BOOK OF BILL WEBSITE P2
This contains MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK OF BILL WEBSITE REFRESH. if you want to find and decode things by yourself do not read this!!
this is gonna be long bc im a yapper and all ive done the past 4 hours is sit on this website. strap in folks.
connecting to my last post, where we left off with the message from bill saying "IM STILL ON YOUR MIND" (if you havent read it, its pinned on my page and i will be referencing it a bit in this post)
If we plug this into the computer we get this video of the beach with Stanley talking, and from the sides it looks like hes on a boat, probably the Stan O War.
On the same note, if you type in "KINGS OF NEW JERSEY" you get a zip file sent to you labled SECRET CODE, which contains the bros code shown in the book of bill! nothing new but i thought it was pretty cute :)
I also wanted to share some code i found in different images. if you type in "BAAAAA" you get this:
I found this incredibly interesting, because a large part of bills backstory is that he wanted to "show his dimension the stars" he wanted to show them freedom. He was the shepherd. In the first part, i feel like it really shows bills feelings. "Tired of trotting around aimlessly, munching on whatevers near your mouth, sleeping on whatevers under your haunches." Bill knew there was more out there, he wasnt going to sit around doing nothing. He describes his massacre as "liberation."
The last verse of the poem stuck out to me. "It's time to fit in." but when i decoded the message at the bottom it made sense. It says "BLACK SHEEP" this suggests that Bill never fit in his home dimension.
more bill stuff, if you type in irregular you get his mugshot.
The code underneath reads : "NO PRISON OR ATTENTION SPAN CAN HOLD HIM" which may be hinting that he escapes his rehabilitation. hopefully not :/
The only reason i found this one was because it was in the code. it probably relates to something in a different code or book, but if you enter "BOOBERRY," you get this:
labled: "The Meaning Of Life," its a nice little tidbit i wanted to share.
"glue knives to your body and run around the buffet" true poetry.
and the last bill cipher bit of this post, if you type "ADASTRAPERASPERA" you get another page of the journal about bills corpse.
ford and mable bonding time my babies...
also the triangluar spots in the mushrooms?? the disease spreads...
onto fiddauthor we only eat fiddauthor in this house. this isnt decoding but i needed to share because they are my everythings. if you plug in "SORRY", it blesses you with the complete photo of fiddleford and stanford :( and if you flip it its a note from fidds
FIDDLEFORD BEING THE FIRST MCGUCKET TO GO TO COLLEGE
also his mustache getting caught in a pencil sharpener??? shave that shit boy
also ford being the only one who believed in his theory, then spent 9 hours with him proving it??? they r soulmates, and also the fact that mcgucket was about to go home when stanford came in.
also fiddleford never noticing his hands
thats all for now, im tired. if you read all of this i love you

The Love Hypothesis
Series: The Love Hypothesis
Book 1
Book Description
When a fake relationship between scientists meets the irresistible force of attraction, it throws one woman's carefully calculated theories on love into chaos.
As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships—but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.
That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor—and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford's reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. But when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive's career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding...six-pack abs.
Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope.
Love on the Brain
Series: The Love Hypothesis
Book 2
Book description
Like an avenging, purple-haired Jedi bringing balance to the mansplained universe, Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project—a literal dream come true after years scraping by on the crumbs of academia—Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. And sure, he caught her in his powerfully corded arms like a romance novel hero when she accidentally damseled in distress on her first day in the lab. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school—archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.
Now, her equipment is missing, the staff is ignoring her, and Bee finds her floundering career in somewhat of a pickle. Perhaps it’s her occipital cortex playing tricks on her, but Bee could swear she can see Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas…devouring her with those eyes. And the possibilities have all her neurons firing. But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there’s only one question that matters: What will Bee Königswasser do?
Love, Theoretically
Series: The Love Hypothesis
Book 3
Book description
The many lives of theoretical physicist Elsie Hannaway have finally caught up with her. By day, she’s an adjunct professor, toiling away at grading labs and teaching thermodynamics in the hopes of landing tenure. By other day, Elsie makes up for her non-existent paycheck by offering her services as a fake girlfriend, tapping into her expertly honed people-pleasing skills to embody whichever version of herself the client needs.
Honestly, it’s a pretty sweet gig—until her carefully constructed Elsie-verse comes crashing down. Because Jack Smith, the annoyingly attractive and arrogant older brother of her favorite client, turns out to be the cold-hearted experimental physicist who ruined her mentor’s career and undermined the reputation of theorists everywhere. And he’s the same Jack Smith who rules over the physics department at MIT, standing right between Elsie and her dream job.
Elsie is prepared for an all-out war of scholarly sabotage but…those long, penetrating looks? Not having to be anything other than her true self when she’s with him? Will falling into an experimentalist’s orbit finally tempt her to put her most guarded theories on love into practice?

When I Don’t Hear From God...

Every last one of us has asked the question, What’s next? High school students trying to figure out where to go for college have asked this question. So have college students trying to lock in on a major (80% will change majors at least once), along with singles who are in a dating relationship and married people needing to discern when to have kids and how many. While these questions defy any unique faith category, Christians have historically filed these under the heading of the will of God. “God, what are you saying?,” we groan when faced with life’s proverbial forks in the road.
But this very question now sparks an age-old theological debate. While Christ followers contend that Christ does speak, we can be at odds over the method. Sure God’s primary voice is the Word of God, but does He also speak audibly? Garry Friesen’s, Decision Making and the Will of God, is weighted towards the no, while the title to Dallas Willard’s, Hearing God, let’s you know where he stands on the question.
If you’re looking for an answer to whether you should attend Stanford or Morehouse, marry Shiela or break up with her or take the out-of-state job, you just won’t find a chapter or verse in the Bible that will give you that answer. So what are we to do when faced with these decisions? I’ve found the following steps to be helpful:
Step One: Ask Him
In John 10, Jesus describes himself as “The Door” and “The Good Shepherd.” The metaphor of “The Door” points to salvation—how one gets into the sheepfold of the flock of God. The metaphor of “The Good Shepherd” depicts Jesus’ relationship with His sheep once they’re in. Then Jesus says, “When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice” (John 10:4). The Greek word for know is an intuitive knowledge, like the kind of knowing I had when after a few months of dating Korie I just knew she was going to be my wife. Or the kind of knowing one has when they meet someone for the first time and just know something’s not right. It’s that knowledge the sheep have when their shepherd speaks. Do you see what’s being implied here? The Shepherd is speaking long after the sheep have come through the door (of salvation). Jesus speaks.
A few chapters later, Jesus pictures the Holy Spirit as our guide. Now what does a guide do? He speaks. When I was a little boy, my father taught me the timeless principles of fishing—things like how to bait a hook, cast and reel. A few years ago, I went on a fishing trip where I hired a guide. All he did was take the basic truths I’d learned of fishing and he showed me how to apply them in specific places at specific times so that I had great success. This is how the Holy Spirit works with the Word. The Word gives us the timeless principles, and the Holy Spirit—our guide—shows us how to apply them in specific ways. We just need to ask Him.
Step Two: Use Wisdom
In his book, Hearing God, Dallas Willard tells the story of a preacher who was out in the middle of a field late one night, and he couldn’t see. The field was full of rocks which made his journey treacherous. Several times he heard someone calling his name. Finally, he stopped and felt around. It was a good thing he did this. A few more feet and he would have died. Oh, by the way, he never saw the person who was speaking to him, and concluded it had to have been God.
Can I confess to you that this rarely happens to me. Maybe a handful of times in my whole life have I heard the voice of God in this way. The normal pattern for me is that I pray and ask God to speak into something, and I don’t hear anything. Now what?
There’s a whole section of the Bible called Wisdom Literature. Books like Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and several others make up this genre of Scripture. Wisdom is skillful living. It’s practically applying the timeless principles of Scripture to the specific scenarios of every day life. Now this is interesting, because embedded in the very idea of wisdom is choice.
By the end of this year, my boys will be teenagers, and what I’m trying to do, the older they get, is to not tell them exactly what they need to do. Hard, I know. I think good parenting empowers children to make age appropriate decisions. I also think this is how God parents us. A sign of immaturity is the need to be told exactly what to do in every situation. It’s the mature person who can make decisions within certain parameters.
So, when I don’t hear from God, I take that as God saying, make a decision. Now I know this will rub some of you the wrong way, because you think God needs to speak into every decision you make. But can I ask you a question? Did you pray about what pants to wear today? Or if you should wear pants at all? Did you pray about brushing your teeth, or where to get gas? Of course you didn’t, and you shouldn’t. We make decisions every day, wise ones. It’s the child who needs to be told to brush his teeth. The mature person doesn’t. Again, when you don’t hear anything from God, make the decision, a wise one. But how do we do that?
Step Three: Figure Out the Fences
Imagine your child asks you if she can play in the backyard. You say, “yes,” but a few minutes later she comes in and says can I play on the slide? You agree. A few minutes later she asks if it’s okay to play on the swing set? “Of course,” you say. Then she asks comes back in moments later and asks if she can play in the sandbox. You look your sweet daughter in the face and tell her your will is she plays within the fences of the backyard, and she can make whatever decision she wants as long as its within those fences.
The same holds true for us. I think it’s good to ask God about our “sandboxes,” but when we don’t hear an answer we have to figure out the fences—those biblical parameters—that will help us make a decision. So, for example, when thinking through a job situation, it’s always helpful to process these fences: 1. Will the job contribute to the common good of society; 2. Will it allow me to provide for my family (As a man this is my call); and 3. Has God given me the gifts and capacity to meet the demands of the job? While there’re more questions we could ask, these are the fences. Now we are free to choose.

The blockchain market is sizzling; this is find out how to be taught the abilities for it
New Post has been published on https://takenews.net/the-blockchain-market-is-sizzling-this-is-find-out-how-to-be-taught-the-abilities-for-it/
The blockchain market is sizzling; this is find out how to be taught the abilities for it
The job of growing blockchain distributed ledgers for companies was just lately ranked second among the many prime 20 fastest-growing job abilities, and postings for staff with these abilities grew greater than 200% final yr.
Salaries for blockchain developer or “engineer” positions are accordingly excessive, with median salaries within the U.S. hovering round $130,000 a yr; that compares to common software program builders, whose annual median pay is $105,000, in line with Matt Sigelman, CEO of job knowledge analytics agency Burning Glass Applied sciences.
In high-tech areas of the U.S. comparable to Silicon Valley, New York Metropolis or Boston, a blockchain developer has a median annual wage of $158,000 – an $18,000 premium over salaries for common software program builders.
Individuals with expertise with particular blockchain iterations, comparable to Solidity and Hyperledger Composer, are in even greater demand – and that demand is growing steadily, stated Eric Piscini, a principal within the know-how and banking practices at Deloitte Consulting LLP.
“That is the primary factor I take into account once I get up within the morning: ‘The place will I discover extra engineers to affix the group,'” Piscini stated by way of e mail.
Solidity is a blockchain programming language for creating good contracts (self-executing scripts); Hyperledger Composer is an open-source model of blockchain primarily based on JavaScript; it has REST API help that permits non-developers and builders to create enterprise networks.
Together with Hyperledger, Ethereum is the world’s main blockchain platform and each are the idea for a myriad of decentralized functions (Dapps), from good contracts to cryptocurrencies comparable to Ethereum’s Ether.
Just under blockchain engineers on the checklist of the fastest-growing jobs is a associated ability: bitcoin cryptocurrency builders. (Blockchain is the know-how that underpins bitcoin.)
Taking second fiddle solely to robotics specialists, blockchain and bitcoin builders are promoting their companies for as a lot as $200 per hour, in line with Upwork, an employment web site that makes a speciality of freelance staff.
Most who select so as to add blockchain to their skillset or search a profession as blockchain builders are sometimes versed in programming languages comparable to Java or Python, Piscini stated. However that is on no account a prerequisite.
“Extra universities are beginning curricula and the pure cycle to graduate sufficient college students will produce good volumes within the subsequent few years,” Piscini stated. “We collaborate with universities world wide to develop content material and rent the most effective expertise.”
A number of accredited U.S. universities now supply programs on blockchain, comparable to MIT, which has supplied two programs on cryptocurrency engineering and design, and Stanford College, which has a course referred to as Bitcoin Engineering that teaches builders find out how to create bitcoin-enabled functions. There are additionally specialty faculties, comparable to Mountain View, Calif.-based Blockchain College and London-based schooling startup B9lab, which launched a web based Licensed Ethereum Developer Coaching program in 2016.
“We have been operating this and different programs for over two years now and have educated 1,000 individuals from over 75 nations,” stated Elias Haase, founding father of B9lab.
Probably the most profitable college students in B9lab’s programs are likely to have sysadmin expertise and have labored with Javascript earlier than, Hasse stated, however “with the correct quantity of focus, we have seen individuals from completely different backgrounds do very well.
“Our youngest pupil was 14, the oldest 76. So we have seen a fairly broad number of builders,” he stated.
At the moment, the simplest and quickest technique to change into proficient is to be taught by yourself or attend applications organized by blockchain distributors and teams, comparable to Consensys, Blockapps, the Ethereum Basis and Hyperledger.
Below the auspices of the Linux Basis, Hyperledger is a collaborative cross-industry effort created to advance blockchain know-how. Its Hyperledger Cloth and Sawtooth modular frameworks may be foundations for growing distributed ledgers for companies.
Whereas software program builders are typically those who join blockchain programs, you do not have to be a coder to glean business-oriented data of the distributed ledger know-how and even be taught to create blockchain networks in your firm, in line with Hyperledger Neighborhood Architect Tracy Kuhrt.
For instance, Hyperledger provides an introductory course for enterprise individuals who merely wish to study how the know-how may be utilized to their setting. The course features a primer for techies hoping to learn to begin constructing blockchain functions with Hyperledger frameworks.
Hyperledger’s programs are designed to be accomplished in 40 hours, however there is no time restrict for finishing the programs.
Builders who wish to be taught coding can take extra particular programs on blockchain modular platforms, comparable to Hyperledger Cloth or Sawtooth. These in search of a certificates in Hyperledger blockchain know-how can flip to open on-line course supplier edX; upon completion, they will pay $99 for a certificates within the know-how.
“The programs could possibly be taken by somebody who will not be developer,” Kuhrt stated. “It does present a working instance for the 2 initiatives we’ve – Hyperledger Cloth and Sawtooth. There are step-by-step directions…to work by way of that. So far as whether or not or not it will be tough for somebody who does not have programming expertise, I do not assume that is the place the problem can be. I believe someone who does not spend numerous time looking at command traces in a pc might need some challenges, however it actually is meant to assist anyone to stand up and operating and be capable to see what’s doable with blockchain applied sciences.”
Till final yr, Kuhrt had spent 10 years as a software program engineer at PayPal, working her method as much as its strategic structure group the place she was tasked to take a look at blockchain as a possible enterprise platform. Kuhrt went on to design and implement a proof of idea for a PayPal rewards level program utilizing Hyperledger Cloth, an open-source modular blockchain structure.
“That is how I bought fascinated with Hyperledger. It is a fantastic place to get in on the bottom flooring,” stated Kuhrt, who final yr took the job at Hyperledger, the Linux Basis venture began in 2015. “I believe this know-how goes to make some large modifications in the best way enterprise is completed.”
Kuhrt is now accountable for connecting outdoors technologists to the Hyperledger’s numerous blockchain initiatives, together with its free coaching programs.
For the reason that programs went on-line final yr, 72,925 individuals have enrolled and a pair of,252 have accomplished the course work, in line with Kuhrt. Not surprisingly, enrollments proceed to blow up because the adoption of blockchain in a myriad of industries continues to develop
Blockchain functions are being utilized to healthcare file administration, renewable vitality certificates buying and selling and provide chain administration, amongst others.
Toptal, a service that connects numerous software program builders with employers, simply launched a brand new blockchain specialization service for companies trying to find blockchain engineers.
Since January 2017, Toptal stated its shopper demand for blockchain experience has shot up by greater than 700%.
As enterprises and enterprise capitalists alike present capital and credibility to blockchain initiatives, the ‘s problem has change into the tempo at which the know-how itself grows. For blockchain to succeed, it’s going to want a sustainable, accessible pool of elite expertise, in line with Luka Horvat, head of Expertise Operations at Toptal.
Whereas shifting right into a profession as a blockchain engineer is not any small feat, because it does require a big time funding into turning into acquainted with the instruments and associated applied sciences, it is a superb time to take the leap, stated Horvat.
“Demand for blockchain builders is at an all-time excessive,” he stated.
To transition right into a profession in blockchain, step one anybody would want to take is to choose the preliminary know-how they wish to work on, Horvat stated. That may vary from contributing to a core of open-sourced blockchains (e.g., Bitcoin); creating enterprise networks utilizing the Hyperledger household of modular platforms; or creating public good contracts utilizing Solidity.
“Having expertise with back-end and decrease stage growth (cryptography) is helpful for the transition as effectively, however will not be required,” Horvat stated.
Toptal units a excessive bar for expertise, requiring engineers to have a robust basic data of blockchain and the underlying applied sciences – together with cryptography and distributed techniques – in addition to some data of how most public blockchains work, “which we check for utilizing theoretical assessments and coding duties that are geared in direction of the applied sciences powering blockchains.”
Blockchain developer positions are available in all kinds, from hourly to full-time. The kind of function is determined by the scale of the shopper and the type of venture or product it’s engaged on, in line with Horvat. Regardless, the demand for blockchain roles (whether or not hourly or full-time) is skyrocketing.
Toptal’s shopper checklist ranges from startups elevating funds by way of ICOs (preliminary coin choices) to Fortune 100 firms which can be transferring main enterprise segments to blockchain, Horvat stated. The work builders are tackling varies from distributed programming to cryptography, non-public blockchains, decentralized functions and good contracts, amongst others.
“Some purchasers begin with only some builders half time to get a venture began, after which ramp up with a bigger full-time group because the venture will get underway,” Horvat stated. “Because the underlying applied sciences associated to blockchain proceed to evolve over time, organizations which can be investing within the know-how can have wants that evolve as effectively, which Toptal is suited to addressing.”
The provision of blockchain consultants, nevertheless, nonetheless lags effectively behind the demand for his or her companies.
In a survey of 200 Fortune 500 executives by Synechron Inc., a New York-based IT consultancy, 55% stated that they had plans to implement blockchain know-how over the subsequent decade.
“For blockchain know-how to realize traction, it’s going to require extra builders to accumulate the abilities to have the ability to work with the know-how,” stated Windsor Holden, a blockchain analyst with Juniper Analysis. “Even assuming 20,000 builders have labored with blockchain in some kind or one other, that is lower than 1 in 1,000 builders worldwide. For the second, these builders that do have expertise within the subject are in nice demand.”
Whereas the small variety of builders will stand to profit enormously within the brief time period, it will likely be important to develop coaching applications, each by academia and in-house by way of the main know-how suppliers, in line with Holden.
Within the meantime, quite a few blockchain ‘boot camps’ have supplied builders an introduction to the know-how, together with an eight-week course offered by New York’s Byte Academy that prices $10,000.
The Academy – College of Blockchain claims to be one of many solely accredited faculties for blockchain code coaching. The college is accredited by the Southern Affiliation of Faculties and Colleges (SACS-CASI).
On Jan. 29, the Academy launched its first onsite “immersion class” to retrain 120 software program builders for blockchain in Sofia, Bulgaria; it plans to supply a six-week on-line course in July. The immersion blockchain course is six weeks lengthy and prices from $18,000 to $24,000, relying on the placement of the courses, the Academy stated in its advertising materials.
The Academy is launching 4 extra worldwide courses within the April-Could timeframe, the places of which have but to be introduced. It expects about 1,600 college students will full its six-week blockchain coaching program this yr.
The college additionally works with college students to put them in jobs as soon as they full this system.
Whereas the primary class has but to graduate, an Academy spokesperson stated its common software program growth program boasts a graduate placement charge of 92%, “and we totally anticipate our blockchain pupil placement charge to equal, if not surpass that charge.”
The U.S. is predicted to guide the world in blockchain investments, accounting for 40% of spending, adopted by Western Europe, China and the Asia Pacific area (not together with Japan), in line with a current report from IDC.
By 2021, spending on blockchain is predicted to achieve $9.2 billion, with the know-how prone to rival that of Linux and the open-source software program basically.
Whereas 2017 was thought-about a time of experimentations for the still-evolving know-how, as companies got here to see each its advantages and challenges, this yr is taken into account an important yr as enterprises transfer from proof-of-concept initiatives to full blockchain deployments.
“Blockchain is a know-how that can proceed to be round for a very long time and it is a spot individuals can construct a profession round,” Kuhrt stated. “I believe I might spend the remainder of my profession interested by blockchain applied sciences.”
This story, “The blockchain market is sizzling; this is find out how to be taught the abilities for it” was initially revealed by Computerworld.

Notes on William Ernest Henley
INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.
Willian Ernest Henley, 1849 - 1903
Born in Gloucester, at age 19 Willian Ernest Henley had the lower part of his leg removed due to tuberculosis of the bone. Robert Louis Stevenson confessed to him that his character of peg-legged Long John Silver in his book "Treasure Island" was based upon Henley: "It was the sight of your maimed strength and masterfulness that begot Long John Silver ... the idea of the maimed man, ruling and dreaded by the sound, was entirely taken from you."
Henley's battles with ill health and periods in hospital beds made him passionate about life and overcoming his limitations. He had a group of followers, known as the "Henley Regatta". G. K. Chesterton, writing in 1902 on the poetry of Alexander Pope, made mention of Henley and his "Regatta":
"We have had a great revival in our time of the cult of violence and hostility. Mr Henley and his young men have an infinite number of furious epithets with which to overwhelm any one who differs from them. It is not a placid or untroubled position to be Mr Henley's enemy, though we know that it is certainly safer than to be his friend. And yet, despite all this, these people produce no satire. Political and social satire is a lost art, like pottery and stained glass. It may be worth while to make some attempt to point out a reason for this." - https://en.wikisource.org/…/Twel…/Pope_and_the_Art_of_Satire
Some of Henley's poems seem modern and free, others seem pinned to the page like insects in a late Victorian collection. But they all have some sense of scansion and verse. Henley and his wife had one child called Margaret. She was a sickly little girl with a speech impediment who was befriended by Henley's mate J. M. Barrie. She would call Barrie her "fwendy-wendy" and Barrie immortalised her as the character "Wendy" in Peter Pan.
Like the Llewellyn Davies boys who were also immortalised in the tale of Peter Pan, the inspirations for the male children (including the "Lost Boys") in that classic tale did not have long lives. The book began as a play. George Llewelyn Davies was killed in WWI, and Michael - who was thought to have inspired the character of Peter Pan - became an Oxford student. In 1921, aged 20, he died from drowning at Stanford Lasher, a deep pool below a weir on the Thames, with another undergraduate, his best friend and possible lover, Rupert Buxton. Andrew Birkin wrote that the two bodies were clasping each other when recovered. Peter Llewellyn Davies, who was resentful of Barrie's relationship with Michael, burned letters that had been written by the author to his younger brother. In April 1963, Peter stood on the platform of Sloane Street tube station for hours, before throwing himself under a train. http://modernnotion.com/peter-llewelyn-davies/
Willian Ernest Henley's daughter Margaret, the inspiration for the character of Wendy, had a life even less fortunate. On 11 February 1894, she died. She had not reached her sixth birthday. Barrie had resurrected her in his play "Peter Pan" (also called "Peter and Wendy") which appeared in 1904, a year after Henley himself died, and Peter Pan became published as a children's novel in 1911.
Another poem by William Ernest Henley:
DOUBLE BALLADE OF LIFE AND FATE
Fools may pine, and sots may swill, Cynics gibe, and prophets rail, Moralists may scourge and drill, Preachers prose, and fainthearts quail. Let them whine, or threat, or wail! Till the touch of Circumstance Down to darkness sink the scale, Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.
What if skies be wan and chill? What if winds be harsh and stale? Presently the east will thrill, And the sad and shrunken sail, Bellying with a kindly gale, Bear you sunwards, while your chance Sends you back the hopeful hail:— ‘Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.’
Idle shot or coming bill, Hapless love or broken bail, Gulp it (never chew your pill!), And, if Burgundy should fail, Try the humbler pot of ale! Over all is heaven’s expanse. Gold’s to find among the shale. Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.
Dull Sir Joskin sleeps his fill, Good Sir Galahad seeks the Grail, Proud Sir Pertinax flaunts his frill, Hard Sir Æger dints his mail; And the while by hill and dale Tristram’s braveries gleam and glance, And his blithe horn tells its tale:— ‘Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.’
Araminta’s grand and shrill, Delia’s passionate and frail, Doris drives an earnest quill, Athanasia takes the veil: Wiser Phyllis o’er her pail, At the heart of all romance Reading, sings to Strephon’s flail:— ‘Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.’
Every Jack must have his Jill (Even Johnson had his Thrale!): Forward, couples—with a will! This, the world, is not a jail. Hear the music, sprat and whale! Hands across, retire, advance! Though the doomsman’s on your trail, Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.
Envoy
Boys and girls, at slug and snail And their kindred look askance. Pay your footing on the nail: Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.

iii. volume three (2012 - present)
part two of two
It only took about 30 years, but Stanley had finally rebuilt his twin brother's design and got it to work. In the year 2012, Stanford managed to be reunited with his twin brother from the realm beyond that portal. However, it wouldn't be long before the mischievous entity known to them as Bill Cypher would show himself to the twins again. Later that summer, the demon known as Bill Cypher would bridge the gap between his nightmare dimension to the city of Gravity Falls. Assisting Stanley with his nephew Dipper and niece Maybel, Stan was successfully able to trick Bill into his mind while Ford erase his memory and in turn erase Bill Cypher from existence.
.i - (present)
After the defeat of Bill Cypher and the Battle for Gravity Falls, Stanford Pines took sail to the seas with his twin brother Stanley, searching for the odd and unexplained and occasionally visiting the Mystery Shack from time to time.

iii. volume three (1981)
part one of two
Six years after his arrival in Gravity Falls, Oregon, Stanford Pines had hit a wall in his research. Sure, he'd encounter a new type of mysterious phenomenon every other day, but was no closer to explain where it all comes from. In his agony in not progressing any of his research, Ford had threatened to all but quit. However, it would appear that Ford's research wouldn't be all for naught as he catches the attention of one triangle shaped muse by the name of Bill Cypher.
Meeting him in a dream, Bill Cypher offers Ford assistance to further progress in his research. The catch, however, being occasional possession of Ford's body by Bill Cypher. Desperate for answers, Ford accepts and takes on Bill Cypher as an inter-dimensional mentor and occasional body thief.
And with that, the two took to start on building an inter-dimensional portal that would bridge Bill's dimension with Ford's. Needing more than inter-dimensional assistance, Ford sought out the help of electrical engineer Fiddleford McGucket. Together, they would built a successful model of an inter-dimensional portal. It wouldn't be until Fiddleford accidentally peeks into the portal that Ford begins to question Bill Cypher's motives. It turns out, Bill Cypher wasn't a muse at all, but a demon with the intent to enter Ford's dimension and conquer it.
Ford would stop all contact with the entity Bill Cypher even going so far as to install Project Mentes - a metal plate that would stop Bill Cypher and possibly other psychic entities from intruding his mind. From here on out, Ford would live his life in Gravity Falls in paranoia. For would also, however, work to protect the town of Gravity Falls and the dimension it exists in from Bill Cypher's hands.
