It’s been a long, stressful week. So, I’m going to drunk-watch Twilight (this is part 1, I’ll do a part 2 later). So far, I have drunk watched and reviewed Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1, and Breaking Dawn Part 2. I will probably drunk-watch and review New Moon some time in the near future. My sober review of Twilight is that it is the best of all the movies (But New Moon though, I know, it’s a very close second for me). I love that it was meant to be like a cool, niche indie film and Catherine Hardwicke is the best. The baseball scene. The meadow scene. The bio scene. Iconic. Fransa elektronik müzik sahnesinin parlayan isimlerinden Kartell, 24 Kasım Cuma akşamı Babylon’da sahne alıyor. DJ ve prodüktör Kartell, French house, nu-disco ve elektronik üçgeninde cesur ve yenilikçi ��retimlere imza atıyor. Kendi plak şirketi Roche Musique etiketi ile yayınladığı Riviera’dan Sapphire ve Last Glow’a tüm EP’leri ile sınırlarını genişletiyor. Nu-disco ve R&B etkili Paris müziğini, Karma Kid ve Jabberwocky gibi sanatçılarla iş birliği içerisinde de sunuyor. Kartell aynı zamanda elektronik müzik dünyasının kilometre taşları Kaytranada, The Magician, Bondax gibi yapımcılarla da çalışıyor.

Babylon’da müzik Kartell’den sonra Fransız elektronik müzik ekolünün vizyoner isimlerinden Cézaire ile devam ediyor. Fransa’nın önemli plak şirketlerinden Roche Musique’in kurucusu ve yaratıcı direktörü Cézaire, Kaytranada, Stwo, Onra gibi gezgin müzisyenlerden ilham alıyor. Funk, house ve hip-hop sınırlarındaki imajı ile çarpıcı üretimlere imza atan DJ, 80’lerin ve 90’ların groove ritimlerine getirdiği güçlü yorumla adından söz ettiriyor. Cézaire en son “Seize the day” EP’sini çıkardı.

Kartell ve Cézaire’den önce ise DJ ve yapımcı Hemi, house, trance, dubstep ritimleriyle Babylon’da müzikseverlerle buluşuyor.

  Erik Truffaz Bir Kez Daha Babylon’da

Avrupa caz sahnesinin önde gelen isimlerinden Erik Truffaz, 25 Kasım Cumartesi XXF Very Very French Festival kapsamında bir kez daha Babylon sahnesinde! Günümüzün özgün müzisyenlerinden Fransız trompetçi Erik Truffaz, cazı ham haliyle değil, günümüzün modern türleri arasından seçtiği seslerle harmanlıyor. Sanatçı, İlhan Erşahin, Syl Johnson, Nya, Mounir Troudi, Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Philippe Garcia gibi dünyanın dört bir köşesinde farklı akımları temsil eden müzisyenlerle ürettiği albümler ve sergilediği performanslarla kendini caz dünyasında ayrı bir karakter olarak konumlandırıyor. Bugüne kadar kendi adıyla yayınladığı sayısız albümü Blue Note gibi önemli plak firmalarınca basılırken, sanatçının Fransa’nın prestijli caz ödüllerinden “Prix Special”ı da bulunuyor.

Fransız caz sahnesinin önemli sanatçılarından Vincent Peirani, Renault sponsorluğunda 30 Kasım Perşembe akşamı XXF Very Very French Festival kapsamında Babylon’da. Kariyerinin başında sayısız uluslararası ödül ve yarışma kazanan klarnet ve akordeon virtüözü, vokal ve besteci Vincent Peirani, Bayreuth, Salzburg, Viyana, Roma ve Stockholm’de prestijli festivallerde sahne aldı. Bill Evans ve Fransız caz-rock grubu Sixun’un etkisiyle caz sahnesine atılan müzisyen, Michel Portal, Daniel Humair, Renaud Garcia Fons Quintett, Sylvain Luc, Louis Sclavis ve Vincent Courtois gibi isimlerle performans sergiledi. Django Reinhardt tarafından 2013’te Yılın En İyi Müzisyeni ödülüne layık görülen Peirani, 2014’te Les Victoires du Jazz’da Yılın Müzisyeni ödülün�� aldı. Fransız meslektaşı soprano saksafoncu Emile Parisien ile Belle Époque isimli albümünü yayımlayan Peirani, dünya klasiklerinden modern caza ve chanson’a uzanan tüm müzik deneyimini akordeonun çeşitli ses olanakları ile Babylon sahnesinde bir araya getirecek.

Fransa’da yükselen G-House (Gangsta House) akımının öncü figürlerinden Amine Edge & Dance, 2 Aralık Cumartesi akşamı, XXF Very Very French Festival kapsamında Babylon’da. Tohumları Güney Fransa’da atılan Amine Edge & Dance, house, soul ve 80’ler hip-hop ekseninde dinleyicileriyle buluşuyor. Bağımsız plak şirketi Desolat etiketiyle yayımlanan ve Loco Dice’nin desteğini alan “FCK UR OPINION” EP’leri ile teknoya da uzanan ikili, bugüne kadar duyulmamış karanlık ritimleri de sahneden yaymayı başarıyor. Ekip, Solomun, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier gibi isimlerden övgüler topluyor.

  Aquaserge ve Juniore İlk Kez Babylon’da

Modern psychedelic müziğin Fransız temsilcileri Aquaserge ve Juniore, 6 Aralık Çarşamba akşamı XXF Very Very French Festival kapsamında Babylon’da art arda sahne alıyor. Tame Impala, Stereolab, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Acid Mothers Temple elemanlarından oluşan Aquaserge Türkiye’de ilk kez Babylon’a konuk oluyor. Afrobeat’ten, tango, funk, Karayip ritimleri ve krautrock’a uzanan geniş bir repertuvar sunan ekip, yeni albümü “Laisse ça être”in ardından Liverpool Psych Fest, R.I.O. Festival, Faust’s Klangbad gibi önemli sahnelerinden sonra Babylon’da!

Anna Jean öncülüğünde kurulan Fransız indie pop dörtlüsü Juniore, müziğinde retro Fransız pop unsurlarını surf gitar tınılarıyla birleştiriyor. Vokal stiliyle Françoise Hardy’ye saygı duruşunda bulunan Juniore ilk EP’leri “Marabout”un artından kendi isimlerini taşıyan ilk albümlerini yayınladı. Samee Tee Tra  (The Marked Husband)

This is a very very twisted drama, I mean you're gonna see most of the things we see in Western Dramas

This is my 4th lakorn so far so good, as I understand Thai people are a little bit less conservative comparing to Koreans & Chinese.   (We see a lot of actors playing, gays and trans genders, dressing is a little bit more sexy, they have bed scenes ( not intimacy) but lying in the same bed with babydolls, or short nities, etc etc, some K-C dramas are funny on that part eg girls fall pregnant after a kiss, I have seen a Chinese Movie she fall pregnant after sharing a passionate kiss with a guy etc etc)  It's still a boo boo  to make a kid out of wedlock, but it's understandable and I also support that ideology.as a child needs both father and a mother  

We see a woman Karat who had 3 unsuccessful marriages both cheated on her and died.  Her late 3rd husband not only had an affair and impregnate her childhood friend but he had cheated on her with several other women as well. 

People blames her for unsuccessful marriages and the more people blames her for her unsuccessful marriages the more insecure she becomes. 

Karat learns that her husband impregnated her best friend after her husband's funeral. When she learnt that her husband died she rushes to hospital but she had a traffic accident, she stops a car that happens to be Pisut's car, after Pisut took her to hospital she says I don't like owing to ppl, she gives him her wedding ring.

  During the funeral Karat goes into a very bad mental-psychological state, she tries to kill herself and rescued by Pisut,  She already previously saw Pisut on that day while she was on an event, and her best friend was with her, (Sai Nampeung) Nampeung sees Pisut and gives him a look and that moment is very important because that single scene is giving a lot of hints of about the upcoming episodes the relationship between  Karat, Pisut and herself.. This already made 3 in a day.... 

Later on their path Karat & Pisut crosses a couple of more times and Pisut saves Karat a couple of more times :) this only happens in dramas both bumping into the same guy a couple of times in a day and both being saved by the same guy a couple of more times. 

Karat is a rich, spoiled woman and she has got insecurities because of her previous experiences.  However Nampeung is quite the opposite she was always jealous of her friend who was always good to her, she's jealous of her friends wealth & lifestyle and at the end she snatches her husband and falls pregnant, after the guy's death, she finds the guy's mother and break the pregnancy news, but the mother says you're own your own, he already have a legal wife who's here sitting, and my son never wanted to have kids.. So she had a slap from that side.. 

I believe Pisute fell in love with Karat when he saved her from the accident 2nd time..   

She's still not over anything this time she tries to steal Pisut from Karat and play all the dirty tricks in the book, but Pisut is in love with his wife, he mentions a couple of times that he sees her as a colleague nothing more than this could happen in between them. 

Karat  might have insecurities but she's a strong woman, she's honest, she has a child like personality when showing love, she's jealous of her husband, ( any woman would, especially the one's that have bad experience would be more, as they'd be scared what if the history repeats itself)

Actually Karat has got 2 more sisters, one of them is a doctor, both sisters are beautiful.  Their mother always accuses their dad of having an affair with Pisut's mother. I believe that's why Karat is like that, her mother's influence. ( her temperance is defo from the mother)

Nampeung doesn't only try to pursue Pisut, she also have an affair with Siwa a rich, careless chaebol, he is the fiance of the doctor sister.  Nampeung does her best to fool Karat that her husband is having an affair with her..    Nampeung spends all her time chasing for men, instead of looking after her child

The maid is one of the characters I love in this drama, After Karat got married she moved into Pisut & Karat's house, she is more than a maid, she does what a best friend does for Karat.  Nampeung manages to create big marital problem between Karat & Pisut.  Nampeung as being the mistress of Siwa she leaves her lipstick on Siwa's car so that doctor fiance would find and breaks up from him. 

But let me tell you this Siwa is not like Pisut, he can easily tell fck off to Nampeung, after the lipstick  ( incase if you are wondering that Lipstick is Yves Saint Laurent 'Rouge Volupté Pink in Paris that's one of the best selling shade) incident the first person he went to see was her.  He told don't mess with her if you don't want your money fountain to stop

the thing is Nampeung have hopes of snatching a rich handsome husband whether he's single or married.  Siwa writes her a cheque telling we won't be seeing each other for a while ( moral story easy comes easy goes)

Karat genuinely loves her husband and so does Pisut Siwa proposes to doc sister with his deceased mothers wedding ring..  ( I used to find that sort of scenes romantic when I was much younger but at this age I found it too cheesy )

Nampeung is seriously gone mental after the death of the ex-husband of Karat.  She needs to be shut into an institution. She is basically a mistress and not giving up on this, as for Siwa a person with a set habit won't change it...  His father had many women so he takes his dad as an example Other than Karat's ma it's always Pisut's ma trying to help them, unlike the other dramas she's not the evil one here..

The thing is Pisut is an idiot guy, how can he be so blind to the games of a simple town bike.   At the end Nampeung fell pregnant from Siwa and got rejected by him, this is the 2nd guy who rejects her, she is not a loveable person so I don't feel sorry about her but she goes and tells Pasat that she's pregnant from her husband and as a proof she shows her his jacket..   

If I were Pasat I'd either kill that woman or kill my husband bec that's too much any woman would go crazy, she caused another marital problems in between Pisut and Karat, and they got divorced, Nampeung goes to Siwa's houses announces herself as his new wife, poor mother is shocked and disgusted.  ofcourse a woman like her won't stop just pretending that she's pregnant from Pisut

During this time Pisut really missed Pasat, and she moved into Pisut's home, Pisut and his mother left the palace, she's living on her own and pretending to be pregnant from Pasat, and her baby is looked after by another woman, she calls her aunt.  When that lady finds her and tells her that your baby needs you, he's hungry he needs milk, she says I'm pregnant I'm trying to find a dad for my baby, take care it of yourself. 

She caused so many problems both for herself, people who cared for her, Pisut, Pasat and her family, anyone related close to her got hit by Nampeung. On the sister's wedding Pisut's mother tells Pasat the truth that Pisut lied to her to protect her, Nampeung is not pregnant from Pisut.

Nam goes to Obstetrician to check if the baby is safe, she was scared of having ectopic pregnancy , she learns that the baby is safe, she calls Siwa, but no answer, her phone was at her sister's hand, Pasat calls the number and Nam thinking that it's Siwa at the end of the line reveals everything, she calls herself as her wife and she accuses him that he wanted to make a baby and now not taking care of his wife and baby.  Pasat gets angry and asks an answer from Siwa, Siwa begs him not to tell it to the sister but too late, she already heard everything

Siwa begs for mercy not to tell it to sister but it's too late, sister already heard everything she says I won't marry you.. She runs off from her own wedding.    One mistake just for fun, caused him to lose the woman he loves, so the history repeated itself, he made the same mistake his father did, being unfaithful. 

Pasat goes to Pisut's home Nam aggressively asks what she's doing in her husband's house, another proof that she's seriously mental!! Pisut asks for an answer why did she do those things to her little sister as her problem was only with Pasat not with her siblings. 

Finally swords been pulled out, Pandora's box is open, we see that Nam always been jealous of Pasat, poor Pasat she only saw her a best friend but she's been stabbed by her, not only her but also her sister, her husband, her sister's fiance. 

The pool scene I don't know how they can be so stupid enough to think that we'll think she's gonna get drown in the water that's coming up to her ankles.  Thank god that Pisut came at the last minute as she fell and hit her head to the pool, and faints

Not only Pisut comes but Siwa comes as well..  Tell her that she ruined his life.  ( she didn't do it only by herself , you are the one who also slept with her Siwa)

Meanwhile Gun is at the hospital ( Pasat) fighting for life,  Nam fell on the broken mirror,  she's been hospitalised and had a miscarriage , as she fell on to mirror her face been cut.

Siwa says I'll handle her hospital bills. 

Even Though not everything is Siwa's fault, he genuinely apologized from the aunt. 

Now time to tell his wrong doings to his fiance and asking for mercy,  for a start over. 

He might have genuinely loved her but while being engaged he shouldn't have other women in his life..   Sister doesn't forgive him for now, but we have one more episode left while I'm typing see what's gonna happen in the last episode. 

Siwa says sorry to Pasat for causing her break up from Pisut

Now Pasat is in her grandad's farm, she met Pisut by chance and he was with another woman, she got jealous again haha this comes from the mother..

Umm for now I have a feeling like Pisut is trying to make her jealous.. Jealousy Incarnate lol

well if Pisut makes Pasat jealous, she'll play the same trick on him,  She introduced a younger guy as her bf to Pisut and his gf (fake gf)

Finally Finally they reconcile and Pisut asks Pasat to marry him : )

Not only our double P's are remarrying, ma & dad also remarrying lol :D that was smth I was not expecting.  I still have a little bit hope for the sister but I don't think we'll see their reconcile.  

If you remember way back in the earlier episodes the doc sis called Pisut knight in shining armour (knight on a white charger) ah the final scene is :D 

 We can clearly say that Karma finds Nam at the end..  She reaps what she sow. 

There's another moral story in this drama, it tells us that you can't break a family and built your own family on top of it. 

I totally loved the chemistry between the two leads.  Not sure if they have done another one together but if not they need to do one soon :p

Jewel: hesitating, and taking MC into consideration at all times. Having MC to be a part of her life even when they are not present, i.e. walking back home, stopping by a bakery and wondering which pastry MC would like best.

Reed: becoming impatient. Reed's not a rash person... unless feelings get involved, then all his composure goes out of the window. Worst part is that he realizes it, he just can't help it.

Laurent: daydreaming. He's a man of a tight schedule, yall. Then he falls in love and spends 15 minutes longer in the shower just thinking about MC's smile. How do you explain that at work? Sorry I'm late, I was lovesick.

Nino: opening up, and wanting too. Nino's not a touchy-feely person, but damn, something about MC makes her want to be! Talking about emotions? Hell na- well, maybe if it's MC??

Flavio: letting himself be vulnerable. Knowing that he can stumble, he can fall, and that at the bottom of the barrel he can count on MC to pull him back to his feet. It's not as much embarrassing as it is dangerous (for him), and definitely not something he's done before.

Alan: trusting explicitly. Alan knows that he's someone who's easy to take advantage of, but he trusts that MC won't fck him over. Does it scare him? Of course, it does. But he's learned his lesson about keeping things to himself, and he's willing to give it a try.
