I made a booklet on what Medalist is and why people should read it to share at CF18 yesterday!! I didn't print that many and they were all gone so i hope i'm able to Convert some people into reading Peak.

He’s not the hero they expected. He’s definitely not the hero they wanted. But Varric Tethras, Herald of Andraste, might just be the hero they’re all stuck with.

Oh well. At least it’ll make for a good story.

no, because sometimes it just randomly hits me that whenever i was first making this account, that i set the background originally as different SPIDERS ON DISPLAY... even though i could feel myself getting the heebie jeebies from it even before i edited it + that's when i decided to change it to the current one 😭 like why i ever thought it was a good idea to put displayed real spiders as the background will forever elude me jsjs LOL

Ultimate goal for 2024 - finish script writing and, if we're lucky, begin actual game developing starting Chapter 1.

I think I managed to get a lot of stuff done this year. Almost half the script (in its first draft), designs for most of the characters, some of the music themes, general art direction and a whole demo game with animations and stuff. Not to mention all the additional artwork I made for own fun. Hopefully, I can get done just as much stuff next year, if not more!

I don't have a huge ass gift as a thank-you for sticking around, but I'm setting up new blog theme that should fit the above mentioned art direction more. Hope you'll like it!

Trucy's voice sounds so innocent and earnest, but if you look closely, there's strong hint of mischief hidden behind her smile as she shows Phoenix the letter she's holding in her hand. To be precise, it's a love letter, signed anonymously, one that Trucy found mysteriously addressed to her only this morning.

And what would be a better idea than showing Phoenix? Honestly, Trucy doesn't know how he might react at all, but she's sure it'll be well worth seeing his reaction. She is his darling daughter, after all. Though maybe there's a part of her... that's genuinely curious as to his thoughts on it all, too.

"To be honest, I'm not very impressed... but don't you think the effort they put in is worth responding to? I wonder who the writer might be?"

Leondas did not like to interfere with Kitt's affairs under normal circumstances. A simple reasoning of respect. He expected the same from her when he did his own hunting. But he could not help but become involved this night.

Whilst hauling in her profit home for the night, she'd been stopped by a group of thugs. Deep in the woods, they figured no one would come to her aid if she caused a stir. They'd hoped to get an easy score: by simply swiping it from someone else who'd already done the work.

The leader threateningly pointed a knife at her, the other bandits readying their weapons behind him. He barked an order, demanding that she hand over her valuables. While Kitt was not yet cornered nor grabbed, it would take only a second for either party to close the distance between them.

A shadow would loom in the bushes closely surrounding them. Leaves rustled, momentarily taking the attention of Kitt's attackers. Leondas would slink into view, crawling on all fours as he positioned himself between his felinoid friend and her opponents. The majority of the group faltered upon seeing the strange creature crawl into view. Fear was evident in the leader's eyes, but he brandished his weapon all the same.

Leondas did not speak. Instead, a guttural growl spilled forth, an animalistic warning. Lips peeled back to reveal teeth bared in a snarl. The fae's pupils were shrunken to near invisibility. Claws dug into the earth, readied to be raked across any who dared to come any nearer.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony. Explore the various planets and locations of Halcyon, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and delightful distilleries of Eridanos. As you encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. (Includes all dlc.)

(Geeky note: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This game isn't for everyone but considering that this is free, you should definitely grab it if you're interested. It's made by the people who did Fallout New Vegas (which was not Bethesda) and it's got a quirky sense of humor. While overall I think it's a great game, I think it's real strength is in the character-work for the npcs.)
