"Sir," said the tiny fancy boy at the prize counter, "are you using wizardly magicks to make the funky fresh carpet pattern into penises?"

The air was rich with the smell of sweat and obtrusively smelling cleaning products. Taako had been on shift for exactly four hours so far and it was not getting any better. It wasn't getting any worse, either, but who could say what would come next? The lights were just as flashy and headache-y as usual. Taako had snuck to the sound booth (read: the computer that controlled all the music that had a neon label that said SOUND BOOTH) and lowered the music to a reasonable level, but some godly power had turned it right back up.

Honestly, who could blame him for having a little fun? The worst day at a children's arcade was better than the best day at a court-ordered anger management class. Or however that saying went. He usually wouldn't revert to messing with the decor until about five hours into his shift, but he was feeling a little spicy today.

Plus, it's not like anyone could prove it was him.

"Nah," Taako said, leaning against the counter. "It's always been like that."

"It— it hasn't," the fancy boy says. He's got a light-up wand that he got from Taako's counter earlier. He'd been in here for an hour or so already, methodically going around the building and figuring out how to get the most tickets. He'd already come up to Taako four times to ask about game mechanics. "It was triangles and circles before."

"Mmmmh, nope," Taako said. "It's always been dicks."

The fancy boy frowned, looking at the carpet again. He took a few steps back towards the gaming area and then stopped.

"No, sir, it stops here," he said. "It's— it's very clearly not penises from this point onward— oh, well, now this is just rude, sir."

The floor magicked back to normal, except for about a two-foot circle around the fancy boy. When he took a step, the far superior, expertly crafted pattern followed him like a shadow. He scurried back up to the prize counter, a scrutinizing look on his face. He then glanced over his shoulder, as if someone might be watching their interaction. Honestly, Taako figured that if someone was spying and able to hear over the suddenly deep chorus of Fireflies by Fantasy Owl City, they deserved to hear every word.

But the fancy boy seemed to think the coast was clear. He leaned over the counter and said, in a low voice,

"Is magic not banned in here?"

"Read the sign, kid," Taako said, pointing the the sign above his head that read "NO MAGICKS ALLOWED IN THE ADVENTURE ZONE©." In smaller text, below it, it read, "for full Adventure Zone© magic related rules and services, please see one of our friendly PARTY MEMBERS for details."

"Yeah, but you just did magic," the fancy boy said. "So there's no like, barrier or runes to stop magic use inside the building."

Taako liked the turn this was taking. He raised his eyebrows at the fancy boy.

"You could say," he said. "And why, pray tell, are you asking?"

"Well," the fancy boy said. "If I pay the games the normal, non-magical way, it'll take me approximately nine hours to get enough tickets for the detective kit you have on the wall."

The fancy boy pointed at the wall of prizes. Near the very top, above the long plush snakes and the bin of Hot Wheels, a shiny play-pretend detectives kit was sitting, priced at 14,000 tickets, which was truly absurd.

"Only, I don't have nine hours, sir," the fancy boy said. "And frankly, I don't have the pocket money for five hours. So if, maybe, we could turn a blind eye to the rule— which seems very important and I respect that— then I could be out of here in about, uhm! Thirty minutes, tops. And then you don't have to deal with me and the birthday party that's about to start."

Both of them looked at the mom trying to wrangle her excited child through the doorway. The child had a pin on that said "BIRTHDAY GIRL". She looked like a feral cat.

"That's a tempting offer, little man," Taako said. He glanced around. No one was gonna come up to the prize counter any time soon. These kids were too sugar-powered to care about anything more than beating each other in stupid arcade games for babies. "You get me one of those fucked up bears—" Taako pointed at the wall behind him once more. Slightly below the detective kit was a poor attempt at a teddy bear, which looked more like a failed demon exorcism. "And we've got a deal."

"Deal," the fancy boy said, holding out his hand. "It's nice doing business with you Mr…" he squinted at Taako's name tag. "Tay-co?"

"You never pronounce my name like that again and we're good to go, kid."

oml sorry it took this long 😭 exams are finally over thankfully so I'm free at last! Time to info dump >:]

So, Felix aka Taz is a silly goose; basically a mini, blond Wolverine if he's extra feral with a personality similar to DP. An anarchist who uses he/they pronouns, has no label when it comes to sexuality, and is very attached to his parents. He's a feral lil' shit who can charm his way into your heart before your know it and you can't help but love him for that.

He's currently between the ages 15 and 16 in my head (to make things fun) with mutant powers inherited mostly from Logan, and the youngest poolverine kid. Like Gabby, he has one claw per hand and they protrude from their wrists instead of knuckles! Oh, and emphasis on the fact that they have hella sharp fangs too. He can and will bite.

They love dancing, cooking, and traveling the most. And wouldn't you know it, they somehow found a part-time job at the TVA as a bounty hunter because of course they did. Do their parents know? HAHA no. This kid's running around chasing targets throughout the multiverse without adult supervision, thank Marvel Jesus for the healing factor.

If they're not out and about, Taz loves to hang out with his friends Jesse Spector (MK fankid) and Ainsley Agner (spidersona), read some books, watch something online, or get some quality time of family bonding! He's big on cuddles, hugs, and head pats—legit—but only if they like you or you interest them. Stranger danger, no touchie!

Before you ask. Yes. He purrs.

Taz is also a major fashionista with a knack for anything glam and make-up. One day you'll see him wearing skater boy and baggy streetwear, and the next he'll be rocking dresses and crop tops. Their sense of style changes just as quickly as their emotions. One thing he's consistent at is being inconsistent. Like a Russian roulette, you'll never know what you're gonna get.

I imagine him as being a mix of Junko (from Danganronpa), Dazai (from Bungo Stray Dogs), Yuuji (from JJK) and Giorno (from JJBA). All their best and worst aspects molded into one being.

Aaand... that's it for now!

Too Hot to Handle 3: Episodes 1-3 Thoughts

We're back, bitches.

And as always, I have thoughts.

First off, the customization. It was fine. I like the hair options and that there are additional prosthetics/CGMs, but the rest of it felt like the same thing all over again and it took me a good 10 minutes to come up with someone I was relatively happy with but not thrilled with. Also the smiles are still creepy but at least we get to preview them this time

I love being a bombshell as it adds something fresh and means I didn't have to sit through the opening where everyone comes in because that takes soooo long sometimes (maybe next time we're an OG we can be one of the last to arrive?)

FREE PASS!!! Buuut all we got was some kisses and making out? Like come on. They should've either said we get a free kiss on the date or at least let us be extra naughty

I also like that we got to customize the LI we took out on the date and the customizations were permanent instead of limited to during the date

I picked Taz. I gave him a beard and manbun, and now he looks like Marshall 🤣 I have a type, okay?

I typically like to whore around during my first playthrough but after picking Jirayu for the tour and Mattias for something else (clearly not memorable since I don't remember what it was), I just keep gravitating back to Taz. Him being stuck-up about the food on the date kinda sucked but then he said he liked that I wasn't just saying stuff based on what he likes and he relaxed and became a lot more fun and then we made out and I shared a bed with him and yeaaahhh I like him. So I've been picking him every option ever since

But that doesn't mean I'm not already dying to see who comes in as bombshells

As for the other LIs, the biggest disappointment to me is probably that... WHERE ARE THEY?!?! If you don't pick them for scenes, they're almost non-existent. I've seen Bear more than I've seen Carmen or Beatriz. I'd love for them to be more integrated into the storyline, which I think S2 did a great job of. That said, once we lock in to our LIs I'm sure we'll see more, but how am I supposed to get to know these people if I never see them and don't want to choose them over Taz?

That brings us to the non-romanceable (yet) characters. We know from the achievements that there are 3 achievements for a BFF-to-lovers route, so I guess 3 of them will be possible endgames (not sure if this also includes any future bombshells or if it's just from the 4 OGs). Anyway, so far... I'm not liking them. Victoria's a fugly bitch (spoiler: good riddance to her), Sean is cartoonishly annoying (he gives me Felix vibes but I also wonder if they're trying to make him like Hamish), and I'm just not vibing with Julian or Giselle as friends, let alone future love interests. And the problem with that is that they're the ones constantly being pushed in my face instead of the other LIs, which is just making me more annoyed with them. Again, I think S2 did really well with this, so hopefully it changes. But otherwise, ugh.

Back to Taz - I love that we have such amazing chemistry and he's willing to break rules with me, and it's all just purely physical at this point. Like yeah, we've talked a bit about ourselves too and expressed an interest in getting to know each other, but I don't feel like either of us are emotionally invested yet and I love that - because this is THTH, not Love Island. We're not here for love, we're here for sex. I don't wanna feel after a day that my LI is already half in love with me. There's plenty of time for that

Is it just me, or have there been a lot of potential rule breaks already? I've only been in there a couple days and I've already spent so much money - lots of heavy petting and manual gratification with Taz so far, plus kissing

I'm so getting kicked out 🤣

I'm intrigued to see more of Bad Lana and how that plays out - I've only seen the first episode of the new season of the show, so it'll be interesting to see how they do it in the game

another HUGE plus: less time in the beach hut!! They're not doing a full chapter of beach hut confessionals anymore, just tacking on a bit to the start of one of the chapters, and I LOVE that change. it also means we get more actual game time!

There's a threesome in the achievements. I'm ready.

Anyway, overall I think I preferred the start of S2 (I remember being pretty blown away by the potential and the branching), but this is still a good start and I'm excited for the season. I'm ready for bombshells, and I'm definitely gonna play a 2nd profile to see what Jirayu is all about because I'm intrigued by him. And I wanna be messy on one route and more loyal on another, because I love seeing all the branching when you play both ways!

One Piece star was laughed at and that was his motivation: he trained like a man possessed for 2 years, now he is on the verge of the ultimate triumph.

When One Piece actor Taz Skylar started training for the Netflix series, fans laughed at him. 2 years later he has achieved what only a few achieve so quickly.

Nobody can yet predict whether Netflix's One Piece series will be good. But it is already clear how passionately many of the stars prepared for their roles. The most extreme example is Taz Skylar. The actor embodies the ship's cook Sanji, who is an absolute martial arts master in the anime One Piece. Skylar wanted to emulate him. And was mocked.

One Piece star had martial arts instructors flown in because Netflix training was too short.

As a report from Square Mile reveals, Skylar had a penchant for extreme sports before joining One Piece, but had no martial arts experience. His first published training attempts were met with derision from fans. The actor let this spur him on: “Just wait and see,” he said, commenting on his state of mind at the time. "Give me a minute."

Full of enthusiasm, Skylar then wanted to train so ultra-hard that even Netflix wouldn't join in. The streaming service's coaches wanted to keep the exercises shorter. "No one believed I needed eight to 10 hours of training a day, but I knew it. I flew in a stuntman named Donovan Louie to help me."

After 2 years, the Netflix actor is close to fulfilling a martial arts dream.

According to the report, the actor did nothing but practice martial arts for hours every day for several months. He also went through regular Taekwondo training and after two years is about to get his first black belt, which is very unusual. He did all of his own stunts.

If the dedication of actors like Taz Skylar is an indication of the quality of Netflix's implementation, fans are in for one of the best series of the summer with One Piece. After many average anime adaptations, they more than deserve it.

One Piece revolves around the adventures of a band of pirates around the lively Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), who wants to become king of all privateers. Together they set out to recover a legendary treasure.
