because the worst time to discover that you do not possess a plunger is when you need a plunger and honestly, no one thinks about the presence or absence of a plunger until they're looking for one

#just a helpful tip to give you a hint at how my day is going #we moved almost 6 months ago and we were frantically packing the last few items before the final walkthrough #and although the pluger we had is one we purchased i guarantee (although i do not remember) that we decided packing it was too much hassle #we could just buy a new plunger #after all our stuff was going in storage for several weeks #and the new owners wouldn't turn their noses up at being left a convenient bathroom tool #and that was all fine until we forgot that we no longer own a plunger #and it has been nearly 5 months in this house and the need for one has not arisen #until now #and surprise #we don't own a plunger anymore!!#one of our toilets is not usable until we go purchase a plunger!!#which none of us want to do today!!#it's great it's fine

final fantasy x-2 is a stupid game where you have to press buttons unprompted at precise moments during emotional cutscenes in order to get story completion points and it's a silly game where you are in your most powerful form when dressed in a ridiculous mascot outfit and it's a brilliant game where turn-based and real-time combat intersect in interesting exciting ways and it's a shitty game where jumping off a platform takes thirty tries and it's a tragic game about how anyone could possibly overcome pain and loss and failure without being plagued by regret and longing and it's a hopeful game about a world learning to find joy and life again after a young girl saves it and it's about three cringey teenage magical girl best friends flying around the world doing literally whatever the hell they want on an insanely garish mountain-sized flying motorcycle thing and it's about collecting friends and family and building a home there. all this to say: it's a game about love. you get it

#the worldbuilding of this game is REALLY incredible i like it so much #also there are two pop song music videos and they Rule #this game was so bad and it was SOOOOO good #sister and i got 100% completion! it only took like 7 walkthroughs and 3 spreadsheets and a few replays of several hours-long chunks #was the perfect ending cutscene worth it? no :)#but the 100.0% on our Checklist Spreadsheet totally was B)#text #nova shh #gaming #final fantasy #ffx #lulu tag

The way Final Fantasy Type-0 ending hits me so hard when I haven't EVEN played the game.

I still feel the same pain as when I saw the ending on YouTube for the first time ten years ago, and I didn't understand anything because it was only in Japanese.

but seeing these students who are in pain and crying together and then Ace comes and sings to calm them down and they start to talk and laugh and all die holding each other's hands… SO MUCH HURTT

i'm both having so much fun with d.ate e.verything and getting burnt out on trying to manage all the plotlines so i think it's time for a day or two off

#took me 3 tries to get w.ashford and d.rysdale back together and only because i finally had a walkthrough #hint for yall: you need your smarts at 25 minimum to get w.ashford to love you #you're locked into the hate ending otherwise #christina.txt #christina plays #i have nearly 40 endings i think and still another 20 dateables to unlock #bc i got too many hate endings and i restarted my og file a couple days ago oop--#im basically all caught up now and i've fixed all the hate endings and a couple of friendship ones where i wanted romance instead #AND YET THE ONLY PEOPLE I CAN REALIZE ARE S.INCLAIRE AND D.AEMON #i'm trying to get my smarts up to complete m.aggie's quest so she'll date me
