I honestly headcanon all of his readers to be at least a little bit strong, in most cases he is bigger in size but they can pull their own in a fight (im not a fan of damsel in distress reader honestly ;v;)

I think he likes the sudden surprise but is still pretty embarrassed about it, he tells you to stop and swats at your arms but it does make him feel some type of way.

Even in this dynamic, he'd still want to play the role of the protector so it's a one sided competition at the very least, though if you keep it up at the beginning of the relationship he just stops fighting back and lets you manhandle him randomly whenever you're in your older brother mood, plus wrestling him can escalate to bigger things and that's a win for him

edit: might need to add some additional dialogue to this to make it more clear, but a clarification in the interim; he knows about his own footprints. he's just surprised to see something similar already there when he knows he's only just landed. he lifts his own shoe to confirm that they're not identical (and also to reveal this to the viewer). seems his stoicism beat off the clarity in this one, sorry 😭

YOU DON'T HAVE TO AFFIRM FOR EVERY LITTLE STEP

It you're anything like me (severe anxiety and audhd—aka the need to do things 'correctly'), then you probably affirm for every little step. If you haven't, still stay with me here.

Bloggers always say that umbrella affs are your best friend, and I wholeheartedly agree, but that's because I usually manifest with the list method and affirm that I have everything that I want. I'm manifesting my man right now, though, and I'm definitely personally overcomplicated it.

I've believed that I needed to affirm that he's gonna call me before I affirm that he's my man. I don't, though, and that belief has only held me back.

I keep getting hung up on the fact that he hasn't called me yet (severe anxiety gang) in the 3d, and I keep feeling like I'm moving backward instead of forward.

I'm not, though, and you aren't either.

You absolutely can use umbrella affirmations for things that are more of a 'process'. (By process, I mean that it has different stages).

You can affirm that he's your man if you haven't spoken to him in twelve years (cough me cough). Everything that's supposed to happen is still going to happen. He's still gonna call you, you're still gonna meet your desired friend group, and you will still get everything that you desire.
