Grips your face. I don't think your Cosmo is boring for being canon compliant! I actually find it refreshing tbh! It's fun to see everyone's different AUs and interpretations, but with how wide spread AU stuff is, canon compliant stuff is a nice change of pace imo!! Scratches an itch in my brain for me!!

I adore so many artists' interpretation of the characters. Whether it's for AUs or designs in general.

I just find it difficult to draw the Toons with human-like proportions, and I care a LOT about keeping my stuff canon-compliant more than others do I guess?? (Not sure)

Tho I find it funny how a lot of artists make the Toons close to the average human height and so human-like in their designs. Cause like... What do the humans themselves look like then... Are they the same height too. I can't imagine Sam McLaughlin and Sprout Seedly being the same height.

I hope this doesn't come across as slander,, 😭 Far from it. Not everyone cares about keeping things close to canon and that's completely okay. I still love everyone's work.

Dandy's World lore interests me a lot and I love basing my headcanons and comics all around it. Which is partly why I base my guys off of Qwel's style with my own spin.

There's my human designs too.. Tbh I've only really made gijinkas because if I can't give them human-like proportions as Toons then why not go full out human!

You probably mean my current main characters, Vasco (the golden floppy-eared dog) and Machete (the pointy white dog). They're a couple living in the late 16th century Italy, at the very end of the Renaissance era. Vasco comes from a wealthy noble background and has a career in politics. Machete is a catholic cardinal, and as a secretary of state he oversees Vatican's foreign politics. Due to their surroundings they have to keep their relationship strictly secret.

Vasco originates in and lives in Florence. Machete is originally from Sicily and lives in Rome. They first met in their late teens/early adulthood when they were both studying in Venice. They were best friends before their feelings deepened, but eventually they had to separate. Machete graduated and was ordained a priest as intended. Vasco dropped out and returned home, where his family pressured him into wedlock. He ended up in a lavender marriage with a lesbian noblewoman named Ludovica (the red and white spaniel), she also has her own partner (still unnamed). Vasco and Ludovica are close friends, they get along well and cover each others' backs, but their union is purely platonic.

Machete and Vasco reunited in their early thirties by random chance, largely because they both work in foreign relations, and quickly resumed where they left off. They don't live together and can only see each other intermittently. Usually it's Vasco who visits Machete in Rome under the guise of working as a Florentine ambassador, but sometimes Machete manages to find an excuse to travel to see Vasco as well. They stay together for over a decade, meeting in secret and maintaining regular correspondence when their duties keep them apart (and quietly come to regard each other as their spouse), until Machete gets assassinated in his early/mid fourties. Vasco lives to his seventies and dies of old age.

They also have a modern au, which works as a sort of a reincarnation situation. They get to be a couple openly, get married eventually and grow old together.

Twisted Wilt's appearance resembles a broken down, torn appart puppet. The puppet design is pretty much a metaphor to how Wilt's kindness gets taken advantage of like if he was a puppet. And as for details... What was left of broken arm was completely ripped off, and as for his other, it has been turned into a long thin claw. His wonky eye has been torn off as well, and so are his legs, instead his torn appart legs have been replaced by red strings, in which he uses for traveling when someone triggers him. His whole body is covered in red strings with ichor stains on them. And as for his set expression, his expression is that of a FORCED smile.

Not sure… maybe he runs the Funeral home with Tambry. They’re like super goth together. He turns up, tells the kids spooky stories, and leaves.

Or maybe he’s a random cashier at the local corner shop. The Stan twins run in there all the time, and Robbie keeps trying to get the kids to go to his shows. Wendy freakin hates him, because their exes.

maybe hes ghost eyes, the guy in the prison with Gideon. He thinks he’s tough, and he got Wendy into a life of crime when they were young. They broke up when Wendy decided to go straight, and Robbie got pissy.

I know I swapped Wendy with Soos, but I lowkey think that in terms of Crime, I kinda swapped her with Stan too. So maybe Robbie was Wendy’s Carla McCorkle.
