so apparently during the friday performance of Exit82′s be more chill @incendiarysongbird informed me that Michael lost his mountain dew red in his backpack during the play scene and i don’t think i found anything funnier

Hey so I was watching your left 2 chill au videos and my brain sparked some creativity to make an au like this but I'm asking you permission since it kinda connects to your au and I don't want to make you uncomfortable or upset

But basically when the infection started squip got disconnected from Jeremy and lost him so basically he's on a mission to find Jeremy but along the way he meets others squips and slowly forms personal connections with them but the worst part is that in some occasions when squips were still connected with an infected zombies they kinda turn into digital zombies so they have to deal with that so that means angst

So. There's a little quirk to Left 2 Chill that isn't really obvious from the videos and art I've posted. And that is that.. squips aren't in the story. No computers in brains. None of that. Squipcident never happened.

Which more or less means that if you wanted to make a zombie au with this squip plot, it could basically be its own thing UNLESS you were to ALSO base it off of the Left 4 Dead games as I did, with all the Special Infected and whatnot.

So I kind of have two answers. If this is just any old zombie apocalypse au with your squippy twist, I say there's no harm since hey, I didn't invent zombie aus. I didn't even invent the first bmc zombie au.

Buuut I did invent the L4D/BMC/DEH zombie au. So if you were to use the Left 4 Dead Infection/storyline specific to L2C, of which you can read on ao3, then at least some credit/specification of inspiration would be appreciated.

Now I say that squips aren't a thing in this au, and that's still true as there are no supercomputers. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't add a reference to the squips in the form of their actors' names

Oh I am so intrigued about TCC,,, this kind of content is my jam!

Glad to hear it!! Because I’m the only one really working on character design (I have staff on discord but they’re not in charge of that, I’m responsible for the default character designs) I’ll show you what I have right now!

(Up left - River [Two River], Up right - Rando [An OC collectively made by me and the past creators], Down left - Jay [Broadway], Down right - Fanon [Keanu Squip Basically])

Because they are resembled by the actual versions of each different Squip, I made a conscious decision to make them not look EXACTLY like their original actor just to make sure no one gets uncomfortable or think I’m shipping actors, especially since that shit is weird..

This isn’t even the full cast but they all have different personalities and traits that I feel resembles each Squip as their own but still trail back to the serious and coordinated computer they were meant to be!

Arguably the best part of Exit 82′s production of Be More Chill was one specific thing Sal Pavia did repeatedly in his portrayal of the Squip. For the most part, he had to stand up on the platforms overlooking the other characters, and sometimes he’d stand there for minutes on end without dialogue. During these periods of silence, he’d assume the classic early-2000′s boy band squat position and stay there, peering dramatically down, until it was his turn to talk. It was simultaneously the most beautiful and most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen.

You know, now that we have a female Squip portrayal thanks to Be More Chill Manly, and after seeing pictures of her in full costume, I keep imagining the OG Squip and Exit 82 Squip meeting Aussie Squip, like how people have been drawing both BMC productions together, and the two of them just being taken aback by how freaking gorgeous she is. (Reference here; she’s in the second and third pictures, and the last two; she’s beautiful, tell me I’m wrong)

Aussie Squip: So, you two are my American counterparts?
