How To Train Your Dragon (2010) - I put Test Drive on my study playlist but I can never focus to it bc I'm too busy ascending. what is that motif and why does it do that to me. I've never even seen the movie.

Music I Write To:

recently I’ve been getting some anon asks about what kind of music i write to while i write/what specific songs/albums i listen to

i mentioned a while ago that i typically don’t like listening to music with lyrics when writing as the lyrics and vocals tend to distract me when trying to write (my brain is wired weird, i know) so i typically only listen to film scores when writing.

now with that caveat, i usually circulate a few different scores that i’m fixated on, depending on the mood of the fic im working on (note: this is not an endorsement of some of these films nor their narratives, i simply just love listening to pretty music and that’s all some of these are… you’ll probably be able to pick out which ones im referring to)

currently, my favorite/go-to film scores are:
