Today is May 12, 2025 . Our shift is 5:30 am to 10:00am . Last week my duty is 1k . Under Vivian the Angel helping , I got the exact ideas how to assist the passengers to print their checked-luggage tag and their boarding ticket through KOS . To help passengers to stick the checked luggage tag on their luggage properly. Early waking up is really challenging for us . We meet around 4:15 am. Then I drove to the airport for the on time purpose . We are always earlier . Today my shift 1Q. The main task is arrange the passenger to the right way to the business, diamond or silver passengers . Today more talking compare the first shift . Many other airlines passenger to seek the different problems. I am more confident with this talking style now . Though I felt the feet pain with high heels today , I still really enjoy the floating life to meet different people and helping them make me happy !

whoops i
Sep. 5th, 2023; 04h14
forgot to make a beginning of the school year post. so. here it is.
GRAD SCHOOL HAS STARTED !!!! 🥳
i've had a week so far and i love it so much:)) some of the classes are eh but overall it's so good and people are so kind:) here are my fall semester classes:
Cross Cultural Psychology
Intro to Clinical Practice
Cognitive Assessment
Intro to Psychological Research
History and Systems
and in addition to that, i'm doing a field placement! i'm going to keep it vague/anonymous for privacy, but it's been really lovely to get back to interacting with clients again <3
unsure how i'll be using this tumblr in grad school/over the next few months. it obviously has moved away from being a studyblr as covid has lessened its impact on governmental guidelines/i've been able to go out and interact with people more. the blog might just reflect the start of grad school in that the number of psychology fact posts will probably increase, as i'm learning a ton of cool new things:)
but as always, if there's something you're curious about/want to know about my experience, do feel free to ask:) <3 hope the beginning of the school year is going well for all of you!! <3

DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game
Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter.
Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.
The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge.
And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).
And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game.
Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.
(The most intense card game of the Justice league’s life).
After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely).
Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.
#DPxDC#Kizzer55555 ideas#Danny makes a card game to save the world.#Technically he worded the ritual so that they had to ‘beat’ him as those are the most powerful barriers and most reliable.#keys can just get lost or stolen (like the one to Pariah’s Coffin)#A riddle would be useless once someone figured out the answer. Like how no one takes the sphynx seriously anymore.#(Sorry Tuck. But it’s true).#And there is NO WAY Danny is just leaving a hole open for anyone to pass through. No thank you!#So…beating him. But it’s not like Danny wanted to fight so…he edited the ritual a TINY bit. Card games are good. Much less painful too.#Danny Tucker and Sam made the most complicated card game they could imagine.#It’s based on their strategies for fighting ghosts. Capturing them in thermoses. And MUCH based on a on field battle strategy.#It often requires spontaneous thinking on the spot. So Danny? In his ELEMNT. It doubles as practice for his actual ghost battles too.#They had SO much fun making this.#Sam added an entire series of plant cards that act as traps and healing ointments and duds that just take up the field.#Tucker added legitimate hyroglyphics combined with Latin as well as English and ghost speak.#Yes. You actually have to speak that language to play. With proper pronunciation. (Amity Parker’s think the three are talking gibberish.)#I headcanon Sam and Tucker are fluent in Ghost.#Constantine WILL figure this game out SO HELP HIM!#Some of the cards also have combinations related to constellations either in name or placement on the board.#By the way the board is based on a Hexagonal summoning circle with Rhunes along the edges#And the placement of the cards on the board and on what rhune MATTERS.#Also the cards move disintegrate and have certain abilities. Think of Harry Potter Wizard Chess.#But they are normal when Danny plays at school. This is just for ✨effect✨ Against invaders.#Danny faces multiple opponents. He also halts alien invasions.#While Danny COULD stop crime on earth he’s not sure how to fight a normal human and hold back so he sticks to ghosts.#The Justice league are going crazy trying to figure out who this entity is and after deep research are convinced this is some sort of#Ancient being who has protected earth for millenia. They have paintings on ruins and everything.#Danny is not aware they think this.#Raven starts praying to Danny as if he is a god and wrangles the other Teen Titans into doing so as well. Danny is still unaware of this.#Danny is not a King or an ancient. Just a very VERY strong ghost.

Thank you for all your help. May I ask you did it possible to make elves or gnomes with eyes on sides of their faces(like prey animal) that diesn't look dumb ,creepy ,uncanny or weird and also they still have full range of expression and still makes them relatable? Also If I Keep my elves as noctural did they should have batlike ears? And did they skin should be grey?
okay so I find the "front of face vs side of face" eyes thing to be incredibly misleading, because that's not really how it works.
let's look at some actual animals and how their eyes are set and question this assumption a bit, because it's just a very widespread "common knowledge" myth.
Tumblr media
(image description: several simple outline sketches of different animals, all facing to the side. there's a wolf, a goat, an eagle, a robin, a cougar, and a monkey. The goat's visible eyes has the same triangular shape indicating a forward-view as the cougar and wolf, though it sits a little further back on the head. The two birds both have fully round side eyes. the monkey is the only one who could objectively be described as having eyes at the "front" of the face. end description.)
and just some skulls for emphasis
Tumblr media
(image description: three skull sketches, with side and front views of each. There is a chimp skull, a wolf skull, and a horse skull. The horse and wolf both have eye sockets more on the "side" of the skull, though the space between them is much wider on the horse skull than the wolf skull. The chimp's eye sockets are fully on the front of the skull. end description.)
The actual thing you're askng about is not front of face vs side of face, but a question of field of view. what field of view do you want your elves and gnomes to have? narrow or wide? more binocular or less binocular?
here are some simple field of view charts to explain what I mean:
Tumblr media
(image description: color coded circle charts showing the fields of view for a human, dog, cat, and horse. the human and cat have the widest binocular field with more narrow peripheral view and a wide blind space behind the head. the dog has a fairly wide peripheral with a narrower binocular view and a large blind space behind the head. the horse has the widest peripheral view with only a narrow blind space directly behind the head, and its binocular view is only a little narrower than the dog's. end description.)
source link for the charts: https://pethealthharbour.com/eyes/how-and-what-animals-see-an-overview/
forward facing eyes give the best binocular field of view, but they're not necessarily "on the front" of the face, really. they ca be placed more on the side but still positioned in a way that makes them face forward. animals that really need binocular view priority certainly can have their eye sockets more clearly on the front, and I think this is extra obvious when looking at owl and primate skulls, where they eye sockets are so clearly on the front.
also, the flatter the face, the more the eyes just end up on the front, while a longer face tends to make the eyes look like they're on the side.
The reason predators tend to have better binocular view while prey animals tend to have better peripheral view is because prey animals usually need to be more aware of their surroundings to avoid danger, while predators usually need to be able to aim their attacks. But animals don't really need to fit into a strict predator or prey role to need different fields of view. Primates tend to be omnivores, and smaller monkeys are frequently preyed upon by predators, but they have extremely forward-facing eyes with a big binocular field of view, comparable to the field of view you find on felines, which are pretty strictly predator animals. and canines, also a predator group, have a narrower binocular field with wider peripheral in comparison to felines.
so figure out what the field of view needs to be for your elves and gnomes, figure out what shape you want their skulls to be, and then do some studies of real animals to get more familiar with how their eyes are positioned and shaped from multiple angles.
Do they need a wider peripheral to watch for danger? Do they need better binocular view to navigate a complicated terrain, like all the tree branches arboreal monkeys have to navigate? Do they have more of a human-like rounded skull with a flat face, which would sort of necessitate having the eyes at the front, or do they have a longer and narrower skull that allows the eyes to sit on the side?

iditarod has me biting my nails this year:
-unusual race route (only musher in the field to take this route before is Mitch Seavey in 2003)
-Paige Drobny of Squid Acres Kennels has been holding a tight first or second place position within the race for awhile and has already completed both her mandatory rests. Paige's closest top placement so far is 5th place. If she were to hold on to her lead and win it would be the first time a winner has been a woman since 1990 Susan Butcher
-Quince Mountain racing in his first Iditarod, currently in last. Crossing my fingers he stays in the race.
-six mushers have scratched already.

A little bit about CKC pointing field trials (puppy stakes) in general for those who are interested in how they run.
CKC has its hunting dog events broken out pretty specifically. CKC is restrictive in which breeds can run which events (e.g., only CKC registered approved pointing breeds can run pointing tests, other breeds are excluded even if they technically could complete the exercises. Rory can only run pointing events, she couldn't do a retriever test or a spaniel test).
We also have a distinction in trials vs tests, as most other venues do.
Trials - you are competing against other people and being judged against a standard. You run in pairs. Top 4 dogs get placements, once you get enough points you get a field championship.
Tests - you are running alone and being judged against a standard for a qualifying/non-qualifying runs. 3 qualifying runs gets you a title.
We are currently running CKC pointing field trials.
CKC pointing trials have two main distinctions within them - puppy stakes and senior stakes. You can enter whichever stake you're ready for, with some exceptions (like age) - you don't have to run puppy stakes before running senior stakes.
Puppy stakes are a little lower pressure because they judge puppies' potential. Within puppy stakes, there are two main types of runs.
Open puppy stakes: any puppy *of eligible breed* between 6 and 18 months old. No birds hidden in the field, no gunshots on the course, 15-20 minutes running.
Derby stakes: any puppy of eligible breed between 6 and 27 months old. At least two birds hidden in the field, puppy needs to point birds if encountered, gunshots, 20-30 minutes.
We run open puppy for now. Here's how this goes:
We are randomly paired with another puppy and handler (this pairing is called a brace, the other handler and dog are our bracemates). We walk up to the start line together (usually the entrance to a big pasture) with our puppies on leash. Two judges (on ATV or horseback) give us a quick overview of the course we have to walk. The course is usually through a big open field with medium cover (think knee high grasses and shrubs, some wetlands, some hills but no forest) and typically avoids fencelines or roads. They tell us to release our dogs at the same time, so we let the dogs off leash and start walking (very fast, and I'm a fast walker to begin with). The course is usually huge, much bigger than we could possibly walk in 20 mins.
Usually the puppies play a little bit and then get to work. The judges are looking for puppies who can ignore the other dog and handler, judges, ATV, horses, and spectators, hunt independently, cover lots of ground (move fast and steady across the terrain while still sniffing), use the wind to follow scent, and respond to their handlers' directions. If the puppies want to play too much, the judges will ask the handlers to split up a little bit to encourage the puppies to work independently. Usually you stick within about 10m (25ft) of your bracemate. Puppies can range anywhere as long as they stay visible and ahead of their handlers. (Puppies are often about several hundred metres/yards away from their handlers depending on breed. Rory ranges about 50-100m in real life and about 75-300m in field trials. It is an exhilarating exercise in trust in my training.)
The judges follow behind us and then spectators can follow behind the judges, if they want. We have to keep up a very fast pace to encourage the puppies to cover as much ground as possible, not at a jog but pretty close.
In puppy stakes, you want to keep as quiet as you can. The judges are looking for instinct and basic potential, so you don't want to ruin that by giving your dog tons of directions. If your puppy follows directions, that suggests they need directions to function. If your dog ignores directions, that's unresponsive and also bad. Ideally you shouldn't say much during your run unless there's danger (if a deer runs out, you would recall your puppy) or evils (if your puppy is eating poop, you could recall or redirect). You are allowed to chat with your bracemate but you have to hustle fast so it's usually friendly but minimal.
One important piece of open puppy stakes is that there are no planted birds in the field! There may be wild birds, but it's unlikely. Many people "over train" their bird dog puppies on live birds, and then the puppies get really frustrated that there are no birds in the field after they search so hard. This causes puppies to slow down or give up entirely during their run, so this is something that judges look for. In real life hunting, there's no guarantee of birds so it's important that puppies can work through frustration without losing enthusiasm.
The judges kind of shout directions (go left, head for those trees) from behind to keep us on course. In the best courses, the judges make you walk a loop, but sometimes your time ends in the middle of a field. When your time is up, the judges will thank you and tell you to leash your dog. We recall our puppies and put them on leash and walk them back to our cars for water and snacks.
That's the whole run for open puppy! It's very low pressure. The puppies basically just follow their hearts and do what they were made to do.
Derby is extremely similar, except there are birds planted in the field. The puppies don't HAVE to find birds but obviously its preferable that they do. If they find birds, they must point (stop moving and stand still staring at the bird). They don't have to be steady to flush or shot (they can chase when the bird flies or when the gun goes off), and only blanks are shot in derby. The course is a little longer but everything else is the same.
In open puppy and derby stakes, the judges are just looking for potential. They want to know if your dog would be competitive in the senior stakes, so they're looking for lots of independence, lots of bird drive, lots of stamina, things like that. Because they're judging potential, younger puppies may be judged a little easier than older puppies.
I think that's the gist of puppy stakes in CKC pointing field trials! Send me a message if you have questions about our experience so far!

personal statements are so humiliating. everything i write sounds so horrifically cliched and the more i say about myself the more i realise there is truly nothing special about my application that would make me stand out enough to be worth a place on this course
#like i have good grades but so will everyone who applies because you need a 2:1 or above to be considered#and that is the only thing i have going for me. i don't have any work experience in the field and i haven't done any placements#all my practical real world experience is in archaeology and this is Not an archaeology programme#i literally have nothing else to say about myself. i haven't done shit and i have zero achievements#i'm hoping when i get rejected they'll give me some feedback so i can try again next year#but wanting to go into academia and not having this qualification is just a brick wall#literally everything i want to do requires this as a minimum. so if i don't get in (i won't) what the fuck do i do with myself#trying to get into your field is just realising that for whatever positive quality you have there are 50 ppl who have that quality but x100#on the one hand it genuinely motivates me to become better and keep trying. but on the other. how does one do that#i already read loads and write loads. i'm improving but not fast enough#i really need to work on getting something published but my ideas are mediocre and unoriginal and my writing style is just whatever#god. i do have a gut feeling that i Can Do This. i care about it more than at least 80% of students i meet#and my feedback is really good. it just isn't like. standout or special#but i AM a good teacher. i know i am. like i would slay so hard in tutorials if i had a bit more experience#idk it feels impossible and i'm already so far behind. i'm like 500 years old and i still don't have the two basic degrees i need

considering Uzi can see out of her tail imagine how freaking disorienting it would be whenever she whips it out. Her field of vision would almost double (3 eyes on each side of the head) The shift to and from having her tail out would be super disorientating
she’d probably feel really vulnerable when she doesn’t have it cuz she no longer has almost 360 vision (maybe??? I could do a little diagram to show her field of vision)
