant, sounded like a sentence as you turned and began walking toward the shipâs corridor, moving away from him.
Qimir watched you as you distanced yourself, lowering his gaze in frustration. A long sigh escaped his lips as he turned back to the shipâs controls, raising a hand to his face to rub his temples. Yet even as you physically pulled away, he could still feel the shadow of your presence. The bond that the Force created between the two of you was powerful, a web of life and power that made every fiber of your beings vibrate. It was as if he could feel every thought, every emotion, without needing to enter your mind.
And as much as he tried to suppress the fear, he knew something was changing in you. The Force flowed strongly within you, but with it came danger. The Jedi would never have allowed you to fully give in to the darkness, yet your refusal to choose between light and dark made you unpredictable a volatile threat to HimâŚ
What he had glimpsed in your false memories during that kiss left him deeply shaken. The fragments he had seen showed a future where your path seemed carved out toward a dark destiny, one he had followed himself, one he both hoped and feared you would embrace. Inside you was a power that the Jedi had never fully understood, a latent force now emerging with newfound ferocity, fueled by your thirst for vengeance and your search for freedom. For your own identity.
Qimir knew what that path meant; he understood the consequences. Yet deep in his heart, there was a spark of hope that your decision to face Sol would draw you closer to his mission. Perhaps, deep down, he even wanted it. He had invested too much in you, in the moments you two shared, to let you slip away so easily. Qimir had sacrificed a part of himself to find you, to bind himself to you, and he was willing to sacrifice even more if it meant not losing you.
He knew that if you killed Sol, you would throw open the doors to the part of yourself you had so long tried to deny. And perhaps, when everything was over, you would realize that your freedom would never be complete unless you fully embraced the bond between you.
The hours dissolved quickly as your ship glided through Coruscantâs atmosphere, landing far from the bustling chaos of the central capital. The metal and glass dome of the vessel allowed you to take in the sprawling labyrinth of the capital city below, oppressive and vivid all at once.
Qimir sat beside you, still in the pilotâs seat, his gaze fixed on the familiar landscape with a look that betrayed a certain caution. For him, returning there meant reopening old wounds, scars from his past that had never fully healed. He knew he was taking a risk by coming back into the heart of danger, into the wolf's den where his old master awaited him, perhaps unknowingly. If she sensed his presence, his survival would hang by a thread, but that didnât stop him. He knew he was doing this for you, to give you the freedom and peace you had been chasing for so long. And yet, as he glanced at you from the corner of his eye, a part of him wondered if it was truly worth it.
Once you landed, you rose from the co-pilotâs seat, distancing yourself from him for a brief moment. Then, like a shadow fading in the light, you felt something shift. You turned, returning to him, expecting to sense the familiar flow of the Force coursing around his body, that subtle vibration that linked every fiber of his being to your perception. But there was nothing. No trace of him, no echo of power. It was as if Qimir had been swallowed by a void, as if his connection to the Force had been snuffed out.
This wasnât the first time Qimir had suppressed the flow of the Force within him, masking it as he did when he first encountered Sol in what had been his cover shop.
You stood there, staring at him, surprised, almost destabilized, as he donned his black cloak. You couldnât read his presence as you had so many times before. He was there, right in front of you, yet he wasnât. Or rather, it felt as though his essence had been wrapped in something invisible, a cloak that obscured every signal, rendering him almost imperceptible to your senses. It wasnât just his power that was hidden, but his very essence, as if his soul itself had receded deep within, distant and unreachable.
It was unsettling, surreal. He had become a complete stranger, a faint outline in your field of vision. Yet there was something incredibly captivating about this ability of his. His capacity to conceal himself, to merge with the darkness, was something you had never witnessed before, something not even the Jedi Masters had taught, as they knew too little of such techniques.
You walked with determined steps along the wide streets of the capitalâs outskirts, the burgundy cloak that once belonged to Mae covering your head, hiding your face from the many eyes of the city. You didnât ask how Qimir managed to hide himself so perfectly. Every time you tried to sense him, to touch that spark in the Force that made him recognizable, you were met with a disconcerting emptiness. He was there, just a few steps behind you, yet his presence seemed to dissolve like smoke in the air.
It was afternoon, and the outskirts were brimming with life and movement. Merchants argued loudly, vendors shouted to promote their goods, and from the bars, the sound of music and raised voices mingled with the rowdy hustle of tipsy customers and the sweet perfume of prostitutes who tried to charm passersby with false smiles and hollow eyes. The scent of spices, the worn air, and the sweet aroma of the women of pleasure invaded your senses, and the crowd served as a perfect cloak to hide your presence. You ignored it all, as if the city itself had become nothing more than a faded backdrop to your mission. Nothing else existed but that dark call, the pull leading you toward your master.
The cloak protected you from curious glances, but not from the chaos within. You walked with a steady pace, ignoring the external world, focusing every thought on Sol. You could feel him, his power in the Force was like a beacon in the storm of emotions within you. You knew exactly where to find him, and each step brought you closer.
Qimir followed silently behind you, though every so often, his warm, low voice seemed to try and bridge the invisible distance you had created between you, like an underground current trying to pull you back.
âYou're still in time toâŚâ he began, as if offering you one last chance to turn back, but you silenced him with a cold, almost icy response without even looking at him.
âI know.â Your gaze remained fixed ahead, among the crowd that moved like a river around you. Your voice carried the weight of someone who had already decided, immovable. Yet you felt a thin tension between you that threatened to snap. You could sense his concern, even though he had rendered himself invisible to the Force.
The streets grew more chaotic, and you moved with the confidence of someone who knew exactly where they were going. The voices of merchants echoed in your ears, offering exotic goods, jewelry, and food, but your mind was elsewhere. Behind you, you felt Qimirâs gaze following you, silent but palpable. He knew what you were thinking; he could feel it.
âYouâre not ready to face him, Y/N,â he finally said, his voice lower, almost choked. The tone was filled with concern but also with a cold awareness that you were refusing to acknowledge.
His words, however, struck you like an electric shock running down your spine. You held your breath for a moment, feeling the heat of resentment rising within you, the weight of his judgment making your blood boil. Your gaze hardened.
You couldnât afford to waver.
âIâm not you.â Your words were sharp as a dagger, cutting into the wound that had never fully healed in him. âI wonât let my master strike me down only to run away wounded. Iâll do what I came here to do,â you finished. Your voice was hard, almost cruel, and as you walked, you didnât realize how those words came out, sharp like a blade, sinking into Qimirâs heart with lethal precision. The pain in his gaze was unmistakable, even though he tried to hide it behind a veil of silence.
Only when you turned, searching for his figure behind you, did you notice that veil of pain in his gaze. You had touched a nerve, and you knew it. Qimir had never forgotten that wound, neither physical nor emotional, but he had opened up to you, letting you glimpse that fragment of his past.
You felt the weight of your words falling back on you. His gaze lowered slightly, and the silent pain he carried seemed to etch itself even deeper into his features. You bit the inside of your cheek, cursing yourself for having spoken so harshly. But it was too late to take those words back.
That expression struck you harder than you wanted to admit, and a pang of remorse tightened your breath. You didnât understand why, in that very moment, you had become so cold towards him, as if part of you had built an icy wall. Perhaps it was the pressure, the growing tension as you approached Sol. Or maybe your own heart was too full of conflicting emotions to see clearly.
âIâŚâ you began, your voice breaking. âYou know I didnât mean what I said.â you whispered, resuming your walk, your voice finally softer, almost regretful. You didnât want to admit it, but you truly felt sorry for having struck so harshly. Qimir had always been there for you, and in that moment, you realized how much your emotions were taking over.
âI knowâ Qimir replied, but his tone was hollow, distant. He tried to mask the pain you had caused, but he couldnât entirely hide it.
You stopped again without turning, your breath uneven as you tried to gather the pieces of yourself. The chaos of Galactic City continued around you, but for a moment, everything felt distant, as if the world had retreated to the background. Clenching your fists beneath the burgundy cloak, you searched for clarity in the turmoil consuming you.
"I'm sorry," you murmured through gritted teeth, nearly choked by your own frustration. "Itâs just⌠I'm full of emotions, sensations ⌠That I can't think straight. Itâs this place." Your words were sincere, but you knew they wouldn't be enough to erase the pain you'd inflicted. Inside, a storm was raging, hatred, fear, pain, and a glimmer of hope, all intertwined and clashing.
"You're more like her than you realize" Qimir said, his voice an echo of the past, heavy with an observation he'd carried for a long time. His gaze, laced with recognition, held a weight that hit you deeply. The mention of Mae, always a thin thread binding everything you did, twisted painfully inside you. Hearing her name associated with you in that way made a lump form in your throat.
You clenched your jaw, pushing down the wave of emotions his words stirred within you. At that moment, it seemed only fair that he had found a way to wound you as well, even though he hadnât meant to hurt you, just a thought spoken aloud. You took a deep breath and started walking again, this time faster, ignoring him. Your steps grew more resolute, almost angry, as you headed towards the upper part of the city.
After fifteen minutes, the city's energy shifted. You could feel it, an oppressive presence in the Force, like a heavy cloud wrapping around you. Jedi on patrol, Jedi strolling, politicians, they all resonated like notes in a rising symphony within your mind. Swallowing hard, you tried to focus on the connection with Sol, but something about this place unsettled you, as if a part of you wanted to retreat. A pure, distant, yet palpable energy teased your senses, like a whisper urging you to reconsider your actions.
Your heartbeat quickened, and with it, your frustration. Anxiety clouded your focus, and suddenly, the thread of Sol slipped through your grasp like sand between your fingers. You stopped abruptly, breath ragged, muscles tense. You had lost control, and Qimir noticed immediately.
"Relax," he whispered, his voice gentle, soothing against the confusion assaulting you. His hand rested lightly on your shoulder, and despite everything, the gesture anchored you to reality for a fleeting moment.
"If you keep pushing, you'll attune yourself to the Force of the entire city. Focus on your connection to him, find it within you. Use your emotions to guide you," his voice was calm, a guide as you followed his instructions, slowly finding your center.
His words flowed through you like a fresh breeze, cutting through the storm of thoughts and feelings swirling inside. You took a deep breath, letting the uncertainty slip away. Closing your eyes, you dove into the Force, trying to feel Sol once again. The chaotic vibrations of the city began to fade, blending into the background as you focused solely on him. The invisible threads of the Force around you shifted like taut strings, each belonging to someone in the capital, but you sought the one that bound you to Sol.
One heartbeat, then another, your breath deep and steady. Finally, you felt it. That thread, intense, familiar, pulsed in the Force like a blinding light. You recognized it.
âThat way.â you murmured decisively, opening your eyes and fixing your gaze in the direction that now seemed inevitable. You began walking, your steps still filled with tension, but this time they were purposeful, deliberate. Each meter you covered brought you closer to the Jedi Temple.
Qimir followed closely, his gaze watchful and silent. He could sense the struggle within you, feel your uncertainty growing with every step. He knew how much this was costing you, how hard you were trying to maintain control, but the fear that your determination might lead you back to your master crept into his thoughts. He prayed it wouldnât happen, it would be unbearable to watch you die in front of him.
When the Jedi Temple finally appeared in the distance, an imposing and solemn structure, you paused for a moment, your breath short and nervous. You had hoped with all your heart that Sol wasnât there. You didnât want to step back into that place you once called home. You didnât want to face the ghosts that resided there.
You ventured deeper into the temple, followed closely by Qimir, whose presence seemed to envelop you like an invisible veil, making you almost imperceptible as you crossed the main atrium. Each step was accompanied by the irregular beat of your heart, an incessant drum of nervousness. You prayed you wouldnât encounter anyone you knew, and fortunately, no familiar faces appeared. Yet, every corner, every corridor whispered forgotten memories, the voices of the past calling out to you. Your time as a Padawan resurfaced like thin blades, slowly and imperceptibly cutting into your skin with each recollection, with every step forward.
The towering walls of the templeâs ziggurat loomed over you, cold and silent, heavy with history. They had once been your protectors; now, they felt like ghosts, shadows of what you had lost. You continued walking, your steps growing more hesitant, until you reached the First Knowledge Quarter, in the northwest section of the ancient building. Each step in that direction strengthened the bond with your master. It was a sensation that shook you to your core: a mix of familiarity and terror, like the pull of a truth you had tried to escape.
The corridor leading to a place that had once been your refuge, your sanctuary from the sharp tongues of those who doubted you were worthy of being a Padawan, struck you with a wave of emotion. You felt a longing for it, feeling almost the nostalgia ofâŚ
"The Room of a Thousand FountainsâŚ" Qimir whispered, completing the thought you had kept to yourself. His words echoed like a shared memory. You glanced at him, surprised to remember that he too had walked these halls, many years before you. His face was unreadable, but in his eyes, you glimpsed a deep understanding of what you were feeling.
âHeâs there.â you murmured, swallowing heavily.
In front of you lay the entrance to the room, a gateway that seemed to conceal far more than just a physical space. Entering meant turning back, facing not just Sol, but everything you had been, everything that had driven you to become a Jedi, and everything you had lost.
The Room of a Thousand Fountains was exactly as you remembered it, yet something about it felt different. Time hadnât altered its majestic beauty: exotic flora and fauna from all over the galaxy filled the space, creating a landscape both alien and comforting. The artisans and botanists who had designed it had managed to craft an oasis of peace and serenity in a temple that, although dedicated to the Force, could often become an oppressive place. The sound of water flowed softly, gurgling from a thousand small fountains, reflecting the light in delicate cascades that seemed to dance among the lush trees and bushes. A light mist rose from the streams, cloaking the air with a freshness that carried the weight of ancient tranquility.
A part of you longed to stop, to breathe deeply in that peace, and lose yourself in the place that, as a child, you had considered your true home. Sunlight filtered through the high windows, casting the water of the fountains in golden and azure hues. The trees, covered in bright flowers, swayed gently, moved by a breeze that seemed to come from another world. But today, this place was no longer a refuge. Today, it was the stage for your battle, for your fall.
With every step you took into the room, you drew closer to Sol, and with it, the weight of emotion grew heavier. There was no room left for serenity; everything within you was transforming into a grip of tension. Your breath was quick and shallow, your fingers instinctively tightened around the edge of Maeâs cloak. The memory of her, of her loss, fueled the fire of your determination, but at the same time, it consumed you.
Behind you, Qimir followed you in silence, his gaze piercing, as if he could sense every conflict raging within you. He felt your nervousness, the way your strength seemed to waver between control and impulse, between light and darkness. And he said nothing, letting you sink into your thoughts. It was your battle, and he knew it.
When you stopped in front of the central area of the hall, time seemed to slow down. The beating of your heart echoed in your ears like drums on a battlefield. Sol was there, sitting cross-legged, immersed in meditation, his unmistakable figure at the center of that oasis which had once been your refuge. But now, that serenity seemed to you like a cruel illusion, a mirror reflecting a calm you could never reach again. The sound of the fountains blended with your thoughts, amplifying the inner turmoil devouring you. Every drop of water seemed to fall as heavily as a blade on your skin, flowing slowly but relentlessly, carving invisible wounds.
Inside you, the storm was growing. Fear, nostalgia, pain, anger⌠Every emotion you had repressed was now rising to the surface, like a river that had burst its banks. The image of Sol in front of you was both familiar and foreign. You could no longer recognize the man you once considered a guide, an almost fatherly figure. Now, seeing his calmness, the contrast with your fury was unbearable. Your hand clenched around the hilt of the lightsaber that Osha had wielded at Qimir's side for years. The cold sensation of the metal against your skin was the only anchor to reality.
Sol's voice shattered the silence with devastating power.
âY/nâŚâ Sol's voice cut through the air with the same intensity as the water from the fountains crashing onto the ground below. You shivered at the sound of your name on his lips, a blow to your soul. How dare he speak to you with such familiarity? How dare he drag you back with just one word?
You didnât respond. Every fiber of your being strained to contain the fury rising within. You felt the heat of anger burning inside, mixed with a deeper cold: the cold of betrayal. You watched him rise with the same calm that had always been his, as if nothing had changed. But everything had changed. You saw him turn toward you, his expression shifting from the relief of feeling your presence again to the gravity of the situation he now faced. The serene, relieved look quickly gave way to the shadow of understanding. Your stance, the lightsaber in your hand, everything, spoke louder than words.
âMaster.â The word slipped from your lips like a blade of ice, sharp, cold, laced with pain and resentment. It was the first time you had called him that since he abandoned you on Khofar. Every time you spoke that title, the poison of the past resurfaced, tainting every thought, every memory. You had admired him, followed him blindly, and he had left you behind, without explanation, without a helping hand. Abandoned to the enemy.
Sol swallowed, and you saw the flash of realization in his eyes. He understood. Finally, he understood.
âDonât do thatâŚâ His voice, now broken by a plea, seemed almost surreal. He, who had once been your rock, the one who always knew what to do, was now there, disarmed, vulnerable, almost defenseless, a shadow of the man you once considered a father. His lightsaber lay a few steps away from him, but he didnât call it to him. He didnât want to fight you. Or at least, he still hoped he wouldnât have to.
He could sense everything about you: the turmoil of emotions, the growing hatred, the fear consuming you. He could read your thoughts, see the depth of your suffering, and he understood exactly how far you were willing to go. But that wasnât enough to stop you. Not anymore. You belonged to the darkness now.
Pain gripped your chest like a vice. Your time with Qimir had forged a different person, a harder, more ruthless one. But the real blow, the true trauma, had been being abandoned by him, right when you needed him most. He had fled, leaving you to face the pain and the Sith without looking back. Your mind was a whirlwind of contrasting images: his teachings, the warmth of his affection⌠and then the coldness with which he left, abandoning you. The open wound that had turned into a scar burned, and you no longer knew if you were driven by the desire for revenge or the desperation to understand.
And then there was Mae.
A wave of hatred surged through you at the thought of your sister, dead under circumstances that still tore at your soul, so inexplicable they were. You had feared that Sol might have been involved, that he had made the fatal decision that led to her death. You couldnât look at him without seeing hands stained with bloodâthe blood of your family. The uncertainty, the anguish of not knowing if he was responsible, strangled your soul.
Betrayal, abandonment, hatred. And fear.
Fear that, deep down, he truly was the man you feared he had become. Fear that his wisdom had been an illusion, that everything he taught you was merely a shadow of what he really was. The possibility that he could have been the one behind Maeâs death terrified you, made you lose control.
Your breath was becoming more labored, and your fingers clenched around the lightsaber as if the mere grip could contain all the chaos you were trying to tame. But you couldnât hold it back any longer.
âI canât stop.â you thought, the echo of your own determination reverberating through the peaceful hall.
Qimir watched the scene from a distance, hidden in the shadow of a massive tree at the edge of the hall. The sound of rushing water seemed to muffle everything happening, but he could sense every single emotion coursing through you. It was as if your emotions were an extension of his own, a distorted reflection of his past.
The hatred burning within you was palpable, a poison spreading through the air like an invisible gas. Qimir felt it vibrating in his bones, seeing in your fury what had once been his own. The hatred for his Jedi master, the repressed anger at the teachings that had imprisoned him, the thirst for revenge that had consumed him. It was like a flashback swallowing him whole, a cycle repeating with cruel precision.
He remembered perfectly when, decades earlier, he had found himself in the same place you were now. With a trembling hand on his lightsaber, ready to lash out at his master, blinded by pain and rage. He knew what it meant to be devoured by hatred, to understand that there would be no redemption in committing the final act, losing everything. That revenge would not bring peace but only an unstoppable spiral of chaos. Qimir had been drawn into that darkness and had never managed to find a way out. His life had been marked by that one decision that had finally set him free.
And now he saw you there. He knew perfectly well that you wouldnât find peace in killing Sol. The illusion of relief would last a mere heartbeat during the confrontation, and then emptiness would claim everything. But he wouldnât intervene. Not this time.
Qimir had already made up his mind. He wouldnât stop you.
If he interfered, he would break that cycle, and somehow your suffering would redeem his. But he wasnât ready for that. In a sense, he shouldnât be. Allowing you to commit that act was necessary, as it would lead you down the path to the dark side. It would be so; He had decided it would be so, and he found himself succumbing to a decision he knew would be destructive for you.
He knew it wouldnât be your hatred that would destroy you, but your conviction that this was the only way to find peace.
Sol's voice was like a sharp blade piercing your soul, but the pain wasnât enough to stop you. His words,
"This isn't you, my old Padawan" echoed like a distant memory, buried beneath layers of hatred and resentment. Every fiber of your being screamed for vengeance, each step you took toward him charged with an unstoppable tension. Sol's paternal tone grated against your ears, covered by anger and bitterness, as you found the strength to ask the fatal question.
"Mae⌠Where is she?" Your voice trembled, and you hated yourself for that weakness. You desperately sought a thread of hope, a sign that she was still alive, that it had all been a mistake. A part of you even hoped to discover that she was actually alive and that you didn't feel the Force bond with her only because she had used a skill similar to the one Qimir employed to disguise herself. But that was not the case; Sol's expression answered you more than his words could.
"Y/n⌠we-" he began, desperately trying to find the right words, but it was useless. Your grip on the lightsaber was so tight that your knuckles turned white.
"You killed her." Your words were pure poison, a definitive condemnation. The resentment and darkness in your gaze would have made anyone tremble, even the bravest of Jedi Masters.
"That's not what happenedâŚ" His hand reached out toward you, hoping to reclaim what was left of the Padawan he once knew, but his other hand was ready to call his lightsaber.
You advanced slowly, each step heavy as lead, uncertain yet determined at the same time. For a single, desperate moment, you hoped that somehow he could tell you that he hadnât done anything, that he wasnât responsible for what had been your sisterâs death.
"But it was like thatâŚ" you murmured, almost trying to convince yourself, still in disbelief and confusion. Then you saw it in his eyes: betrayal, guilt. The fragments of your heart shattered into a thousand pieces, burning with hatred.
"You⌠you killed her." Your whisper became a verdict, and for the first time, you noticed fear in your old master's eyes. The man you had once revered now trembled before you, aware of how much you had changed, completely consumed by hatred. And it was in that moment that everything collapsed.
"I⌠y/nâŚ"
Sol quickly called his lightsaber to him, the familiar sound of its activation resonating in the hall. You struck at him with all your strength, the weight of your pain pouring into the violence of the attack. He blocked your strike at the last second, but the clash of the blades echoed in the room, breaking the harmony of the waterfalls and the chirping of some birds.
There, amidst the beauty of nature, the serenity of the place shattered under the fire of combat. The blades hissed in the air, illuminating the waterfalls and the exotic plants around you, while the water reflected flashes of red and blue light. The rough stone floor beneath you vibrated with each impact, and every time the lightsabers met, a spark of pure energy lit up the green of the surrounding garden. The leaves of the trees rustled beneath your swift movements, as your heavy breaths mingled with the constant sound of flowing water.
"Y/n, donât succumb to your darknessâŚ" Sol still tried to reach you, but his words were drowned out by the clash of lightsabers. Each strike you unleashed was fiercer than the last, an explosion of uncontrollable rage. Your technique merged with a brutality you had never known. Sol, his face etched with pain and disappointment, struggled to defend himself, blocking your attacks with increasing difficulty.
In your fury, you had lost all control. Every thrust was heavy with hatred, the blade of your lightsaber sliding close to his flesh, grazing his Jedi robes with lethal precision. The sound of water became more distant, muffled by the pounding beat of your heart. Each blow that Sol parried drove you to strike harder, faster, as if only his destruction could quell the turmoil within you.
"Youâre not like this!" Sol shouted, retreating, almost pleading, as he defended against yet another strike. But he knew he could no longer stop you. Your emotions were a raging river, overwhelming, uncontrollable. The past, the lies, Maeâs death⌠everything had pushed you beyond your limit, and now you were unstoppable. Sol, the master who had once taught you calm and peace, was now the target of your deepest hatred.
The hall transformed into a theater of destruction. The harmonious sound of the artificial forest was drowned out by the sharp hum of lightsabers and the violent clash of your blades striking with ferocity. You felt nothing, saw nothing; all you felt now was hatred. The vibrant green of the plants and the blue of the waters no longer existed for you. Only the red of your fury.
"You promised to protect me!" Your scream exploded in the hall, echoing against the walls as your saber finally found its mark. The blade sizzled as it struck Solâs shoulder, leaving a burning cut. It wasnât enough. His face contorted in pure terror as he used the Force to throw you back, the instinctive gesture of a man pushed to his limit, yet still reluctant to hurt you. "To protect both of us!" you continued, your anger resonating in your voice like thunder as you rose again, fueled by hatred. You lunged at him once more with uncontrolled fury, your strikes becoming faster, more precise, as you sought every possible opening. Sol was now forced to defend himself desperately, parrying your thrusts with quick but increasingly fatigued movements, barely dodging your last attack.
"It was a mistakeâŚ" he said in a strained voice, his breathing heavy, bringing a hand to the burn on his shoulder, seeking relief he would never find. He retreated, his face twisted in pain, both physical and emotional, unable to tear his gaze from you, as if he were looking at someone he no longer recognized.
But you could no longer hear his words. Each time your blade met his, your frustration grew. You struck with such violence that pieces of flora fell to the ground, severed and charred. The fountains, once symbols of your serenity, now reflected the darkness consuming you. Your emotions, once controlled, were now an uncontrollable torrent of pain, grief, and anger. Your lightsaber sliced through the air with ferocity, hissing like a snake ready to strike, destroying everything you had once loved. Every blow you dealt was an act of accusation, an open wound.
"I trusted youâŚ" Your voice cracked, a mix of hatred and regret reflected in your movements. Sol, despite his fatigue, still managed to defend himself, but his movements grew slower. Your anger made you stronger, but also more unpredictable, and he knew he couldnât hold out much longer.
With a scream of rage, you plunged your saber with all your might, aiming for his chest, seeking the decisive blow. But Sol, in a last desperate act, blocked the strike with a speed you wouldnât have thought possible. Your blades crossed with devastating force, sparks flying in every direction, illuminating the space around you. The sound of metal and energy colliding was deafening, and for a moment, everything else faded away. Only you and Sol remained.
Your sabers sizzled and screeched, locked in a struggle of strength and will. You looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of remorse, any confirmation that the Sol you once knew still existed. What you found broke your heart.
With a furious cry, you pushed with all your strength, forcing him to retreat once again. But he, breathless and moving slower, had no intention of hurting you. He blocked every strike, dodging with pinpoint precision, but he did not counterattack. His gaze was that of a broken man, aware of what he had lost, powerless to reclaim it. The gaze of a fatherâŚ
"PleaseâŚ" he whispered, but his words were drowned out by the roar of your blade approaching once more. The movements became frantic. Your legs moved agilely, jumping over small ponds and the carved rocks decorating the hall, seizing every hold to try to strike him from a new angle. But Sol, despite the pain and fatigue, still held his ground. He jumped back, parrying and dodging, but each time he was closer to his limit.
The beauty of the Room of a Thousand Fountains was consumed by the fury of battle. The waterfalls, once symbols of calm and contemplation, now reflected the destruction around you. The exotic trees, once lush, fell to the ground one after another, struck by your merciless blade. The air itself felt denser, suffocating, as your strikes grew more desperate. Broken plants, shattered statues, water splashing everywhere as your blade mercilessly cut not only the nature around you but also the memories of your childhood, the moments when this place had been your home, your refuge. It was no longer any of that. Now it was just the stage for your revenge.
Sol continued to defend himself, desperately seeking a way to stop you without hurting you. But you were now unstoppable. Every blow, every movement, was heavy with the weight of years of pain and betrayal. Yet beneath all that anger, there was still a part of you that didnât want this end. A part that screamed to stop, that knew if you continued, you would lose yourself forever.
Every strike you unleashed against Sol was a cry of despair, an explosion of years of pain and betrayal. Your blade buzzed in the air, seeking its target, but each time it was halted by the stubborn resistance of your old master. Yet, he did not counterattack. Sol would never raise his blade against you, even as death approached ever closer. His face, a mask of torment, reflected not hatred but only regret and love, wounded by your darkness.
"I believed in you!"
The words choked out of your throat, a strangled cry as pain cut through the armor of rage that surrounded you. Tears threatened to fall, but you held them back, fueled by the fury that now completely dominated you. Every movement was fierce, every strike a silent scream of your broken heart. You were close to the edge, and he knew it. Each blow he barely parried, each step back he took, pushed you further toward the point of no return. Yet, deep within you, something still screamed, desperately trying to stop you. But you no longer listened to that voice.
Frustration grew inside you. The awareness urging you not to do this was no longer enough. Every blow parried by Sol felt like a rejection of your vengeance, a denial of the last act of love you could have offered to Mae.
Sol managed to send your lightsaber flying with a decisive wave of his hand, using the Force one last time with the last of his strength. You felt the absence of the familiar weight of the weapon, and panic mixed with rage surged through you. You were disarmed. He knew it. He sheathed his inactive lightsaber at his side and moved quickly toward you, his face etched with pain and determination. Before you could react, his arms enveloped you in a desperate embrace, the hands that once supported you now holding you captive.
His arms, once a refuge, were now a cold, suffocating trap. The force with which he held you was not just physical but emotional: a desperate attempt to bring you back, to save what remained of his padawan. You felt his voice break against your ear as he tried to explain himself, the hope of changing your mind clashing with the growing despair.
"I had to do it, I-"
But his words were muffled when your hand, driven by an unstoppable dark impulse, found his lightsaber.
And then, something broke inside you.
It was as if an invisible thread, the one that had kept you tied to humanity, had snapped. You felt your hand become steady, your mind go blank, frozen in the moment. In that brief instant, the world seemed to slow down.
In a fluid, almost mechanical motion, you activated it without hesitation at his side. The sharp sound of the energy blade piercing his flesh, burning it, echoed in the room like a sudden crash in the quiet. You felt his body stiffen, a strangled sob escaping him, and the warmth of his blood rising in his throat, splattering on your shoulder. That blood, thick and dark, burned your skin like the mark of an irreversible wound.
Time distorted, and everything became a distant echo. Sol stood still for a moment, almost in disbelief, his eyes widening as they met yours with a mix of pain and surprise. The deep brown of his irises seemed to fade, replaced by profound sadness, an emptiness that reflected your own. His lips trembled as if he wanted to say something, but no words came.
As he felt his life slipping away, his gaze deepened further, becoming a window into all the emotions he had suppressed until that moment. There was infinite disappointment, not in you, but in himself. He should have protected you; he should have been there for you. In that final moment, he realized that he had failed.
Sol's eyes searched yours, as if still hoping to see the young padawan he had trained, the girl he loved like a daughter. But he found nothing of what he remembered. He finally understood that there was no way to bring you back, and with that realization, a deep sadness clouded his gaze. There was no hatred in him, only a silent forgiveness.
Sol staggered, collapsing to his knees as your gaze remained fixed in the void, devoid of any spark of compassion. The weight of his body grew lighter in your arms, yet you felt nothing. Inside you, something had broken forever, but it was not pain you felt, only a cold emptiness that enveloped you completely.
As he fell to his knees, Sol's eyes never left yours, as if he wanted to imprint that final message in you: despite everything, he would always love you, until the end. His eyelids slowly closed, like the lowering of a curtain on a tragedy, and with one last whisper of your name, he surrendered to his fate.
"You promisedâŚ" you whispered, your voice no longer seeming like your own, drained of emotion and warmth, as if it were rising from the depths of an endless abyss. As you slowly clenched your hand into a fist, giving him a death more painful than he deserved, suffocating him with the Force. There was no more hatred, no more anger. Only a deafening silence now.
And as Sol's body fell to the ground, his gaze now slowly empty, you understood that there was no redemption, no return. Inside you, there was nothing left. The fury, the hatred, the desire for vengeance that had guided you until that moment had faded, leaving you only with the unbearable weight of the realization: you had lost everything.
Tears streamed down your impassive face as you gripped the iron hilt, watching the now semi-destroyed hall. The blue blade slowly began to take on the crimson hue of Qimir and your sister. You had nothing left. You had nothing left, not even vengeance.
A memory crashed over you like a sudden wave, trapping you in a fragment of time you had almost forgotten, yet it was there, buried beneath layers of pain and hatred.
You were still a young padawan, sitting in front of Sol in the council chamber, a vast and imposing room that made you feel even smaller. The Jedi council members were arranged in a circle, their serious and stern eyes focused on you. Despite the tension, Sol's figure beside you was a beacon of warmth, a paternal presence that shielded you from the oppressive atmosphere. His warm hands gently rested on your slender arms covered by your padawan robes, a gesture that spoke of affection and reassurance, and for a moment, you felt safe.
âWhat do you want to be when you grow up?â
He asked gently, his low, enveloping voice inviting you to look within yourself. There was no judgment in his tone, just genuine interest, a sincere curiosity to know how you imagined your future. His eyes studied you with affection, reflecting a trust that had always comforted you, even in the most difficult moments.
But that question, so simple, suddenly made you feel exposed. The knot in your throat tightened with unexpected force, the words seemed to be stifled before they could even form. You looked at Sol, searching his eyes for the answer, something that would make him proud, something that could alleviate the weight growing inside you. You could feel the weight of the other Jedi's gazes around you, as if the fate of your entire future depended on that one answer.
âKindâŚâ
You finally whispered, your voice weak and almost broken, as if that word had been drawn from the depths of your heart with great effort. Your lips trembled slightly as you held back the tears threatening to fall. You didnât want to cry; you didnât even know why that word had struck you so deeply.
Sol, sensing your hesitation and fragility, smiled. A smile full of understanding and comfort. His eyes sparkled with pure emotion, and without saying anything, he wrapped you in an embrace, enveloping you in his reassuring presence. In that moment, it felt like nothing could ever hurt you.
âMhâŚâ Sol murmured in a deep tone, full of satisfaction. He was reassured, as if that answer had confirmed everything he already knew or thought he knew about you. That sound seemed to contain all that needed no words: his approval, his pride, his joy in knowing he could guide you along the path you had just begun to walk. There was no doubt now: he would become your master. You knew it. He knew it too.
And for a brief moment, amidst the chaos of your fractured mind, that memory brought back the feeling of no longer being that innocent, hopeful young padawan; you had killed him along with the paternal figure now lying at your feet. But then, the memory shattered, dissolving into the empty echo of the present. And you were back there, with Sol's lifeless body on the ground, your hands still stained with his blood and your gaze cold.
You shifted your gaze to one of the trees, watching it slowly catch fire in front of you. You recognized its bark as coming from Brendok, your home planet. As a child, you loved to hide among its branches, climbing up and disappearing from your friends. You loved that tree; it reminded you of your mother, strong and wise, always ready to protect you. Now, you felt nothing for it. You turned and met Qimir's gaze, which seemed to understand your absence.
Was this what he meant when he told you he had lost everything and had finally become free? Was this the cost of freedom?
âLetâs go home.â you hissed coldly, pulling up your hood that had fallen during the battle. You didn't even turn to give a final glance at Sol's body. You reached out and retrieved Mae's lightsaber, placing it at your side before walking toward the exit of that place, letting the flames consume the green lung of the temple, burning the last roots that still tied you to it, abandoning the memory that had returned to you of your old master.
Qimir lowered his gaze in silence, wiping a lonely tear that wrinkled his face, feeling your pain for you, following you out of that memory with your ex master, sensing that faint flame extinguishing within you.
He nodded before following you outside, using the Force suppression once again to cover both your tracks, especially yours, which had become stronger. More chaotic.

[Anakin Skywalker x Padawan!Fem Reader]
Masterlist | Wattpad | AO3 Not My Code Masterlist
Summary: On the day of your knighting, you find yourself forced to confront someone you absolutely do not want to seeâat least not in Anakin's company. The presence of your Master's ex-wife at the ceremony has a hidden agenda, but whatever she aims to achieve, you want to be one step ahead.

Warnings: angst | jealousy | kissing | satisfying ending Author Note: This time, there won't be anything spicy, but let's raise the suspense a bit! We'll delve into some intrigue, but in the end, I hope the conclusion will be satisfying.
Word Count: 3k
The absence of your Padawan's braid behind your ear was a strange feeling, but even though you often complained about how it irritated you and visually ruined your best hairstyles, you held it in your hands with a hint of nostalgia. It marked the end of a very significant chapter in your life, but also the gateway to something, you hope, much better. The ceremony was beautiful and atmospheric, with surprisingly many guestsânot just those you invited through your friendly droid, but also a few important senators, the Chancellor himself... And... Well, speaking of senators... You knew PadmĂŠ Amidala would show up at the ceremonyâit wasn't a surprise to you. However, you consistently pushed that awareness to the back of your mind, not allowing thoughts of that 'first encounter' to trouble you. You didn't look in her direction during the ceremonyâyour gaze was probing Anakin, who, in turn, didn't even turn his head toward her, which buoyed your spirits. After the ceremony, you exchanged handshakes and accepted congratulations from guests alongside your Master, who proudly accompanied you throughout. Once you made sure to thank everyone for their attendance, you directed your guests to Dex's diner, reserved for you and your party that evening. "Are we not all going together?" Obi-Wan asked, standing with Anakin in the temple foyer. "Go ahead, I'll catch up with you in a moment; I just need to change into something more comfortable." you replied with a smile, gesturing to your elaborately adorned, albeit uncomfortable, outfit worn during the knighting. "Ten minutes, and we'll be toasting without you, Ma'am." Kenobi summarized, eliciting laughter from you and Skywalker, before slowly making their way toward the exit. "Um, Anakin!?" you called out while the two were still within your reach. "Yes?" Skywalker turned toward you. "Do you have the reservation confirmation with you? Just in case." you asked, and Anakin pulled a paper badge from his belt. "Better safe than sorry." he replied with a smile, to which you nodded and smiled back. With this brief exchange, you went your separate ways. .................................................................................................................. Obi-Wan and Anakin walked in silence until they entered one of the lifts in a spacious corridor. "What was that?" Kenobi suddenly asked, pulling Skywalker out of his reverie. "What do you mean, Master?" he asked, trying to figure out what had caused such a puzzled expression on Obi-Wan's face. "You didn't insult each other, neither of you called the other an idiot or showed the middle finger, and to top it off, it's the first time I've heard her call you by your first name." Kenobi clarified, crossing his arms in an 'appraising' manner. "Did I do something wrong?" Skywalker asked rhetorically. "No, but any deviation from the normâin your case, Anakinâespecially surprises me." Obi-Wan replied, maintaining his posture. "I'm just putting into practice what you taught me, Master." added Anakin, smiling proudly at Kenobi. "Should I be afraid?" asked Obi-Wan, even more bewildered, though surprised. "Who knows?" Skywalker added with a hint of irony as the lift doors began to open. The two walked through the deserted ground floor of the temple, which was a straight path to the exit. "I had something to ask you... How are you feeling?" Kenobi suddenly inquired, taking advantage of the moment. "I don't quite understand." Skywalker expressed confusion this time. "It's the first time in a very long time when, you know... the Senator is our guest. I know you've been through rough times, and..."
"Answering your question, Master... I feel better than ever." Anakin interrupted, surprising Kenobi slightly, but internally delighted because the answer to this questionâespecially recentlyâhadn't been an easy one for his apprentice. Obi-Wan regularly posed this question to him, but today, for the first time, he received a determined answer, a response he had been waiting for a long time, perhaps signaling that a painful phase in Anakin's life was finally becoming clear. "Well... So I guess we'll raise a toast for that as well today." Kenobi added after a moment of silence, and Anakin turned towards him, exchanging a subtle smile. Soon, the duo reached the exit of the temple, and before them stood the crew waiting by the doors, ready to accompany the two Generals to the diner. "Finally, so, are we ready to roll?" Rex shouted, gesturing towards Anakin and Obi-Wan. "This is where the fun begins." Skywalker whispered to Kenobi, and both with smiles, headed towards the crew. ..................................................................................................................
In the meantime, in the absence of the others, you managed to change your outfit in Anakin's quarters, where you had left your more comfortable attire the day before. Along the way, you decided to bring R2 with you, who had been on guard duty. Once you had smoothed your hair and touched up your nose for the rest of the evening, you closed the door behind you and the droid. With brisk steps, you made your way along the corridor leading to the lifts. At a certain point, you noticed that the door to one of the guest quarters was ajar, and the dead silence in the hall allowed you to hear the conversation emanating from it. Intrigued by the sound, you stopped. Perhaps you wouldn't have done so if the feminine voice coming from the room didn't sound so dramatic, and perhaps you wouldn't have done so if the room for the night didn't belong to PadmĂŠ.
"Maybe you should at least try? If you don't try, you'll never know."
"But how? I can't just approach him and say, 'Hey, let's try again.'"
"But we both know you came here today just to talk to him."
"I know... But I was hoping he'd be the one to approach me first, but he didn't even look at me."
"You can't keep thinking this way forever..."
The eavesdropped conversation ended at this point, and you couldn't steady the trembling of your hands. The overheard words made your blood boil, and you prayed just to manage to keep that feeling inside because PadmĂŠ and her handmaiden, with whom she was conversing, were just coming out of the quarters. "Oh... Hello, it's been so long..." PadmĂŠ said with a slightly surprised expression when she saw you standing a few steps in front of the door from which she emerged. For a long time, you had the habit of bowing, greeting formally and respectfully when it came to politicians - but now, you didn't even blink. "Do you happen to know if Anakin is in..." "He's not there." you replied before PadmĂŠ could finish her question, to which the woman next to her reacted with a somewhat confused expression. "Oh, I see... Were you looking for him too?" she asked, aware that not everyone had the right to enter private quarters in the Temple. "I came to get R2." you replied with a stony face, beneath which a hint of pride could be discerned, a pride that only you could feel. "Oh." PadmĂŠ let out a short sigh, tinged with a hint of uncertainty, and being sure that this was all the senator needed from you, you moved ahead. "Uh, wait, please..." even though you would rather keep going, not wanting to build such a dramatic aura around you, you stopped and turned your head toward her. "Congratulations on your new title. I always knew you were capable." You paused for a moment, hearing those words, and forced a fake smile, looking at both women. "Sure. I mean... Thank you. And now, Senator, I apologize, but I have to go. They're waiting for me." Without waiting for 'permission,' you moved away, and PadmĂŠ just nodded, slightly embarrassed, and went with her handmaiden in the opposite direction. Walking, you replayed Amidala's words in your head. Nasty lies that you wouldn't even buy as a child, because you knew well that she never cared about your development under Anakin's wing. All that concerned her was his time spent with you, the energy she claimed you were "stealing from him," and the attention she expected but never reciprocated. Jealousy mixed with fear gnawed at you from the inside â you tried to be confident, tried to think about how Anakin ignored her â but you couldn't stop entertaining dark scenarios. What if he yielded? What if he gave her a chance? What if her plan was cleverer than yours? The one you were just putting the finishing touches on in your mind because, after all this, you have to prove who's playing the first violin here. Oh, you didn't even care how dangerous it was in terms of the Jedi Code at the moment; why should it concern you now? Are you supposed to give up and not sleep peacefully? No way. ..................................................................................................................
Your little 'after-party' helped you calm down significantly. When you entered the venue, Anakin sensed your conflicting emotions, but as you sat next to each other, unnoticed by others, he subtly ran his finger along your thigh, signaling that everything was okay and you shouldn't stress. Of course, he didn't know the exact reasons for your mood, but he felt enough to help comfort you. The reception went in a truly festive atmosphereâthere were 'uncle' jokes from Obi-Wan, who, after a few deep glasses, had everyone in tears of laughter, and toasts in honor of you and your master, which you lost count of after a few hours. Everyone was getting themselves together and extending their stay, led by Kenobi, whom Rex was helping to stand on two legs. However, you and Anakin decided to slip away to the temple quarters. "But promise me it's nothing scary!" you said, laughing, as you ran after Anakin to his apartment. "I promise, I promise!" Anakin replied, amused by your suspicion. Your hasty escape from the party was initiated by Anakinâhe told you he had a gift for you and had been waiting for this day specifically. Throughout the journey to the temple, you kept bombarding Skywalker with questions to which he didn't want to answer because, after all, it was a surprise. "Ugh! Can you at least tell me where we're going?" you asked impatiently and breathlessly, trying to keep up with Anakin's brisk pace. "To my quarters!" he replied, winking at you. "Really? I was there before the reception, and I saw nothing..." "That means the hideout was a success." Anakin replied, maliciously picking up the pace. "Damn it!" you muttered, running after your master and catching your breath every now and then. When you reached the door and the squealing R2-D2, who was also experiencing a pace crisis today, Anakin quickly opened the door, and everyone enthusiastically stepped inside. "Okay, now just stand here and turn around... Unless I blindfold you with something." Anakin said, pointing towards the corner by the door where you were supposed to stand facing away. "Okay, I'd rather just turn around. Let's save that for another occasion." you said with a cheeky smile, which Skywalker reciprocated, and you did as he instructed, turning around and putting your hands behind your back. Anakin stepped back, ensuring that you weren't peeking. Satisfied that you were obedient, he approached one of the hidden compartments in his apartment. You heard behind you the sound of... metal? and heavy, lowering doors, but you patiently waited for the signal to turn around. "Ready?" Anakin asked, his voice filled with excitement. "Like never before." you smiled widely but still kept your eyes on the wall in front of you. "So?" Instead of giving a command, Anakin came over to you. With a gentle move, he grabbed your arms, maneuvering your body so you could turn around and see what he had prepared for you. "Congratulations, Jedi Knight." he whispered tenderly into your ear, and your eyes widened at the sight of the gift. "Is this... QT-KT?" you put your hand over your mouth, unable to believe what you were seeing. "In the flesh." Anakin replied, joyfully watching your reaction. "What did you..." you started, approaching the droid, which was slowly activating. "I tinkered with it a bit, gave it some attention, polished it a bit... Well, and I reprogrammed it just for you." Skywalker answered before you could finish your question. "Are you telling me you did this... for me? Am I to understand that this is my droid?" you asked, looking at your master with immense surprise and affection. "Yes, indeed. I've been planning it for some time and decided that today would be the right day to give you this little surprise." he replied, joyfully watching you test the functions of your new droid. Finally, you stood up from a kneeling position, and still in disbelief, you took a few steps toward the large window in the room.
"Anakin... I... I don't know what to say..." you held your head, turning to Skywalker with a broad smile. Without saying anything, Anakin came over to you and, turning you towards him, embraced you around the waist, and at that moment, your foreheads touched. "I really don't know how to thank you." you whispered, looking into his eyes, and Anakin hugged you very tightlyâdue to your height differenceâalmost lifting you off the floor. "Just... Be here... With me." hearing those words, not knowing why, you pulled away from Anakin's arm to look him in the eyes. "Do you mean... Today?" you asked, wanting to dispel your doubts. "Today..." he left a single kiss on your lips. "Tomorrow..." he kissed your lips twice. "Always." he concluded, pressing his lips to yours in a overwhelming, long kiss. Your heart pounded like a hammer hearing those words... Or rather, THAT word... Your embrace was still very strong, but suddenly you looked aside, through the glass where until now you could mostly see the beautiful, night sky of Coruscant, illuminated by many stars. Without saying anything more, you gently released yourself from Skywalker's embrace and stood by the window, collecting your scattered thoughts. Anakin's words not only ignited you from the inside, not only melted your heart, but also indicated that the time had come. The time to execute your plan. "Can I...?" turning your head to Anakin, you pointed to the open entrance to the terrace. "Sure." Skywalker smiled, gesturing as if to say 'make yourself at home.' Returning his expression, you went to the terrace, and although for the first few moments, you looked around at the starry sky, your goal was entirely differentâand you had it in the palm of your hand. Anakin was still inside, clicking something with your new droid when you had a moment to look around on your own. It didn't take much for your muscles to tense with determinationâyour eyes landed on the guest terrace, which for the night was at PadmĂŠ's disposal, and it was none other than Amidala standing outside, leaning against the railing, watching the movements of night Coruscant. She didn't see you. Not yet. But your plan was clear and straightforwardâshe had to see you, and you had to act. Now or never.
"In moments like these, I truly appreciate this place... It can be genuinely beautiful here. Despite the war... the fear..." you began speaking slowly, trying to capture Anakin's attention as his slow steps approached you. He walked with his hands casually folded behind his back, a smile on his face, and you heightened your senses. You were waiting for the moment when you'd feel the gaze on youâthis time not Anakin's but from the nearly adjacent terrace. Your ability to sense glances was always highly developedâyou excelled in it even more than Anakin himself, so at least in this regard, you sometimes managed to protect him on the battlefield. Now, you felt somewhat like you were on a battlefield, waiting for the right moment to use it and do it in the best possible style. But to gain it, you needed to first capture attention. "Today is exceptionally beautiful here." Anakin said, gently embracing you from behind. "Because you're here." You grabbed his hands, which were tenderly spread over your stomach, and your eyes almost sparkled from the heard words. Suddenly, you decided to turn face to face with Skywalker and placed your hands on his neck. "I'll be by your side..." you whispered, watching his eyes scan every inch of your face. "As long as you want." you finished, being so close to him that you could feel his every breath on your lips. This moment was so priceless for you that you momentarily forgot about your plan, but when it returned to your mind, you once again heightened your senses. Touching Anakin's face and looking into his hungry-for-kisses eyes, you began to take small steps backward, as if you were about to lean against the fountain wall in the middle of the terrace. However, none of your movements were without purpose. Already almost leaning against the stone wall, you initiated stumbling over the flat platform separating the fountain from the rest of the space. Hitting the surface with your heel, you produced a dull sound that, you were sure, reached not only the ears of the two of you. You didn't have to lower your eyes from Anakin to know. To feel that HER gaze landed at the source. That she's already onto you. "Kiss me." you whispered to Anakin, when he, taking advantage of the new position, leaned you against the fountain wall and threw himself onto your lips in a passionate kiss. PadmĂŠ froze, not believing the sight before her eyes. Not believing that her mission failed so miserably. She watched. She watched as her ex-husband kissed you with a passion he might never have given her. She watched as you touched him as if he were yours, and he touched you as if you were his. When she almost ran inside, you smiled in the ongoing kiss, knowing that your intrigue had succeeded. You touched him as if he were yours. He touched you as if you were his. Because you were his. And he was yours.

What are some Obikin fics that you recommend? I'm a new reader so if there are some classics for you I'd love to know them. There are so many fics I don't know where to start but I can't stop thinking about them
I would be happy to share, just know some of the fics I like are strange.
If you donât like them, itâs cool đ
Letâs see hereâŚ.
1. The domestication of Darth Vader
This is an older one that is big on Mama-wan, Vader captures him and Luke and turn into a parenting team. Also omegaverse but man I love this one!
2. A tempting offer!
Oh man this is really good, Omega Obi-wan just lost his husband and offers himself to alpha Padme and alpha Anakin as a surrogate. A lot of drama in this one!
3. My darkness to your light (donât be afraid of the dark)
Empress Obi-wan Kenobi, under Vaders thumb. Mpreg but not omegaverse. Like this whole series inspires me!
4. Come back from the dark!
A completed fic about Obi-wan and baby Luke trying to move on from losing Anakin. Seriously this is one of my favorites!
5. A daydream a reality!
Padawan Obi-wan meets a much older ex Jedi Anakin and falls in love. Not grooming in my opinion, more like Obi-wan choosing his own happiness!
These really are some of my favorite Obikin fanfics. I hope this helps, these are fantastic writers!
All my love Hannibella

All paths lead here.
Part one
Masterlist
Requested - Anakin and senator reader - he protects her from an ex boyfriend whilst slowly falling in love. Found family with Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme
An: I've gotten carried away with this one. Hope you all like it....I am working on three other requests right now so keep an eye out for those ones as well.
Anakin was destined to fall in love with a Senator.
Although, he did not know it would be you.
Trouble follows you around....or is it chasing you?
Your heart ached for your friend, after her communication had come through you had wept. Corde was not just a good handmaiden but a dear friend of hers. The loss would be great and you felt a pinch of it. As your ship broke through the Curisont atmosphere you can't help but feel a sense of dread.
"All will be well, my lady, the talks will go well." Your own handmaid tried to comfort you. You smile to her.
"When does the senate ever agree with anything?" You laugh. One of the security team steps into your cabin and bows his head.
"We are about to land. I am told there will be a Jedi presence to escort you to the senate."
"Thank you mishi." You say as you stand and attach the clock around your shoulders. Looking at your handmaid you felt a twinge of doubt about the whole situation. The air in the ship felt thick, thicker than it should be.
"The air circulator needs repairs. We will see to it whilst you are working my lady." Mishi assured you. The landing ramp began to lower and you felt it before you knew what was happening. A wave of fresh air blew across your face and almost instantly heat hit your back, pushing you forward. Your shoulder hits the hard metal of the ship as you're blown out onto the landing pad. Your ears are ringing with a high pitched bell as feet rush around you. Looking up you see a young man, spiked hair and brilliant blue eyes scooping you up into his arms.
"Mishi, Darey?" You cough out.
"Just stay quiet, Senator. I'll get you out safely." The deep voice echoed into your head as you pressed your ear to his chest, your unharmed arm folded around his neck and clutching his brown robes. You felt the change of light once you were inside, though you kept your eyes shut tight.
"Anakin, what happened?" Another, more authoritative voice asked.
"Master Windu, I believe there was an explosive on the ship." The holding you replied. He set you down on a soft chair. A sofa? Though you clutched his robes tighter when he tried to pull away. His large hand gently removed yours from his clothing, pulling himself back and crouching in front of you.
"Senator, you're hurt. The healers need to check you." He holds your eyes as he speaks, comforting you. A healer approaches, taking his place in front of you. Through the checks you are trying to listen to their conversation.
"Where is Obi-Wan?" Your saviour asks.
"Senator Padme called for his attendance. You did well getting y/l/n in here as fast as you did. Stay with her. I will investigate the ship." Mace spoke quietly. Your attention is taken by a searing pain as the healer popped your shoulder back into place. You cry out as tears drop down your face. The Jedi is by your side quickly holding your good hand.
"I have set the shoulder but the Senator has several small breaks throughout her arm. I will be back within the hour to set and bind it." Nausea is taking over your head, you vaguely hear the Jedi reply to the healer before he leaves.
"What's your name?" You ask weakly.
"Anakin. I'm a Jedi Padawan. I'm going to keep you safe." He answers.
"Okay." You nod, closing your eyes. Your head flops to the side, plopping onto Anakin's shoulder again. A small smile pulls at his lips.
"Okay let's get you into bed." He whispers, lifting you up against his chest again.
Sure you had only closed your eyes for a moment, you are awoken by a gentle hand wrapping something about your right arm. The bandage is cold, wet perhaps? You couldn't be sure. Your eyes opened briefly, scanning the people around you, a medical droid, the healer, a nurse, Anakin. There were others but you couldn't work them out.
"Anakin?" You called out to him, the only person you recognised. The Jedi caught the hand you had lifted in search of him.
"I am here mylady. Stay calm." His voice soothed you. It had to be a Jedi trick.
"I need to get to work. The Senate-"
"Can wait. You still need some rest, Senator." There was a warning in his words. You nod and let the warmth of his palm against yours warm you. Sleep does not come again though your mind relaxes into the soft bed.
The following morning you are sat alone in your apartment watching a particularly boring political summit from your home planet. Your right arm is bandaged in a bacta cast and held in a fabric sling against your body. There is a cut along your hairline that runs down to your left shoulder, a large bruise painted on most of your ribs.
In honesty, you couldn't recall how you had received most of your injuries. Gratefully your head of security was alive, though you figured Mishi would need extra training at least. Your handmaid was not so lucky. It had been some time since you had seen the Jedi, he was called away on other business. You admitt only to yourself that without him around you felt vulnerable. Even with the Chancellor's guards outside your door, the apartment felt too big and too exposed.
Still, you were not from a major planet and you assumed the threat had only been a distraction. A way of lessening what had happened to your friend Padme. Pushing aside your datapad you stood up and wandered around the living area, it was your own, you had stayed there many times over the years. Your father was Senator before you and you'd follow him everywhere. It was too quiet now, with minimum staff and no family running about. A shiver runs through you.
Two months later you were set to return to your home planet of Garu. It was a warm planet, with lush green forests and wide lakes, not too unlike the neighbouring planet Naboo. Your people had perfected living both above and below the water, adapting and evolving for both climates. Your skin held a set of blue, purple and green scales that decorated your pale skin from neck to ankle. If someone did not look too closely they may think it was makeup and not your own flesh. There is a shine to your skin that is dulled by the lights of the city planet making you long for the heat of your home. A man clad in yellow leather stepped into the room. He was your flight planner and now acting head of security.
"My lady, we are ready to leave as soon as you are." He announced.
"Thank you Silo. I will be there in just a moment. Would you mind terribly if we stop by the Jedi temple before we leave?" He nods to you and gestures toward the landing platform. You allow him to help you up the ramp into your ship, it was a Naboo class cruiser, lent to you by the Chancellor himself after your own was blown up. You sat uncomfortably in the cabins still cradling your arm. The wounds had healed but the scars still remained.
At the temple you were greeted by Mace Windu. He looked troubled about something.
"Is everything alright, Master Windu?" You ask, following him inside. You wave a hand back at your security to stay with the ship.
"Many things have changed in recent days." The Master replied solemnly.
"I was saddened to hear about your losses on Geonosis. It is an awful thing." You state, glancing back to make sure you were alone.
"I hate to ask this of you after your losses but I wonder if I might impose on your graces."
"You are concerned about your staff. I agree, you are in a dangerous position. I will give you two men, they are both in need of distractions themselves." Mace guides you through the temple to a smaller room and asks you to wait for a moment.
Upon his return he has two men beside him. One of them you recognise as Anakin, though his padawan braid has been removed and a new metal arm. 'Was it new? Did he always have it?' You kicked yourself for not knowing. There was a new sadness in his eyes that saddened you.
"Lady y/l/n, a pleasure to meet you, finally. Though I wish it was better circumstances. I am Obi-Wan Kenobi. This is Anakin, you've already met."
"Yes, it is a pleasure to meet you Master Kenobi. Anakin." You reach across to him and touch his flesh arm. A smile passed between you both.
"Master Kenobi and newly knighted Lord Skywalker have agreed to accompany you home and take control of security for the time being." Mace explained.
"Perfect. I will feel much better having you both with me." You say sincerely.
"Shall we?" Kenobi nodded toward the door and you walked alongside them both, they flanked you in a way that told anyone looking that you were now their charge. Silo frowned at them as you walked up to the ship. You quickly explained their presence and boarded with them. This time during lift off you didn't feel so uncomfortable. The chairs were not as hard and your shoulder fit nicely atop a cushion.

Ardent (Qimir x Ex Jedi reader)
The beginning Part One of Ardent
Ratings: Angst | Fluff | Strangers to Friends | Friends to Lovers | Abuse | Violence | Questioning the Jedi order | Slowburn
Summary: You have been by his side since the beginning⌠This is your story.
The best down on your form in the training arena located outside. Hundreds of flowers decorated around the outside arena making it serene despite the structure and rigorous exercises you had to go through, but you believed that each test made you stronger and you would become a noble Jedi like your master.
âFix your form padawan.â Your master pointed at the wrong position of your right foot.
âApologies master.â You swiftly fixed your form hoping that you appeased her.
It seemed to work as Master Elysande gave you an appreciative nod, âWell done. Now I want you to concentrate on the way the branch moves on the tree in front of you. Mimic this movement until your energy matchesâŚâ
You listened intently to your master, her black hair braided to fall behind her pointed ears. As you nodded your head you caught movement toward the right of your vision and it was at that moment Qimir walked by, following ardently behind his master, Master Balaam.
His hair fell delicately around his face despite the other padawanâs cutting theirs short to make it easier for training. His padawan braid reach just past his shoulder however, his beads reminding you of the ocean. He kept his gaze on the dark grey robe his master wore, walking swiftly behind him. The small action allowed you to admire him silently from afar. To say that you had a small crush on the boy was an understatement, but you did notice one important detail about him.
Qimir was always⌠Quiet.
You noticed that he tended to keep to himself. He never made a face or spoke against his master. You however were quiet the opposite. You were loud and spirited. You had a million questions, ones that only a few that your master would indulge in. Master Elysande choose you because of your active imagination and bright look about the galaxy. She would say it gave you a footing over the other padawanâs when it came to the force because of how strong your connection was to life around you.
You were quite friendly, but when it came to Qimir⌠Well you felt as if your words were stuck in your throat and you couldnât push yourself to speak. He didnât speak to you either and it would always end with you watching him wordlessly.
Other padawanâs such as your friend Gerel speculated that he was mute. You didnât think she could possibly be right. Ifa just thought that Qimir was strange agreeing with the others. You however were curious about the tall silent boy. You wanted to learn more about him, speak with him and perhaps be friends. You thought that you both would make the perfect pair however, with your daydream you didnât expect his eyes to lock onto yours. Suddenly your cheeks began to burn and you knew it wasnât just from the heat.
âPadawan.â Master Elysande called out to you again for the third time, âFocus.â
You cleared your throat hoping that your cheeks would cool down as you turned your attention back to your master.
âSorry master.â You muttered quickly though secretly you were counting down the minutes until you saw him again.
It seemed that the force was on your side
âWe will begin this new year with something that is a little different from our traditional training. Each of you will be partnering up with one another to improve your connection to the force as well as your combat skills. This partnership will carry on as you become Jediâs.â Master Aarati explained, âIt is up to you to choose your partner wisely so that you may become knowledgeable in the force.â
You were excited for the revelation as you twiddled your fingers under your robes. This was the perfect moment to talk to Qimir without being too pushy. You thought as you looked around.
âDo you want toââ Ifa began, but you couldnât let Ifa finish what they were going to say.
âIâm really sorry but I already have a partner in mind.â You spoke quickly, âMaybe next time!â You called back to your friend as you dove into the crowd. You had a mission and you had your nerves at least for now.
You couldnât mess this up. You wouldnât be able to live with yourself if you did.
Your master also thought you were a bit dramatic in your training as well.
You weaved around padawanâs trying to pick their own partners as you spotted a mop of dark raven hair. Please donât have a partner⌠Please donât have a partner⌠You thought as you finally broke past the hive of padawanâs.
There he stood, looking a bit out of place beside his master. He had his hands clasped behind his back and his gaze looked indifferent as you approached him.
âMaster Balaam.â You greeted his master first with a bow before turning your attention to Qimir, âQimirâŚâ You took a breath, âWould you like to be my partner for this trial?â
You waited with a bated breath as his eyes roamed your figure. You knew you didnât have anything special or unique about you like some of the other padawanâs, but you were content in being normal. He however⌠Was not.
âNo.â
That was the first word he ever said to you⌠No.
The rejection made you feel embarrassed and singled out as you stood there awkwardly.
âNo?â You wanted to be sure, âAre you sure you donâtââ
âI am always certain in what I say.â He replied.
âOhâŚâ Your voice trailed off.
His master didnât seem to make the situation any lighter as he stared silently through your soul. Your master however could sense the growing unease inside of you and gracefully took her place by your side once more.
âIs there a problem?â She directed her question to Master Balaam.
âShe is too frail to train with my padawan. Qimir needs someone who can match his strength with the force.â Master Balaam answered indifferently as if this conversation was wasting his time.
âI see.â Elysande nodded and you had to refrain from laughing at the way she was trying intently not to roll her eyes, âBut before you judge the strength of my padawan by her looks alone. How about we allow our padawanâs to duel. A test of sorts should do the trick in proving you wrong.â
At that you couldnât help but snort. The reaction received a gentle nudge from your master to quiet you down.
âShe wonât last.â Master Balaam said.
âWeâll see about that.â Your master motioned for you to follow her, âFollow us.â She spoke and you were quick to grace her side.
âThat is the boy you were distracted by is it not?â Elysande asked softly. She held no disgust or disappointment in her tone, only a light curiosity that allowed you to open up to her more freely.
You nodded speaking quietly, âHe is⌠Different from the others.â
âDifferent is not always a good thing. Difference can lead you astray from the path.â Your master passed on wisdom.
âI understand master.â You nodded your head.
You found yourself underneath the only plum tree in your temple. You were facing against Qimir who seemed tense under the watchful gaze of his master.
âThis should be quick.â Master Balaam commented and crossed his arms.
Those sharp words had you grinding your teeth as a determined expression took over your usual soft features. You would not be bested by those who think less of you. You readied yourself, holding your lightsaber in first position.
Qimir ignited his lightsaber, holding it in a familiar stance. He didnât seem tense anymore as if he was in his element. You could see that he liked the feel of power from the way his fingers opened and closed around his blue lightsaber.
Your green one flickered against your eyes and you counted down silently at the same time as your master.
âBegin.â Master Elysande said.
You charged Qimir with speed, ready to take him down with the new move you learned, but he sensed your plan and diverted it with a single step. You stumbled towards the tree and you would have face planted against it too if it werenât for Qimir pulling you back by your right arm.
âAccount for your opponents steps. Focus on their movements and not just your own.â He said softly.
You looked up at him before nodded your head and taking a step back, âOkay.â
You returned to your starting spot with a new frame of mind. It was something your master picked up immediately as she watched you take your time to attack Qimir instead of just rushing in.
âThey complement one another.â Master Elysande commented as you told Qimir to be more aggressive when using the force, âThis new training technique may be affective for the future of Jedi.â
âI donât think it is a good thing.â Said Master Balaam motioned to you and Qimir with his head, âThis trial for a new training technique could form attachments amongst the padawan.â
Master Elysande remained quiet in thought wondering if what Master Balaam was explaining could come true.
You continued to spar alongside Qimir. However, you were no match for his quick and precise movements. It was clear that he was being trained relentlessly by his master to become the perfect Jedi. In the end as he pinned you to the ground. Qimir stood over you with his lightsaber pointed at your neck.
âWell done.â Your master nodded her head in approval and you smiled despite losing.
Master Balaam however said nothing as Qimir looked at him. You could see the way his shoulders slumped only slightly and you could only imagine how dejected he must feel. That is why you brought his attention back to you and tried to cheer him up.
âGood fight.â You took a deep breath. It was quite a work out and exhaustion overtook you.
He turned off his lightsaber and clipped it back onto his belt, âIt was.â He said as he stuck his hand out towards you.
You took it gratefully and allowed him to pull you up, âSo does this mean that you will have me as your partner?â
âYââ Qimir didnât get a chance to give his answer before Master Balaam tugged him back by his robe.
âNo.â Master Balaam stated as he stepped in front of him, âYouâve only proven to me how reckless you are young padawan.â
âShe has only proven to be a good match for Qimir.â Master Elysande intervened, âThey can hone their skills by working together.â She clasped her hands over her stomach, âI believe that their differences can bring the best out of each other.â
âOr the worst.â Master Balaam waved his hand dismissively, âCome padawan. Let us go.â
Qimir glanced at you with a sad look in his eyes before following his masterâs order. You looked to your master with wide and expressive eyes that showed how upset you were at not being paired with Qimir.
âWait.â Master Elysande called out to Balaam, âLetâs us see what the council thinks.â
You never knew how much you appreciated your master until that very moment.
You stood behind your master as she explained to the council the benefits of pairing both you and Qimir together.
âWe decided on this trial for a reason. I believe these two will be a successful case by the time they become Jedi knights.â Master Elysande explained.
âIt is a foolish dream driven by a desire to put your padawan ahead. She is not as skilled as Qimir and never will be. I do not see any reason why they should continue to train together.â Master Balaam countered.
You peaked over at Qimir as the council murmured about what they should do about this predicament. Qimir didnât show any emotion on his face. He looked calm as his hands were clasped behind his back. He didnât show the childlike personality that the two of you should have at your age.
He wonât look over at me either. He must know that I am staring at him. You thought, a small disappointed frown on your face as you focused your attention back on your master. You wanted to joke with him, perhaps make him laugh at the audacity that his master had.
âWe incline to agree with Master Elysande.â Master Charvik finally announced.
Master Faheem whose eyes shine of the brightest ocean and skin the color of turquoise to accent her gills also chimed in, âI have had a vision through the force as well. I believe that the force has called the two together for a reason⌠One I do not understand, but a reason that will create a strong bond within the force.â
âI agree with your wisdom Master Faheem.â Master Charvin said, the cloth wrapped around his hands slightly unraveled as he motioned for the meeting to come to an end.
Relief filled your lungs as you breathed out. You were nervous about what Master Faheem saw in her vision, but excited to continue your training with Qimir. You only hoped that he felt the same way⌠You just wanted to become as strong as he was. To understand his way of the force.
âThen it is settled.â Master Balaamâs jaw was clenched, but he didnât show any other signs of anger, âQimir will continue his training alongside Master Elysandeâs padawan. Let us hope that your vision is not wrong Master Faheem.â A thin frown graced his lips as a sour tone overtook his tone.
The council paid no mind to Master Balaamâs dismay over the matter and did what they did best, hide their feelings.
âThank you for your thoughts and decision on this subject.â Master Elysande nodded her head towards the Jedi council before turning to leave the room. You fell into step with her as the two of you left, you with a pep in your step as you walked.
As you and your master internally commended your victory, you made a silent vow to bake master Elysande the best batch of muffins she had ever tasted in thanks to her. In your promise you turned your head to find Master Balaam and Qimir walk past the both of you.
You didnât expect anything from them so it came as a surprise when you felt a tiny scroll of paper being slipped into your small hand. Qimir didnât speak of it as he continued to follow his master who was swiftly trying to get past you.
Your heart raced as you waited until you were in the safety of your room to unroll the piece of paper. It was then that you knew even as young as you were that he was going to be apart of your life forever. Your very first crush created just from a few words scrawled on a piece of paper.
Meet me by the plum tree tonight. I really
Thank you. â Q

Total Allergy - No Mando'a, please.
On a related note, if you would prefer not to have minimal or any swearing in your fic I'd be happy to do that too!
Clone whitewashing: I believe in evidence of Temuera Morrison's physical characteristics in our beloved Republic troopers, here. Some descriptions of what these characters look like will be different than their visual portrayals in much of animated Star Wars media.
"Clonecest" or "Clone-shipping" subject matter: I understand people will do as they please, but I do not personally consume or enjoy this material. I will never see them as anything other than brothers, as they are referred to in canon/legends content. Respect my boundaries. That is all.
Captain Rex x Ahsoka [Rexsoka] material: Again, I acknowledge people will read, write, and like what they please. But I am not comfortable with this business. It is simply too questionable, to me personally. (Yes, even when Ahsoka is older in series such as Rebels.) Respect my boundaries, please. I have spoken.
On a similar note: Master x Padawan!Readers. Uh-uh. Not happening. Not even platonic.
WILL NOT FULFILL REQUESTS INVOLVING THE FOLLOWING
Incest, grooming, or other abusive/harmful dynamics
Dubious consent [shortened to "dub-con" with or without hyphen]
Non-consent/consensual ["Non-con" with or without hyphen] - My belief is that non-con does not differ from rape in any way and you don't have to agree with me. But I will enforce my boundaries.
Consensual non-consent [CNC] - not my kink or cup of tea, amigo.
Bigoted, hateful or upsetting content like racism/xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ageism or ableism.
I AM NOT COMFORTABLE WRITING THE FOLLOWING
EXPLICIT smut, as of now. (But never say never!)
M[ale]!Readers - Afraid I lack the experience...
Stories involving OCs belonging to you and/or your friends/someone else; would hate to mess up precious details that are very important to you/them about this original character.
TO CONCLUDE: PLEASE KEEP IN MIND
I reserve the right to decline requests; whatever the reason may be. More than likely, I will give you my reasoning and encourage you to re-request. (But I am not obligated to do so.)
I WILL either delete or postpone a request if you are rude, demanding or impatient with me. Fanfiction is not my job, it is a hobby.
I've already turned one of my hobbies into a job, I will not be adding another. This is done for free, for fun, and as time and health allows. As an late-diagnosed adult with ADHD and chronic health conditions that impact those dreaded Adult Responsibilities, I give my requests first priority. Unfortunately, the inspiration is out running errands when the energy is sitting at home waiting, sometimes. That's as frustrating for me as it is for you. Please be patient with me.
If you're curious about how close I am to completing your request, you are more than welcome to ask. So long as it is done fairly respectfully and all that. But being nasty about it means your ask will be trashed and I'll publish the story whenever I feel like it. (Or not.)
This is War of Stars and Shit's Whack Anyways: I value having a bit of fun with the source material above complete and strict adherence to it! And if someone else requested something that doesn't align to whatever the current canon is? So what. This franchise is a giant sandbox full of lots of other little sandboxes. I want people to enjoy their request and have fun reading it.
If you ever have questions, or would like me to clarify something here, please don't hesitate to drop by my ask box or DMs for a chat. You are also welcome to come ask about things I've previously written, fish for answers about particular headcanons I've worked into the fabric of a story, or just indulge your curiosity about all these Clone OCs I keep sneaking into everything.
Authors appreciate having a chance to hear from people who've taken the time to read what we've written! Take care, and may the Force be with you. đЎ

Betrayal
Pairing(s): Jesse x gn! reader
Tags/warnings: angst, major character death, order 66
Word count: 1k
After you and the ex-padawan, Ahsoka Tano had captured Maul, you were on your way back to Coruscant. Once you made sure the former sith was secured, you went to your private quarters to take a nap. While sleeping, you had an awful nightmare of the clones betraying the Jedi, but when you woke up, you figured that the bad dream was actually a collage of visions.
Now, you laid strapped to a table in the infirmary with only one other person; your boyfriend Jesse. You and him had been dating for a long time now, almost since the beginning of the Clone Wars. It really hurt seeing that Jesse could turn so easily.
You lifted your head from the table and watched as he polished his blasters. 'He always manages to do the wrong thing in the worst moments.' You thought. Out of habit from previous times you'd been held hostage, you began tugging at the restraints holding you down, quickly grabbing the clone's attention.
"How cute." The arc trooper turned to face you. "Struggle all you want, but you won't get out of here."
  You ignored his comment and continued to tug as he approached you. You hadn't even noticed, but you were crying.
You were crying not only due to the fact that the tugging was making your wrists sore, but also because of your boyfriend's betrayal to you and the Jedi.
Finally, you gave up, gluing your eyes to the ceiling. "So what, you're going to kill me now?" You spoke in almost a whisper. "After everything we've shared, everything we've been through?"
Jesse went silent for a moment, his heart aching. He knew that deep down inside, he loved you, he didn't want to hurt you, but there was so much pain in his head. It was as if the pain intensified if he even thought about letting you go. "I have my orders, L/N." He hadn't called you by your last name since before you started your relationship. It stung to hear him address you that way.
"Listen to me Jesse, you're scared, and confused... but I can help you. You don't want to do this, you don't want to kill me."
"Get out of my head!" He snapped. Without thinking, he pointed one of his blasters directly at you. Your eyes squeezed shut, ready for the trigger to be pulled, but Jesse hadn't done it yet.
You reopened your eyes and looked at him. Jesse was still wearing his helmet, but you know that you were looking him in those beautiful honey brown eyes of his. "I love you Jess." You told him. "I always have, you know that. If you've ever loved me, you will let me go."
"Quiet!" He lowered his weapon. "Let me think."
You thought about screaming or yelling for help in hopes that maybe Ahsoka was still alive. She had to be somewhere on this cruiser, you just hoped that she was fairing better than you. If you did call for help, that could draw attention from other clones, and result in your death a lot quicker. With one more attempt, you took a deep breath and blinked a few of your tears away. "Can I at least see my boyfriend's face one last time? Can you remove your helmet for me?"
The clone stood still, his heart racing. He was nervous about something, and it wasn't the fact that he had to kill you. You heard a small huff from behind his helmet as he tucked his blaster back into it's rightful holster. Jesse then raised his gloved hands to the helmet and hesitantly pulled it off. You noticed that his eyes were swollen, that he had been crying too. Your boyfriend didn't want to do this, it was tearing him apart.
Once more, your tears returned as you longed to hug him, to tell him everything was going to be fine, but you both know that wouldn't be true.
Jesse couldn't look you in the eyes, he looked anywhere but at you. "I don't know what to do." He lowered his voice. "I... can't control myself."
"I know, love, I know. None of this is your fault." You tried to reason with him. "If you let me go, I can help you control it, I promise."
"You don't know what's going on in here!" He pointed to his temple. "You can't feel the pain, you can't hear the voices!"
"No, I can't, but I can help. I can make it stop, you have to trust me."
"No one can help me, not even you." Jesse walked over to your side. "What I'm doing is right because good soldiers follow orders."
"Good soldiers do the right thing, and the right thing is not killing innocent Jedi! Think about it Jess, what have I done wrong? I've never betrayed the Republic!"
 The confused clone finally looked you in the eyes with a frown. At that moment, you knew that you wouldn't be leaving the room alive. "If I don't do this, then I will betray the Republic."
"I can't save you if you don't want to be saved Jesse." You gave one last pull at your restraints. "If you're going to kill me, could I.. at least get one more kiss from you?"
His eyes shifted down to your lips, a pained look on his face. "Close your eyes." He whispered. "It'll be over quick."
You looked at your love for the final time before you did as told. "I-I love you Je-"
The shot from his blaster echoed throughout the room.
Your head fell to the side, smoke emitting from the new blaster wound in your chest. Jesse took a step back, his arm dropping to his side. He couldn't process the horrible thing he'd just done. All emotion on his face faded away as he raised his helmet to his head. Once it was on he turned his back to your limp body and silently left the room with four words on his mind.
Good soldiers follow orders.

No Matter Where You Go, I Will Find You. part 3
Hi everyone! We have made it to Part 3! Thank you for coming on this wonderful journey with me. I have at least 6 chapters already written and the story will be longer than that. I appreciate all of your love and reblogs and everything you say about it. Seriously, I love you all. Also, I am toying with the idea of a Bad Batch x reader story AU. Let me know if there is any want for that. Thanks!!!
As always:
This will eventually be a 18+ older fic and will deal with anxiety, death, sex, Â PTSD, murder, loss, found family, Order 66, and coming to terms. This is not just a fluff fic. It will very much be dealing with very dark and hard themes, so please, if that is something that can be too hard for you, donât read.
Pairings: Rex x Reader x Cody (polyamory) I should say this is NOT a Rex x Cody fic. There will be ZERO Clonecest on this blog or story. Reader is a consensual relationship with Rex and with Cody. Yes they share, yes they will eventually have sex together, but Cody and Rex are NOT in a relationship nor will they be intimate.
Rating: 18+
TW: Death, Murder, infanticide, death of the Jedi, PTSD, Loss, Anxiety, eating disorders, sleep disorders, Order 66. I will add other things as I think about them
Part 3: Again
It had taken you longer to get to Hondo than you would have liked. But, of course he had to be by some out of the way planet, forgotten by most. You pride yourself on your extensive knowledge of the planetary systems, knowing obscure things that even had Master Yoda chuckling with delight. But this place? You had no idea where it was. It never showed up on any star chart and quite frankly you were fairly certain he gave you incorrect coordinates. But, still, you went there to meet him. You had to laugh to yourself when you saw his ship waiting for you, floating in the dead of space. Hondo was telling the truth.Â
"Kriffing pirates," you mumbled to no one, chuckling as you started preparing your ship to dock with his. No matter how many star charts you studied, how many space lanes you memorized, he would always know more obscure things than you.
As you finished the docking sequence and began to enter his ship, you mulled over what he would want to show you. Something he was either desperate to have or knew you would want immediately. Something he wouldnât risk saying over a commed link, even if it was secure. Â Honestly if this was another wild goose chase he put you on for something he could find at any market stall on any of the core planets...well you wouldnât do anything except grumble while you went and got it. You should hate the power Hondo had over you, but you didnât. He never did anything to you out of ill will or because he could. Hondo was just eccentric.Â
âButâŚ,âyou couldnât help think. But what if? What if? What if he finally found something you truly needed?Â
     Could it finally be Codyâs helm? Or could it be a piece of Rex? You knew in your heart it wasnât either of those, it never was, but still you hoped. Still you held on and asked the Force to give you just this one win. Just this once, let you have something of Rex. Anything would do. A pauldron, his Kama, a piece off of his belt, something, anything. You just wanted some piece of him to hold onto. You missed him so much. You missed them both, but where Cody could be hard and demanding and strict, Rex was soft and loving. He would hold your fingers in secret where Cody would just stand. Rex would let his hand linger on your shoulder a few seconds longer than need be, while Cody would just grunt in acknowledgement. Rex would praise you after training; Cody would demand perfection, pushing you harder than Obi-Wan ever would. But when he would show you his love, Cody would love with the brilliance of a burning sun.
Hondo waved at you from the otherside of his door, giving you a flourished bow before opening the airlock. But as you walked in, your mind wandered, thinking to your lovers.Â
You missed them both so much and you could use a few of their pep-talks, especially now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Obi-Wan and Anakin stood on the Training Observation Deck of the Negotiator, watching their Padawans work through a strenuous series of obstacles and training droids.
Cody and Rex stood on the sides of their respective Generals, watching as well.
Ashoka did well, flipping, moving, and swinging her saber with ease. Each of her targets went down with raw power, showing how strong she was getting. You, on the other hand, were tired and sore and not moving as quickly as you usually do. But, that was because Ashoka just came back off a week's leave from Coruscant and you had recently gotten shipside from a long and drawn out campaign with Foxtrot Group. You were exhausted when she was refreshed. But that didn't mean you could slack off in your training. You had to be stronger, you had to be better. You were Jedi, you would not fail.
Ashoka finished the trial a few seconds before you did, landing at the finish line on one foot. Just as you were about to execute your final flip, the training block shifted underneath you, causing your foot to slip. Before you could right yourself, a stun bolt hit you square in the back, knocking you down. You landed on the ground with a hard and loud thud, ending the exercise.
Obi-Wan watched as Ashoka went to help you up, feeling guilty for having you train. He knew you were tired and drained, but you had insisted on working with the other Padawan. He should have put his foot down and told you to get some sleep. But he didn't and here you all were.Â
Anakin walked forward to the console and stopped the exercise, reseting it.
"Good job Snips, finally getting that barrel flip down.â He called over the comm. âThank you, Master.âÂ
You were standing behind Ashoka as she spoke to her Master, dusting off your robes and massaging your neck, disappointed in yourself. You should have sensed that bolt coming, you should have been able to right yourself and finish the test. You stood there, mentally berating yourself so much that you didn't realize Obi-Wan had started to address you.
"It's alright Young One, you did excellent, but I fear your exhaustion has hindered your training for today. Why don't you go and eat and get some much needed rest and we can revisit this at a later time."
Obi-Wan, ever the loving caretaker, cursed himself for even allowing you to work in your state. You could have gotten seriously injured and where would that have put you? He knew in all honesty you should be in the medbay getting checked out and possibly doing a little time in a bacta tank.
But, Marshal Commander Cody thought differently. Ever the perfectionist, he would not accept this as the end of your session. With his bucket under his left arm, he walked up to the console and pressed the comm, calling you.
"No Jed'ika. Start over."
You looked up into the window of the viewing deck and saw him staring at you, eyes hard. The others looked on in mild concern and irritation. Obi-Wan was about to chastise his second, when he noticed you move to the beginning and prepare for another assault. You knew he was right, he always was. You could do better, you should be doing better, but you let your exhaustion lie to you. You werenât so tired that you couldnât finish this level. Youâve done this countless times, late in the evening, with Cody at your side. There was absolutely no reason you couldnât finish it now.
Cody looked back to his General for a split second, as if looking for permission, before restarting the training exercise. This time, as you went though the course, you only made it halfway before failing again. There was a trick shot the training droids took that you werenât prepared for and you took another bolt to your upper thigh. You were going to have an ugly bruise in a few hours.
Gingerly you stood, favoring your leg for a few seconds before shaking it off. Just another color added to your already mottled and scarred skin.Â
As you went to stand, you saw the course reset once more and heard Codyâs voice over the comms, âAgain.â
Rex didnât like this, but he knew what Cody was doing. He knew if you were just pushed harder, if you were taken to your limit, you would not fail. He also knew that if you left the course without succeeding you would beat yourself up for days, feeling weak and useless. Rex didnât like it, but he agreed. Obi-Wan watched on, focusing on your resilience and strength in the Force, humbled by his young Padawan. Anakin, on the other hand, didnât like what was happening and felt that the Commander of the 212th was being too careless with your safety. This went on for some time, Cody would call for you to restart, you would fail, you would get up, and he would call again. Over and over and over.Â
Finally, after what seemed like hours, Anakin had enough. âThis is absurd! Sheâs clearly tired and needs rest. Hells, she needs time in the Medbay!â He walked up to the console and used his shoulder to push Cody out of the way, calling to you, âPadawan, youâre done now. Go straight to the Medbay. I want Kix to look you over.â He turned to Rex, âSee she gets there, I donât trust the Commander at the moment.â
Ashoka looked visibly uncomfortable from where she stood on the viewing deck and gazed up at Obi-Wan for any kind of reaction. He said nothing, just watching his Padawan try to get up off of the mat while pulling at the hairs in his beard. Before he could give the order for Cody to help take you to the medbay, Cody unceremoniously stomped over to the lift door and went down into the training room. They watched as he approached you and pulled you up, speaking harshly in a hushed tone to you.
You watched as Cody barreled towards you and crouched down at your eyelevel to look at you sternly. âGet up, Jedâika. Get up. You donât have time to wallow in your self pity. You donât have time to lay here. You donât have time to fail! Get up!â You listened to his words and tried to stand, but your knee where you had just taken a bolt gave out and you fell. Cody wrapped his hand around your bicep firmly and pulled you up.
âEach time you fail, another one of your men dies! You get up and you do it again! Each failure is another soldiers life gone! The men you swore to protect! Get up!â You nodded and stood on your own feet, albeit wearily. He was right. âYou are a Jedi. You are not some clanker who falls over with the slightest push. You are better than this! You are better than your failure. You are Jedi. Do better. What is it that youâre always quoting from General Yoda? There is no try. You either do it, or you fail. And I do not accept failure! AGAIN.â Once he knew you were on stable legs, he stalked off to the sideline and prepared to yell at you more as you went through the program.
âMaster, this is ridiculous! Cody has lost his mind! Sheâs too tired and needs medical attention.â Anakin was almost shaking; he was so upset. Who did Cody think he was? You were going to get seriously injured if you continued on. You needed rest and bacta, not constant berating and training. This wasnât the way one taught a Padawan. This wasnât the way Obi-Wan taught him.
 Obi-Wan quirked an eyebrow at Anakin and breathed loudly out his nose, removing his hand from his beard. âYes, I do believe you are right, Anakin. It seems I have let this get out of hand.â He stood closer to the control panel, hand hovering over the comms, but instead of turning off the program, he restarted it and turned it to a higher level of intensity. Anakin balked.
 âMaster! Sheâs going to get killed!â Ashoka cried out, looked to her Master and back to Obi-Wan, a strange feeling of anxiety sitting in her throat. It seemed through all the arguing and annoyances the Jedi were currently engaged in, they forgot about the Captain standing there, bucket under his arm, watching his brother and his Jedâika. In his mind he kept a chant of âCome on, come on, you can do this.â Over and over he thought, urging you to finish it. He wanted nothing more than in that moment to run down there and do as Cody was doing. He wanted to push you further, to push you to where he knew you could go. But he couldnât, he was made to stand at ease and watch everything from the viewing deck. But, everything in him was down there on the mat with you, his most beloved, urging you to be better. The only thing on his mind was watching you finish this training exercise, going to your quarters to help you bathe, wrap your wounds, and finally making sure you ate a good meal. If he knew his brother, which he did, Cody was thinking the same thing.
You stood at the beginning once more and took a deep breath, hearing the mechanical beep signaling the beginning of the exercise. âDo better,â you thought, before starting. You moved quickly through, dodging each blast, flipping and jumping higher and higher onto different ledges, using your saber to volley away bolts you could not dodge on your own, until you got to the point where you kept failing. Through the course, you could hear Cody yelling at you to keep going, keep moving, to not stop. You could hear him demanding excellence from you, he wanted more than what you thought you could give. He wanted perfection. It pushed you to go further, to work harder, to be better. You wouldn't fail your men and you wouldn't fail Cody. You dug deep into yourself and thought back to the training your former Master gave you, to that harsh and dangerous form. You could do it, you just had to concentrate. If you could find your center, you could toe that line made of shadows while still holding onto the light. You breathed deep, âallow your emotions to guide your strikes...feel that bubbling of anger and frustration, grab onto it to push you further. But do not give in. Just use it to fuel your power.â Your old Masterâs voice rang in your head, their training at the forefront of your mind. Multiple bolts fired at once, but instead of one landing a hit, you switched into Form VII, into Juyo. The most difficult saber form, Juyo was dark and dangerous, only used by those skillful Masters equipped with the knowledge of what it means to touch the Darkside and still stand in the Light. Used by your old Master.. taught to you by them in the shadows of Malachor⌠You shook your muscles out before jumping up against a wall structure, running its length with ease as more bolts were blocked. As you reached its end, you bounced over to the other wall and repeated the pattern, running and blocking, before twisting up onto its ledge. You stood, saber drawn across your body, balancing on the balls of your left foot as your right sat crossed on your thigh. You waited, breathing in and feeling the pulse of the machines across the Force.Â
THERE.Â
You flipped up, saber swinging around you in a figure eight, blocking each bolt back, volleying them towards the mechanical guns that sprang from the walls.
You landed once more in your previous spot before swan diving to the ground, landing with practiced grace and ease at the end, having finally completed the exercise. âKark yeah!â Cody grunted, quickly walking to you. You had a tired smile on your face when he reached you. He reached out to grab your shoulder, squeezing it gently, before letting his hand fall away just as quickly. You looked up at him with adoration.Â
âI knew you could do it, Cyare,â he whispered, praising you, before taking a respectful stance, remembering that you were a superior and that you both were not alone. You nodded your thanks and tried to give him a look that said, "I love you". Hopefully he understood. He did.
Cody went to get you a towel to wipe your face as the others joined you on the mat. There were praises and excitement from the other Padawan, but both Obi-Wan and Anakin shared a look; they knew those moves. Knew that stance. A dangerous form like Juyo left unchecked could cause irreparable damage. It might be time for you to study a little under Master Windu if you are to continue in that form. Either way, Obi-Wan could feel the relief and happiness rolling off you, it could wait for another day. He also noticed a few feelings not very Jedi-like, aimed at the Marshall Commander and the Jaig-eyed Captain of the 501st. He quirked an eyebrow, but still he smiled his dazzling smile at you.
Obi-Wan was so proud of you, you felt giddy. It was all you ever wanted, and you knew you had it. He was proud of you.You proved to yourself and your Master that you werenât some weak kid playing at being a Jedi. You truly were one and no matter how tired or weary you were, you could finish what you started.Â
Later that evening, after getting off duty, Rex made his way to your quarters, a tray of food in hand and a few bandages in the other. He hadn't even stopped at his bunk to change out of his armor. He went straight to the mess hall and then to you, wanting to check in.
When he approached your door, he knocked once before punching in your code, knowing he'd always be welcomed in. When the door slid open, he couldn't help but smile under his helmet at the sight.Â
You were sitting on the edge of your desk, freshly showered, robes put away, wearing loose, grey, linen pants and a black smallshirt. Cody was also freshly showered and in clean blacks, his armor stacked neatly by your bed. He sat in your chair, positioned between your legs, wrapping scrapes and cuts from the campaign and the training from earlier in fresh bandages, rubbing bacta on your bruises, and whispering words of praise and love to you.
Beside you both were 3 trays of untouched food, waiting to be consumed; one for you, one for Cody, and one for Rex.Â
Rex entered, letting the door slide closed behind him, a soft smile on his lips. He placed the extra tray of food next to the others, took off his bucket, and dropped a kiss to the top of your head before heading to your small refresher. When he exited, loose towel around his waist, Codyâs head was already buried between your naked thighs.
That night you all had the best sleep in ages, you sandwiched between the two men, tangled in sheets and their limbs, finally able to be together after so long apart. None of you would trade it for the world.Â
