Are you still taking fandom asks? Because I gotta rant about female characters. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched Voltron, and I’ve only watched it once. However, from what I remember, I think Allura was a well-written female character. She was beautiful, yes, but also compassionate and intelligent and stuck to her values and was also a funny, amusing character to watch interact with the others. I’m just tired of people in other fandoms accusing me of misogyny because of my opinions on female characters in certain shows. I know this is a cliche but they seriously need to log off of the internet to touch grass and recognize that opinions about friggin cartoon characters is NOT reflective of how someone treats people in reality. Also, I’m tired of the Ty Lee simps in the ATLA fandom. I like her as a character, she’s sweet and funny, but the male fans just see big 2D boobs and that’s the only thought they have.

I'm always taking fandom asks. And yeah, the way fandom treats female characters is exhausting sometimes. Especially if you're talking about their negative traits, or even just admitting they have flaws. Lots of people get really mad at the insinuation that women aren't perfect, even if those women are fictional.

He had done it again, hadn’t he? Denki thought as he silently cried in his dorm room, his face shoved in his pillow.

He had a dumb idea and it caused him to fail.. again. Why couldn’t he ever learn?

That’s not to mention the last math test… Kaminari winced at the thought.

These thoughts continued to plague the blond hero-in-training for a while, the only thing he was doing being sobbing quietly into his pillow.

Kirishima felt something was… off.

He didn’t know what it was, or how he knew, but he just felt it.

He decided to grab some snacks and check on all his friends.

“Hey, Sero?” He called out, with slight worry for whoever was feeling bad.

“Yeah Kiri?” Sero called out, nervous , as he could hear the tone in the red-heads voice.

“Is something wrong?” Sero finished, hoping to ease his own fears, as he opened his door.

“I actually came to ask you that . “ the other replied, casually but still weary.

“Why? “

“Something’s just off, man. I think one of our friends is upset. “

“Oh! I hope you find out who it is. You’re great at cheering people up! I would help, but I’m working on a project right now.”

“It’s okay, see you man!”

This process continued with all of Kirishima’s friends. All of them were at a loss. The last one to check on .. was Denki.

Kiri stood outside his door, hearing the faint crying coming from his friends room. “Oh, no.” He sighed, sad that his friend was upset.

He knocked gently. “Hey, Denks? Can I come in?”

“Yeah.” Came the voice, rough and exhausted, supposedly from crying. “Come on in.”

“Oh, denks!” Kiri cried out, his heart just breaking seeing his normally cheerful friend so sad.

He immediately rushed over to give Denki a hug, which he gladly returned.

“What’s wrong?” Kiri softly asked.

“I just…” Kami’s voice broke . “I feel so stupid, Kiri.”

“You’re not stupid. “ the other spoke, pulling away from the huh gently . “You may not have the best grades, but you are smart for other reasons, Denki.”

“I definitely don’t feel like that, though..”

“It’s okay, we all have our own insecurities. That’s what friends are for, to help us work through them. “

Kirishima was comforting Denki for another minute , before he got an idea.

“If you want me to stop, just say ‘battery’ , okay?” He whispered

“Okay…” Denki replied, confused but willing to go along with it.

Kiri started to gently scribble against the other ones ribs.

“Heheheh, kirhihihi, whahat?”

“Shh. I’m cheering you up.”

“Wahahahit, whahahat!”

“C’mere!” He intensified the pressure and moved up to the others underarms.

“HahahHeHA! KIRIHIHIHI!” The other squeaked, but the smile on his previously teary-face showed his true feelings.

“Yeah?”

“STaHaHAp!” Denki’s giggles were fluctuating in pitch and intensity, but it was clear they were happy giggles.

“Hmmm… no.” Kirishima said with a cheeky smile.

After a while of this, Kirishima decided to go in for the kill.

He moved his hands down to Kaminari’s knees.

“Waitwaitwaitwaitwait- Not TheHeHEHErEHE!”

“But it’s such a good spot! Tickle tickle tickle, Denks! “

“EEE! HHAHAHAHHAA THAHATS SOHOHO BAHAHAD!”

Kirishima kept it up anyways.

“KIRHIHIHI! NOHOHOHOHOHO!”

Kaminari was absolutely hysterical. He couldn’t stop laughing his lungs out!

But if he was being honest with himself, he was having a lot of fun! It felt great to laugh like this after having a bad day.

Eventually, Mirthful tears started to roll down Denki’s cheeks and He knew it was time to stop.

“OHKAHAHAY! BAHAHAHTERHHIHIY! “ he screamed out.

Kiri stopped. He was going anyways, noticing Denki was teaching his limit, even if he hadn’t used the safe word.

“Heh. Lohooks lihike ihim cryhihing agaihain.” Kaminari said through leftover giggles.

“Maybe, but this time it’s a completely different type of tears.”

It's so hard to explain to someone that "Death Note" deserves love because of the tragic stories, not really solved in the canon (Rem, Light, Matsuda, etc.), and the issues that the manga puts in front of you ( and there are no answers, because these questions can't in principle be no single answer, and in the end it all depends on your aspirations and views).

When people ask me what "Death Note" is about, I'm not talking about the plot, I'm talking about destroyed lives, madness, weakness and strength, mental problems, destroyed potentials and social issues.

I say that "Death Note" is about the end not always justifying the means, but it is certainly not enough to reveal its essence.

I just read that bullshit blog insulting Hikanon, and the truth is that it is unpleasant to see how a ball of misfits idiots who call everything homophobic, transphobic, etc etc dare to put these things.

At some time ago I was told the same thing because I never liked the gaalee (gaara seme lee uke and is fine) the truth is that it is very rare that all those blogs that agree put "gaalee" in the title (idk just mmmmm something to think). and I was called bitch, shit, transphobic, homophobic, that I divided the fandom, etc ... but those who draw Lee uke never went criticized. 

I also realized that this blog called @puregaalee was ridiculous and crap when their  put that stupid statement "don't call mama to gaara" fuck! Do not come to put your childhood traumas in this fandom.

Ah, I also realized that blog has my art in their pag, please do not want my drawings to be on a page full of crap. Because according to your ridiculous way of thinking I am a fervent homophobic and transphobic. pfff

I also realized that @puregaalee follows a Japanese artist who draws Lee as a woman, feminine, submissive, under stature and a male gaara (but is ok! she is a GAALEE artists as many of us are LEEGAA artist) 

ah but there they say nothing. Please, that is why Asian artists do not get into this western fandom, for brainless, hypocritical, envious people, like those type of people etc ... 

If any of you decide to stop following and appreciate the beautiful art of hikanon, you are doing her a favor. And pleasee please don’t bother her with this. And finally, I hope friends do not fall into the game like I did, and blogs that support hate speech like @puregaalee or @sagemoderocklee  (gaaleepropaganda) are the ones that should disappear and stop following.

When you go into the main tag of your fandom, that you’ve only been in a small (safe) section of for the first time in like a year.

Don't you ever get lonely when interacting with fanfiction and fandom? I do sometimes the few times I read from them. I am not even conservative, but everyone is such a leftist. It is almost impossible to read one good fic where the main characters aren't written to be raging black-and-white “everyone who doesn't think like me is evil” leftists. It is so blatant and annoying.

Nope. I don't go to fandom for personal connection though, so we might be different in that. I can usually find a good number of fic that doesn't have lots of leftist nonsense, but I think that has to do with my ships, which are usually "problematic" and tend to attract the more chill writers who have no time for the outrage mob. Not that they're right wing, but they don't feel the need to virtue signal and cram their fic with whatever performative nonsense is popular. It also helps that I like some fanon interpretations, so I'm not super upset when characters aren't strictly IC all the time.

I also just write what I want to see so

I will say that, even with my ships, it is annoying to go through the fic and see a big uptick in trans character tags. All my ships are M/M, and I don't want to read about these characters being, or getting together with, women. It's also annoying when a character that has canonically crossdressed in the past for reasons that have nothing to do with "gender identity" are suddenly adopted as trans by the fandom and that basically ruins at least half the fic that gets put out.

Thankfully I have a bunch of Harry Potter ships, and the troons tend to stay away from anything HP these days. So, thanks, Jo! XD

I don't know what ships you have or what fandoms you like, or if there's any overlap with my stuff, but if you want to talk fandom shit in my inbox, feel free. That goes for anybody.

It's like when people used to tag fic with just "triggers". Like, okay, that literally defeats the purpose of putting a warning. Same when some authors back in the ffnet days used to say stuff like "it's not dark, just a bit murky" and then it was a toss up whether or not that meant "some angst or violence" or "everyone gets raped constantly but no one dies". If you're not going to actually tag things you want to warn people about, or if you want to keep certain things as a surprise, just don't tag. Anyone going into an untagged fic should be expecting anything anyway, and if they don't then it's their fault.

the conflation of "dead dove" into a genre of fic when it's intended to mean "there are warnings here, take them seriously because you get exactly what's on the tin" is probably one of the worst things to happrn to fandom because you get people who tag "dead dove" and no other type of warning. like. cool. this is worthless

and you get people saying "anyone who writes dead dove is morally awful" or whatever. which is like. hello. this is a label you slap on the front of something to say what it is not a type of story
